Set up an appointment a week in advance for tie rod ends. I show up, hand over the car keys, smooth at first. 2 hours and 30 minutes goes by, I get called up to the desk and told that they can't do the job, that my parts I brought with me were garbage (they were brand new, ACDelco), and was told to re-schedule. They said it'll take 4 hours, and they tried to get me to spend $60 on parts that I can buy online for $20 AND said it'll be $250 for labor when I was already quoted $150 on the phone. Basically, a huge waste of my time. Will never go back.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!! This place sucks...they took off more paint than a sandblaster trying to put tires on rims. They used crowbars and threw wheels on the ground. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!! Really!!! They gouged the metal on the wheels!!! They shouldnt let minimum wage workers touch $1000 wheels!!!!

The worste experience ever with trying to get a new tire.. they are arrogant and cocky and do not have any professionalism about them at all... their prices are high.. if I could mark zero stars I would don't waste your time with these shady people go down the road to Laporte towing company they have awesome service and a huge selection of tires.. their prices are awesome and their professionalism is top notch..

Stopped in 30 min before closing to try and fix a bent rim and mount a new tire. I though i would drop it off and pick it up tomorrow. However, not only did they unmount the tire to tell me the the rim was ok but also found a good used tire to mount so i didnt have to pay for a new one. I really didnt need the wheel that quick but i extremely appericate their quick turnaround and effort to save me money.

I had a flat tire on I-80 Sunday evening. The tire went flat due to damage during installation when purchased at another tire service center. Luke showed me the damage and how it likely occurred. He also gave me his contact information and stated to please have the original shop contact him in case the original installer gave any push back regarding replacement/reimbursement. I couldn't ask for more outstanding help and service from a shop. Shaffner Tire Services had us repaired and back on the road within 30 minutes.

Had tires put on 6 months ago, recently got a flat, went to change tire, all of the tire studs had rolled threads and one lug nut almost wouldn't come off (stud threads mashed and missing). Car is 2015, they replaced factory tires. No one else has touched these wheels. Can't imagine what the other tire studs look like. Way too much torque by non trained employee. Stupid.

They'll change ANY size tire except bicycle tires also do oil changes and minor auto repair. If you're not from the area it's a little hidden but it's not that hard to find just stop and ask someone! You won't be disappointed at all!

Customer service here is non existent by the management. Went in to get an alignment and I thought those came standard with greasing my baby joints. Ball joints are dry. Also, I watched the technician pull my vehicle out of the bay without test driving to ensure the alignment was done correctly. Let's just say I won't be using this service ever again.

My rear brakes went out and I had to wait for a tow...they were able to fix my brakes and they stayed an hour past closing to make sure I had my car for work the next day...thank you to Travis, his father and to the mechanic that stayed to ensure I had my truck!! Came in with Semi truck for tire repair, got out walked back to them and spoke, "hey how are you guys doing", all 3 ignored me and continued looking at my tire. I went back to the truck and sat down. After 30 mins or so without any work being done a woman from the office ask me did they tell you that you were done, I said no, no one has said a word. She well you are done. Now im reading a lot of positive reviews but I am an African American trucker, not sure if they played a role but I did see they were conversing with other customers. I'm just sharing my experience. Usually a pretty good place to get tires and have been coming here for 40 years. However, when they put a new tire on my pickup, they placed the spare back underneath the truck (without my request), breaking the shaft that lifts and lowers the spare. Recently had a flat and couldn't lower the spare, thus needing a tow to a nearby garage. Politely asked for tow reimbursement and I was met with unfriendly responses. Will not be returning to shaffner due to the risk of them damaging any more of my vehicles.

Went in with a tire leaking air. Told them I wasn't sure if there was a hole somewhere, or if the bead needed fixing. Well, they took the latter as a statement of what the problem was instead of a suggestion. Was there maybe 10 minutes, and was promised it wasn't going to go flat anymore. 5 minutes after pulling out of their parking lot and my tire pressure sensor was glowing. I thought maybe it wasn't aired up, they were busy, okay whatever. Stopped at the gas station and took care of it. Several hours later, it had lost 10 pounds of air. Problem wasn't fixed, and I feel like they were more concerned with getting people in and out as quickly as possible instead of properly diagnosing the issue. Sure, they said they grinded? The bead, and that that had indeed been the issue. It wasn't. Took it to Stan's the next morning, a Sunday, and mechanic looked it and found a huge metal piece had been lodged in my tire. I doubt I had gotten that after pulling out of their lot five minutes after I did. It had been in there deep, so I'm assuming, more than 12 hours. Which tells me your mechanic did not do their job, and y'all just wanted to be out of there because it was a beautiful Saturday, and you close at 12. And I had called and left a message stating all of this right before going to Stan's, and it's Thursday now and haven't heard anything. Your customer service is terrible, they way everything felt rushed is incredibly unprofessional, as well as not dealing with a complaint straight away. I was giving you the benefit of a doubt because I understand how busy a shop can be. But this was just mishandled from the get go, and no, I am not happy I wasted my time and money.

My wife had a blow out due to a pot hole late one afternoon, I called him maybe 5-10 minutes before they closed and he still took the time to look up the tire I wanted and gave me a good honest price for it. Had an alignment done with them. I explained clearly multiple times to adjust the upper control arms and not the lowers. I even provided the factory instructions as to how to accomplish the task. They did exactly what I didn’t want them to do. Called the next day to talk to them about what needed to happen and he was incredibly rude as what needed to be done. On top of it they scratched the grill up really bad which I have no idea how they managed that doing an alignment! I have a lot of time and money in this vehicle and am quite disappointed in this company’s abilities and staff. Avoid this company!

I arrived 10 min early for my appointment and was sitting in my truck with my dinner in my lap when the owner came out and said " I hate to kick you outta your truck but we gotta get moving here." So I finished my burger standing in the parking lot. Very Nice! I should be fair and say everyone working there was sick with some bug that they affectionately shared and now I'm sick... at least Now I understand why he was crabby. Not my kind of customer service, I won't be back.
