The owner is friendly been in business for 40 years and actually cares about his quality of work and his employees and customers. Came from NC for a funeral here in Kentucky... ran over a nail and stoped at cooks for a patch . They do not plug but they patch for the safest way to make the most out of your tire. Above and beyond. I went in for a break job and front end alignment. No problem - but front CV joint/axles were shot - really bad (192,000 miles). First pair from auto parts store caused a vibration and pull to the right. Cook replaced them with a second pair. Vibration problem remained. Unsatisfied, they put a 3rd pair of axles on and - viola - no more shimmy, no more pull to right - the old Honda is good to go - all reasonably priced. So, I took them my old truck which the're working on as I type. Thank you Chris and Cook Tire.

We were traveling through on our way to a family vacation when we experienced some brake problems. No one else in the area (the problem started near Mt. Vernon) would make time for us - it was late on a Friday afternoon. They not only made time for us, but got us back on the road within an hour and charged us far less than they should have. On top of it all, they gave our 4 small kids ice cream while we waited. Very nice and friendly people. Their generosity made an otherwise frustrating day a happy memory.
