Went to the store in Scarborough didn't really know what I was looking for other than that I had to buy a car that day. was lucky enough to have Sandy as my saleswoman she was the most patient and wonderful sales experience I've ever had. She let me try out four different cars which is usually probably more than most that we're not even the same model or type and she didn't even tell me I was crazy. In the end ended up buying the first car that I thought I wanted Bruce helped us out with that we were in and out of there once I decided what I wanted in 45 minutes the fastest car buying experience I've ever had and the most Pleasant. I will most definitely be back when I need a new car and highly recommend to anyone that I know to go buy a car there! There is something to be said for old fashioned good customer service they were closing down for the day as we were wrapping up and I did not feel rushed at all sandy even stayed after they were close to show me all the features in my nne car.

My family and I have been with Mercedes for more than 10 years and I have never experienced such horrible customer service as today. I went to Prime Motors for a maintenance check and requested a courtesy car as I have always done. I had to observe a few surgeries in Boston for school related work, so I couldn’t come back the next day to return the courtesy car. I talked to Nick at the time of dropping my car off about my situation and I told him that I needed the car for 3 days because I was going to be in Boston 7am-6pm. There is no way I can return within their business hours. Nick said that it was fine. The next day, I parked my car on the street in Boston and paid the meter. While I was parked, I got a call twice with same number, but I was not able to check because I was in the middle of observing a surgery. Afterwards, I checked my phone and had 2 missed calls with 2 text messages from Brandi Lawler (service manager) saying that my car is going to be towed, so I must move the car. There was construction and they wanted to extend the space, so they requested my car to be moved. I ran downstairs and moved the car. Everything ended well. The next day, Brandi called me and said I needed to pick up my car right now in a very unprofessional and hateful tone. I told her that I talked to Nick about the arrangement. Then, Brandi yelled at me accusing me of lying. I requested to talk to Nick and she shouted, “I am Nick’s manager and you talk to me”. I felt very disrespected. I couldn’t believe such behavior came from a Mercedes employee. Brandi threatened me saying that she is going to send my car to Boston right now and I must return the car. I told her that I do not feel comfortable of someone random driving my car for more than 100 miles. She laughed at me on the phone and said I am being shady and she thinks that there is something else going on. Did she skip the Mercedes training on customer communication? I couldn’t believe the words that I was hearing because I have never had a bad experience with Mercedes. I had to cancel the other surgeries and meetings, completely messing up my schedule, and drive back to Maine. When I met her in person, I told her that I will be recording our conversation, and her attitude changed completely. She admitted that she didn’t speak to Nick. Thus, she was accusing me of lying for no reason. She basically ruined my day, made me feel awful for no reason. I do not deserve to be ridiculed and yelled by a Mercedes “service” manager and I am only writing this because no one else deserves such poor treatment. No one deserves such disrespect at Mercedes. She really is not a good fit for Mercedes and as a SERVICE manager. I am adding to this review because manager of Prime Motors called me twice wanting to either edit the review or take it down. He also accused me of lying when there was a misunderstanding. He is not willing to listen to me at all, so I will write the exact situation so that hopefully there is no more misunderstanding. - The next day when Brandi called me, I was seeing my patient from 7:30am-12:15pm. I had an important exam at 1pm and had to run to Tufts in Boston by 3pm. So my schedule was very tight and I needed to study from 12:15pm-1pm for my 1pm exam. This exam was very important for me, so I did not want to spare even 5 mins to walk outside and have the Prime motors people come drop my car off. Brandi called me at around 12:20pm and she said she wants the car today. I told her that I am in Boston today, and I do not have time today at all to return. Brandi said she will send someone to take the car. However, as you can see on above, I did not have time at all to even step outside and get the car. The manager is accusing me of lying right now that I told them that I am in Boston. He is totally misunderstanding and he does not want to listen to my explanation as to where he got that misunderstanding from. I really hope they stop calling me yelling at me and ruin my day.

I broke down on 95S on a Saturday. They fixed it Monday in three hours under warranty for nothing. Good thing too as the tow, motel and rental car were over $1000.00 Update: It seem I was in such a hurry when I picked up the RV I left the set of keys they had. I called, they had them and are sending them to me. Great people!

I feel bad because this is a super delayed post. We bought a 2019 Highlander XLE from Mike P in February. To be honest, we had never been to the Mercedes dealership and we weren’t sure what to expect but everyone there was fantastic. Definitely a different (higher/better) caliber of service. They didn’t even bat an eye at us not buying a Mercedes. They were super helpful and talked through all the options for us. They were very fair on our trade-in as well. I was very excited to learn that for our next vehicle we can still call Mike P., even if were not buying a Mercedes— he said he’s happy to help us find whatever we are looking for. Whether you are buying a Mercedes or Toyota (or whatever you’re interested in) check in with Prime Motor Cars first. All the sales reps are great, but we highly recommend Mike P.

I had problems with vibration in the vehicle dealer Road balanced all the tires still had a vibration and can’t explain it? Dealer did recall in missions control update fuel economy went down to miles to the gallon. Mileage came back up after two tanks but to burn off is still more frequent.

The people at Prime were all courteous and helpful. They answered my questions. My appointment for service was at 2:00 PM and I was told it would take 2 hours. I finally got my car back at 4:55 PM. I was told there were no surprises in the servicing.

I have always been treated with respect, fairness, and honesty at The Scarborough Prime service department. I purchased an Airstream Interstate two years ago from them. This is a costly, complicated machine! I did my part to learn all I can about the systems, and when several annoying defects seemed unsolvable, the dynamic duo of advisor Tony and technician Mitchell patiently and thoroughly solved the problems. In fact, Mitchell regularly takes the time to give me any practice/education I need on how to get the most out of the vehicle. Without them, I would have given up on our dream of retirement road trips across this great country. Shows just how important it is for a dealership to not just sell vehicles, but to support their enjoyment after the sale!!!!

My experience with Sandy Tholl was superb. I consider her a friend. She was incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the car I eventually bought and was equally knowledgeable about every other car on the lot! Because of this, Sandy was able to compare and contrast how the different cars fit my needs and which would be the best one for me. Sandy was also accommodating of my busy schedule and similarly made me feel a welcomed member of the Mercedes well managed Prime Motors in Scarborough. Because of who she is, her integrity, kindness, astuteness, wisdom, sound judgement and knowledge, I was able to make decisions with surety. After I purchased my car, Sandy continued to assist me in learning about the many features, which I continue to appreciate.

Our Mercedes-Benz GLS had an issue while we were on vacation. We were due to continue on to our next destination the following morning, when our car broke down. Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance and Prime Motorcars went above and beyond to get us back on the road, with very little downtime. The staff was very accommodating, and made sure we were taken care of.

I brought my daughter's 2008 Smart Car in for maintenance and though it was a longer drive to Prime, it was the nearest Smart service center for her. The service advisors, Katie who I had on 6/14 for initial visit and then Muhammad on 6/16 were very professional and informative with what work needed to be done, as well as pointing out other issues and the service advisors were attentative and accommodating. The technician was also very helpful with explaining what the car needed. The extra drive was worth it.

Update: 7/28/18: I'm updating my 1 star review to a 3 star review. I cannot excuse the behavior of the 3 employees who treated me poorly that caused my 1 star review HOWEVER, the service manager, Brandi, gave me 5 star treatment and gave my car the service it should have had the first time around. She really was wonderful and apologized several times for what I had to go through just to get this annual maintenance done on my Smart Car. So, I will leave my old review but tell you that if you need something done for your Smart Car, ask for Brandi, as she will treat you with kindness and respect. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I feel I need to preface this by saying I own a SMART CAR, not a standard Mercedes. The reason this is important, is that apparently, if you own or are looking to own a Mercedes, this is the place to go. If you own a Smart Car, stay away from here, because they will treat you as second rate for your ENTIRE experience. I was told several times that I would receive calls about information I had inquired about regarding the annual maintenance done for my battery assurance program on the Smart Car and several times, I had to call them back because my inquiry was not responded to. I was told a call would be made to me to arrange a time to return my vehicle and instead, my husband was woken up by the car being dropped off. The inspection they did has NO paperwork and the message on my dashboard still shows that annual maintenance is required on the vehicle. I didn't originally feel it was worth my time to write a bad review, but it seems that nothing but horrible customer service has been dealt to me, simply because I am not a rich Mercedes owner. My car is a Smart car and I do not have any option of where I can take it for the annual maintenance, as Smart requires that only an AUTHORIZED DEALER can handle this, and there are no locations in New Hampshire, where I live. I really don't think my level of frustration is going to come across in this review, as I am a customer service representative myself and the level of service I have received here is appalling to me. EVERY TIME I CALL they act as if it is a waste of their time to have to speak with me. If one person was able to answer my question the FIRST time I called, I would not need to keep calling them back! At this point, the annual maintenance they just did needs to be fixed so it's no longer showing on my car that it wasn't done- and I need paperwork showing what they even did- and I can't even bring myself to call them because I'm so angry that I don't know how to get my point across without yelling. If you have a Smart Car, go somewhere else. You'll just be an inconvenience to them here.
I found a CPO E53 AMG that happened to be at Prime in Maine... it was the car I wanted and Spencer Roe and Mike Ferraro made the long distance deal as personal as possible. Spencer even created a personal video for me showing me the car up close and a virtual test drive. Thank you , both for the service before, during and after the deal.
I've had a host of issues with the service department. When I hit a curb and blew out a low profile tire, it was replaced for $600. When I went there and had another tire replaced, it was $298. When I asked why the difference, I was told, "tire prices go up and down like gas prices". I checked on that - they don't. "Oh we have to charge what Mercedes Benz America tells us to charge." Hmmmmm. Windshield wipers are $100? Really? A few weeks ago, our S550 would not start. So I went to my MB forum and was given advice - if the brake pedal won't depress, there is a very easy fix of a vacuum. The dealer may try to sell you a starter, but that is usually not the cause. So of course Prime called and said it was the starter and it would be about $1,000. I went through my research experience and the contact said he'd check with the mechanic. I called my contact again and argued my case. I finally became so irate I said, "just get it started". I called and asked for the service manager and was told she was on vacation. But I was given a phone number to call and spoke with a man who ended up shouting at me when I said I thought I was being lied to. "I am not calling you a liar, am I? Do not call my employees liars. I am not calling you a liar, am I? Never call my people liars." OK so I didn't call them liars, just that I felt I was not being told the truth. So I went through my issues list with him: 1. $600 v $298 Same price I got when I shopped around. 2. $100 wiper blade 3. Service reset all of the visuals to metric - it took 3 trips to get it fixed 4. Service did something and the clock advanced an hour and would not go back an hour. 5. I was told I needed a new tire even though I've replaced all of them and these were under six months old. 6. A few days after an oil change, I was driving to Boston and got an oil warning and it took two quarts. He promised me he'd start an investigation and that their head of service would call me after she was back from vacation. Have not heard a word. I did get a call that one of the mechanics got a slit in the tire while bringing it into the service bay and that they would replace it free. I was also offered a 15% discount. I was going through the invoice when I noticed the starter was remanufactured. Never disclosed. Brandi - the car is under Mark Anderson 8/22: I have called multiple times and left three voicemail messages for Brandi to call me back. I've heard nothing.
Customer Service representatives such as Bethany, Muhammad & Scott are completely useless at their jobs. At no point should I feel intimidated or like I 'owe them one' for doing their damn jobs. Those were literally the words out of Muhammad's mouth the last time I brought my Benz (under warranty) to the dealership. The overall goal of a customer service rep is to satisfy customers & fulfill requests to the best of their abilities. I created a new gmail just to write this review because what he said made me feel belittled. This establishment continues to provide some of the worst service in the area. Unter disappointment, BMW & Audi service reps have never made me feel this way. My next vehicle will not be a Mercedes due to these 3 bird brains & the experiences I have had at Prime. On a plus, the coffee machine doesnt make me feel like I 'owe it one' & they always have snacks which is a plus. 1 star.
Our most recent service visit was for a precaution recall on our Smart car. As this recall was still quite new, there was some confusion about how long it would actually take to accomplish. It is over an hours drive for us to Prime Motor Cars. When no loaners were available and it became apparent that the wait might be significant, our service representative, through the service manager, arranged a curtesy rental car for us free of charge! In the mean time, the technician working on our car finished the recall! A quick trip through the wash bay and we were on our way. How could you possibly ask for better service! We thought we were out of luck when our Roadtrek RV (built on a Mercedes Sprinter) broke down - the place we were initially towed to couldn’t help us, and the nearby Mercedes dealer wouldn’t take us. Then we were towed to Prime and I’m so glad we were! Not only did they fix everything in less than 24 hours, it was all covered under warranty and Tony also noticed that there was a recall for our airbags so he had those replaced as well. AND they gave our van a wash, so it was fixed and sparkling when we came to pick it up! Tony made sure to call us early enough to prevent us from having to book another night at the hotel which was so appreciated. Any time we’re in New England and need service we will happily go to Prime.

She was prepared for my visits, personable and professional. This was a refreshing change from some of the other sales persons I have dealt with over the years. So 5 stars. Overall, the dealership was similar to other dealers of this class of car and consistent with what you should expect for this level of vehicle. So 4 stars.

I was worried that they would not be able to handle my 24 ft rig but they have a special Sprinter repair bay with equipment to handle it. We did not have a good service experience. I acknowledge that we all have bad days and that is ok but when Prime reaches out and you honestly answer the follow up survey/call and no one seems to care that your experience was poor now that is a huge problem. Hard to recommend that kind of service. They had a chance at service recovery and did not take it. Now if I can just get them to stop sending trade in promotions. Not going to happen.
Scott saved me and my kids a nightmare when we blew a tire on the highway. He stayed open late, with his tech whose name I don’t know, and put on a new tire for me. We were coming home from a 6 week stay on and island and going home to Boston. Everyone was so curteous and helpful and the kids said you have great snacks!
My Benz has been in here for 2 weeks. Try getting answers from the service department! Multiple phone calls, jerk you around passing you back and forth. Horrible service for a luxury automotive group. In addition they have kept adding things to the bill and that is the only time you hear from them. If Incoild give them zero stars I would. .
My first Mercedes and it wont be my last. The car is great and dealing with Prime is just 1st class. What a great crew. On every level they were professional and courteous. My sales professional was Art Starr and after five minutes he was like an old friend.
Prime came through on a Saturday when my Battery died. While $400 for a Mercedes battery seems like a lot you’re paying for their expertise and knowledge. Mercedes puts the battery under the passenger seat so it’s notveasy to get to. I’m just glad they could do it on Saturday. Scott was great-loaner SUV and great snacks!
Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in my life! My car went in breaking fine. Even though my car is in rough shape it was never leaking fluid since I bought it in april. I left and it was leaking break fluid and hardly breaking. They wont even take the time of day to look at what now 3 different mechanics told me was their fault UPDATE:. Dan Ducette the general manager helped me get my break line fixed. Thank you Dan!

I purchased & paid off my 2014 CPO cal250 4matic Edition 1 back in October of 2016. Since that point I have used Prime Motor for required maintenance to preserve both the original warranty & CPO (Last service was back on December 2018) . During my 3 years of service, never once did I receive the customer care experienced at both Audi Stratham or Daniels BMW (Allentown PA). My car (garage kept) still under CPO warranty has the roof of the 1990s Honda Civic - Brandi Lawler 'attempted' to receive good will repair on this defective assembly part; when that claim was denied I had to push Daniel at Prime for a messily 25% discount on a $300 part.. Even after all this, Brandi told me she would help secure a repair on the roof & she would be following up with me. To date, no once has anyone at Prime reached out in regards to this claim or the fact that my CPO warranty expires on 7/10/19. This is not how you win over life long clients, especially those with roots in Portland Maine.
One of the best car buying experiences we've ever had. Sandra Tholl was our contact at Prime Motors from the first phone call we made and we are so grateful for that! She is honest, professional, personable, detail oriented and made us feel very special and well taken care of. When we are ready to buy our next car, no doubt, we will use her again. You rarely meet people like Sandra these days, she is warm, she has great manners and understands what customer service is about. I had an awesome experience at Prime. I stopped in late on a Saturday just to do a quick walk through of the lot and wound up buying a Mercedes! To be fair, I was in the market but did not think I was quite ready to buy; hadn't even decided on a make and model yet. Jerry met us in the parking lot as soon as we started walking around. He guided us through a couple different models, encouraged us to take one for a test drive and discussed the features on multiple cars. The sales experience was no pressure and extremely smooth. Well played Jerry! We were hooked. Mercedes is definitely in the luxury category price range, but as they say.....you get what you pay for. And I did. I feel good about my purchase-don't have any buyer's remorse which is always a potential when buying a car. No worrying about whether I made the right decision, whether I got the best deal, whether I should have waited or shopped around more. Everyone at Prime is really friendly and very attentive to meeting and exceeding your needs and expectations. It feels genuine and you really feel like part of the family. All of my questions have been addressed and I'm now a very proud Mercedes owner! Thank you Jerry, Rob, Bruce and all the staff at Prime.
Service was pretty good.everybody was so nice to me expect their sales manager. I have one glc300 and I considered to buy gls450. When I negotiated with sales manager , he kept asking me if I will sell car to China. To be honest, I feel offended coz I tried to buy the second same brand new car, but I was treated like a smuggler. Obviously, it was not a pleasant experience to me.

I'm on my second car from here. While the sales experience generally has been five-star, the support the last few times around weren't to my Mercedes-Benz expectations. The service folks are too harried and little things go unnoticed. I'm mainly giving them another whirl because the second car has a maintenance plan.

In February of 2016, I bought a used 2003 Mercedes 240 C Class from Jerry Lynde at Prime Motors Mercedes. He was great and I thought I got this vehicle at a very fair price. Then in November 2016, I brought in my Mercedes for transmission problems and sadly expected to learn that my vehicle was either beyond repair or that the repair bill would be astronomical. At first, I received an initial assessment from Prime that confirmed these fears, and I went on my way ready to write this off as an unfortunate life experience. Then a few days later, I received a surprising phone call from Prime Motors Service Manager, Brandi Lawler expressing great concern with my plight and asking me to bring my vehicle back in to reassess this situation. Over the next week or so Brandi had my Mercedes transmission taken apart and reassessed. She discovered that my vehicle needed less major repair, which she had done for me at no cost. During this time, she also provided me a new Mercedes as a free loaner that was much more valuable than my car. She even apologized to me when Prime needed a few more days for this repair. In my work, I deal with mostly nice people and businesses and organizations every day. I have never, however, experienced such superior service, caring and concern as I did from Brandi. To this day, this experience continues to amaze me.
My car buying experience was absolutely amazing. Sandy was extremely professional and very courteous. I experienced nothing but respect, knowledge and class! If you are in the market for a Mercedes , I cannot stress enough that this is place you need to go to. Working with Sandy was the most straightforward, lowest pressure sales experience I've been a part of to date. She was incredibly knowledgeable of all inventory on the lot, which made selecting a vehicle that much more fun and enlightening. I would highly recommend this dealership.
My third and last visit to Prime MB Twenty five years owning MB cars this dealership just doesn't get it . The organization is dysfunction from sign in to exit No communication from rep. Call leave messages Ignored That noise you heard. Its your bearings! But I don’t know if it’s covered on your warranty ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? How about an answer , you had my car 36 hours!! And you are ok with me leaving ???? What an insult. And now been sitting 40 mins. They cant find my car !!! What a joke !

I’m am so satisfied and completely impressed with the professionalism of Tina Pagano and Prime Mercedes! I have been in the car business for years and when It was my turn for someone to sell me a car, Tina stuck out in the crowd of car sales people. I applied for my CLA at least 25 different places . (Atleast) after phone call after phone call and mind you I’m busy - I popped open my email and Tina’s follow up stuck out in the crowd - a professional video giving me a test drive ( menatally ) mind you they are in Maine and I am in Missouri allowed me to take full mental ownership of my CLA - I watched the video until the day my car arrived several times - great follow up - she stayed in front of me and ask for my business in a professional and charming manor - I adore her and learned a lot from her - I appreciate the professionalism of Tina and if you want someone to treat you with respect that you deserve as a car buyer ask for her ‼️‼️

Tina was excellent. Spencer was good. I really wish that Mr. Wolf would have placed paperwork in front of me or handed it to me rather than tossing each piece in my direction. He seemed not too interested in my sale, tried to describe my electric vehicle as having three cylinders and the color as silver (it is single speed electric drive and YELLOW).
