Straight forward transaction, didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. They can't perform caster alignments, I'm not sure if this is common across tire shops though. They showed me before and after results for my car's alignment. There expected time to completion was accurate. The "alignment specialist" seemed to know what he was talking about and answered my questions about the caster (since it was outside spec and they couldn't fix it), recommending another party if I wanted to get it aligned. Front end alignment and a new tire took ~30-40 minutes.

The absolute worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. A simple tire replacement took two days. Tyler was very unprofessional and displayed very little competence when it came to doing simple things. I informed him that I had a warranty and gave him the claim number and he refused to even contact the company. At one point he shrug and said “I dunno.” When he eventually decided to comply he tried to fax the receipt to my cell phone TWICE instead of faxing my warranty company. I told him that he was faxing the wrong number and he lied about sending it until the warranty company confirmed the number he dialed from. He held my keys in the back room and hung up on the warranty company with hopes that I would pay out of pocket, even though he had already gotten the authorization for the payment. If I were as dumb as him he could’ve easily gotten over on me. I have used my warranty multiple times before and never had an issue. I will never give business to this company again.

After having tires rotated, I had my tire pressure light come on a half hour later. I returned to have the problem fixed. I was told they had nothing with which to check tire pressures. REALLY? At a tire store? They made no attempt to fix the problem they caused by forgetting to do a reset after rotation.

I never write reviews but I really wanted to write this after my last service. I had a small puncture in one of my tires. They fixed it so quickly I was shocked. It was all covered by warranty. Overall best service experience in a long time.

I have been going to Tire Barn for many years, different ones in Noblesville, Fishers and now Castleton. They have all been very helpful and nice most recently my tire light came on so I stopped in and Chris the Manager helped me, he was very nice and courteous and has a great smile, very friendly. They fixed my problem it was a screw had gotten stuck in my tire. My daughter also uses them, we have always had goood luck with them. Thanks Chris and Tire Barn.

I asked them to leave my keys in my car as I needed work done but wouldn't be able to get back before they closed. The manager assured me this wasn't an issue and could also leave my final receipt in the car as well. They did neither but left my car unlocked which left me stranded in Castleton at night. I always get great service here. I live in a different state and only come to Indy to visit family twice a year. I get my tires rotated, balanced, and replaced with the lifetime warrantee at this location. I was considering going with a different shop this time around that had locations that were local to where I live, but the candor and friendliness displayed by the staff won me over again. I ask a lot of questions and price compare to other shops (including one that is 0.2 miles away *AHEM*) - which I’m sure kind of makes me an annoying customer, but the manager answered my questions patiently and courteously. I felt the manager Matt and Assist. Manager Chris were being genuine and had logical answers for why I may have been told conflicting information from the competitor. In the end, they beat the competitor’s price, got my work done quickly, and made sure I was comfortable with my purchase. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

I was on my way home from college and about 90min into my 4hr drive I got a completely flat tire. I made it to the Tire Barn on my spare, and they were kind when I was time shopping for the quickest repair I could get on a Saturday. They had the shortest time and they were very kind and reassuring that they could help me. They ended up needing to replace the tire, and they gave me two tires ($100 and a $225) to choose from, and didn't try to persuade me to get the more expensive option. Once I chose the tire, they had it changed in 15min and even gave me a $25 price break. The guy at the front was extremely kind and helpful, and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. I always felt like I was getting the best help given my situation. Another tire place told me that if I had to replace a tire I had to get all four changed, but this place let me replace just one. Thank you so much for helping me Tire Barn! If I ever have a tire issue in Carmel again, I'll be coming to Tire Barn first.

We discovered a bolt in our tire this morning (Sunday) on our way to church. When we left church, we called around but all the tire places were either closed or booked for the day. We have a busy week so leaving this for tomorrow would not work. After calling or looking up the hours for 4 or 5 places, I remembered the Tire Barn just down the road. We called and they assured my wife it would be inexpensive and could be done this afternoon before they close. They let me drop it off and said they would call me when it was ready. A couple hours later, they called and the tire is good as new after they patched it. They took something that was a headache and needed to be taken care of quickly and they made it smooth. They provided exceptional service and when we need help in the future, we will be going back!

I had such a great experience here a couple of weeks ago. Unexpected flat tire in the middle of the day on a Friday. I walked in and they were very honest and said they wouldn’t be able to fit me in that day (as they were short of staff) but that I could get air in my tire. When I pulled my car around to get the air the man told me it’s not fixable, but that I should be able to leave my car there over night and they would try to get me in in the morning. Well while parking my car another employee met me at my door and was looking at my tire. He informed me that he would take care of it then. I was so grateful! They just asked that I be patient as it could take awhile to try to fit me in. While I was waiting on someone to pick me up, probably only been there an hour, they call me up and informed me that they had finished ! I mean these guys all were so great and Professional ! I was seriously alright leaving the car there overnight as I figured with it being a Friday let alone I wouldn’t be able to be seen, but wow they were so respectful and just really a well rounded team that they were able to fit me in. Honestly of all the tire barns I’ve been to, or just car places in general this place had the best service and they were so nice to me.

We drove over 30 minutes only to be turned away three hours before they closed on a Sunday afternoon. They asked if we had an appointment. Ummm no a screw in a tire is not expected. It should be a quick fix because we had a replacement tire if it could not be patched. The tire was from Tire Barn less than 30 days old. We have spent over $1,000 in the last two years with Tire Barn and this was how we were treated. August 12 staff was rude they said, “You could leave your car here for four days and we might be able to get it in!” What! Yes, you read it right four days for a screw in the tire. That’s like going to a grocery store and filling your cart then being told sorry even though we are open you can’t buy anything. Come back in four days and do this again! We wasted an hour of our time and gas. They need to make appointment spaces for emergencies. It’s obvious they don’t care about customers who aren’t going to have a costly expense. I’ve been on both sides of the coin 8 tires on two vehicles and they found time. Now I have an emergency and I’m screwed (literally). So much for paying extra on each tire for this type of situation. Now I have to go elsewhere for help. They are so big and are making so much money there is no loyalty to maintaining customers. What a fraud.

I had to deal with Tire Barn for an emergent reason recently. The guy behind the counter seemed distracted and when he went to the garage area I could hear several different voices loudly complaining about customer calls. When the technician came out to talk to me, he was rude, condescending and flippant. He told me that if I wanted the same tire, he could order it otherwise it was "$85 out the door". When I asked if there was anything cheaper, he replied with a short "no, there's not anything cheaper". Upon review of the bill, I saw a $30 charge for a lifetime install package that I will not use. In the future, I will deal with another tire dealer that I've never been talked down to at.

I had a wonderful experience at the 82nd Street Tire Barn today. I don't know anything about tires, but I had become convinced that my tires were old and needed replacing. I was prepared to buy four new tires today, but after checking my tires, they informed me that I didn't need any new tires. Only one of the tires needed a little repair, which they did free of charge!!! The young man at the counter was extremely polite and professional. I will definitely go back when I really do need tires.

Dread getting new tires? Not here! I had my Michelins safety checked and aligned at this location after a poor experience where I had purchased the tires. I had an 11:00 appointment. There were 5 of us seated & waiting with 1 at the counter. All of these had been served except 1 when I was ready too. New walk-in customers were pouring in and calling for quotes over the phone. I heard customers given many options for products available today for their needs. Very Busy location with positive staff who are knowledgeable and kind. Team Work was evident. Every staff person was friendly, conversational, helpful to one another and fun. I saw many people benefitting from their road hazard warranty purchases and decided to add this to my purchase today. I am confident I have the Best tires, Best store at 82nd St, & Best warranty all at the Best prices thanks to their help. Now my vehicle drives like a dream. I would recommend this unassuming locale & rate it a 10/10 & I look forward to the wonderful building upgrades and new pricing that are planned for the near future. I would hope you upgrade the computer system too so you can see my purchase from across town and they can see my warranty purchase. I am clinging to glove box paperwork like the old days. You're lucky to have such a dedicated service team. It's uncommon, I promise. I wasn't the only customer smiling ~ we all were. Thank You. And-one month later- I returned for rear tire repair on a 2nd vehicle with rotate/alignment. Diagnosis: unexpected & fatal 'nail in the sidewall, no guarantees on any repair holding' with 49k mi on manufacturer tires, we determined to buy a 2nd set from Tire Barn. No Michelins today, bought the Yokohama 60k with the TB warranty & a mail-in rebate. They are attractive, quiet, smooth and the driver really likes them. Price was straight-forward 'Yikes!', but what a feeling to be driving SAFELY, 5 Star Service AGAIN, Given 1 1/2 hr wait time, but IN/OUT in ONE HOUR with an appointment on a Thur at 2P. Fewer customers today, fewer employees with new signage they are 'Hiring'. If you like attention to detail, keeping busy & not just standing around, would be a Great job. I have a feeling they would really help you out too.

They lied to me about what was wrong with my tire. When I received the alignment modification paper. It was not the problem they initially told me. Also, they did not give me 20 OFF after showing them my coupon for it. The guys here at this location seem to only want your pockets. Side note, other Tire Barns I’ve been to have not been run like this one. They have been honest about everything.

Brought my car here, for a leaking tire, near closing time. I wasn't sure they were even still in business when I walked in, but once I confirmed they were, it was a great experience from then on. Both the guy working the front desk and the techs working on my car were friendly and personable. The tech came up a couple times to keep me updated on their progress. I was the only person there, so they weren't taking too long, but I really appreciated it. Once all was said and done, I'm pretty sure I kept them their after closing time (when another tire place across the street had turned me away) and they even gave me a hell of a deal on the patch job. May not be a pretty place to look at... but I would highly recommend.

I was driving on 465 when my car started to shake as I reached 60mph. I was right by the Castleton exit and called the tire stores near me. Tire barn was the only place that answered the phone. I told them about my situation and they said they could help me out. Luckily, I was in between appointments for them and they got me in right away. Tristan and John were extremely pleasant and PROFESSIONAL. Prior to starting the work, they explained in detail what was going on with my car and the price... which was very reasonable. Being a female, I'm typically wary of being taken advantage of but they didn't make me feel that way one bit. I had a very difficult to find tire size and had been struggling to find a reasonably priced tire to replace my worn out set. Chris was able to find 5+ tires within my budget and walked me through selecting the best of the group. I went with a uniroyal branded tire and had them installed and balanced the same day they arrived. The timing could not have been better, two road trips and 3,000 miles later I can report that these tires are great. Low noise, great ride quality, and good handling. Thanks!

I could not even begin to type out the havoc my life has incurred in the last two days, but the guys at Tire Barn in Castleton have become heroes in my eyes. I took my car there 2 days ago. One bad thing after another started to happen as soon as I got there, none of which were Tire Barn's fault. They went over and above to help me out. They found every path available to me, laid out my options and explained each one thoroughly. My best friend and I grew up around Castleton and had already decided Tire Barn was the BEST place to get tires, but the crew there took it to the next level today. The manager, C. Jones, and his crew gave me phenomenal service and advice.

I bought new tires from here less than a year ago, everything was great at the shop the guy seemed professional though he tried to take advantage of me and up-sell unnecessary things. But thats typical of most places fast forward to today where my tires are extremely worn out after 12,000 miles and I was told I have an alignment issue. Both my grandfather and my mother called tire barn asking about my extended warranty that I paid for and both talked to Tyler who identified himself as the manager of the store. He was rude, confrontational and even hung up on my mom. He said it wasn’t their problem since it was an alignment issue but my receipt clearly shows I payed $120 for an alignment when I got the tires. Tyler explained that alignments are optional and that customers must ask for them. So I paid for something that they never did and it wasn’t cheap. He also explained how it was a different crew and that he can’t uphold anything that they did. My question is how long has Tyler been a manager and how does he think disrespecting customers will benefit the store he works for. If he’s like this with customers I wonder how his employees treat customers or what their work ethics are like. We will be contacting corporate and we will be taking any action we need to, including legal. Today I’m at discount tire where they are respectful, helpful, and even told me the tires that Tire Barn had me pay $400 for, they don’t use because of how many issues they have. Tire barn used to have the business of my whole family and my grandfather’s roofing company but now we’re telling everyone we know not to go there and to avoid at all costs because your problems are not they’re problems according to Tyler.

I scheduled an appointment at this location and reserved my tires two days prior to showing up there today. When I got there I was told that someone else had come in before me wanting those tires so they sold them to that person instead. I was told that it was a normal thing for him to do and that people don't show up for appointments all the time and that he has a business to run. He didn't apologize or offer me a deal on equal or better tires or try to make it right. He eventually sent me to a different location that had the tires I wanted and fortunately they took good care of me there and were shocked that I was treated this way at that store.

I really like this place, I've always gotten great service in the years I've been going here. I get the road hazard warranty, and when I've had to get a tire patched or even replaced, it's been very easy. I give them 4.5 stars, the only reason I didn't the store 5 is because it used to be open until 7, now it's only open until 6, which makes it impossible to get there during the week. Which is not the the fault of the employees, obviously.

I booked an appointment for what I thought was the next day to replace a tire with a blister and followed up since I never saw an email come through. Was told they just shut down their online booking tool which I'm sure wiped my appointment as they showed no record of it. Wasted all day thinking I had an appt., and could have probably found somewhere else to take care of this issue this weekend. Now I'm probably stuck driving on a compromised tire into next week...

Booked my appointment online March 4th for Saturday the 10th. Arrived at my appointment time and was told the Corporate office cancelled all online appointments due to the pot hole issue and there was no record of my appointment and they didn't have the tires I wanted in stock. I scheduled my appointment a week in advance to avoid this very issue. He did offer to find other tires after he made me feel like it was my fault by saying we didn't call & confirm or send you & e-mail about the appointment. I was so discussed at that point I said no thanks. Do Not have online appointment scheduling if you are not going to use it correctly! Also, if you go to the web page there is nothing to indicate they are not accepting appointments. I called corporate and filed a complaint. Tire Barn just lost my business.

Amazing customer service coming from this place assistant manager did an incredible job along with the manager and their assistant employees. Everyone there was extremely friendly they even replaced a tire that had a hole in it in fixed it even though it wasn't purchased from them and went out of their way to show me the correct places to go to get the best deals for the parts I needed that had nothing to do with them profiting. So it just goes to show you the effort and care that those employees had a very much appreciated my experience and I recommend anybody to go to Tire Barn / Discount Tire considering I've been doing Discount Tire for 10 years my first trip to Tire Barn blew the customer service away. Highly recommended!!!!! Ask for David if you have any questions, he is the assistant manager, and an incredibleble employee but if he is not there the rest of their staff is just as capable and just as caring. I scheduled my vehicle for an alignment due to an issue. They assured me that they would "Get me in first before anyone else" at 8:00 AM. I arrived at 8:00 am sharp and waited 30 minutes just for them to pull my car around. After 15 more minutes, the guy comes in and tells me they cannot align my car because the steering wheel is not straight. Anyone who knows anything about cars knows that the steering wheel itself has absolutely nothing to do with actual wheel alignment - merely how the wheel is pressed on to the steering column. The worker refused to align my vehicle and I will never be returning to this store.

Probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The fat bald guy at the front desk was awful. Get ready to feel like you're in a one-sided argument with someone who acts like they hate the fact you came to do business with them. Not to mention they jack up the prices to nearly double what the quote on the phone when you come in. Not quite sure how they stay in business with employees that treat their customers like that. The location is not in an ideal spot as it is. You'd figure the one thing they'd get right was customer service. Apparently not. Do not recommend. Get better service and prices at either Discount Tire or Goodyear Tire next door. Heck, they're easier to get to as well.

Tire Barn got me in right away, it took 20 minutes, they found the nail that had barely punctured the tire but that was causing pressure loss, and charged me nothing if I promised to come back when I needed new tires. I have been here twice before to get my car aligned. This time would have been my 3rd time in. I needed a rear alignment after replacing my rear wheel bearings. So I drove through rush hour Friday traffic to get here after work. I walk in and they tell me that they can't align my car because it is German. I had new tires put on new rims last year. This year, had a tire warranty replaced, came back with gouges from tire machine on the inside, and a large chip in the paint where the bar is used. They are very careful if you tell them to be, as I did when I first bought from them. They used rubber feet for the tire machine to protect the insides. And they were careful when they installed them in the first place. But without letting them know, they go back to less elegant ways to removal/install a tire, and not careful with the tire iron (you should always put a rag, folded twice, where the bar hits the rim) It was probably new guys that handled my recent rim though. Who knows. The front end staff are excellent.

This location recently went through some staff changes. The guys there are great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because their techs have started to cut corners a little bit. If you have your work done there just double check all work and be thorough. I had to get my tires aligned three times due to errors. HOWEVER they made sure to correct their mistakes and made it right. Definitely still use and would recommend.

It use to be a place that I trusted with my car. However, I took my car in today to this tirebarn the people are all new, and they didn't seem to understand that I had an impact break on my passenger front tire. Luckily the manger corrected that for me, and I was able to use my road hazard there. When I got my car back, they told me that they checked my pressures for me and they were fine. My tire lost pressure on my way home, and I had to take it into a different tire shop that my boyfriend works at. As soon as he saw the tire, he pointed out that the center cap was busted from the back side. Tirebarn busted my center cap, and they gave it back to me intentionally without telling me. My biggest issue with it was that a technician busted my center cap and did not do anything to fix it. They also counter balanced my tire that they put on, which caused a vibration on my passenger side. It scared me to drive my car home.

If you are looking for an example of why mechanics get a bad reputation and shysters, then look no further. After a past negative experience several years ago I figured I would give this shop another try- a mistake I WILL NOT make again. I scheduled an alignment for my car and arrived early. I'd recently replaced a front upper control arm on my car, as directed by my usual mechanic who wasn't able to offer an alignment that day. After an initial inspection, I was informed by the staff that an element of the control arm (the ball joint) was not "an adjustable ball joint," and would therefore need to be punched out, and have a new one pressed in. I was then told that the only service that could be offered that day was to align the rear toe- a charge of $84.99. A full alignment was quoted at $104.99 - $20 higher than my usual mechanic. After reviewing everything closely, I found that the part that had been replaced was indeed the correct part for my car (thanks to Autozone for ensuring that I got exactly what was needed). Tire Barn was clearly trying to charge for additional and UNNECESSARY services, something that I do not take kindly to. I reviewed some other encounters that people have posted online about this location and found mine to be similar. A staff that was not forthcoming with all the information, attempts to overcharge, and a staff member someone described as "bald and fat" who tends to butt into inquiries that do not concern him, and offering his thoughts, which are not productive. I was also informed by my usual mechanic that Tire Barn has a reputation of not wanting to perform alignments. They informed me that they'd recently had a customer who had purchased a brand new, full set of tires from Tire Barn, and when asked to do an alignment on the vehicle, Tire Barn informed the customer that her suspension would need to be serviced before any alignment could take place- long story short, she visited another mechanic and her suspension is fine. Why offer alignments (and overcharge) if you don't want to do them? Thankfully, I just received a call from my usual mechanic who was able to successfully align my car WITHOUT complications or unnecessary parts/labor. As you can see from other reviews, the corporate office of Tire Barn has attempted to contact customers to alleviate their complaints, but I'd say, judging by the persistent problems, they've failed in their attempts to rectify the issue or hire a staff that is willing to do the job that is necessary, within reasonable circumstances. If you're considering coming here for any services, I would HIGHLY recommend that you reconsider and visit another facility, unless you've got a disposable income.

This place was excellent! The guys in there were very honest with me and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I had a flat tire. They were able to patch my flat tire, bend 2 rims back in place, and fix my tire pressure in about 45 minutes and for ONLY $17!! I'm a 23 year old female who doesn't know the slightest thing about cars, so they could have very easily tried to get me something I didn't need and I would've gone right along with it! Thank you, Tire Barn! Will definitely recommend to friends and will come back if I ever need help again!

My favorite thing about this store is that they don't try to upsell the customer. I've had three tires repaired there. They do it quickly and well. Today, as always they didn't try to sell me anything. I even asked if new tires were in my future and they said "not for a while.". That's why this is the only tire shop for me.
