I was searching for a new place to go to get my car serviced and I found it! Heard about this place from some neighbors in Baltimore and was glad I checked it out when I realized I was due for new tires. Gerry's Tire's team was professional over the phone when scheduling me and everything was smooth when I got there to drop my car off. I already knew I needed new wiper blades and my air filter to be changed and they were able to do this along with the new tires. Everything was completed quicker than I expected and at a very affordable/reasonable price! It's not often that I write reviews but this place was really honest and wonderful :)

I absolutely recommend the guys at Gerry's Tires. They are always quick to return calls for appointments, honest with their assessments (no sales pressure) and charge a fair price for a range of services including oil changes, tires and complicated engine repairs. They were always willing to explain issues to me in a way that I could actually understand the problem. They treat your car like one of their own. If you are looking for a Baltimore mechanic, then stop by Gerry's.

This is as good as it gets. If you live in the city, you know that you take your $$ to a small business. You build a relationship with those at those small business and take care of each other. gerry's is as neighborly, skilled, and reasonably priced. I recommend this place to all my friends to do the same. Every friend thanks me afterwards. I mean the office is nice, has good smelling candles burning and there's unlimited starburst for guests and coffee. To date I've spent probably 5 grand here over the last 8 years. Saved around as much. Please don't go here if you are rude, or think you deserve special treatment/timelines your 1st time showing up. These guys are awesome and they deserve awesome, personable/polite customers.

The reviews on this place had me calling after a Baltimore pot hole took out one of my tires. They were accommodating, super friendly, and the service was fast and exceptional. I had no idea where to go with my donut and flat tire, but this was the place. I will definitely go back if I run into an emergency. Well done!

Jon and Frank were both very helpful and straightforward. In fact, Jon suggested from the 2 tires I was looking at, one that was slightly lower in price, as it was just a better value with a longer warranty. They came highly recommended to me, and so this was my first time there, but I will be back for my other cars, very pleased with everything.

These guys are awesome! Got my tires done here about a month ago and am getting an oil change as I type this. The guy comes in and asked me if I wanted to get my tires rotated remembering that they put new tires on awhile back. They are very honest and have the best customer service in downtown Baltimore. I won't go anywhere else.

I had a great experience there! I got a nail in my tire and I was an hour from home. I saw that Gerry’s Tire Service was 5 mins away from where I was and gave them a call. Amazing customer service from the book keeper, Frank. He was patient with me and answered any questions I had. Wayne, the mechanic in charge of fixing the tire was great as well. A bonus is the facility is very clean (including the restroom) with a welcoming environment.

This is not a customer service complaint. I spoke directly to the owner most of the time and he was pleasant. However, the owner was not the person who actually did the work. I went in for a tire change. Bought a new one. As soon as I got to 83 and drove above 25mph, my entire vehicle started to tremble. I feared for my life. I pulled over, checked my engine, checked all the other tires because the last thing I imagined was that my new tire was the problem. The tire pressure was fine. Turns out, ALL FIVE of my lug nuts were loose to the touch. I jacked my car up myself and tightened them manually. I have other work that needs to be done to my car and I really wish I could use this place because everyone was so nice... But ultimately, my life is in their hands really... And I'd never use them again. They did take a second look the next day and tightened them to their official specifications. Im glad Im safe and no one was hurt. Would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.

You can trust these guys. Came in to get my brakes changed. They could've easily changed front and back, but instead told me I still had time on the front brakes. Great prices also. Bought new tires a few months ago. Afterwards, checked online and saw they charged me less than some of the discount websites with great service and convenient onsite installation included. Summary: Honest, knowledgable, fast, cheap, no nonsense.

Historically, I have had horrible experiences with auto mechanics. So, I am usually very critical of auto service and work. I have taken my car to Gerry's on 3 different occasions (tires, brakes, and emissions failure inspection) and I have nothing but the highest respect for them. Can always get my car worked on within 4 days, excellent service and prices. My car is a Volvo and my Check Engine light was on, and they ran a test that indicated my car needed specialized work. They didn't even charge me for the code resets and gave me a referral to a shop that could perform the specialized work. Highly recommend you take your car to this place....it's tough to find honesty in this industry.

After contacting larger tire dealers with national ads for discounts, such as buy 3 get 1 free, I realized they were all still priced the same and the deals weren't quite 'real'. I did another online search and stumbled upon Gerry's. After reading a few reviews I called Gerry's, liked what I heard, and was able to bring in my van within the hour, as well as get it back with great timing. It was a pleasant experience, a savings over the other establishments, and I will definitely refer others to Gerry's Tire Services.

Needed (2) tires & brakes all around. The service was speedy, the cost was much lower than a dealership, and guys have a great personality! Had a slight issue after with steering wheel shake and Terry took care of it right away. Oh, and the Circulator drops you off a block away. Much easy than going close to home and waiting for your car to be done.

I can't speak highly enough of this place. So much so that as soon as I left I wanted to write a review - and I never write reviews. I left for work and found I had a flat tire. Very frustrating considering I took it to a different mechanic the previous week and everything checked out ok. Took my car into Gerry's with no appointment. They were super accommodating, helpful and upfront - which I very much appreciated. I was in and out in about an hour. Worked on my laptop, connected to their free guest wifi. The prices are beyond reasonable and no pressure to have a service done that you don't want or need. Bottom line... these guys rule.

Bit pricey($30)(which seemed arbitrary since the desk clerk had to ask the owner 3 times what price to charge) and a long wait (2 hr) for a very simple tire patch but the people were nice enough and they got it done right the first time.

People with attitude answer the phone. The guy named John was extremely rude. Tires are overpriced. Others like Firestone install same tires for less. You can't run a business by being rude.

Great place to have nearby- they have done a number of things for us- started with a flat tire repair, they they fixed my gas tank door for free (which was awesome because it not opening and I was nearly empty!). My husband had new tires, oil change, and new rearview mirror for a very reasonable price. We will be using them as much as possible for as long as we live in the area.

Friendly & fast with a fair price. We didn't discuss price at all before the work was done. I let that go on purpose, knowing what I wanted, but curious to see if they'd be fair. They were, and I will be going back for any future tire needs! If you know nothing about tires and want to be taken care of without being taken, this is your shop.

I was in Baltimore on business and got a flat tire. I googled for the nearest tire shop location to make sure it was an ok place to go. It was so neat and clean inside and outside of this shop, I was so impressed, cleanest auto/tire repair shop that I have ever seen. Everyone was very friendly and they fixed my tire as soon as they were done with their lunch break. $25 and I was out the door. Great service and a great price. Highly recommend this shop!

Amazing business! I went there in the spring for all new tires (after 2 glowing reviews from friends), and was shocked by the speedy service and price. We made an appointment, dropped the car off after hours the night before they said they would work on it, and by 11am, the car was ready to be picked up. Last week, after not being happy with where I had previously taken my car for oil changes, we called and asked if they did those as well....again we were given an appointment, dropped it off after hours, and called at 6:55am to get an estimate on when it would be done. We were told the car was already done and by 8am, we had picked it up, cheaper than I was used to paying, and with a tire rotation to boot! I will forever use this place as long as I live here!

Great experience! I had a slow leak in a front tire and was close to needing to replace all four tires anyways. I went into Gerry's and John did a complimentary check of my tires. He recommended replacing four tires, although he was not at all pushy with the recommendation. I'm confident that it was the smart decision. I had checked Consumer Reports to find a couple of tire options that fit my need. Gerry's had my #1 choice tire in stock, and the DOT dates were all less than 3 months old (very fresh tires). I dropped off my car in the evening and they had it done by 7:20AM the next day. Got exactly what I wanted at exactly the quoted price, all-in, which was very competitive. The staff are courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I couldn't be happier. Thanks Gerry's!

Sometimes you just need a local, trustworthy shop that goes out of their way for you and Gerry's Tire checks all those boxes. My A4 is a regular for tire and wheel issues that have cropped up since driving on Baltimore City roads; though I wish they'd invest in a road force balancer.

5 stars for their timely service when I had an emergency and needed a tire plugged within the day. 4 starts because I think their prices are a little steep at $30 for a tire plugging that I can get usually for $15-20. Offered to replace tire with off brand tire around $80-90. I replaced brand name tires months later for less than $50 each. Good Service and timely service.

These guys are the best! I drive three cars (a sedan, an SUV and a sports car) all for different purposes, at different times of the year, and have received excellent advice, service and pricing from Gerry's on every single transaction. They know automotive wheels, brakes, suspensions, tires, shocks, struts, et al. Experts in this area and also experts in knowing who to refer you to if you have another kind of problem (e.g. mechanical, structural, et al). If you give them notice, you can usually drop off by 7am and pick up by 3pm, same day. Great company and team.

The guys here are extremely nice! Just got my tire replaced -- there's been a very small leak from months now and they found it! Usually dunking a tire in a bucket of water will produce bubbles with a typical leak, but this one required soap because it was so small. They could have fixed the leak had the abrasion been on the flat part of the tread, but being on the shoulder it wasn't likely to work. I appreciated the explanation and the attempt to fix the problem a cheaper way! Anyway, great staff, quick, will definitely be coming back here

If I could give Gerry's Tire a 6-star review I would. I went to Gerry's on the recommendation of a friend (after Goodyear tried to con me into buying a set of new tires), and I was not disappointed. Their customer service is incredible. I brought in a flat tire and it was repaired in less than 2 hrs for a FRACTION of what Goodyear told me I needed to spend. Goodyear initially told me that they could not repair the flat and claimed that since I had a nail in the a another tire, I needed at minimum 2 new tires but that they recommended replacing all 4. The car is only 2 years old with less than 25k miles - there's no WAY I needed to replace all 4 tires! I didn't have enough car knowledge to dispute their claim that it could damage the car... but something about their immediate recommendation to buy an entire set of new tires was fishy. Instead, I drove the car to Gerry's Tires on Central Ave. Not only was Gerry's able to fix BOTH tires for $60, but when I told Pat what Goodyear had said, he immediately knew which location I was talking about and the name of the woman I dealt with there. It's clear that I'm not the only customer Goodyear has tried to fool. Gerry's Tire has definitely made me a loyal customer and will be the only place that we take our vehicles from now on. Every person I spoke with was incredibly helpful and polite, despite the fact I called 2 minutes before they closed and again at 6am. The prices are fair, the establishment is well kept, and it was overall a very pleasant experience. No one tried to sell me things I didn't need and they were happy to just help with what I needed (a bolt in my tire - which I thought was more serious). They could have easily said they had to replace it but didn't. I appreciate that kind of customer service. I will always bring my car here for repair. I'll also add that the service was quick!
