Purchased a 2012 Subaru Outback that was brought in on a trade in. It was the best vehicle purchase I had ever experienced!! Mark Simmons and Britta Baker were the best! They are not your typical pushy car salesman (woman) - they are honest and to the point - with a little humor to help ease the stress. The financial office was great too ... they go over every line, every charge, and they are honest all along the way. I drove 142 miles (over 2 1/2 hours) for my vehicle and it was worth every mile!! If you are in the market for a new vehicle - go see Deery!!

My experience was horrible. I will never buy another car here and would advise others not to as well. My seat would not go back in my car. I let my salesman know and he told me they would fix it before I left. They brought the car back up to me and the seat still was not fixed. I let the salesman know that it still was not fixed and he said they have done all they could for me and they could not do anymore. This has been the worst service I've ever had. it was most certainly your dealership. I bought a monte carlo from you guys 2 weeks ago.

I had ordered some accessories from Deery Brothers, for my 2014 Ford F-150. The sales lady, Cindy, was very nice and professional. However, the workers, not so professional. i have a towel on my ds seat, and it was left on the floor. The shop manager told me that he would be able to have his guy spray the bed liner smooth, and that didn't happen. Worst of all, i've had my brand new truck for 3 weeks, and they were the one's to put the first scratch in it. They were lazy in trying to fix it up for me. It was pretty deep, and they didn't even buff on it like the kid say they did. They put touch-up paint on it and that's it. There was another mark too, and it was still there, when in fact, i could have buffed it out my self ( have being a body shop painter in the past). Ill have to take care of it myself when i get back home. They didn't even wash it up for me. I was told that their car wash was down. Funny, cause i seen a kid washing a car. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE GUYS TO ANYONE. build/paint me a dog house.

My son is a student at U of Iowa and a tire blew on our 12 yo van a few days before break. We had the car towed to Deery. Josh, in service, evaluated the problem (a bent rim), ordered a used rim (no new are made anymore) and had it repaired within a day. Not only were we happy with their prompt service, but we were very happy that the bill was reasonable. Thanks Josh and Deery GM.

I drove 4 hours from out of state to come look at a car. I told them I had my reservations and they assured me that the car is in great shape. Upon arriving and inspecting the car the paint on the trunk was dried out and flaking off and the bumper was out of alignment. I told them this and they came down on the price a bit. When I took the car to get the body issues fixed I was told that there were more issues than what the dealer had described. On top of that, the paint job was shoddy. To get it fixed properly was going to cost way more than the amount that they came off of the price. I called Deery brothers and spoke to Tim, the used car manager and told him the ordeal. He offered no help and basically said good luck. Overall, they did a poor job of representing the car. The car inspection failed to find flaking paint and parts that aren't aligned correctly. Guys were shady and took advantage of a first time young car buyer. Will not be returning again.

Save your time and money. This dealership was changing hands between owners when I was shopping and the whole staff was awful. The salespeople are friendly, but incompetent and their managers are pushy, rude and will not listen to you. I had to void a check because they "lost" the keys to my car when I attempted to get a value for my trade in. I wrote a check for a deposit and then had to void it on my phone so they could "find" my keys again. Worst car buying experience ever.

Only reason I'm giving them one star is to give a review and you have to a least give one star to give a review. I hate doing business with them. They're not friendly and do not do anything to accommodate you. I bought a dodge Durango with a warranty, the tail lamp went out a couple months later. They tell me it isn't covered under the warranty so I had to pay 1,500 to get it fixed. My car also came with free oil changes for 2 years, I can never get in on a walk in. Even if I bring it in early in the morning. They say they do walk ins but they are never prepared to do walk ins to service a vehicle. I just really hate I gave them any business. I should have just stuck with shottenkirk. To me I feel like they don't do anything to satisfy the customer. Then again there's a lot of racism in this town so that might play apart too.

Mostly I was very happy with my experience, just one thing bothers me. I was told that my insurance would be lower than my Rouge, turns out it is going to be higher, because it is a 2017 Toyota le. I am on a very limited income and every dollar means a lot. Maybe the salesmen or finance person should just say "they don't know how insurance works". It would have saved me a lot of frustration.

Needed tires for my car. They were super helpful, listened to what I wanted, found me the best tires I have ever owned at a price that was comparable to what I have been paying for cheap ones. Even my dad was impressed, and he always thinks I screw up on car stuff! When I got there, it was clean, staff were attentive and pleasant. Shuttled me to work with a smile. Work done by the time promised. The car wash and vacuum was the icing on the cake. Very pleased. Will definitely do business with them again! Just had my second experience with this dealership tonight. Worked with salesman Blake Dichraff and could not have been more pleased. He was pleasant, helpful, and gave no pressure at all. I walked away with the car I came for, after test driving three total vehicles. He got me a great interest rate with terms I could live with. Customer service by Carmen on the phone was poor. Not everyone is qualified to handle customers over the phone. She clearly doesn't understand how to use basic phone courtesy, like "Hello, good morning, or good bye". The phone call is the first contact you have with a potential customer. Be kind, helpful, and courteous. She was rude, unskilled at her job, and didn't want to be bothered answering phones. I'll go somewhere else.

BEWARE BEFORE YOU CALL!! I called up (12/14/18 a little after 1pm) to check on a vehicle they have advertised on the Internet. The salesman stated that he wanted to go check to see if the vehicle was still on his lot and asked for a callback number. And I told him I did not wish to be called back other than this once and then he informed me it’s too late we already have your number and there will be follow up calls. I expressed that this was against my wishes and he basically told me too bad. No Sir, what is too bad is thats the car in the color that my wife wishes for Christmas and there was a 90% chance that the boys and I was headed up this weekend to get it! Now 0%!

Due to the distance between where we live, and the dealership, we were offered to have a vehicle we were interested in purchasing delivered to our house and my vehicle was brought to dealership for servicing. After having vehicle for two days to test drive, we returned to Deery Brothers and discussed pricing of vehicle were interested in. Greatly appreciated the honesty both sales rep and general manager presented as to their cost versus sales price of vehicle. We brought our 2018 Nissan Murano in for its first routine checkover since purchasing it new late last fall, and to diagnose and correct an unusual anamoly in the adaptive cruise control we'd discovered on a winter trip to Texas. We expected the routine check to go as planned and were hoping the other issue would at least be understood and eventually fixed. The folks at the Service Department were familiar with the cruise control problem and even had the right replacement part on hand. We're very happy with what we've experienced at Deery Brothers.

It was the worst experience I've ever had. First they said they had my car then they said they didn't I nearly had a heart attack. Mike from Parts hung up on me. They told me that they could work on it while I was at work and I set up an appointment which they didn't keep because they couldn't find my car that was in there parking lot. I had our Rogue’s oil changed and the tires rotated. That all went fine. Then it was suggested I needed an air filter. At 18,700 miles, that seemed a little early, but we live on gravel and every trip is at least 8 miles of dust and dirt. So okay. Then, it was suggested we needed the injectors flushed, or some such thing, for $200. I said I’d think about it. When I got home, I checked the manual. Said flushing is only up for inspection through 120,000 miles. At some point it may need to be done, but.... It’s this kind of behavior that caused there to be 20 years between our buying cars at Deery’s.

Although I did not leave with the vehicle I was hoping to purchase, they were very friendly and accommodating. They made the helpful effort to read the OBD2 codes from the minivan for me before I made the trip. Even after the deal ended up not going through, they were still friendly and helpful. The only downside was we were there for just over four hours; our relative we were going to meet that day ended up just meeting us there. It helps they have fresh fruit, doughnuts, and good coffee. It would make sense to do transactions over two visits if you live close by, such as breaking for lunch.

This is a horrible place. This place kept my daughter there for over 8 hours waiting for their finance person. They told her she would lose her place if she left. They told her if she could have a cosigner she could get a better interest rate. She called me and I told her I would but couldn't be there until 7:30 that night. They told her no problem, she could get all the paperwork done and I could show up later and sign what I needed to sign. But then they kept her there saying it wouldn't be long. Ended up there for over 8 hours!!!!! I was mad when I found out. How could they treat someone so horribly. I found out as my husband and I were driving up there. We live 45 minutes away. I had called her, she was sick and weak from hunger. Her entire day of plans shot because of Deery Brothers. We made a quick stop at McDonald's for food for her. We get there as she was finally getting in to see the finance person. Now. Everything up to this point was really bad business on Deery Brothers, treating a customer that bad. But the finance person, he is either ignorant of his job or just a crook. I am there to cosign. He has me sign paperwork as a cobuyer. That is how it is done now. Okay, I verified this information with another dealership and they confirmed that is how it is done now. But, what that finance person at Deery Brothers LIED about was that he also said that because I had the better credit the registration/title had to be in my name. I argued this with him. I live in a different county then my daughter. He said this four or more times that I had to be the one on the registration / title and all I had to do was call the court house and they will switch it to my daughter's name. It was late, I was concerned for my daughter. She has already been there for so long, and with the finance guy telling us that is how it is done over and over. I signed the title. Now of course after talking to a honest dealership, they told me that guy lied. The finance company can care less whose name is on the title as long as their loan contract is signed. She was told they would fill up the tank before she left with the car. It was on the red line, empty. When she asked why, they said, oh that is for new cars only. Another lie.

We did not purchase a vehicle here but stopped to look at several trucks as we are thinking of making a purchase. They have tons of vehicles to offer at good prices. The service was very friendly and not overbearing like some car dealership sales people are. I wish the prices would be posted in the window like other placed as that is very helpful when looking for a used vehicle between a certain price. The lot was easy to access and organized by vehicles and new/used models. We will definitely be going back to look again.

I purchased the 2015 Equinox from Deery Brothers in West Burlington, IA. My fiancé and I liked the vehicle during our test drive, but we felt very manipulated and rushed in our decision making process. We came in to test drive a 2014 Traverse that was listed for $13,500. We made it clear to our salesman Steve Donald, that we wanted to be lower than that price, or right at that price if the deal was right with the mileage on the vehicle, year, and any problems with the vehicle. We really liked the Traverse and were told that “they” couldn’t make it work in our price range. We were told that “he”, I’m guessing the sales manager, brought the price all the way down to what the dealership had into the car, and still couldn’t make the deal work. Franticly, our salesman said that there may be a deal that they could make work; we had to go because I had to get to work. We saw the list price of $16,100 on the window of the vehicle and knew that that was not in our price range. Steve made the comment that “he” is coming way down on the price for this vehicle and that “he” doesn’t usually do this. He was really pushy and forceful that I made this deal. I have never in my life met someone as passive-aggressive as Steve Donald. I have never in my years of purchasing vehicles, which I have purchased my fair share, have ever felt so manipulated, mislead, and disrespected as I did at Deery Brothers. I felt as if I were being discriminated against due to my age, which is 22 years of age, with the way the salesman was talking to me and the way everything was misleading. I could not even get an oil change because Steve told me that it can damage a vehicle if it is changed before the oil percent is below 10%. I have never heard of such a thing before, I just wanted a fresh oil change, along with the free one I will receive in the next 6,000 miles. I did not want to have to come back in 1,000 miles just for the oil change, since I live one hour away. Steve refused to help us out on that. Steve again insisted that we were getting a good deal and did not make any mention of the price of the vehicle after I asked repeatedly. I asked and he would distract us with the car buying process and repeatedly used the phrase “you are getting a good deal.” I then went into the financing office and began to sign more paper work. I was told that the price was going to be $22,000 and some old dollars, but since we put $500 down, it was going to be $21,000 and some odd dollars. I was a little leery on the price, as I did not want to be higher than $20,000 all in with the left over from the Sonic that I traded in plus the gap insurance and the extended warranty that was mentioned. My thought process was that I was getting the equinox for the $13,500, which was the price of the Traverse, plus the $5,500 left over inequity from my previous car loan, plus the extended warranty and gap insurance, leaving me at the $21,000 in debt that was mentioned in the financing office. When I got home and looked at the financing papers we noticed that I was in fact $26,000 in debt which was not what I thought was agreed upon and was not what we wanted at all. This price was never mentioned, and this is why I feel manipulated and mislead during the whole process. When I saw that, I just wanted to opt out of everything. This deal was very misleading to say the least, and I couldn’t even get a full tank of gas. I felt like Steve was very unprofessional with his words. I mentioned that I had filled up the car the previous day and wanted at least the 12 gallons in the new vehicle. Steve said that could not happen so I made the joke that I was going to syphon the gas out of the Sonic, since they couldn’t give us a full tank, and Steve said “be my guest.” I find it very hard for me to recommend this place to someone as we feel very manipulated, blinded, and I was not treated with any respect, I have never in my life had such a bad experience purchasing anything. I am posting this review on behalf of myself, and Derric Littlefield, who purchased the vehicle.

Live out of town and but took our Nissan to have oil changed. Thought they were pricey but thought they did a lot extra that others didn't. It was really cold out and they told us the car wash wasn't working. Gave us a certificate to use it another day. Went to use it today and was told that the car wash wasn't working. I had just walked by a freshly washed Camaro. The girl offered me another one and I'm thinking why, you won't let me use this one. I didn't argue. Instead decided they could keep their overpriced oil changes. Did I mention we bought our year newer, less miles, Nissan for $2000 less elsewhere?

We road tripped 2 hours on a Saturday morning, after finding a few camaro convertibles online. We were met by Steve Donald, who gave us specs on every camaro they had on the lot. He was thourough, not pushy, asked questions, listened, and got us in a test drive within 20 minutes. Finance was a breeze. This dealership is an absolute JOKE!! Jacked my dad around about buying a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. He took his Rubicon to trade a couple weeks ago and the salesman low balled him so bad on trade, he was wasting my dad's time. Dad made an offer to write out a check for the Jeep on the spot, but his offer was too low and the sales guy let him walk. He called and called, but felt like no one was putting him high enough on their priority list to take care of him. Promised time and time again that they would get back with him to let him know if the Jeep was still available or not after a few others test drove it. Never got a phone call back! This past Thursday (12/3) I called for my dad to see if the Jeep was still available. I spoke to Ivan and he told me it was being test driven at the time, that he would get back with me to let me know if it sold. Saturday (12/5) night 5:50, I had to call back myself. On Friday (12/4) my dad finally called one last time to see if it was available. He spoke to the salesman, and he told dad a friend of the owner's had test driven it on Wednesday, and he decided not to buy it! Dad told him he wanted it and that he was on his way to come pick it up. Right then. We live about an hour from Burlington. He was on the road for about 25 minutes when the dealership called and said they talked to the friend who drove it on Wednesday and now he changed his mind and decided he wanted the Jeep so they sold it to him instead. Working customer service, you learn to treat others the way you would want to be treated. And the way you make your customer feel is what sticks with him or her. This dealership made my dad feel bothersome and like he wasn't important! He has made a point to make sure he never buys anything from you guys! Ever! You wasted his time and yanked him around over a Jeep he had his heart set on!

I took my car in for an issue concerning the navigation system after waiting on my car for FIVE hours they told me they couldn't get it to start, the technician thought it was A battery in the ignition key so they replaced it and still couldn't get it to start then they said it was A brake switch which needed to be ordered so they sent me home in A rental that they provided, after waiting on my car all afternoon I had an hour drive home. they called me two days later to tell me my car was done and the bill was $675, when I got there to pick it up the actual bill was over $700 they had charged me for replacing the battery in the key that wasn't even bad, then they had the nerve the require the vehicle they loaned me be returned with A full gas tank, I must say I wouldn't recommend this dealership, the only way I will ever return there is if every other dealership on earth spontaneously combusts.
