I brought my vehicle in on a Saturday because of front-end vibration at highway speeds and when braking. I requested tire balance and rotation and that any other source of vibration be explored. Was told tires were out of balance, and problem corrected. The following Monday while driving home from work, car started vibrating violently and smoking from right front wheel. I stopped by the roadside and let the brakes cool and then drove back to Mr. Tire at low speed. Was later told that the right-front caliper had frozen and damaged the pads and rotor. Also my brake lines had "partially collapsed". Recommended replacement of front brakes at total cost of $1,200! I felt trapped into having the service done because I needed the car to get to work the next day. I just felt that the problem should have been spotted on Saturday during my initial visit.

It is my first time visiting this location and we couldn’t have had a better experience. I was on the road, moving across country, and didn’t make it too far out of Baltimore when we realized there was a nail in one of the tires. I called around 6:40 (before the shop officially opened, hopeful someone was in) and thankfully Mike answered. I told him the situation and he said he could get the car in right at 7am. We quickly heading there and by 7:10 they had identified the issue and got the new tire on. Although the flat tire set us back a couple hours, with Mike and his team’s help, we were back on the road in no time. Thank you so much, you’re a lifesaver!

I took a newly purchased 2005 Toyota Cary from Virginia with 52000 miles over a week ago for Md. State Inspection. A couple of hours later I received a call that the rack and pinion steering and front strut was leaking at a cost of $1500. I should have known that was coming. I got the car out of there .A nearby garage had told me that Mr. Tire would find something and bring it to him for a cheaper rate on the repairs. However I took it to another place that did inspection and it went right through with no problems. Upon later confrontation with Mr .Tire two people there couldn't agree on the nature of the leak. One said there was a puddle. The other said you had to look very close to see it. And of course the manager will tell you that his mechanics are the greatest in the world and others don't know what they're doing. DUH! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you're looking for someone to FIND something for you to spend a lot of money on!!!!!!!

Buyer beware at Airy's Mr Tire! My son hit some debris on the highway that damaged his front left tire and it was beyond repair. He was on his way home and stopped at Mt Airy's Mr. Tire and bought a new tire. After a couple of weeks he noticed the tire was low and added air. He's busy working long hours so he continued filling it weekly and driving it with the slow leak. We replaced the valve in the valve stem and that didn't work. Finally we took it off the car this weekend to have a look and immediately saw that it had a plug in a new tire!!! Of course this is where the leak was so we pulled the plug out and put in a new one and so far so good. This a double hit on Mt Airy Mr Tire: First, it's a local shop that you'd think would have the integrity to serve the community they do business in, but they knowingly sold a tire as new that actually was used and had a plug in it - you could say that is criminal. 2nd, when they plugged the tire before selling it to us and they weren't even competent enough to plug it right and verify it wasn't leaking. We would have gone up there and confronted them but with the elapsed time and we didn't keep the receipt so you know how that conversation would have gone. Live and learn, not all tire shops out there are reputable, back in 2016 another local Mt Airy tire shops had several employees busted for selling heroin on the job (google mt airy tire shop heroin arrest). You just don't know who you're doing business with these days. We usually use our car dealership (Shockley) for all repairs and tires, they've always been trustworthy and if something isn't right they'll make it right.

I scheduled a MD State Inspection with the Mt. Airy, MD location. The inspection failed due to dark glazing on the two front windows (originally installed in Florida but not acceptable in MD). I was able to remove the glazing from one window but not able to completely remove from the other window. After returning the vehicle back to Mr. Tire for a follow up inspection, the original technician (Dean Grimes) took 30 minutes of his time (not scheduled) to remove the remaining tint from the window (at no extra charge) so the vehicle would pass inspection. His extra effort was not requested or expected. Ii even offered Mr. Grimes a $20 tip for his kindness -- he refused. Wow, you just don't see that kind of customer service any more -- very impressive. Thanks Mr. Grimes and I'll return to this store for my next set of tires because of the extra mile Dean took helping me complete the inspection. I recently went to the Mr. Tire auto center #693 for a state inspection. The cost of the state inspection was 29.95 including labor, which for the area is a good price. Although, after I recived the invoice for the 128.19 to replace 4 light bulbs and inspection. I feel that I was taken advantage of by this store. The store called and told my car needed 4 blubs to pass inspection, however they did not inform me of the price before I gave them the go ahead. They charged me $10 a bulb each and $10 for labor each, Totaling $80. You think with such an ridiculous amount of money the staff would verify that the amount with the customer? I feel disgusted, this is why people hate going to mechanics. I feel wronged as a customer.

Impressed with the service at the Norland Avenue location. I got two tires a few months ago, choosing what I wanted online, and got the latest model that just came out. Went in today to replace the other two tires and alignment. They showed me how much the alignment was off before correcting it. I also got a paper showing the before and after alignment m . Visited Mr. Tire at Four Mile Run on Sat., Dec. 1st for the first time. Had all of my tires rotated and balanced. Worked with James & Hendrix (Jimmy Hendrix duo) who had stellar customer service. It was quick, professional, seamless & honest. Was very impressed. Went to another Mr. Tire location the day before where they tried to rip me off. Gave me an estimate of over $1100 for the same job. I was able to make an appointment for an oil change easily the day before. The technician, Hendrix, got to my car quickly and completed it quickly. Additional services were done with my consent and were requested respectfully. I was notified when the service was completed. Additionally, I was not pressured to buy or fix items that "needed" it. It was a very pleasant experience. Their hours are very accessible. The location is next to the DMV, so the parking lot can be difficult to navigate on a Saturday. We have taken all our cars here.

Amazing service every single time I take a vehicle to this Mr Tire. The Store Manager Alan, is by far one of the best and most polite I've ever dealt with. Absolutely would recommend MR Tire on Williamson Rd! I stopped at Subaru dealership to see if they could check a reoccurring low tire pressure warning on my Outback and was told they couldn’t look at it until the next day. They suggested I try near by places. Stopped at Star City and couldn’t be seen for 5 days. Went immediately to Mr Tire and although Don Linkous was swamped he said I could come back in a few hours and he’d fit me in if I didn’t want to wait. He was ready for my car as soon as I arrived and it turned out that I actually had a screw in my tire!!! Pressure had been low for a week already but my husband had topped it up at home. I knew something was up when pressure was reading low again after only a few days. So thankful Don took the time to make sure I was safe and get me back on the road the same day!!! ABSOLUTELY would go there again! I highly recommend them !!!!!

I brought my car to Curry's for years - 5 years to be exact. They were quick with excellent service. I have had numerous recent incidents since I brought my car to Mr. tire. First, being that I left my car keys in the drop box and called to let them know the next morning. Come 2pm, I have not received a call. I then learned by calling that they had not checked the drop box yet. Most recently, I brought my car in for a state inspection in which they told e I needed $2K in repairs and failed my state inspection. WELL, I brought my car in for a second opinion at another place I used to go to and they said I should come in and see the car for myself as the "oil spill" I was told I had looked Very Fresh + looked as if someone just put oil on. IF this was a reoccurring issue there would be rusting etc. Turns out - Did NOT need the $2k in repairs and my I now have my state inspection. Will not be returning to Mr. Tire again.

I just picked up my truck today after having to replace all four tires. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable aside from keeping me informed of what I needed without pushing me to buy anything unnecessary. The service was fast and the quality of their work was great. Store manager Gary is extremely rude. He will shout at customers when they inquire about the service. While making appointment on phone, he will quote a price. But when you go to dropoff the car in the store and confirms the price, he will say a higher price for the same service. Before picking up my car last time, I asked them if they had check tire pressure, they say yes. Next day, my car had flat tire. And when I went to another mechanic for flat tire repair, he mentioned that looking at other tires...it seems the air was not filled. Now this create doubt if the service that I gave my car for was even done properly. Not recommended!

So I did the research, bought 2 of the best tires (not sold by Mr. Tire)that fit my (gift for my sister) needs, used the link from Tire City and had the tires shipped to the Mr. Tire nearest me to be installed. I read the reviews (*had some reservation) of this Outlet and gave SPECIFIC instructions on installing them on the front of a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CAR. I also messaged my sister to follow these instructions and make an appointment that worked for her. DESPITE all of this, they got it wrong! Put the winter traction set on the rear. Sold her 2 more she did not need! (yet), and put, (I have no ideal what), some non matched tire, on the front.* reviews said they would over sell and not provide good service! Really Mr. Tire. I will not return.

My recommendation for travelers passing through our hotel. Truly hassle free as they say in the slogan. Good guys who helped me out during my road emergency. Unfortunately my tire wasn't in stock, so I planned to spend the morning at the tire shop. When they realized that I didn't have a choice but to wait until possibly the afternoon, they offered to send out a tech to pick up the tire from the warehouse. Shaved off about three hours wait time. They didn't need to do it, but they went out of their way for customer satisfaction.

I've been coming to Mr. Tire on 280 U.S. Highway 1 in Edison, NJ for a couple of years now ever since I had some repair issues & experienced some serious attitude problems with some of the employees at PepBoys, also in Edison. I usually come in for oil change, tire rotation, & any other mechanical problems I have. I have not once been disappointed! Employees here have always been very helpful & very honest. They will not try to mislead you in any way. If you think there is something wrong with the car, they will be honest with you. I like their warranty policy on tires. I've had several of my tires replaced at Mr. Tire since I work in a neighborhood where the roads are in very poor condition, I've had a lot of tire problems (as many as 5 flat tires in 1 year). Yes, it's crazy I know! I have pretty much become an expert in handling flat tire problems, although I don't change them myself. I take the car to Mr. Tire! The very first time I came to Mr. Tire is when I showed up announced (without an appointment or calling them first) close to closing time, because my tire was flat. I was trying to just get home, but I ended up at this location in Edison. They took care of my tire right away. I also had some brake light issues & I also took my car to them as well.. My most recent problem, was my plastic cover which came off the belly of the vehicle close to the rear tires. I showed up in their driveway after calling them & they fixed it, no charge! I highly recommend Mr. Tire at this location! I can't speak for other locations because this is the only one I've gone to since it is conveniently located close to my house & if there is a problem, I can just drop it off & walk home if I need to.

Needed to get tires asap on a friend's car for a trip and they found the tires at another shop and picked them up for me and when you i couldn't get there until 5 minutes before close the guys still stayed to get the work done for me.. was so grateful.. frankie was also super patient with my kids who were running around the empty shop/waiting area while we waited.... getting 4 stars because it did take 45 minutes to change 2 tires which i didn't realize it would take that long and honestly BE CAREFUL because i thought i was coming in to pay $90 ($39/tire plus trashing the old tires) and when i was asked if i want to add the warranty on the tires, i asked what that would make my total and was told $198! I asked what my total was before the warranty and he said $168?!?! When i asked why if the tires i was told were $39/tire and he said it was because of install and balance... that is apparently NOT included in the pricing.

I could not recommend this place more or speak highly enough of Mr. Tire in Edison and the great team there. I know quite a bit about cars and do all my own work with the exceptions of operations requiring specific machines (alignments, tire install w/ balancing etc.), that said i love these guys! Gary and the crew do great work and take pride in their work. The most important thing to look for, and the hardest to find when looking for auto mechanic is honesty, I have NEVER even gotten even a comment out of them insinuating there is something wrong that was actually fine. These guys do the work that needs to be done and that's it. They treat everyone with the same respect. I purchased a set of Yokohama tires for my Xterra here and they let me know i needed to replace my wheel bearings and they waited to do the alignment until I had gone home and taken care of the bearings, they did great work at a great price. In terms if price they are great! I just made a mistake and found what I thought was a great deal for tires on tire rack for my Titan and I purchased them and had them sent to Gary at Mr. Tire because I trust them for the install. Gary gave me a call and told me he could beat the price but unfortunately it was too late because they had already shipped. But I will never make that mistake again, checking with Gary first from now on and will be back there before next winter with my girlfriends Altima. Gary tells you what you need and nothing more, after dealing with liars and scam artists for years and me luckily being knowledgeable enough to notice it feels great to finally let my guard down and trust a shop! New equipment and can do much more then just tires, give them a call mo matter what you need done and see what they say first! you wont regret it!

Brought my wife's Lexus RX350 to the dealership in Edison and they wanted $1100 for front and rear pads and rotors. Called up Mr Tire and they offered to put it on the lift as a walk in with no appointment to examine the brakes for free. They brought me into the shop to show me the wear on the rotors and the thickness of the pads. Priced out new brakes with ceramic pads (including lifetime warranty) and had me out the door in an hour or so for less than half of what Lexus quoted me. Highly recommended!

I always have a nice experience when I have to visit Mr. Tire. I never feel taken advantage of, I'm never harassed to utilize other services and I don't feel pressure if I say, "no" to anything, either. They are always very friendly and helpful and can answer all my questions. My first experience there was for an oil change and I also requested them to check and replace my air filter. Instead of taking advantage of me and just replacing and charging me for an air filter, they brought my air filter out to me along with a new one, to compare and told me that I didn't really need one yet. That was when I started trusting them! The honestly and reliability has been consistent over the years. From basic oil changes to a last minute, 6pm emergency need of a tire valve being fixed to my recent state inspection, all positive experiences. The Manager Alan and Assistant Manager, Chris were so pleasant and helpful when I came in today. I had some questions about coupons and they were able to help me out and apply the discounts without question. All the guys there are great and super easy to work with. I highly recommend them! They provide the same service you'd expect from a small privately owned mechanic; humble, reliable, quick and great service which is very difficult to find these days when it comes to franchises!

Pretty satisfied with the service, but be sure to get tire warranties in writing prior to purchase. My newly purchased tires mysteriously lost 5000 miles between the estimate when I dropped off my car and when I payed the bill the next day. Probably an innocent mistake, but I did consider warranty when deciding to go for the more expensive tires.

I got a flat on Tuesday driving home and a friend recommended Mr. Tire for replacements. I made one online the following day and stopped in to go over all the details. Come to find out I needed much more work done on my car than just rear replacement tires, which was already an unexpected cost. The kindness, patience and thoughtful attitude we were met with from Nick was beyond what I'd expect from a repair shop. He helped us work thru what parts we would need and how long it would take to get everything and the work completed, working in deals when he was able to bring down our overall cost.I had both of my children with me and as wild as they were in the show room, he never flinched. The work was completed within one day and my car is driving great and I feel safe again. While we didn't expect to put this much work or money into this car, I'm so glad we chose Mr. Tire in Mount Airy to have it done. They have easily gained a return customer!!

Brought car to have tire repaired under the road hazard warranty, and have tires rotated. Not only did they not repair the tire but they didn’t even rotate them. So in the interim my daughter drove the car a short distance on the flat causing the inside of the tire considerable damage. I had them refund my road hazard insurance. I am now at Walmart buying a tire to replace my brand new tire from Mr. Tire. Pitiful, called the manager Mike who had nothing to say about my miserable experience. I don't know what's up with the other reviews here, but I had a horrible day. My 2014 Camaro had a hole in the rear passenger side tire. I came with the tire with my parents and the employee came right out to me and asked what was wrong, took a look at the tire and fixed it within 5-8 minutes. The price wasn't a requirement, but I was appreciative for the help. We have already mounted the tire back on and it runs fine. I couldn't ask for better customer service or quick product information.

I went here recently for a flat tire that I thought was punctured, and a turn signal light that I thought was burnt out. I had to wait awhile so I got to see the two guys at the counter interact with a lot of customers in person and over the phone and I thought they were very professional and courteous to everyone. And as it turned out my tire was not damaged and the light just wasn’t making a good connection, they were both fine and I wasn’t charged for anything. Not a dime and they even pumped up my tire and put it back on the car and the spare in the trunk. I’m always a little worried about getting swindled in auto service places because I’m a woman but these guys were great.

I'm extremely positive I'm going to this place for anything I need for my vehicle. I recently went to get an oil change on my 05 Scion Tc, I was hesitant about going because my friend had stated that they are expensive and the employees are rude. I still went because the oil change was at a good price. When I went I had my check engine light and my tire light on. They checked what was wrong with my engine. It was something small that just had to be put back together, so they did it with no charge. I did not ask them to put it together, which was super sweet of them. They also let me know that something was wrong with one of my tires told me that I should get that handled before something bad happens while I'm driving.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible customer service and unreliable repairs. *All 5-star reviews on Facebook and Google may be fake and unreliable. They have a sign in this establishment that promises a $10 discount for anyone who leaves a “5 Star Review.” Of course people will do anything like leave a simple 5 star review for cheap service and free money. Beware of any positive reviews. Please PM for a full review (it doesn't fit here due to character spaces.. review is also on Facebook and Yelp). Long story short, I brought my van in to get its brakes replaced the day before. What they promised would take 1-2 hours took the full next day (9am-6pm). When they promised tax exemption the day before, they almost didn't allow it the next day when I paid. Upon receiving the van, I found there to be greasy hand marks all over the side of the van, and the van started making weird noises coming from the brakes and suspension area. The employees were very rude and unapologetic.

Hurricane WV store botched an alignment and when I returned wanted me to wait a couple hours to repair their mistake. I informed the guy at the desk I had already paid for my service and I expected to be taken care of first. He informed me I would have to wait my turn. I. Asked for a refund. The veneer dropped immediately and he was no longer polite. When informed him I would get the work done somewhere else sue in small claims court for a refund and for lost time he snarled he would get me in. Here is how you keep a customer. You apologize for you mistake. You inform him you will handle the problem right away and ask if you can do anything else to make it right. What’s the odds I spend another penny there. 0. Dropped my car off for a state inspection. Get a call saying that they’re having issues getting some bolts off of one of the wheels and are afraid of stripping them. Told them it’s fine and to replace the bolts if needed. Then I get a call half an hour later letting me know that the charge is gonna be $163 for labor and parts??? When I arrive at the store to discuss what I’m being charged for, I’m informed that they had to take the hub assembly apart and a bearing off and reassemble all of it and that I’m being charged for two hours of labor. My car had been there for an hour at this point for a state inspection. Since when do you have to pull all that off to replace to bolts to wheel for an inspection? Then I’m told my car won’t be ready to go for another two and a half to three hours. I tell the manager I’m leaving my car there and my husband will call to deal with it. Husband stops by the shop on his way home. Magically, my ABS sensor is messed up because of something they did but they’re going to fix it at their own expense? Something obviously doesn’t add up. If you’re going to try to screw someone for money, say the tread on their tires is bad or at least try not to be so obvious about screwing a customer over. My car won’t be ready until tomorrow. Won’t ever have our business again.

I had a horrible experience here! I brought my car to them 5 times to fix it. The first time was the brake pads needed changing, then I had a grinding noise in my brakes and they changed my rotors. However, I thought the grinding noise was fixed until it came back and I went back to them another 3 times and they couldn't really tell me what was wrong with my car. The manager assumed it was front right wheel bearing and then I brought it back again and they kept saying they didn't hear anything when we test drove the car, but I know my car!! Come to find out it was cheap brakes they put on my car and I went to another shop and they changed them instantly!

After doing some suspension work myself and making a big mess of things, I had made an appointment with Mr. Tire and went in needing quite a bit of help. They listened to all of my concerns and addressed the major issues without once straying from the main job focus or trying to sell anything extra on top. The repairs were quick, and I drove out with none of the scrapes or bangs I had come in with. The staff are extremely polite and courteous, and I even had a brief friendly chat with the manager. Will definitely be returning for more work as it becomes necessary.

A few years ago this was a good place to go and I used them frequently. I always had my inspections done by them and wheel/tire work and they treated me just fine. The last couple times I've went they have been trying to make up sale items requirements or just gouge on prices. I took a wheel/tire in that I already removed the car that had the valve stem broken off that connects to the TPMS sensor. I just needed the tire broke down, valve stem replaced and then just a mount/balance. They first wanted to charge $17 for the valve stem that was $7.20 at Napa and then $33 for the mount/balance so it would be $50 to fix in total. Needless to say, I left and had Napa order the valve stem that I picked up this morning for $7.20 and then paid $15 for the valve stem to be swapped along with the mount & balance. If they would have told me $25 or even $30 total for the 5-10 minutes work I would have just paid... I have no problem paying a reasonable rate for work, but these guys just try to rip everyone off now and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone...

They did an alignment and oil change, which was good, and they didn’t pester me about other services to be done, but they forgot to rotate my tires on my vehicle, but other than that the service was good, and they got the right oil for my car. Only concern would be that some of the fees for repairs or maintenance can be higher than what is needed, I asked about a cabin air filter and they told me it would cost about $170, but looking online I see that I can grab one for about $10-$20, and pop it right in place so that to me would be a rip off, but other than that they did okay, I’d have to research more of what could be done on my own as opposed to paying a steep price for something so simple. Respectful workers though, no issues.

THE ONE STAR IS ONLY FOR SATURDAY 19 OCT 2019. I NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES DURING M-F I asked for a oil change & tire rotation and only received a oil change. I asked for air to be put in my tires and that was not done either. Not only did I not receive the services I asked for and given a quote on, my cell phone charger was stolen out of my car. I have been visiting this location for a couple of years and this is the first time I was unsatisfied with the service and customer service. This is first and last time I will taken my vehicles to this location on the weekend.

I went to this Mr. Tire because I had a bad experience at another shop (different business), and there were good reviews online. When I called, I asked for a price check on a full synthetic oil change and made my appointment. When I came to the register and he quoted me a lower price, I specifically asked if that was for a FULL synthetic oil change. He said yes, so I assumed he had applied a coupon or I got a discount as a new customer because he didn’t show me an itemized quote. When I got in my car afterwards, the tire pressure light was on and I went back in to have them check it. I thought they would have done that automatically like they’ve done for me at other shops, but he said they didn’t see it. The second time I went to leave, I noticed my sticker noted a conventional oil change and the wrong mileage for my next oil change. They gave me a new, corrected sticker and verified they used synthetic oil. After I finally left and drove about 20 minutes away, I noticed the new sticker said synthetic blend along with no discount on my receipt and called. They said that I had verified that I wanted a synthetic blend at the register and that I never said I wanted full synthetic oil. I drive a hybrid and have only ever used a full synthetic oil. After a few minutes of them constantly saying that I had agreed to a synthetic blend at the register (which I did not), they offered for me to come back and they would drain the synthetic blend, put in the full synthetic oil, and then charge me the difference in price. They kept saying that a synthetic blend is allowed for my vehicle, which doesn’t matter because that’s not what I use. They refused to acknowledge that I specified full synthetic oil on the phone and at the register when the price was quoted. Attention to detail and the expected level of customer service was sub-par and I will not be back.

"Editing my comments" This is the place i used to go to. i trusted those people until they tried to rip me off and they did. EVENT 1--i went there couple of days ago because my power steering hose was leaking and because of that it was making some weird sound and that's the only thing i needed to fix.i got an appointment at 10 AM, i dropped my car at the location and didn't hear back from them until 2:00 PM. so i called them.they said they didn't even touch my car and they were so rude and told me to take back my car if i want to. you said that to the regular customer after 5 hours? EVENT 2-- they came up with the solution around 4:00 PM and gave me an estimate of $743 just to change the pipe. i was really shocked because i already checked the price of the power steering hose( not PUMP) and with labor it shouldn't cost more than $400. i needed to fix it because on the same day i was heading out of the state. not sure if i will ever go to that place.

This is the second time my husband and I used this location. The first time we were happy but this time they added a $140 charge without discussing it first. It was for "miscellaneous labor" to drive and determine the noise our car was making. Our frustration with this fee is that they did not tell us it would be charged, when discussing price, and that when the car was dropped off they said they knew what the cause of the noise was immediately. When my husband called to try to discuss this with the manager he was no help. It is sad they hide things and are dishonest with their customers.

By far the best customer service i've seen in awhile. Had a flat tire while traveling back home and Google lead me to this store. It's hard to find a place that's open on Sundays and even harder to find one open early on a Sunday. I arrived before the store opened and the only person there was the manager Alan. I told him I was on a time crunch and he told me not a problem. Alan fixed my tire himself!! You don't get that kind of customer service these days. He went above and beyond for me in a time of need. I usually send my husband to get my car fixed, since I believe sometimes mechanics try to charge more when they deal with a woman. But @ Mr Tire, they treated me with respect and gave me a very good deal on the price of replacing my brakes. David was an outstanding employee and made sure I was taken care of. I got new brakes pads, rotors and an oil change and the cost was far less than some other places wanted to charge me just for the brake pads. Don’t go here if you want a quick oil change. I had a scheduled appt yesterday; they told me it would take 30-40 minutes. My car sat in the parking lot for 30 min and wasn’t even looked at - no updates from the workers that they were running behind. I finally had to go to the desk to inquire about my car and they couldn’t even give me a time frame of when the oil change would be done. Unfortunately, I had another appointment and had to leave. No one apologized and didn’t seem to care that my afternoon was wasted.

VERY SICK, EVIL, GREEDY PEOPLE WORK HERE THAT PUT MY LOVED ONES (INCLUDING CHILDREN!!!) & I's LIFE IN DANGER!!!!! My breaks had just began to get old, so I had them checked out. The staff purposely left my car loosely back together, to where my breaks were falling and clunking against my tire. This is extremely dangerous as I could not drive over 35mph or break heavily without the possibility of my breaks FALLING OFF WHILE DRIVING. I am furious that they live in such filth and sin that they would resort to carelessly murdering customers in hopes of making a few dollars. Pathetic.

This place will RIP you off. Brakes were failing on truck , they suggested I buy new brakes and fill up on brake fluid, so I took their suggestion and paid them 250.00 for repairs. Next day I'm Driving from daycare with 10yr old son and my brakes completely fail and I hit a car. 3 weeks and 10,000 dollars in damages later, I take the the truck back over to see if Don and his competent crew could help me make things right. Well they actually found out it was a brake hose that was severed from a rusty tailpipe, you wouldn't believe what happens next. They charge me 240.00 to install brake hose. Please do not have any work done at this facility if you value your safety. These people are crooks. Whoever owns this facility look in your computer database on all the work recently done on a 2008 Nissan Titan.

I have been a loyal customer for almost 5 years with mr tire. Last year., I bought 4 tires from them for which they said, they come with free tire rotation. I had done 3 free rotation with no problem. When I went for the fourth timeI had an issue with the store manager( whom I interacted with for the first time). He told me that I had to pay 25 dollars fee because my tires dont come with free tire rotation. I tried to explain to him that when I bought them I was told they come with free tire rotation and i had already done it 3 times before. He responded, all that didn't matter and the guy who sold me the tires was already fired. I had to call the corporate who confirmed the manager was wrong and ordered him to dont charge me any fees. Furthermore, when I called to set up an appointment for the next service, the manager recognized me and told me the next available appointment would about a week later.

First time going here due to an emergency and it'll be the last...Chris at the counter did a good job...but very slow service.i took 2 tires in for them to mount and balance..my normal shop...I'm in and out in 30 min.tops...this place..more then as n hour and nobody was there...a woman came in after me and she was gone way before me...nobody was around..I thought everyone went home...when my car was done the tires they put on were way under inflated..I had to put 15 lbs in them when I got home.thank god I'm only 5 miles up the road from them...next time I'll drive to my normal shop 30+ miles away..it'll be worth it.i hope this helps someone thinking about going here.

I made an appointment to have Mr Tires shop to check out my concerns . They greeted me with a smile ... and I spoke to the manager Alan . ... after checking everything over I was explained the work that I needed done .... I had just been to my dealership the week before for maintenance work . I could see myself under the car the work that needed done .. I’m not a mechanic but I definitely saw what was happening ....Alan explained to me the different concerns that needed my immediate attention and ones that could wait .... I chose to get it all done at one time . They were recommended to me by family members who by the way do not live in the Chambersburg . area they also have to drive over an hour to get there !!!! I believe that says something about this Mr. tire service center . I didn’t have anyway to go home while they worked on the car so I chose to stay there for several hours .. but I can honestly say that they kept me informed on where they were and what how much longer it would take. I will continue to use this Mr. tire service center again ... I know that there are managers and mechanics there who are doing a caring and professional job . Thank you Alan .. I wanted to do the wheel realignment and balancing before starting our long road trip from New Jersey to Orlando. They guy on the counter said, they will first check if its needed in the first place. After checking, the technician decided that the realignment is not required and they charged me a very reasonable amount for checking and the basic maintenance of the tires. They could have easily charged me full amount without doing any work. I like their fair business ethics. I would highly recommend them.

I had gotten four new tires from a Merchants and noticed a couple days later something was wrong. I made an appointment with Mr. Tire to get a second opinion because I wasn't pleased with the service at Merchant's. The guys at Mr. Tire spent an hour an half re-balancing my tires and explained what was causing the issues I was having; even taking the tires off and showing them to me. They could have just re-balanced them and sent me on my way, but they truly went above and beyond at the end of their work day to make sure everything was okay. Have been to this location numerous times in the past and had great services. Unfortunately yesterday was the complete opposite. Scheduled an appointment Thursday for my husband and I to both take out vehicles at 11:30 Saturday morning, Mind you we drive from the Smithfield side of Clayton due to previous positive experiences as well as great prices. We arrived on time and once it was looked up that we were only getting conventional oil changes with the drive card were told it would be "hours before our cars would be done" 2 people called out. The guy in front of us was quoted over $200.00 and told it would be an hour or so... I hate to jump to conclusions but it seemed if it really was that big of an issue we would have been told as soon as we walked up not after it was looked up what we were getting, what is possibly quicker than a standard oil change? Better yet. Having an appointment it would have been nice to get a call to say "Hey, we had 2 people call out. We see you have an appointment at 11:30, this is the situation, would you like to reschedule or will this be ok?" We decided to leave 1 vehicle there and were told to come back in an hour at the most and it would be ready. We returned an hour and half later to see all new vehicles in the bays that were not there when we left to be told they were it was next to be pulled in. I understand you cannot control your employees but you can control how you handle your customers. Thanks for the previous positive experiences, we will find another place that respects the time of their customers.

BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE! Called on a Friday to make an appointment for the following Tuesday. The person said to get there as early as I could so I could be out faster. Got there shortly after they opened at 7:30am. They already had my information and the list of things I wanted done or checked and we went over it.They asked me if I wanted to wait I said no since I had arranged a ride. BIG mistake. Didn't hear from them all morning so I called at 12:30 and they said there were a lot of cars ahead of mine and hadn't got to it yet.I called back at 3:40 and got the same story but was assured my car was being looked at next. Gave them until 5:50 with still no word I called again and they said OOPS we didn't put you in as a scheduled appointment, sorry! I quickly went to pick up the car and came in to see several mechanics sitting around in the office obviously SO busy they couldn't even give me an oil change in a 10 and 1/2 hour time span!!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. A bunch of liars "work" here. Thank God they're not the only place in town...

Made an appointment because I was told at 5pm they couldn’t get my tires on that day so I come back the next day for my 5 o’clock appointment and they tell me my appointment was for the day before and they won’t do them that day either. My Daughter had a screw in her tire. I took the tire off of the car and into Mr. Tire to get it fixed at 11am. I called them at 4pm and Kevin said they just finished the repair. When I went in to pick up the tire Kevin told me it would be $33.99. I told Kevin I had a coupon for a free flat repair. I handed it to him. He said that would now be $10.39. He told me that the coupon only covers Tire repair/Patch and rebalancing but I would have to pay $9.39 for mounting and balancing $.06 sales tax and $.94 shop supply fee. I guess FREE FLAT REPAIR doesn't mean totally free!!??

Fifth vehicle here getting tires. The techs checked each vehicle out, gave recommendations on each vehicle and let me know if there were any major safety issues. Any additional work was done right and they answered any questions I had. Great crew. Glad that old store manager Gary is gone.

After having vibration issues for almost 18 months and multiple shops telling me I had drive line problems in a truck that was only 4 years old. The guys at Mr Tire offered to do a road force balance and found the tires to be defective more than likely from the day they where put on. I am very thankful for their knowledge and state of the art equipment it saved me possibly thousands in unnecessary repairs. The store manager took his time and explained my options, even one of them being to return to a competitor to try and get the tire replaced under warranty. With that kind of honesty I'll be a customer for life.

I went to get estimates for four new tires. They gave me one estimate for only one type of tire. Every place else I went gave me 4-5 tire choices and estimates for all of them. In addition, they discussed with me which options were good, better, and best. Mr. Tire did none of that. How does a tire company only have one type of tire? Not good service at all.

We went in today because the oil pan cover came loose. They were able to fix it immediately and get us back on the road.
