I went to the Goodyear in st anthony (silver Lake) last fall for tires. During winter of 2017-2018, I slid all over! I needed tires that I could rely on and be safe! Doug, the manager, found tires that I couldn't be happier with! This last winter ('18-'19), i did not slip at all! I didn't get stuck or end up in a ditch like previous winters! Thank you so much Doug! Your the best! Not only am I so pleased with the tires but I couldn't be happier with the service! Doug's "crew" was very prompt in getting the tires on. His staff take the lead from Doug. As Doug is very courteous, respectful, and pleasant. In a word, professional! I'm a customer for life! Bruce Johnson

Don't give them your business. Charge customer for a full alignment and did a horrible job. The manager himself said it that he doesn't want the customer business because they can't perform the job they charge the customer for correctly. "This is about as good as it gets" the manager himself said it. Would you guys want to pay someone to work on your vehicle and hear that from the manager? 0 star rating.

Bad Customer Service, scheduled appointment for oil change for both of my cars. First one was scheduled for 8:30 am showed up at 8:20 am, there was a walk in customer before me at the desk, he took his information and said it would be ready in 1 hour. Then he took my information and informed me the car would be ready at 9:45 am, I said I had a scheduled appointment for 8:30 am, his response we have a lot of walk in, I said, if I would of known this I would of had scheduled to drop the car off but I had an appointment , his response was "ya well". My car was completed at 9:30 am, they continued to help customer who walked into the store. I went to the counter and informed him my car was back in the lot, so can I pay for it. He said the guy in the back office was working on my paperwork. Well that guy came out at 9:45 am with my paperwork and then try to charge me $24.95 , I told him the online scheduling site said it would be $21.76. He said, your Buick Enclave takes more than 5 quarts, I informed him I had my Lexus scheduled for a 10:30 am appointment and the charge for that was 17.76 plus 2.50 disposal fee, so the $ 21.76 charge for Buick already has the additional cost of the oil in the price. Hi response, "oh they must of already added the cost of the oil in" so he then redid my invoice. This appointment was like I was putting him out by doing the oil change, why have a scheduling appointment oil change on line if you don't honor it. Needless to say, I canceled my second oil change. They have absolutely no customer service, I would list the salesman first name but on the invoice he listed it as HOUSE A. So, they know what there doing. I parked my Buick in my garage with a epoxy finished floor and now I have fresh oil on the floor I have to wipe up, when they took out the filter oil spilled out onto the frame and then never cleaned it up, so know I have to clean it. They said they did a courtesy tire inspection free...Why not just do a proper oil change. BAD PLACE OF BUSINESS...

Transitioned to this place because my Eagan Goodyear quit being a Goodyear. The guys are nice and try to make old car workable on my budget. I have many repairs to time (blech cars). Could improve on some points of communication. Parts seem way more expensive than what my brother found online.

I made an appointment for a car inspection here, through the Lyft app. When I arrived, I was told that I had no appointment, as apparently Lyft and Goodyear don't communicate. I asked the person working the front desk why I am able to make an appointment then, if Goodyear won't honor any appointments made through the Lyft app. The front desk worker told me that I'd have to take it up with Lyft, and that they were busy and he could reschedule me. I told him that I'd go elsewhere, as they were charging $5-$10 more than anywhere else. Then, when I was walking back to my car, I got a face full of another worker's smoke, since he was having a cigarette right outside the door. Horrible customer service, I will not ever come here again, no matter what I need done. Whether I need tires, alignment or whatever, I'll find another place to go.

Bad work ethics and trashy unkept store. Crooks. Caught on camera purposely taking a customers vehicle through potholes, smack talking the customer while test driving and loudly telling the customer "Don't come back." Don't know how you can give any Stars to a place like this.

I usually take my car in here to get an oil change due to the low price, but I never had a good experience with them. Whenever I do take my car in I find myself pressured by them to buy some type of up-sell. I brushed it off all this time, but I had experienced an incident with them that really pushed me towards never coming to this place again. I came in for my last oil change and complimentary vehicle inspection and got the usual up-sell routine from them. I paid them the money than drove home. Later that night I drove to class, and about 10 minutes into my drive I saw my car overheating and steam coming out of the hood. I pulled over to a gas station and popped open the hood. I saw my radiator cap was screwed off and sitting right next to the hole. I was admittedly ticked, but I turned my car off, screwed the cap back on, added some coolant to my car, then drove back home once the car was cooled down enough. I called them the next day and explained what happen, and the representative I spoke to just laughed it off. He insisted there was no way I would have been able to drive with the radiator's cap screwed off and said if I wanted to take it in to get fixed they would charge me $60 just to look at it. What the hell kind of service is that? I didn't take it in to them, I took it to a different mechanic and actually got good service. He purged the air out of the radiator and filled the coolant up, and I got it for a really fair price. I also got a confirmation from him that there was no way that cap just came right off. Someone would've had to have unscrewed it. I would not recommend coming to Goodyear for even an oil change now. The price is not worth the bad service.

I regret buying a set of 4 tires here. Have had them for less than 10,000 miles and one started a leak. I raced to the same location I bought my tires, passing other tire stores on the way. Once there the woman at the counter said they could help me. Then she goes to the service area and a guy sitting on a stool says they cannot fix a tire 30 minutes before closing. She comes back to me and says they cannot fix it because they close in 30 minutes. Outrageous. Even if I had gotten there 5 minutes before closing, they are still open, but refusing to provide services. Why be open if you cannot serve customers? Why not just close 30 minutes earlier? I now have zero use for my Goodyear Credit Card as I plan to never come back to Goodyear, not even for the free rotations. I had to go to a different tire store down the road that sells a different brand of tire. Now I have one tire that is different than the others. Total shame that I opened a credit card and started a relationship with a local Goodyear store when they obviously do not value customer relationships. The woman behind the counter became very indifferent once the man told her he didn't want to do anymore work for the day. She seemed to have zero concern over the fact that my tire was going flat and I had no spare tire. I not only buy tires for my company vehicles but also for my roadside assistance customers that need tire repair or replacement. I will continue to go to the competitor that was willing to provide service to a customer in need of help. I will be closing my Goodyear Credit Card account and will never return.

The service was mostly ok. I bought tires from these guys and had coupons for oil changes, so I took both of our vehicles in the same day. No issues with the oil changes, but I did specifically ask if they topped off all the fluids, and they told me they had. Well I'd asked for that specific vehicle because the low coolant light was on, and was told it's probably a sensor and was given a quote to replace it. I got home and checked the level the next day, and the reservoir was bone dry. I never did call back and ask about it, but I'm not sure I'll be taking my business back here.

This is a great auto service station. They do what is necessary for you to be safe and they are great about being honest and steering you in the right direction. Justin and Doug are great to do business with, that's why I keep going back even though they aren't the closest place I could go.

I don't know where I should start,Everytime I have brought my vehicle in I have had to bring it back,and sometimes multiple bring backs.Towed back two different times after it was fixed,even down to the windshield wipers were wrong size,and broke the next day after paying $18 each.last one was my truck wouldn't start,then it would,then wouldn't.Brougjt it here because they were the last ones to work on it,so I tell Doug the manager I think it's the alternator ,I'm not in this profession but know some things about vehicles being a woman,so I bring it in and he Tells me it's my battery,so I pay 242 dollars to replace it. So I leave,and drive it the next day,does it again,so I bring it back,and he says it's the alternator ,so as you see this was another time again this happened just a few days ago.si another$360 dollars ,so total $600 .This are just a few,can't put everything down .But trust me they are a rip off.and I mean rip off.Go across the street to tires plus .never have had bad service or problems like this.and yes I have multiple cars .But I would never go back to Goodyear again . And one more thing,you bring it in for a oil change,and they call you back and say,oh I noticed you need this n that.I caught on a little to late on that,but anyway and tell you need something else done and have the quite ready as he speaks to you on the phone . Mmmmmm sometimes I really wonder if I needed have the stuff I received. Thought I could trust them,being it's not profession .Healthcare is mine,and I treat all my residents good .I don't feel I was treated like a good customer .Just a money machine.You people do want you want but beware.Thank you

I love my new tires! I live on a dirt road out in the country but, I also do a lot of highway driving so I wanted a tire that would do well in all kinds of weather and situations. Thanks to the guys at Goodyear for their advice. These tires are performing well.

I had purchased an alignment package, so I was forced to go back several times. Each time I've been there I've been told there were things that were wrong with my car that were not; it seemed like they just saw a woman and assumed I would not know the difference. I got a second opinion each time and it turns out that no one else could find these defects. My car has driven just fine for a few years since the first one, which was supposed to have been fatal for the vehicle. In the same vein, they either didn't know the purpose of a battery terminal connector (to be conductive and hold the wires in place on the battery terminal) or they assumed that even though I had purchased a universal one and brought it over, I did not understand and could be duped. They told me that I needed a $42 part from the vendor, that it would need a day to be shipped, and then a DAY of labor to change the terminal (one screw). I was only there because I needed about 15 min of labor to help me remove the corroded one. I left and went to the next nearest shop (luckily the car started) and they chipped off the old one, put in my new one, and charged me $20. Now that my alignment package is expired I won't be going back; it's just frustrating since Goodyears are usually so good. I think that the people actually doing the work do well, but the whole customer interaction process is not good.

Every time I have come in to this store for service, going back at least 7 or 8 years, this location has always had friendly, honest staff that have always serviced my car quickly and more affordably than any other place I have been to. I would never bring my car anywhere else or to a dealer unless absolutely necessary.

They changed my oil and replaced my wipers the other day without an appointment, completed the work faster than expected and were super nice. They spent extra time with me explaining some other things that were wrong with my car and patiently making sure I understood. They seemed very trustworthy and handy, like the sort of folks you’d want on your zombie apocalypse team. 10/10 would visit again.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Everything was a mess from the moment I booked the appointment online. I even had to call back and schedule the same appointment over the phone and even verified all the services that needed to be done. I go in for my appointment, they have a completely different address and phone than what I had given them that wasn’t even close to the information that had been provided. They were suppose to do a specific type of inspection on my car that a man had verified would be done over the phone when I had made the appointment, and they did a normal maintenance Inspection instead and they told me I never made the appointment for specific type of inspection even though it was verified and noted several times. An older man who I assume was the manager was very rude to me and talked to me like I was an idiot, and you could clearly tell how unorganized they were. This was my first and last time here.

I brought my car in for an alignment check. They told me that the brake fluid is dirty and needs to be changed. Problem is that the brake fluid was flushed completely just yesterday. They try to scare you and sell services you don't need. Very shady business. Good thing in my case was I was sure I didn't need this service but the guy still tried to convince us even when we told him we just changed yesterday.

They do great work and you can trust them. They are straight forward and never add additional unneeded services to the bill which is a tough thing to find in a car shop. The staff here is always very helpful and friendly. Best prices on tires I've found. Excellent quality of work, and still at a good pace. It's rare to find good quality and quick, but here I have found it. I bring all my vehicles tot his Goodyear and all of my family's. I would highly recommend this location to others. The manger is a very professional and friendly gentleman who is eager to answer any questions I have and always makes sure I am happy and satisfied with the services I received. The techs are also friendly and take excellent care of my vehicles. The last tech who test drove my vehicle was names Joe I believe, and he made sure to put my seat and steering wheel back in the proper position for me. I'm 6'4 and he was maybe around 5'5? So it was nice going to sit in my truck and not having the seat all the way forward!

They get it done. I needed somewhere that I could rely on. Last year I took my car to some 'joe-somebody' shop and now my car paid for it. My lower-ball baring came off my wheel and cv axle broke. They got the parts delivered and fixed my car in 2ish hours. The price to fix my car is what I expected which is pretty much 'cost of parts X2'. They don't have towing. And I had to pay for the towing which was added on to my bill. They have a small waiting area with coffee, tea, and water. Plus free wifi. Also, they have a clean single person bathroom. Hope they did a good job and my car doesn't die on the hwy again.

Wow. Thought the experience there was fine until 4 months later. Used the paperwork and invoice from my new 4 tires they put on to get a replacement after a flat, to find out that that was the wrong style tire than the ones actually on my car. Realized I was charged for a more expensive tire than the tires I actually recieved. I almost went back this morning to get the new tire put on and am I happy that I didn’t give any more money to a deceitful company ! I don’t even want to buy a new Goodyear tire after this !

They are very friendly and very quick. Came in to get my brakes looked at an hour later I was out the door. They take their work very seriously and know what they are talking about. I have seen a lot of negative comment about there attitude. But maybe they were having an off day or you were being rude to them. I highly recommend this place!

I had a flat tire so I brought it to this particular Goodyear to have it patched. They said they do free tire repair. I drop my car off the night before and was expecting to have it done after I got off of work the next day. The mechanic called me at about 10 AM and explain to me that the screw was through the shoulder of my tire and that it would have to be replaced. Not only that but all four of my tires would have to be replaced because my car is all-wheel-drive. Estimate 725 before tax. Before pulling the trigger I made a few phone calls and got estimates from other places. I finally decided to bring it to discount tire 5280 Central Ave as their quote was the cheapest. I told them the same thing I told Goodyear, I have a flat tire and needed it repaired. To my surprise, 30 minutes later they called me telling me that it didn't need to be replaced, it had been patched and ready to go. No charge. I spoke with the mechanic that fixed my tire and questioned if it was borderline needing replacement and he said no, clearly it was patchable. We will see how long the patch holds, but as of now, Goodyear looks like crooks. Really dissaponted that they tried to take advantage, knowing I was without a car in frigid temps and near the holidays. Zero stars. Discount tire: 5280 Central Ave, Columbia Heights.

Synthetic oil change in February. Service tech spilled a bit of oil on the engine cover, but not a deal breaker. Fast-forward about six weeks - smelled burning oil. Looked at driveway, saw an oil spot. Crawled under the vehicle, dripping oil. Loose oil filter.
