I want to express my gratitude to Alan, Todd and the entire group of mechanics at Don Foshay's, in Brunswick. I was referred to them, a few years ago, by a friend and I always received excellent service and respect. Recently, I had an oil change at another facility. They told me I had a oil pan gasket leak, which was an estimated $850 repair. OUCH! So, off to Don Foshay's I went. They inspected my vehicle and told me there was no leak there, so suggested I bring it back yesterday, for a more in depth inspection. Alan came out to tell me my car was fine, no leaks were found. Now, this is how I feel - I am not mechanically savvy and not just because I am a woman, but because I just want to drive my car and feel confident that my car won't break down. I would rather have the pros worry about it. I expressed my appreciation for their service, when Alan said that's what they are there for - customer service. I told him they go beyond the standard.They could have sold me a bill of goods and I would not have batted an eyelash. I trust them. I thanked Alan and Todd for being so honest and always taking care of my car and me. Many times, they have given me a ride to work and brought my car back to me, too. I told him I know I could go to other places, even to a Don Foshay's closer to my home, but going to the Brunswick location is like wearing a good pair of shoes - it just feels comfortable! They both laughed. Then, when my car was brought outside for me, two of the mechanics came out and one of them told me my car's engine was in great condition and he had even been the one to clean it the last time I was there. He told me if the leak was in the rear main seal it was not visible and would most likely be a few more years before it would cause me any problem. There again, the EXTRA customer service extended. You cannot put a $ value on this kind of service. It shows that the company they work for gets IT! I have worked, with the public, for over 55 years and I am well aware of what customer service should be. I asked Alan if it would be O.K. to bring in some goodies for them, but Alan said it was not necessary. I replied it is definitely necessary - for ME, to show them my appreciation. Kudos to the entire staff, at DON FOSHAY'S Discount Tire & Alignment. You've set the bar high! Thank you.

DO NOT GO HERE. I originally had high hopes for this place after reading the great reviews. I brought my Subaru in for a 4-wheel alignment at the Brunswick location 2 weeks ago. From the moment I pulled out of the shop, my clutch started slipping awfully. I went back and inquired if the guy test driving had noticed, and was told he never mentioned it. I asked to speak with him, and he wouldn't come out front. The guys at the counter claimed he noticed something, but also told me I left aggressively(this was the clutch not grabbing) and insinuated the way I drive was contributing to it. I have driven this vehicle daily for over a year and a half now with no signs of slippage. They told me it was impossible for the mechanic test driving it to have ruined it in the 1/2 mile drive, yet offered no real answers as to why I wasn't initially told about the burning clutch or how it was possible for it to give out on me in their parking lot. Between getting multiple stories and having to send multiple emails just to get some honesty, I can say these guys are highly unprofessional, untruthful, and not worth anyone's time. After waiting 2 hours for my alignment, I left driving a car that barely made the 10 minute drive home. This whole situation was sketchy. The only thing they were good at was avoiding answering my questions by telling me personal stories. They earned this awful review.

Everyone I've met here has been accommodating and educational anytime I have questions, the work is efficient and accomplished at a high standard, and the prices are as good as I've ever seen. These folks won't suggest parts or service you don't need, and they don't dawdle to take advantage of your time or wallet. I recommend them to everyone, from fellow car-lovers to people who know nothing about cars. Alan and his team have a great facility, and they go far above and beyond the call of duty. I was charged $126.00 for 2 bolts plus the labor. I went to Town Fair Tire for an alignment, but they couldn't align the rear tires because they needed 2 toe bolts. They don't do mechanical work, so I looked everywhere for them and couldn't find them, so I went to Don Foshay's figuring that it wouldn't cost too much to have a couple of bolts put on. Wrong, it cost over $200. I couldn't believe it. Update: I got a call from Charlie, who said that they made a mistake with the pricing and reimbursed me $36.00 . Thanks to everyone at Don Foshay's. Most companies wouldn't have done anything.

There was a time when I was directed to take my car to another establishment where a certain service could be performed and I saved a lot of money.when I asked why he would risk losing all that revenue he said it was’ the right thing to do’. I took my car to Foshay's Brunswick after another local tire installer said they could not align my car, as the rear suspension was "frozen". They listened to my concerns & said they'd gladly take a look at it. The technician spent well over an hour on the car, and brought the car right back into factory alignment specs ... both front AND REAR. Very attentive, and I especially liked the 3-way communication between myself, the service writer, and the alignment technician. Highly recommend Foshays Brunswick.

We've been taking our vehicles to discount tire for years. Today I was on the highway when the tire pressure light came on, 3rd time in 3weeks, the first 2times for the rear driver's side tire. Same for today, they were able to get me in quickly and they found a small piece of metal in my tire. The repaired it quickly and inexpensively. Thank you so much!
