I rarely give feedback on companies, but felt the need to share the experience I had last week. From the time that I walked in, till my car was finished, I watched a team of guys that really enjoyed their job. It started from the top, where I saw the owner come from behind the counter, and sit next to an elderly lady, and explained her different tire options. Overhearing the conversation, he was helping her select the best option for her budget, and not over selling, because of her lack of knowledge.When it was my turn, I explained to Larry that my rear passenger tire was making a sound, and while they were changing my tires, if they could take a look at it. He said no problem, they would find out what was causing the noise. I few minutes later, he came into the waiting area, and showed me a abnormal wearing of the tire due to not rotating them, was the culprit. I had four new tires installed and balanced in less that 45 minutes, which is so awesome. Not to mention, at a great price. Thanks to Larry and the team at Quality Discount Tire Pros, for making it a WOW experience. Great to see that there are still companies out there that pride themself on the value of great customer service. Thank you!

My tire pressure light came on so I called to see if someone could look at my car— they got me in for an appt. less than 2 hours later on the same day. The employees are prompt and honest, and the prices are extremely fair. They made sure to review what was done before doing it, provide pricing, and even came in to ask about small additional things I hadn’t noticed (a burnt headlight). I'm about to move out of the area, and wish I could bring this place with me. Last time I was there, it was to get them to install a trailer hitch. They charged me $50 for half hour of labor. They could have easily gotten away with $150 by claiming it took longer. Another place quoted me $270. They don't overcharge, they give good advice, and they are polite. The downside is that they're usually crowded because everyone trusts them. This means you will usually need to make an appointment and wait.

DISHONEST PRICING!! I took my Ford F150 with 305x55x10 tires for a routine rotation & balance. I was charged double the amount of what was quoted to me and what's stated in their front lobby. When asked about the price difference, I was told it was due to the tire size. These are not monster truck size tires their common tires that majority of Tires Shops carries and installs. Quality Discount Tire be honest with your customers about pricing before performing the work, not afterward. Beyond the pricing issue, the staff was friendly and seemed competent in their workmanship.

I had some other service done at a dealership and was quoted a pretty hefty price for replacing a corroded wheel stud. I've always purchased my tires from Quality so I brought the car in to find out the real story. They are amazing, they saw what was going on right away and took care of the problem. But Steve, the owner, said the tires on one car were fine. He also detected some sound from the steering wheel. His mechanic was happy to make that repair and refused to charge me. I called in to ask for a price of Michelin tires and was given a price over the phone that seemed reasonable. I asked if the mechanics would be able to change the tire without damaging the TPMS sensor. The guy on the phone giggled and said that's no problem that they weren't a big box store and their technicians are more qualified with years of experience. I let him know I had previously went to Merchant tires and they had broke one of my sensors and made me pay for it an grossly overcharged me. He reassured me that it was no problem. So I made an appointment for the next day and it turned out I was speaking with the owner Steve. I came in the next morning and they quickly got my car in. Within an hour my car was done an I was out of there with my tires. The price the owner gave over the phone was almost exactly what I paid which I was happy about an was literally HALF of what I paid at Merchants Tires. They made sure my sensors were all working ok which I appreciated. This is an honest business which is rare nowadays. Quality Discount Pros will definitely have my future business.

I came to Quality to get 4 new tires for my Mercedes Benz. I had called around to other shops and Quality was the lowest and Larry whom I spoke with was very friendly. I returned to Quality Discount Tire several months after buying a set of tires with a complaint about a persistent leak that caused the tire light to come on roughly every three weeks. I thought that the problem was that it had been poorly mounted but I was wrong. The guys at QDT showed me that the cause was a bad tire sensor that had deteriorated over time to the point that air was sleeping through the seal around the sensor. Not only was I wrong about the cause of the leak, the price for the repair was very reasonable, so I walked away satisfied and confident in their work for the next repair, whenever the need should arise.

Nobody wants a tow into their business right before closing on a Friday- except Rolando from Quality! My car- starter issue-was in to Quality by closing Friday and ready for pickup on Monday by noon. I was clearly advised that my vehicle would not get a real look- see until Monday. On Monday morning at 9-ish I received a call from Rolando detailing the problem and the cost and I gave the go ahead. All of Quality’s staff are so professional. Expectations EXCEEDED. I am back on the road.

On April 18th I had my brake rotors and pads replaced for $396.53, but I'm pretty sure they just reset the computer in my car because I did not notice an improvement. I previously brought my car in for a tire change, which worked out fabulously for a great price, so from now on I will only be using tire services here, not auto repair. When I had my brakes repaired, it was recommended that my exhaust manifold be changed as well, but given my brakes continued sub-par performance after the repair, I will need a second opinion and will seek auto repairs elsewhere. Will update review when I seek second opinion, which will not be for a while.

I came to Quality for service because they did a good job on my tires a few months ago. I needed an oil change, new wipers, and a battery before a long trip. Less than 24 hours later we’re heading to NY and the oil pressure light turns on indicating that my engine is in danger because of low oil. Then it starts raining and it turns out they put the wrong windshield wipers on. Keeping my fingers crossed they got the battery right! These aren’t complicated service items. But they’re batting zero. I may call them first thing Monday to complain, but honestly I won’t trust them to get it right. So I’ll have to swallow the cost, waste my time and money, and take it to a dealer to make it right. I’m just hoping there isn’t engine damage from whatever they did with the oil. Yes, they’re very nice. But nice doesn’t repair a car. UPDATE: The owner saw this and tracked me down, genuinely concerned about what happened. We had an extremely cordial interaction and we kept in touch while I was at the dealer getting these issues addressed. On the oil pressure issue, the dealer's mechanic said he didn't see any leaks or evident irregularities beyond a small dip in the amount of oil, but he said it was better to be safe than sorry. It's fully possible the Quality mechanic simply didn't reset the maintenance light, in which case the problem wasn't with the oil but an oversight. But even that is troubling for a driver facing a low oil pressure warning light -- it means you still have to spend hours traveling to and at the shop to figure out if something went wrong. As for the wiper blades, the dealer put new ones on that are better suited to the vehicle. I raised the rating to three stars because of the owner's responsiveness and lack of defensiveness. Things happen, and my situation may have been an outlier. He also agreed without protest to refund the cost of the oil and wipers, which again shows his good faith. I suppose if I were looking for an independent shop, I might be willing to give them a try again ... in large part because they do seem to care about the quality of their work. And the reason I went back in the first place is because they were so good on my tire purchase.

Possibly one of the best service experiences I have had! The day before the 4th of July and someone get my attention on the road and makes me aware of a nail in the side of my tire. I called Quality Discounnt Tire Pros at 4:00 PM and asked if they could help me out? They said, if you get here in 15 minutes we can take a look. They closed at 5:00 pm and we're closed for a few days for the holiday so I was thrilled. Got me a new tire and found out I only had to pay $10.00 due to the warranty I got there a year back. I come in yesterday; pick out the tires I want and was told they would be delivered today. I arrive for my appointment early as asked and...wait for it...NO TIRE DELIVERY. I wont be back. Well, I guess I lied. Let me explain. After my initial post, I recieved a phone call from the owner apologizing and wanting to make things right. I came in the next day, dropped my car off (early) and tires, rotation and alignment were completed. You can tell that this shop is big enough for a lot of business but not too big that they forgot where they came from and what sustains their business - customer satisfaction. I have to respect that. Only one tire was flat but I bought two; they forgot to put the extra tire in the trunk (3 stars). When I get my tire on Tuesday they'll be upgraded to 4 stars. Man, talk about redeeming oneself!! Tire Pros went ABOVE and BEYOND. Any and all tire repair will be done at Tire Pros. I suggest you do the same.

Been coming here since 2012. Always the best service, prices, and everyone there is the nicest. No complaints about anything. Even as I move further and further away - Howard County, Anne Arundel County - I keep dealing with the Montgomery County BS traffic to get tires and service. Worth it. Also... they're nice to my dog. An easy way to get on anyone's good side.

They're quick (done in about 1 hour), prices competitive, and very convenient (I can walk there). But, they seem very quick to push "you need 4 new tires", even when I went in expecting just to repair 1 nail hole in the tread (or maybe replace just 1 pair if that hole couldn't be plugged). Of course, I'm not in a good position to check the treads by this point or get second opinions. So, it leaves me wondering if I just got jipped.
