With just a flop of the name I was able to get my brand new trailer wheels balanced. I stopped by Tire Discounters on my way home from work to see if they would balance new trailer wheels. They said they would for 39.95. I told them I would bring them by in a few minutes as I had to pick them up from my house. I left the wheels there hoping they would be done that day. The next morning at 10:30, Tire Discounters called me and said they could not balance wheels that had not been weighted before. That was their policy. Not sorry at all. So two wasted trips to Tire Discounters. So I took them by Discount Tire and they did them no problems and they even took $5 off for the hassle with Tire Discounters. Moral of the story. Just a flip flop in the name gets the job done. Take your trailer wheels to Discount Tire. I just received a call from them - done in 30 minutes.

Customer service is easy when things go right. You can really see the high level of customer service at Tire Discounters when things don't go as planned. They quickly sprang into action to correct the problem. A little later, I was taking fast turns with my new tires. Great service, competitive prices, and quality workmanship!

I visited the store to buy tires and have my oil changed. After I picked my car up, I noticed that the oil life was not reset, and the old oil change sticker was on my windshield. I asked the manager about this and he asked the technician, and he forgot to changed the oil. I did not want to wait any longer for the oil change, so I was given a gift card with "IOU an oil change" written in permanent marker on the back of the gift card. I only purchased two tires, and told them I would be back in a couple weeks to buy two more tires, and they told me I would get a free alignment ( they did not specify a time frame that the free alignment would not be done after). I returned six weeks later to buy the other two tires, and they told me the alignment would cost $100 since I purchased the tires over 4 weeks ago. I was upset, but the alignment needed to be done so I told them to do it. I also gave them the IOU gift card so they would change the oil. When I returned to pick up the car, I immediately asked for a manager to talk to about the $100 alignment fee, and the lady waiting on me told me that she did not put an alignment in the invoice because she didn't think I wanted it. Another "front counter" person got involved, and they ended up doing the alignment for free, but I again had to return a couple hours later to pick up my vehicle. Before I left, I looked at the invoice for the service. When I returned to pick up the car after the "free" alignment was done, the new invoice was fifty dollars more expensive than the original. I asked why, and they said they would fix it. While the two "front counter" employees were fixing the invoice, they told me that their computer system adds money to invoices all the time and they aren't sure why. They spoke about the issue like it was very common. To top it all off, when I finally got back into my car, the oil maintenance was not reset on my car, and there was not a new oil change sticker in the window. Can't trust this place and will not return, I suggest finding a different place for vehicle maintenance.

Very slow service. Must be in competition with drive thru McDonalds. They were to of already had the tires in stock when I checked on line before coming to the store. I get here they only had one. They said they were going to get one from another store. 2 1/2 hours later and no service has ever been done yet. Now they came from behind the counter and have no idea about the tire I wanted to begin with. Disorganized!!! Place to be for service. I would not recommend this place to nobody.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They used to be the best place in town, but now everytime they always have cars left over from the night before, so I made an appointment a week out and then they lose the appointment and can't get me in because of the cars from the night before (Always cars from the night before). Last car they aligned still pulled to the left and they didn't fix the VSA cable and said take it to the dealership when they couldn't figure it out. So here I am at Kentowery. Gave them 3 or 4 chances thinking maybe it was just a bad day, but it would seem every day is a bad day for them. Lost this customer forever.

I must admit I was a little skeptical about coming here. But something in my gut said to call. When I talked to the guy on the phone he was very knowledgeable and very confident and reassuring that they could help. I made an appointment and I'm so glad I did!! When I got there John helped me get signed in. He was friendly and prompt. I felt very welcome. They didn't take my car right away but it wasn't long before they did. I guess a few people had dropped their cars off and left because I was the only one in the lobby. John offered me the remote to the tv and I gladly accepted because I'm not a fan of soap operas.

If I could rate -5 stars I would. I took my truck in for alignment. The tech who “has been doing this for 15 years” haha (eye roll) said my ball joints were in wrong and he couldn’t do an alignment etc. I knew for a fact they weren’t and said well try anyways. 2 hours later they haven’t done a thing to my truck and wasted my time and money because I had to Uber it home when I dropped it off. I will never ever go back and I suggest you never even go the first time.

May be a reasonable place to buy tires. But their service after that is beyond sad. You can spend hundreds of dollars on new tires. And they will take care of you on the spot. But if you have a problem with one, don't every walk in the door without an appointment. Got there an hour before they closed. Nobody in the parking lot. They refused to fix a tire with slow leak. Second time there that day. You might want to try another location. This one is a pain.

Took my Jeep in for an oil change and had to take it back because it was leaking oil. TD told me my oil housing was cracked so i took it to Jeep for warranty. Jeep said TD tighten the oil filter too tight and cracked it. TD will not pay my repair bill stating there was a TSB (technician service Bulletin) from Jeep. The TSB advises technicians not to over tighten the oil filter which Tire Discounter clearly did. Now I'm stuck with a $800+ repair bill. Tire Discounter told me they would have paid for the repairs if they would have been complete at their facility. These guys can't change the oil right in a car. What makes you think I'm going to let you do a 5+ hr job on my powertain? Maybe when i get the BBB and the attorney generals office involved you will pay then! These guys are crooks! Be warned

5/09/17 Called to have 4 new tires put on my Ford Fusion at around 4pm, was told they only had 2 in stock but could get the other 2 in the morning. Tires were ordered. 5/10/17 Dropped car off at around 10am and told the sales manager that I would like to pick my car up at around 6pm (waited in store 4 hours last time I had tires done here). Manager said that would be no problem. I called at 5pm to make sure the car was ready to be picked up, was told that all my lug nuts were bad and could not be put back on. They wanted to charge me $80 for cheap lug nuts. I ended up ordering better quality McGard lug nuts (M12 X1.5) for $40. Manager told me that tires would be mounted and balanced and alignment completed and that I could bring new lug nuts in the morning and would be in and out in minutes. 5/11/17 Brought new lug nuts at 10am and was told I would have to wait 3 hours. I said I would come back and to call me when my car was ready. 5pm rolls around and still no call. Called them and was told that the lug nuts I brought didn't fit. I show up to find my car in the parking lot with new tires mounted and balanced but only held on to by 2 old lug nuts on each wheel. I then installed the new higher quality lug nuts myself in the parking lot and they fit no problem (I've used them before). They had my car for 3 days, never called me once, They don't know how to install aftermarket lug nuts, and on top of all of this they broke my door handle and refused to repair it. These people are CROOKS!

I’ve purchased no less than 3 sets of tires for various vehicles from this location over the years. Today I dropped a loose tire and rim off at 9 am. When I went to pick it up at 3 pm I explained I was there for the loose set. The gentlemen behind the counter replied with “which one we’ve done about six today”. I directed him to the place where I had personally unloaded said parts...that hadn’t been touched. Then he said they had had a lot of appointments and hadn’t been able to work mine in...but you just said you’d done six? I guess those six were stacked elsewhere and arrived before mine? I can understand being busy, even being forgotten about on a busy day, but not lied to. Visit another location.

Had my tires done here twice. Today, in a new vehicle I got something in my tire and changed it to a spare just up from the Taylorsville exit on Gene Snyder and limped into the lot a bit before 7. I waited at the counter for 10 minutes to be told they would not plug my tire, they just wanted to get out the door. Look, I hate to keep anyone late, I really do. I do not do it at restaurants and I do not do it at department stores. Honestly though, I thought for sure that seeing someone hard up and covered in road grime they would take ten minutes and plug my tire. It's okay though, Big O helped me. Even though they had technically been closed for an hour.

I purchased 4 tires from them in April. Now 4 months later I had a tire with a slow leak. I called this location to make an appointment. It took 3 tries to get someone to pick up the phone. I explained I have 2 young kids and I’m aware that their waiting area is not safe for kids. He said 11 would be a good time to come in and since it’s just a patch I’d be on my way quickly. I arrived on time for my appointment and was told that it would be at least an hour before they could even get me into a bay. I explained I made an appointment and he said “there are others ahead of you”. Since my tire had to be repaired I had no choice but stay. Since this place is not safe for young kids, we walked down a very busy road with no sidewalk to McDonald’s to get some lunch. 2 hours later I had still not received a phone call about my car so we walked back. My car wasn’t finished yet and we waited 15 more mins. Parents of kids I would find somewhere else to get tires or oils changes. There is no changing table in the restroom, there are wheels and rims hanging loosing on display. Tires all over the floor. Dangerous for kids who are curious and also bored. I tried to find a phone number to speak to corporate about my concerns and big surprise, there isn’t one. So I’m leaving my review in hopes others don’t have to deal with my family had to. as I read reviews others left I would agree, it’s not clean or timely and they just don’t seem to care.

Worst tire store I’ve ever used. Because of the location we set up an account for fleet service and have been disappointed ever since. They have a new manager or loaner manager from a different store each week. They have told us they rotated tires when they have not, messed up/ lost our account more than once including service history. I have been called twice to pick up a tire that was dropped off for repair only to see the nail still sticking out of the tire. Even though we should of parted ways long ago we stayed because of location. But today i went in to drop off a truck that has been there several times before and a snotty rude little man (CODY) told me he refused to work on it because of safety reasons? It’s a 2017 f-350 I informed him that all of our trucks are the same and they have worked on all of our trucks for 5-6 years. I let him know if he was not able to do what the store had done 100 times before i would not be bringing any business back to his store. With a childish little smirk he said good! He’s a horrible addition to an already bad situation.

Appointments are meaningless here. I called early in the morning to make a 5:15 appointment for an oil change and tire repair. I arrived at 5:00 only to be told that they would get to me as soon as possible. One hour later and one hour before closing it was clear to me that they weren't going to do anything. Don't waste your time or energy....there are too many other places with better customer service.

I've been a regular customer here since the ship opened. I've always had excellent experiences. Last time around, there was an issue with some specialized tires that I needed. I got a bit frustrated after a couple calls without answers. I talked to Dale, the shop manager, and he got me squared away in a hurry with a lot of apologies and professionalism. Not every shop is going to run right 100% of the time. The mark of a good shop isn't hitting 100% perfection, but being able to properly remedy the occasional snafu. I'll keep going back and recommend that you do as well.

Whom was also was leaving to go home.. he had us pull to the back of the bay.. jacked the trailer up and used a impact wrench to get the tire and we was on the road in minutes!!! Thank you!!! Scheduling was nice but service was hetic. I needed 1 new tire put on to replace a tire that blew out 2 days prior. I was studying for a class while waiting for my car wondering why people coming in after me were having their cars serviced while my car was still sitting in the same spot. Come to find out my car was done and they just never told me. I waited 2 hours but based on when they started servicing people who came in after me, my care was probably done for the last hour that I waited. It wasn't until my parents stopped by and noticed a new tire on my car that I went back inside again and had to ask the guy who checked me in if my car was done because it looked done. He then checked and saw it was done. Then, when I go to leave, one of the employees pulls up behind me and starts honking at me, I can only assume because I wasn't pulling out to take a left with 2 cars coming by and ice and snow all over the ground. I just got done driving around on a spare for the last 2 days, I wasn't feeling risky. This poor service will definitely stop me from coming back here next time.

They supposed to issue a refund for a battery that was under warranty I waited a month and it never happened. After calling the store to inquire about it I was hung up on. I called the regional manager and he would never return my calls. It was not until I called AMEX about the charge that they finally issued the credit. Poor management.
