I must say me and wife and kids are from Wisconsin and just moved here to maine well Wisconsin doesn't do inspections like they do here in maine anyways i went here to jewell tires for an oil change and the guys came back telling me everything that needed to be done to our van and how its not road safe i said okay how much to fix and what they said next will always be a blessing to our family the owner said to be honest i don't want to take your money your van isnt worth it i was like okay these are some really honest guys any other shop would have took are money i wanna thank the owner for his honesty and i also want to thank the kid who also was honest with us he had his own car on the lift this is a really trust worthy honest place god bless you guys see you soon with our newer car......

I had my son's Xterra towed in after it overheated. It turned out to be the worse case scenario: the engine was done. They were able to find one and install it on time and under the estimate. While the vehicle was it the shop they even offered us a loaner. I'll definitely be going back.

Before I had a one star review for this facility simply because I was promised by the former management that a simple water pump was the provlemwith my car overheating, they swapped it, flushed it and the problem was still there. After taking it back I was told that they had no clue what was wrong and recommend that I take it elsewhere so I did. I paid for another flush from a different company and they flushed out a lot of gunk from the system which for some reason jewel couldn't. The problem was gone after that. That being said. I have changed my review after management has changed and I brought my car in without an appointment after it needed some work done and they were the only ones who had the time. They were professional, they communicated everything they were doing with me and even provided a loaner so that I wouldn't miss work. Would I give a 5 star? Probably if I wasn't hinted about changing my 1 star review at the time I brought my car in. Overall, I would recommend Jewel Tire to everyone as they have ramped up their service, they are quick, inexpensive, and one of my favorites is they are open on Saturday!

Service was good. Work by them was done as quick as possible, the parts stores being the only glitch. It was nice to go to a town I’d never been in and find what you hope to find for help and service. They came recommended by friends in the area and I was pleased. Would use them again and recommend Jewel Tire to anyone.

I filled out an online quote and asked for Bob to call when he could. The next morning he called first thing. I needed two tires put on my vehicle ASAP. Jewell had them in stock and got me right in. Have bought several sets of tires from Jewell tire and always been treated great. I'll be back for more.

RIP OFF. BEWARE I believed when they told me I was missing some bolts needed to do the alignment. Duh...the vehicle wold not of performed if they were not there. They charged me $41 for bolts and $73 for labor to change bolts.

First visit: I purchased 4 studded snow tires from Jewell Tire. From start to finish everything went great. We have been very satisfied with the tire performance too! On a second visit, I had a tire pressure warning light on. The tech found a slow leak and fixed it. Once again, very satisfied with the crew at Jewell Tire.

Jewell Tire has become my go-too place for all things tires and then some. Their staff is incredibly courteous, fast, and professional. One time I needed an old trailer tire put back on a rim. They did it at no charge. Do yourself a favor and be like me and "rediscover" Jewell Tire. I say rediscover because they have been there my entire life, and I am just now seeing what a great business they are as an adult.

As they assist you with your vehicles needs you are offered a seat in the Clean comfortable, air conditioned (or heated) waiting room. There is FREE fresh coffee everyday and also available is clean well kept restroom. The technician are very knowledgeable and friendly. Not only will they talk to you about whats going on with your vehicle they will bring you out to the shop to show you. All and all, Jewell Tire Center should be your first choice for tires as well as all your other automotive needs.
