I'll be honest it's nothing more I hate then having to take any of my vehicles in for repairs. Most shops over charge, and the quality of the work is 50/50 chance of being done correctly. But I had a really severe electrical problem no one could fix,until I came here the service was quick they diagnosed it then called in advance and notified me of the price to continue with repairs before doing the work, I liked that. And since then I've been coming back for all my repair needs. No vehicle is to high end, and no repairs is to difficult for these guys. They truly are the best at what they do!!!

This is my first time coming here I came because most of the reviews were satisfactory. So Tuesday my car broke down & would not start, I called & they suggested I leave it overnight on wensday bc they are fully booked with customers which I was fine with. I was told scince my car is staying overnight & its first come first served that my car would be the first one fixed Thursday morning. Thursday (today) I waited for a phone call to update me on my car, no call so I decided to go in. I arrived at 12 & was told work will be done on my car at 3. I was a little frustrated but they were friendly so I waited. I waited from 12 until about 5:30 in the shop may I add to only be told they are just now working on my car taking out the fuel pump. The shop closes at 6 & I am very frustrated I was told they may have to keep it another night. I have no way to go home & already had to call out 2 days from work for my car. I had high Hope's for this place bc of some of the reviews & friendliness but this is unacceptable. ***Update*** Jeremy was able to have me out the same day...I am now satisfied with having my vehicle back up & running

This is my first & favorite choice to have my car serviced. I’ve been coming here for a few years now w/o disappointment. The first time I came was bc other places close by would only sell me a full set of tires or they were overpriced. I walked into a business with great customer svc w/Jeremy at the front. 12/26/18 - Had this shop do a state inspection done on a car due to an MVA re-title request on a thursday months ago. For some reason one of the left front caliper bolts came off the following monday and the piston got pushed out and the car lost brakes. Thank God my wife with my young child stopped safely. Conveniently it was close to this shop and I appreciate that they accomodated them same day - replaced the caliper with some cheap none oem stuff that you need to paint later because it will rust out. After they finished they said inspections only cover the front right and left rear.. not going to say the had something to do with the issue but it could have been a really bad accident due to this occurence after a safety inspection by these guys just 4 days prior. Later had this shop do alignment, install brand new rims and tires and balanced twice - could not get balance correctly. They say a road force balance machine wont do it and their machine next step down from a Hunter GSP9700 does the job all the time. No, they are not honest. Not really believing what they tell me anymore and not wanting to have this annoying vibration above 60mph, I went to a legitimate shop TODAY that does road force balancing in Chantilly, Va. - they used the Hunter GSP9700 machine and performed match mounting and road force balance. The car drives fine now, the way it is supposed to in the first place. It costs a little more but I dont care as long the job is done right. The shop staff seem to be nice people and helpful. But my validated bad experience with their service is a legitimate reason for this review. The least they can do is refund me for that tire balance which I highly doubt they will do. Very disappointing that its a tire shop and they could not get my tires balanced.. LOL UPDATE: Owner made a response saying I might have been at the wrong shop and confused with a similar name shop - yes its the one by the Harley shop where you have to wait 4+ hours with an appointment for a tire change and alignment. Got receipts and credit card statements to prove this is the right place but totally unecessary. Im done talking to these people when all they did was deflection... oh its normal that caliper piston seals just blow up out of the blue, oh someone else didnt tighten the caliper bolt, oh they are new tires and they need to be driven more - if you cant do it the second time then you just dont know how to do it at all. No way in hell I will remove this post because it is what is, a negative public review from an unsatisfactory experience.. just like the positive ones and I really hope somebody takes notice. It could have been worse with what happened to my family. Total waste of my time. Got lazy and took it to this shop for convenience.. never again. I would rather drive 45mins for an alignment and balancing to a much more skilled shop in chantilly, virginia and still be back home under 4 hours.

My car was repaired. But, It took a week to get it back. When my car was ready. One of the mechanics pointed out to Jeremy that an engine light was on. Jeremy ignored the mechanic. I pointed it out to Jeremy... he then asked the mechanic to take put the system tester to find out what was going on. Once the code came up Jeremy then tried to reset it hoping that would fix the issue. It did not. I felt this should have been addressed when it was first noticed. Secondly, If I had not brought it to Jeremy attention then nothing would have been done. They have done great work in the past.

Went to the shop and purchased 4 tired and alignment. Had to go back 3 additional times in reference to the same installments. Yes the staff is friendly, but I advise all customers to over look the work that is being done to there vehicle. My alignment was off and had to go back after my original purchase. Prior to them telling me that it was on point, once I got there and they fixed the problem 4 hours later, then my alignment was done properly. Now I have to make an additional trip because they put a different lug nut on my tire. Ppl overlook the work that is being done to your vehicle period. This tire shop does not deserve a 4.7 rating. I was going to go back but it broke down on the freeway the only thing wrong with it that auto pros said was it needed a throttle body and I left there and it had a hole in the engine

When doing the oil changes, it was reveled that you did not check the air filter and car fluids. Other establishments offer the service of checking fluids, air filter, and tire pressure. Don’t understand the lack of service! In addition, when I brought my Land Rover in to buy 2 new tires and a 4 wheel alignment, I notice that you failed to do the alignment. Note: my truck was given to you at 9:00 am and you did not complete the work until around 5 pm. (End of the Day) Once again I do not understand the lack of service.

I didn’t mind the long trip because my Mom had always said to me when you find a good auto repair shop, you stick with them. Sir Jeremy, Sir Eric and Sir Martinez have all treated me like a special person and made me feel like part of the family. The atmosphere in the waiting area is sooo comfortable and all the customers are happy to engage in conversation with you. There’s a very special energy that that kind of shop exudes! The shop is clean, no bad odors, clean restroom, outstanding workers. They really know their work. I highly recommend this shop, no matter how far you have to travel to them. This was my first time I had my new tires shipped to the store for convenience. When I called Tire Pros to schedule an appointment, they had almost immediate availability so I headed over right away. I was greeted, and waited roughly about 10 minutes before the work was started on my car. Less than an hour later, the work was completed. So far, so good! They also seem like nice guys. This was a great first time experience so I'll definitely be back to this site in the future.

I came for a state inspection and I pretty much got taken for a ride. My car had excellent brakes, but they said I needed Rotors so I was like sure. I get there to get my car and they mention that they didn't add labor. For one, the price for my rotors (and one pad) was almost twice than retail, then they tried to tack at least $150 when I came in without my father. I had him discuss the changes. At the end I did pass inspection, but I also didn't improve my car's performance at all. I probably won't recommend this place to family and friends.

The a/c stopped working in my Acadia and this place came highly recommended. I was hoping the issue was something simple like needing freon but of course it wasn't. Anyway, they fixed the issue in only 2 days, which would've been 1 but they were sent the wrong parts. My a/c is blowing nice and cold, my windows are defrosting when needed, and they even plugged my tire , (which Jiffy Lube said couldn't be done). All the staff were friendly & knowledgeable and they're now our "go-to" auto shop!

Usually I take my car to Toyota dealership but that's gotten too expensive especially for an old car so I was looking for a smaller cheaper shop. I just had them do some simple stuff to try them out they did a good job and it was cheaper than taking to the dealer. I will probably use them again. My only complaints were when I dropped off my car they didn't give me any kind of paperwork or copy of the work order to take with me? If something went wrong like the car was damaged or stolen or they did some work I didn't authorize I had no paperwork to even prove I left my car there? Later nobody called me to let me know my car was ready I had to call the next day. But I've had that problem at other shops also when they're really busy.

I've been coming to Fort Washington Tire for about 9 years now and I've never had a bad experience. The service has always been top notch and the professionalism is the best I've experienced. I refuse to go anywhere else. I have a 2016 vehicle straight off the lot and I don't even let the dealer work on it. The last thing I've gotten done here was an oil change and it took about an hour and a half in and out on a busy Monday where they were very crowded. They still took care of me in a timely manner! This business is going nowhere because everybody that leaves here only has good things to say about Jeremy and the technicians who make this business run like a well oiled machine.

Everyone I have dealt with over the years has been so nice and always very professional. They do great work in a reasonable amount of time. I have recommended this place to several friends and family over the years, because the service is outstanding. So professional and always pleasant. Jeremy is simply great, I arrived about 25 mins before opening & unlike most businesses He acknowledged My presence & quickly opened asap to accommodate a Senior citizen so She didn't have to stand up on Her cane. I wasn’t sure what to expect I was on route95 when I had tire problems and went to the nearest shop that had good reviews. Sometimes unexpected things happen and being in an unfamiliar part of MD had to take my chances. Customer Service is great, the gentleman behind the counter was very courteous and welcoming. They took great care of me without overselling. Kudos and it was all done In a little over an hour. I even got a great haircut at the barber shop across the street while I waited. So all things said, turned out to be a great day.

In other places they told me that it was impossible to do an alignment in my car because it was oxidated, and that they wont be able to move the screws, they told me that it would cost me $890 to fix it. But this guys in Tire Pros & Auto center did the impossible to help me with the problem that I had for only $90. Now I’m happy, quick service, good attention, and very good results. Very good work.
