Have used both J-R's Tires locations for many years. Jeff and his team at Michigan Road helped me 4 times the past 2 months as I had nails/screws in my tires I drive thru construction sites. They are more qell know for tire repairs and used tire replaceme ts, but I found them Honest, Dependable and Very Cost Competitive on recently purchased "New" tires at 1/2 the cost of Traditional Tire Retailers and Big Box Stores like WM.

I had a great experience with J-R's. I drove to them with 2 flat back tires. I only had to wait about 5 minutes and they started working on my car. I didn't even have to get out! That meant a lot for me since I had 2 small children with me. Getting in and out with a 6 and 2 year old is not easy, so I'm very thankful for not having to get out. I paid a little more than I had expected but I'd rather pay than be stuck with 2 flats!

Called JRs Used Tires shop yesterday after having a tire I couldn't keep inflated more than a few days. When I got there, they got right to my tire and had me out of there in less than 20 minutes or so. Price was terrific and the service is the best I have seen. The man who got my order was very friendly. Also, the younger man who installed the tire in the garage was very respectful and wished me a blessed day as I left. Keep up the Good work, guys!

This business doesn't deserve any stars! My fiancé went Friday to get my two front tires replaced. JR and his team took my old tire off and and cracked the rim before putting the new tire on. That same tire went completely flat while driving on the highway with our 1 year old daughter. We went there today; Monday and they argued that it was already cracked from ( a pot hole) ect. I had never had any problems with the front passenger tire before they changed it- if the rim was already cracked, the old tire would have went flat all the time and it didn't. They argued that the old tire sealed the rim, if that was the case ( and it wasn't) why would you let someone leave the lot; knowing the dangers. Better yet, with a crack that noticeable, why would you not leave the old tire on there before making matters worse. They wanted to make a quick buck! They cracked the rim and did nothing to try and reconcile their mistake! I would never recommend anyone going to JR Tires!

I think this is the second time I’ve left a review but oh well. This place is fantastic. High quality used tires at a great price win great service. I’ve used them for years for multiple cars, trucks, and my bands tour van. Best tire shop in Indy hands down. Recently I had to go to a different shop by my work for a safety concern on a tire (didn’t want to to travel here because of distance) and the other shop messed me up! I’m always coming to JR’s and as long as I’m in the indy area, always will. I live further away from it now and other shops are closer, but this one hands down has been the best.

This place is very good and dependable!!! Came out of work on a 90+ degree day to find a FLAT tire on my car, luckily the parking garage had a air compressor but still had to have it checked out. So I drove straight down Washington St. to Jr's Tire. Must have been a bad day for tired cause there were about 5-6 people ahead of me. Finally we found out it was the valve stem which he replaced very quickly and God bless their hearts they didn't even charge me cause of the wait... Those hard working men with the sun just roasting them did it just out of kindness. Huge shout out to those techs for being there to save the day. Thank you so much and I sure do appreciate your generosity

Changed my tire quickly and well. Good folks. Edit: My husband just went to get another tire changed. Arrived before 5:30 because he called me at 5:21 to tell me this. As he pulled in he saw two workers pulling out. They stopped and told him they were closed. He tried to explain that the internet said they closed at 5:30. Before he could finish his sentence, the other one shouted belligerently, "CLOSED!" and they drove off. I understand it was within a half hour of closing time, but there is no need to be rude. We have been loyal customers both at J.R.'s and RipeN'Ready before it shut down. Easily spent over $300 between the two. Not including the times I've referred family to them. We will probably need at least three more tires before we finally move out of the city, but we will just drive a little further and find another place.

Go here!! J-R's is the best and cheapest AND quickest tire shop around. I stopped by on my way home from work around 4 and he had my tire replaced, balanced, and installed within 45 min. All of that was only $38, and for a full set of used is around $175-200; brand new would be under $400. I wanted to make a Nascar joke because it was truly so fast. I told them I thought this place would be in a rough neighborhood and he responded with: "We put God first around here." All super nice guys working there. Also had plenty of fresh apples for free right by the door.

I've been going to these guys for years. Multiple cars, multiple tire sizes. Never had a bad experience. The same guy has been running it forever now, and he is a business man. He won't sell you a tire if it isn't suitable to be on your vehicle. He puts a "30 day warranty" on your tires, but between us all...if it's day 31 they will work with you. I paid $160 (including tax) for all 4 of my tires, but even if you only need one...you get the presidential treatment. First come first serve, but it's worth the wait. Great service, fair prices, and an owner who is humble to the community around him. I definitely recommend you give them a call for your used and new tire needs. Yeah, they're doing new tires too apparently!

The man changed my tire in easily low 20 degree temperatures while I sat in my warm car. - A year and a half later the tire is still on the car and doing well. I tipped the man a 5 for his work. Call ahead to see if they have your tire size, but if they do it's well worth it.

Got a tire taken off a rim & new one put on (Nice tire btw) for $33 as well as balanced (Without telling me was supposed to be $35 w/o balance). I think they took the price off for balancing the tire & a couple bucks for the tire itself cause I got screwed over at another shop. I didn't notice this til I got home and looked at the receipt. So I highly recommend them, will be going here again if I need to.

Got a Nail in my tire and shopped around. goodyear was trying to get me for 200 dollars and i had to wait till the next day. JR's had the tire in stock by luck and it was the same brand and type of my previous tire. i was in and out in 20 mins. talked it up with the guy and charged me a fourth of what goodyear was asking. also talked and they can order brand new tires for half the price of goodyear too. All In All I think i found my new Tire place.

There is a reason this place is rated so highly by so many people and that reason is the individuals who work here. They are beyond helpful and friendly and very fast at getting your car good to go. Not to mention that they probably have the most competitive prices in the area for this service. I got a new tire from here to replace a flat and two weeks later I notice a bulge in the sidewall, likely from a pot hole. I called to ask about the warranty, not expecting much, and while pothole damage is not covered, the gentleman who runs this place went out of his way to get the new tire ordered, delivered, and replaced again all within a matter of hours at a very fair discount.

Jr's tires has a wonderful and very professional staff at both locations West Washington or west in Street. The tires are of extremely high quality had a very affordable price. They also sell really good clean reconditioned batteries for your car as well. This is both an opportunity to address either a tire or battery issue with your car and also an opportunity to do good for the community as JR also runs Dalton's food pantry. Buy a tire feed a family. It will also get new tires if you prefer.

Due to a rare size tire, I couldn't find one in Indianapolis that was under $100, until I found JR's. From the second I got there and until the moment I left, they were very friendly and attentive. It turned out, there is another size tire that works and was $10 cheaper. They easily couldn't charged me the extra ten dollars and gave me the cheaper tire but Bryan didn't. These ignorant nobodies put a snow tire on my girlfriend's car when she needed a new tire although the other 3 tires were not snow tires. When we went back to confront them about it, they flat out denied that it was their tire. Now I've heard from several people that when they screw up they never take the blame. Don't trust this place with your ride, therefore you and your families safety.

The first time they put the wrong size tire on my van and refused to change it this second time they gave me a bad tire.. this is 3 days after we got it and this vehicle only goes one mile to work and back home and no potholes have been hit. Been going here for 10 years!! I use to spend $400-500 every couple years for 4 tires and the hassle of a big tire place. JR's is professional, courteous, and priced right! Yes they are used, but NEW. These are returns or barely used, NOT RETREAD! NEVER have I had a problem with any tire there. ONCE I had a valve stem problem because of something they did and they made it right SAME DAY N/C of course! Christian owned and managed. Want to be treated fair and not ripped off from a high priced store paying top dollar for their commercials, go here! I am usually in and out in 20-30 minutes for tires.

I've been going to JR's for for more than 20 years and I've never been let down. They are good people, honest and friendly. They always have good used tires at a very reasonable price. You won't have to wait long for them to install them either, they are much faster than the big name tire shops. Only took about 20 minutes to get all 4 tires replaced on my last visit.

I could not be more pleased with my experience at JR’s! Went there looking for a replacement for a single Cooper tire. They didn’t have an exact replacement, so Matt suggested a Michelin in the same size. I ended up buying two so they matched on the axle. $77 for the two, mounted, new stems, and balanced. Friendly service. Great experience.

I had been going to this shop a while. 4 out of 5 times I left impressed. My last visit they lost one of my tire pressure sensors. When I approached them with the issue the worker claimed that I didn't come in with one even though the sensor is what told me my pressure was low! He even stated prior that he had to get me a new valve stem because they couldn't find the one that came with it. I was disappointed because usually they are pretty solid guys. I'm not the type to place blame if something is my fault but they were clearly wrong here. Overall I would still recommend them because they have the best service of any used tire spot I've ever been to. They can also order new tires at a competitive price. Be careful if you have a vehicle with tire pressure sensors though and make sure you let them know before they remove your tire.

If I could give no stars I would. Pulled up to the shop just minutes ago and asked to pay for air in my tires. I was refused because of the condition of my tires. He told me that all of my tires are too bald and that I should buy a new set in order for him to put some air in the tires. That’s the most despicable, ignorant, worthless, upsell experience that I’ve ever had in any establishment. I would suggest to go to a tire shop right around the corner Named “Meza Rodriguez tire shop” on 16th (.5 miles away) they gave me air without hesitation and didn’t let me get back on the road without it, and they took great care of me and had really good customer service. Don’t go to JR’s and give that scumbag any of your hard earned money. He’d rather let you get back on the road and unsafe conditions then help with something as simple as air.

I have been going to JR's on 10th street for years whenever I need a tire in a hurry, and they always come through. I always call ahead of time just to make sure they have the kind of tire for my vehicle, and they usually do. Today was no exception, I had a nail in one tire and my spare on the other, and they got me taken care of real quick! They are always extremely friendly and get you in and out when they aren't packed with people, which usually in the summertime they are. JR is usually at this location, and he is a very friendly man. They have very good prices as well, their prices did drop even lower awhile back, but I noticed today there was a sign stating as of December 10th they are back to the older pricing, which still isn't bad at all, still very cheap. Best place hands down to get cheap used tires in a crunch.

Matt and the folks at JR do an excellent job with any tire repair, rotation and installation of new tires. Really nice folks.. You don't have to wait long to get repairs or service done. No high pressure sales tactic. No slick salesmen. I purchased tires for my SUV two years ago and they have rotated them at no charge. The tires are holding up much better than more expensive, heavily advertised tires.

I've been using JR's Used Tires for the last several years. I have a hard time paying these big tire stores hundreds of dollars for new tires. These guys hook me up with great tires and they warranty them for 30 days. I only had an issue one time and it turns out that it was my rim and not their fault. They however broke the tire down and fixed the issue at no cost to me. That's great customer service! I highly recommend this place of business. Bring a few non perishable item for the food pantry. They work for our community too!

This place is now the only place I will ever go for tires, ever! New or used! Great customer service great products and crazy fair prices! On a Saturday I had a tire go bad and I could barely drive on it so I called around and found JR's and even though they close at 2pm on saturdays and I didnt get there on until ten til and they already had a line with at least 5 cars in front of me the guy running the place "josh" told me that he would make sure I was taken care of and they stayed after until 3 to get everyone taken care of. You can tell they care! And the total price of the tire and install was so affordable I was able to get two tires in the front instead of just replacing the one bad one so they would be even! Like i said I'll never go anywhere else and I'll never send anyone anywhere else! Thanks again guys!
