Received some bad gaskets from an auto parts store. Rich and the guys replaced free of charge with no issue. Always greeted with a smile, and friendly service. Have sent multiple people through the years. Everyone always tells me how awesome the experience is, and feel they've been given the best price!

After a competitor refused to work me in for a flat tire I went to Action Tire Goodyear and they said no problem and fixed me up. It's been 17 years and I've never looked back. Tim's one of the best shop owners around and has always been accommodating. Rich and Jim have been taking care of everything I've ever needed, always treated me fairly, and gone above and beyond with those difficult repairs. I think they have the best crew in the Kansas City Metro. Anytime someone asks me about car service I recommend them to go to Action Tire Goodyear.

Techs are borderline incompetent. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Goodyear should be embarrassed to have their name on building. During an alternator replacement they negligently didn't secure front upper engine cover and didn’t reinstall the hose from radiator to overflow tank. This resulted in coolant all over engine and almost overheating of engine. They really need 0 stars or even better negative stars. UPDATE: Alternator crapped out after 9 months, which took out the battery. Got fixed at my regular place, which is also a GOODYEAR and was told both the alternator and battery where cheap parts. I wish my friend( who lives local) would have told me they screwed up her car as well before I took it there, but she did not know where I went. MY advice RUN as fast as you can. Did you really think getting my review deleted would stop me???? You have yet to see my wrath.

I brought my car in for them to replace a leaking Heater Hose. They insisted on doing a pressure test, which I initially refused, until they told me they would do one pressure test before the repair and one pressure test after the repair. They obviously did not perform the pressure test they promised after the repair - more on that later. They called me about half way through the day to try to do the usual up-sell. They told me I would need to replace the Upper and Lower Radiator Hose. I told them not to touch the Upper or Lower Radiator Hose, because I knew those two hoses were fine. They obviously didn't follow my instructions, because the Upper Hose had been removed and put back, but was badly twisted when they put it back. The Upper Hose also had a leak from the way they twisted it. It's clear that they didn't perform the aforementioned pressure test after their "repair", because they didn't catch the leak they had created in the Upper Hose. Instead of letting these people touch my car again, I bought the $15 Upper Radiator Hose from an auto-parts store and did the work myself. It took about 5 minutes.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ACTION GOOD YEAR TIRES - I have never witnessed more disrespectful and quite frankly, appalling service than at this independently-owned Action Good Year Tires on Shawnee Mission Parkway in Shawnee, KS. We have only purchased tires for my daughter's car at this store - nowhere else. We purchased my college-aged daughter FOUR tires from this store - 2 from March of 2015 and the other two in January of 2016. She was recently back in Shawnee from college and complained that she was having tire issues so we made an appointment at a different Good YEar closer to our home. This new Good Year Tire store told us that the two tires that ACTION Good Year Tires put on the car 18 months previously had plenty of tread left on them but were so old that they were severely cracking and by law, they couldn't "repair" these tires so I had to buy two new tires. This means that the tires ACTION Good Year Tires sold to my young and unsuspecting daughter were over five (5) years old when they were put on the car. This obviously concerned me and her father greatly as this is a huge safety issue as old tires can literally blow or fall off of the tire rim entirely! And, we thought we had purchased NEW tires for her car - not DRIED OUT and nearly EXPIRED ones. We've all heard the news reports and know that the full life span of a tire is six years according to much research. I visited the ACTION Good Year Tires store on Monday, October 17 to try and get to the bottom of the issue. I had all of the paperwork to prove we purchased two tires there on March 3, 2015, and two more in January of 2016. I also brought the actual tires with me and a note with a business card from the manager of the other Good Year Tires store that had taken these two tires off of my daughter's car and replaced them with two new tires to prove I hadn't just picked these tires up "somewhere". I was greeted by Rich McDonald, manager of the store and no other customers were in the store at the time. Rich seemed pleasant at first but that quickly changed when he realized that my invoice didn't match up with the two bad tires removed from my daughter's car. As a reminder, we have ONLY purchased tires for my daughter's car at this ACTION Good Year store (up until last weekend). I suspect what had happened back on March 3, 2015 was ACTION Good Year Tires sold her old tires and scammed us by including a DOT number on our invoice from a newer Good Year tire with a more updated DOT number - basically erasing the evidence. Plus, these weren't even Good Year tires, they were Michelin tires. (ACTION Good Year is an independent dealer and can install any type of tire. They will order tires at a customer's request or pull tires from other tire stores if the specific sized tires needed aren't in stock at their store.) Rich was smug and completely unprofessional. He said this wasn't their fault and that they would not accept any responsibility for it. He said it was my problem and there was nothing they could/would do about it. I know that I became angry myself and I wanted to have a conversation about it but he wasn't going to engage further. I wasn't looking for a refund, I was looking for an explanation as to why they would do something like that and put my daughter's life in danger. If they've done it to her, they've done it to many other people. He laughed out loud at me and told me I could speak to the owner or take the situation to Good Year Corporate. I even called later to obtain the owner's name and Rich McDonald hung up the phone on me. My daughter's father visited the store the next day and was laughed at by Rich McDonald again. And while the owner, Tim Potter, was certainly more professional than Rich, he charged us with calling him a liar and he also claimed it was our problem. At the end of the day, we are just consumers that want our concerns to be acknowledged. Unfortunately ACTION Good Year Tires doesn't have the maturity, self respect and decency to even do that. Please don't do business with this company - we certainly won't again - EVER.

Went here to get new tires, wheels, and rims. Unfortunately the job ended up running into a snag and I was going to be left car less for the evening. Rich at Goodyear pulled around their company vehicle and let me take it home for the night so I didn't have to spend extra money. I was shocked at far they were willing to go to keep me happy. The job itself was done promptly the next morning and I am very pleased with the result. It was a little pricier than I'm really comfortable with paying, but the experience and customer service made up for the price.

Had new tires installed on my truck. They charged me for 4 new valve stems. Less than 1 week after service, two of the four pressure sensors went out. Went back in to talk to them, they said it wasn't their fault. One week after that third sensor goes out. Don't believe they actually changed any of the valve stems. Curious. Truck is only 3 years old. Prefer to buy local, but wont go back.

This is long overdue, but a few months ago I was in a jam and needed a spare for my vehicle that didn’t come with one. A friend was taking care of this for me, but last minute the deal fell through and I was about to drive all the way to Wyoming the next day. I felt really unsafe driving there without having something as backup so I went to this location and the manager (I feel terrible I forgot his name) was the nicest human in the entire world. He didn’t make me feel bad for being so last minute and really took initiative with helping me find a solution. They don’t sell spares, but he immediately got on the phone to find a wheel and tire. He got a tire shipped to his store that day and I went to pick up the wheel from a dealership that he recommended. Within a couple of hours, he called me and said he got the tire and also mounted everything and put it in my trunk. He was very generous and made sure I had roadside assistance, the knowledge of how to change a tire, and the equipment I would need to change a tire. I was blown away by his generosity and willingness to help me. Thank you so much! You made a lasting impression and made me feel confident about my trip. I will forever appreciate that!

They kept my lug lock key after rotating my tires. I updated my contact information and gave them a current number to reach me at. A week later when I bought new tires and went to have them installed at a different shop the key was not in my console where I always keep it. I called Goodyear and explained that I had been in a week earlier and was wondering if they had my key still. The response was "The white jeep?" Me "yes." Confused Goodyear "We have it right here whenever you want to come get it" So not only did they unprofessionally keep my lug key after retrieving from my console. They didn't think to call me and inform me of their mistake. Instead they let me figure it out in a situation when I obviously needed the key. I drove to the Goodyear to get my key and I received no sincere apology and in no way did they try to compensate me for the inconvenience of me having to cancel my appointment elsewhere and driving across town to retrieve my key. I strongly recommend going anywhere else but this Goodyear for your automotive needs.

This place once was a good place to take your car. I believe management changed and things went down hill. They did some work on my van and scraped the running boards on the lift. We did not notice until we arrived home. Took it immediately back and they denied the damage until I found bits of my fiberglass running boards next to the lift. They did, however, pay to have it fixed. They didn't make it easy nor were willing to be helpful until they were found to be wrong dead to rights.

Honest guys. When their first A/C fix didn't work they applied that payment to a new compressor. These guys do great work, but are not going to sock you with an expensive repair if there is another option. The main guys have been there 20+ years and that really makes you feel comfortable.

They do proper patch + plug tire repair and will let you know if the damage to the tire is too severe for a repair. Also some of the nicest people I talked to when trying to find a place that could so the inspection and repair, most places didn't have the patience for my questions but Goodyear did and were incredibly helpful (even though ultimately I had to replace the tire thru my dealership as it is an uncommon summer tire). I really can't recommend them enough!

On one occasion, when I picked up my car, the repair ended up being ~$80 less than they had estimated on the phone. They're friendly, honest & quick. Good people, great customer service!

Update: brought it down another star because we are having to get the same problem fixed that they supposedly fixed. They got me in fast to fix a leak in my hose but then overfilled my coolant. Went somewhere else to double check their work. Glad I did

Quick service didnt complete my alignment 100% and did not told me how to fix it to get it all done.

Attendees were polite and seemed knowledgeable enough on first blush. I was told that my car needed camber kits to do the alignment. This is incidentally not true. It has been aligned at other locations with its (stock and healthy) camber kit without problems. The price was horribly high as well. Over $50 to have my tires rotated. Ending thought, if you assume ignorance in lieu of malice they are not knowledgeable about vehicles and overvalue their own work.
