I brought my wife's car in for a simple tire rotate and balance - the person helping me was very thorough and made sure to let me know where her tires were for tread, which was very helpful. The service itself was FREE! I imagine this is to entice people into purchasing future tires from them, and it worked - I have every intention of going back to Discount Tire when replacing her tires.

This place has progressively gotten worse over the past year. Last two visits spent 4 hours in the lobby. Went in for a Tire Rotation and Balance. And be mindful of your place in the waiting order or they will sneak in one of their little buddies in front of you. Unless you rather spend half a day on a 80 dollar oil change go to another location.

Husband's boss recommended Tire Engineers in Jackson, so this is really 2 positive reviews in one! It was easy to make an appt online and Joseph called us right back. He listened to our particular needs and came up with a suggested purchase that matched our budget. He even came up with a $70 rebate. $10 off more bc of online appt. Joseph kept us apprised of the progress while the car was there. By lunch time, it was ready. We weren't pressuring them to get it done quick, but it just was. After all, safety and a happier work environment for them is my priority. We also probably soaked a bunch of Joseph's time while we were there bc we just chatted too much. Even so, Joe kept all the balls in the air--we will DEFINITELY be back again and we hope not to waste so much of their time and attention next time! : )

I went to get my tire repaired here because I saw that they offer free tire repair (IF it can be safely repaired). They took my tire and worked on it (I sat at the glass and watched him work on it.) I saw the technician leave and go work on another car. Then, a different person came out and told me that my tire can't be fixed. He tried to show me the damage that would indicate it can't be fixed, but I was skeptical of what he was saying. He tried to sell me another tire, but I declined. They didn't even put my tire back on the rim, just put it in my trunk and told me to have a nice day. I went to receive a second opinion from a local mechanic who told me that my tire was perfectly fine as it was. He noticed that they DID in fact patch my tire. ??? What I gathered from my experience is that Discount Tire will do work for you halfway, and that's when they bring in the catch - without completing their work, so you feel on the hook. Thankfully the local mechanic could put my tire back on my rim and let me be on my way. Thank goodness for honest mechanics, and stay away from any who aren't!! I surely will never return to Discount Tire.

They installed 4 tires I purchased from them. One cap is scratched with holes where the cap release is and another cap is warped, so it keeps popping out. I showed Juan and his response was, "Well, it's old. What do you want us to do about it?" Both were fine when I drove in. If you see previous reviews, they apparently have employees that like to use whatever is laying around the shop, instead of the proper tools for the job. They admitted to breaking a sensor and replacing it, so who knows what's going on here. Also, somehow I drove in straight and drove out pulling bad to the right. Read previous reviews about Juan.

Went to get two tires and an alignment today and my experience was very good. Steven took my order and was extremely polite and nice; gave me recommendations, Eric continually checked the status of my car to make sure everything was going as planned and kept me updated, and Gerald made sure me and my vehicle was taken care of from the time I arrived until I left. The place is a bit busy so I recommend going early in the morning instead of the evening.. The crew in the back were also nice; keep up the good work everyone!! Yall honestly work hand and hand to make sure customers are satisfied and your customers service skills are top notch.

Beware of a small print disclaimer! I have trusted this place for years. Bought 4 Michelin tires from them a few years ago for an AWD vehicle supposedly with 90K mile warranty. This is a car rarely driven. Rotated tires every 6000 miles, car is well cared for. When they rotated they did not crisscross which is necessary for AWD. Under 30K miles and 3 yrs later tires worn needing get replacement.!! Discount tires say tires never last for full warranty AND THE SMALL PRINT STATES THEY DO NOT WARRANTY PAST 3 YEARS!! What good is it. Will NEVER buy from them again. Intend to contact Michelin. Maybe they are in this thing together. WHAT A SCAM. They did give me a nominal prices break to replace the 2 worst tires.

They may be good for getting tires and oil changes, but I DO NOT recommended them for mechanic work. My serpentine belt was squealing, and they told me my A/C compressor was locking up and had to be replaced. I'm no genius, but if a compressor is locking up, the A/C doesn't work, mine clearly did. I paid the diagnostic fee and didn't let them touch my car, and left as quick as I could. Took my car to another shop. It was not the A/C compressor, It was the tensioner pulley. This place tried to scam me out of a $1000. If a mechanic can't tell the difference between a bad A/C compressor and a bad tensioner pulley, they shouldn't be working on cars. But I have a feeling they knew it wasn't the compressor. They need to stick to tires and oil changes. What a terrible place. They were nice, but not $1000 extra worth of nice.

Based on a recommendation by my aunt, I went in to Discount Tire in Derby, KS because my lawn mower tire came completely unseated. My wife called and talked to Michael and he told us to bring it in and he'd look at it. I brought the tire in and I was in and out in 5 minutes. Michael didn't charge us a dime! He said it was such an easy fix there was no reason to charge. While waiting it was obvious that they genuinely care about their customers. Their simple act of taking care of a customer and not trying to squeeze out every dime like other companies has won them a customer for life.

I had to get my struts changed and do am alightnment and got two tires. I paid $600. The next day my car went up in smoke and something burst in my car. I took it back there and they tried charging me a $90 diagnostic fee then proceeded to tell me my bypass hose had given out and i need to change it and get my belt replaced and flush my coolant for $503. which i came to find out was a lie because i took it to a mechanic who said someone poked a hole in while under the car. Worst experience ive ever had at a car repair place. I highly recommend to stay away. they will act sincere at first but once you need there help with something they screwed up they act like they dont know you

Be mindful of the free tire leak fix offer. Most are likely legit but they will pitch an entire new tire on you based on damage or wear. I will say though that the manager offered to give me a free tire to get home and get it fixed in town hours away so I can't be too tough on them. They forgot to replace my custom stem cover and I was 200 miles away before I realized but they did offer to make it right if I came in. I gotta give it four because of the above just because it was so busy and I was a walk in when it was like -20 at the time. That means they're very busy. Otherwise this is a 3 star experience. That phone did not stop ringing for the almost 2+ hours we were there. If you had a tire place on that weekend you were busy.

This is the first discount tire center where I have been where they make you wait hours because you do not have an appointment. The agent Jewan did not inform me that there was a 2 hour wait. When I asked another attendant about it he suggested that he could refund me my money and I can come back another day to make an appointment. So buyer beware THIS discount tire is not accomodating to walk ins. You need to make an appointment to get serviced as you would any other discount tire shop. THIS discount tire just lost a customer. I will drive to Hinsdale, Illinois (45 minutes away from me in Indiana) to get my car serviced.Very disapponted!

ABSOLUTE CRIMINALS ! DO NOT GO TO DISCOUNT TIRE IN HIGHLAND INDIANA! While they were installing 4 brand new Nitto Ridge grapplers on my truck, they scratched my wheels because the pot head employee named Joel used an improper pocket knife/allen wrench tool. Every rotation they made with the wrong tool rubbed up against my rims. Causing scratches through the clear coat and paint. But what do they care. The propper tool is supposed to be a single long allen wrench that is used to install the deep center caps on my rims. Not a generic multi tool pocket knive. While i was here i observed Juan the assistant manager doing a drug deal in the parking lot. Will the manager endorses this ludacris and criminal behavior to take place. While i was trying to confront Joel the Pot Head about using the wrong tool to to remove my center caps i could smell the stench of marijuana on him. I also overheard Juan the assistant manager telling Joel that he was to high to be working on my truck. Upon my research i have found that Discount tire has a policy to employ Sex Offenders for tax write off purposes. I will never in my life be doing business with such a disgusting place of business like Discount Tire

Dry rotted BF GOODRICH tires with only 34,000 miles on them and no credit and they have 70,000 mile warranty ! When purchased in 2013 in Arizona and came home for good i found out they where new but sat in a warehouse for 4 years before they where ever mounted on the rims the car only has 70,000 miles at the moment. They do not stand behind there product.

Not only was the work $80 cheaper than anywhere else I was quoted in town, they were friendly and knowledgeable and did very thorough work. The tires were torqued to spec with a torque wrench and not an impact gun, and everything, including the tire pressure, was documented on the receipt.

Ive been to this location once before, and my second time was amazing. I rolled up for a free air check, and to drop off some rims for a new set of Falkens for my truck. Ended up getting one of my tires repaird because there was a nail or something in it causing a slow leak. Christian did a excelent job of getting all of my contact information, and had me in and out the door with my repair. This location is staffed with the most professional in the industy, and you get the level of service that you do here comparable to Mercedes.

Brought some wheels in that a competitor had balanced for us that had a shake. These guys fixed it as best they could without having to remount the tires. They weren't sure if it was fixed since the heavy side of tires and heavy side of rims weren't lined up properly by other tire place, so they didn't charge us for the extra weights they had to use. Well, the shake is gone now, so thank you! You will be my recommended and goto tire place from now on!!

Have had nothing but good experiences with discount tire in several locations and several different states until today. This store seems extremely unorganized and they are incredibly slow. I was waiting at their door at 8 am with a blown out tire that I had purchased a little over a month prior. They replaced the tire but had to wait till the afternoon to get the new tire in from the warehouse. Was told if I leave my wheel and blown out tire with them for the day while I was at work that when the new tire arrived early afternoon they would get it mounted on my wheel and when I come back in after work all that would needed done was to throw it on my truck. NOT the case at all I showed up was greeted by a super new employee who couldn’t do more than enter my phone number in the system then waited 15-20 min for someone who knew what was going on to help. Then took a while for them to find my new tire as they weren’t sure if it got delivered even though I was told to leave my wheel with them and as soon as the new one got in they would get it squared away. Long story short my new tire was still sitting somewhere in their shop not on my wheel like they had promised and what I was told would be no time at all ended up being well over an hour. Only thing positive about this specific location was they replaced the tire but they are slow and make a promises with a smile but didn’t follow through! If IN THE WICHITA/DERBY AREA ITS DEFINITELY WORTH THE EXTRA DRIVE TO THE 21st and RIDGE STORE WAY BETTER SERVICE! Side note another customer in the lobby was unhappy and told me he had been sitting waiting for 2 hours!

Even though I only replaced my tires, I no longer have the plastic manifold that goes covers my engine's spark plugs. The windshield wiper fluid cap was off and my fluid was empty after my visit. None of this makes any sense, considering I was only there for tires. Plus, even their tires are over priced, especially in comparison to other Discount Tires in nearby areas. I wouldn't say to avoid this location, as maybe some idiot, and that idiot alone was responsible for the odd and disrespectful treatment of my vehicle. But I would recommend searching elsewhere before taking any vehicle to this subpar Discount Tire store.

Every time I interact with a Discount Tire I am glad I use them for my tires. Everyone is always so friendly, professional, and helpful. Their service is quick and effective and most of the time free if you bought your tires there. I noticed tire noise on the highway during a trip and stop by this Discount Tire to get a rotation and balancing. They were very happy to do it free and it only took around 30 minutes.

This place is incredible. Super professional, clean, and they go so far above and beyond. December 22, 2017 I had tire issues going on that had been on going. I brought in my car with $102 in my pocket. I was super concerned with the cost as I’m a pay check to paycheck person and had already put in hundreds of dollars elsewhere in tires. This man took my keys, told me not to worry that they would figure it out. 45 minutes later he came out with my keys, told me what had needed to be fixed, and that they fixed it all, and to have a merry Christmas! Just like that. No cost. These guys are my angels. They didn’t have to do that and yet they did. I promised I’d send all referrals to them and next time I ever needed work I’d be back. I know this is a super late rating, but I wanted people to know this is a place that the mechanics ARE NOT trying to manipulate you. Unlike so many other places. Go here. I promise you will be happy.

I went in for a wheel balance. I had just rotated my tires and had a shake in the front. I was immediately told I needed new tires before they took the car in the back and a balance would be a waste of money. My tread depth was 5/32. This is where you need to prepare for needing new tires but they are not required yet. I insisted they just do the $20 balance. The tech comes and tells me he can’t balance my tire as it’s a tire problem. I told him to balance it anyways. I left and my car still had the shake. I took it else where and it was fixed. This place lied to try and sell me tires I didn’t need yet. Even the other place I went to said my tires were fine but be prepared to buy new ones at my next rotation. I’ll never do business again with such a shady operation!

Tires took 8 days to arrive at location after I had an appointment for Monday.. Came in on Wednesday to install once they were in and then waited for 2 and a half hours to get tires installed after being told to come back in 40 minutes and they would be done. They broke my chrome caps on my wheel hub, which are $25 a piece. Then the guy threw it away because it was broken without asking if I wanted it to fix it. Very annoyed with this place and will definitely go somewhere else for my remaining tires :)

Why doesn't this place have a 5 star? These guys are awesome! My wife and I bought a set of new tires for her van and within a couple minths she ran over a nail in a place that could not be patched. I did not buy the warranty but they still worked with me in price of a new tire that was insanely cheap! They even let us borrow a correct sized tire to run until the new tire came in. In the end I bought a warranty 2nd time around. You can't go wrong with this place.

Way overpriced and horrible service! I manage a tire repair shop for a living. Pulled up here at 5, they close at 6, guy with “death is not the end” tattoo on his forearm tried to send me to another tire shop because he said they were cheaper. Told him I didn’t want to ruin my tire trying to drive it there. He then proceeds to tell me they can’t repair it because of where it was, I told it could easily be repaired, he called his tech over and his tech agreed with me. They pulled me in the shop, waited about 10 minutes for them to start with two employees standing out their personal vehicles who were joined by tattoo forearm manager guy and two other techs sitting on buckets in the shop. Earl proceeds to repair my tire. He gets done and I asked if they re-balance with repair. He says no. I said how much to do it? He said he would do it for free. Leaves my tire .25 oz out of balance and outs back on. Go inside and pay my bill, $35.24 to repair a car tire! On invoice it shows tire repair with balance included for $14.99. Then it shows TPMS service pack with labor for $6.99 that I can almost guarantee did not get serviced and another $9.99 for a computer balance package. Don’t take your vehicle to this horrible establishment!!!!!

Awful Customer Service. Waited 30-40 min in line to get my quote. No apologies for wait. Just excuses about being busy. I get that, but I would have been fine if he had just acknowleged my wait and frustration instead of making excuses. Had the tire I needed but they charge around $30 per tire on top of that for installation. Left and went to Riverbend tire down the street which had similar tire and price but no installation fee and great customer service. They had me in and out with a new tire installed in less than 15 min. Tire Engineers has poor customer service and higher prices than their competitors. That is not a good combination for a business.

Was in town for a funeral, needed tires. Folks here did everything they could do to make sure my car was taken care of in the least amount of time I've ever spent in a Discount Tire. Wish I could transport this location home with me. (also, always always always buy the certificates. You'd be dumb not to - I've had four or five road hazard replacements and every single tire I've ever had gets mileage prorated when I buy new ones.)

Today while on the way to a car dealership for a regular oil change my "tire pressure alarm" went off conveniently only 3 miles from the dealership. So during the oil change they "diagnosed" the tire saying "you picked up a screw and it's too close to wall to repair. We can replace it for..." I've always had good prices on my oil changed and even on some repairs. I've never had a reason to doubt a diagnosis although I do get 2nd opinions and competitive quotes. So... After choking on their expensive price of over $217.00 I called Discount Tire in Derby, KS where I get all my tires at. Amazingly this "probably not driveable" made it just fine down the road to Discount Tire. Jeremy and Ken run a good shop, very straightforward and honest! Their conclusion... a bead leak which they repaired at no cost... I had also checked prices at WalMart and they were competitive with Wal Mart's "cheap" prices too!

Needed 4 tires on my wife's Civic. Tire Engineers quoted me almost $300 more than Gateway for the same size tire. Tried to sell their $199 alignment for $99. Gateway's alignment is $69 if you need it and they don't nickle and dime you for balancing, mounting and rotating. Two businesses offering the same products and services shouldn't be that far off in price. Hope this helps someone else.

They are pretty good. I recommend that you watch during your installation if you get anything other than a replacement. I was getting snow tires put on and they were discarding the ones on my vehicle. I mentioned that I was keeping them to one of the techs and they had to go back and retrieve them. So, just keep an eye on them if your are swapping sets of tires. Otherwise, they have the usual down with no issue.

Called the store today at 2:15 pm and was quoted $90 including installation of the tire and tax. We came down and my husband was quoted $140. When I went in to question the gentleman, he explained that the computer system says the common tire they "always carry" was instock but when he physically checked it was not. He could not give me a clear answer on why there was a difference in quotes. Waste of time and gas. Do not recommend. Thank you for your poor customer service.

Had been shopping online, and like that they give military and first responders a 10% discount. I had pretty much decided on the brand I was going with (Pathfinder S A/T). Did a little more research, and found the tires for 8 bucks less per tire, which they matched plus the 10% discount. I called, and set an appointment. The folks there were more than happy to answer any questions, and got me out the door in about an hour. Something else they do, free flat repair and rotations, even if you didn't buy the tires from them. I will definitely be back to get tires for my wife's car.

Took my vehicle in early around 6:45 am. Doors were already open to three other customers but from my understanding they open up at 7 am. I went to them for convenience, given the job I needed to be done. I was pick up by my ride at 7:45am and we noticed that my car was being driven by one of the servicemen to "test drive" as we left the parking lot trying to find issues that I didn't mention. All I needed was front brakes installed. I got a call about 9:20 at this time the job should have been done or near finished, uh no, car was no where to be found. I assume they went joy riding again. Because during the call the guy is trying to sell me with radiator flushing and saying that I need rear rotors. I could've bust him out on the phone then because I've already had rear rotors put on less that two months ago and the brakes being ceramic as well. But I simply said I'll take care of it later. When my car appeared out of no where ( oh yeah I walked out and around the building) they didn't even start until 3 hours later. I asked one of the maintenance guys what's the info on why my car was just sitting there as he ate his hamburger sitting on the lift where my car was placed on. He says the guy who's work(ing) on my vehicle was on lunch. Pure and utter disregard to getting me out in a decent time. I'm pissed by this time due to their incompetence of customer service and the valuable time that was wasted you can see it in my face, as I was just staring at the car, which in turn angered them with certain subtleties to let me know I can be mad all I want they control my time. People who I had seen come in are leaving before me and with more work to be done in theirs. People who weee after me showing up are long gone. A simple front brake assembly is taking forever, really?? Let's not forget that on the phone the car was "in the air" and he said he can show me if I were to make it up there during that time on what other thing are needed. They over charged me, something they were looking forward to, because the service was going to be a flat 120$ from what was told to me a day before on the phone. They wanted to chargers much as they could for hourly labor. So by now my car has been in their hands for 6 hours. I made it back there at 9:30 and didn't leave until 1:40 ish. I didn't receive my military discount that I mention that was advertised on the monitor on their grounds. One guy looked at me and started doing gymnastic dips using the counter as if he were to send a message to me that hey look I'm buff and I don't care if your mad with us. Not intimidating at all because reporting these clowns to the BBB will be more satisfying than giving him more piercing looks because I'm late for two appointments (had to cancel) and late to pick up my son from my mom's to go to the fair that was in town. What a waste of valuable resources and poor customer service. One last thing, when I was being rung up, the guys favorite phrase is "ok we got you" in turn I said "you sure did". This is this salesman "huh?" so I had to say it twice cause he couldn't believe that I had the gumption, as if I were an idiot and wasn't supposed to catch on to their folly and shenanigans. My car came back with a whobbly steering wheel because they knocked the weights off to try to get me to purchase rear rotors. How do I know you ask? I took it to get balanced at MJ's tire and had to put on weights that balanced it back to how they originally had them. Yes they did the balance long time ago but remembered me. They mentioned that the weights were missing. Not all, but just a couple. There was a slash in my rear right tire that was noticed that day but whose to say when that happened i.e. during Tire Center's joyride sessions or by them tampering with it in which there was no need to do. I'd let that go because who knows. Front brakes is all I needed to be placed on there plus I had brought my own ceramic brake pads. A 1 1/2 hr job took 6. Avoid this place please, I was very displeased, which is an understatement.

Chris the store manger is awesome, I changed the 2 front tires 2 days ago, the next day I heard a weird noise from the rear tires when I stopped back they checked the rear tires and they were bad and one of the both was unsafe to drive with. Started off well, did my research and found two brands I was interested in. Sales rep let me know my second choice was in stock and was a better tire. Got in right away, took about 2 hours which is quick for them, I've been told. Had to replace a damaged wheel, I purchased from dealer. Got car back and wheel alignment all over the place, find out they don't do wheel alignments but will warranty a tire for 80,000. Took it over to Granite City Tire and Auto for alignment and rebalnce. They found none of the wheels were balanced, and another wheel damaged on the inside that wasn't possible to balance. This had been placed on the front passenger with out acknowledging me about it. Bought a new wheel and explained them the situation. Charged 20 to swap the replacement wheel and balance. Was told an hour, going on 3 hours and car still hasn't moved from the lot. Cheaper to go to the shops and have it done right the first time.

Easy appointments made online (highly recommended as they are always busy but if you need air, you can pull up without an appointment or even getting out of your car.) Sometimes they even have free tire gauges at the front desk.

I was working in town from Houston and my F550 work truck needed the tires rebalanced. Being the they are 19.5 rim size I was worried that no where in town would be able to do them on short notice. I called Tire Engineers and they said to bring it in. When they were done, the truck drove like, well, not a truck. It was smooth and it didn't vibrate at highway speeds anymore. All of the guys there from the counter to the shop were great to deal with and I am very glad I got the privlige to do so. Salespeople and management are friendly and helpful. Techs are hit or miss. They have, in the past, broken off a lug stud (and lost the wheel lock) and scraped up the paint on my wheels three consecutive times. Dunno if the install techs simply don't care or if throughput is their only concern. Take pictures of your car beforehand--it could save you a lot of money.

Went in there for the first time to get all four tires done, waited over two hours to have my tires put on. The lady ended up giving me a discount because it was ridiculous. I decided to give them another chance and get two tires replaced by them again, waited over an hour (more like an hour and a half) for them to tell me that my tires were not even there the whole time. So, they put some random tires on my car and I was told they would call me when my tires that I ordered were in store. It has been almost a week AND I ENDED UP CALLING THEM. I was told that the tires should be in today or tomorrow. I will update this review on how well my next appointment goes with this establishment. I am for sure not happy.

Please give my special thanks to Brandon at the front counter. Brandon went out of his way to make sure that my vehicle's tire was taken care of in my desperate time of need. On Wednesday, December 20, 2017, I was traveling from Norfolk, Virginia to New Orleans, LA on military orders and I experienced a tire blowout on Interstate 20 westbound in the city of Morton, MS. I called AAA for assistance and the tow truck driver from AAA took off the damaged tire and installed the temporary donut spare tire. He stated to me that the tire was damaged beyond repair and that I would have to purchase a brand new tire. He recommended that I go the this tire and automotive repair facility called "Tire Engineers" in Jackson, MS off of interstate 55. So I drove from Morton, MS to the Tire Engineers facility in Jackson, MS and I was immediately greeted by Brandon after I arrived there approximately 2:30. Brandon went out of his way to find a replacement tire for my 2017 VW Jetta GLI (Hankook Ventus s1 Noble 2, 225/40ZR18 92W) because they did not have this particular tire in stock. Brandon stated to me that he could have this tire delivered to the store by 4:00 that same day. Brandon's excellent customer service and professionalism was above outstanding. The replacement tire that Brandon ordered for my car actually came in approximately 30 minutes ahead of schedule. As soon as the tire came in on the delivery truck, Brandon made sure that the service technician immediately started the process of taking off the temporary spare donut tire off my car and mounting, balancing, and installing the replacement tire on my car. You made my trip from Norfolk, Virginia to New Orleans very easy and smooth, especially after the blowout that I experienced on interstate 20 West. I was extremely impressed with the speed and quality of the service that Brandon provided to me. Thanks again Brandon and keep up the good work. They pulled the guy off my vehicle to work on people who came in after me. After I went and stood at the desk and started watching my vehicle, the guy said we are a little short handed and went and got the guy to go back to my vehicle. Nope, nope, just nope. Got tires from here twice, but not anymore. Service was decent there, but it is frustrating getting tires from a place and they will balance them, but they don't do alignments. Also, whenever I would stop by for air in my tires it is almost always a very long wait, even if there isn't a line of people for air. I understand they are a busy place, but they need a few more people. Especially when it comes to the phone never getting answered. Why not have someone specific who takes care of that type of thing, similar to a secretary.

Bought 2 new tires and 4 new wheels for a 2011 ford taurus. Not only did they have the size I was needing they were not pushy at all about upping the size. I told them what I wanted and they worked hard to find it no questions asked. FINAL UPDATE: After contacting corporate once more, I was able to get an appointment and have my wheels swapped. That was too much work for what should've been a simple thing. UPDATE 2: The manager never bothered to tell me the tires came in and has not helped me get an appointment to have my tires changed. UPDATE: After calling corporate to file a complaint, they quickly got back to me and will be getting the tires shipping from the warehouse asap. Better but still frustrating that I had to go through hoops for a resolution. AVOID AT ALL COSTS Don't ever get your wheels and tires stored by them. I called and requested them to have them available for pickup. They said okay, it'll be ready next Monday since they get wheels from the warehouse every Monday. Week later, they say it's not ready because it's now every other monday. Two weeks later, I show up, wait for 30+ minutes and then tell me the wheels weren't delivered so now I need to wait another week.

My husband went there to get work done and as we got home something exploded from the hood RIGHT where they were working on it. So we got it to the shop the next morning. Before anything they want to charge us 70 dollars to EVEN LOOK UNDER THE HOOD. After we preceeded to tell them we just left the shop. So he said okay let us look. I went in on 10-7-17 (my first time ever going there) with 4 bald tires, one of which was showing tread. Right off the batt Sean was the one helping me with the tire buying process. This guy is fantastic. Super courteous and bent over backwards to help me out. Funds are super tight for me and I was just gonna get a front set now, and in a few weeks get the rear. Sean worked with me and did everything he possibly could to work a deal for all 4 tires so I would actually drive safe. I ended up walking out with 4 new tires. Safety and customer service is most important to them, and in my experience it really showed. There was a small issue with a newer employee accidentally making a mistake with my car after the new tires were installed. Jeremy the store manager had to get involved, he was very apologetic and super quick to make sure the problem was fixed asap at their expense with no hassle what so ever. Yeah it was a minor inconvenience (we're human, everyone makes mistakes) but the way they took ownership of it and delt with it with no hesitation spoke volumes to me. Definitely a great place with great people who actually care. Even with the problem I encountered, it was still the best experience I've had at a tire shop.

Bought a set of Michelins for my 4runner this week from these guys. Prices were competitive, but the real value is the flexibility of their scheduling, and the quality of the installation. They worked around my schedule, and had me in and out in a hurry. They also have very good equipment, and were even able to use a flange adapter to properly balance my Toyota wheels. I went in with my 5 month old to simply get my tires rotated. The Assistant Manager assisted me. After he went out to look at my tires he started off with "I know you don't want to hear this, many people don't like to hear this..." I knew what was coming, new tires right? Knowing full well that I hadn't driven the car very much bc I stayed home with my newborn most often. So i said "what is it?" He said i needed new tires. I said okay, I'll talk it over with my husband later, I'll just have them rotated now. He said he didn't recommend that bc it wouldn't make a difference. That sounded WAY OFF. I called my husband then I told the assistant manager that my husband still wanted them rotated. The assistant manager said he was not going to do it! My husband tried talking to him via phone, but to no avail. My husband actually came to the shop and spoke to someone else who simply checked the tires and said sure, we'll rotate them. The fiasco took about an hour or so. There weren't many people at all in the shop, maybe business has started to go elsewhere. I see why.

Cross threaded one of my lug nuts and drove it on anyway. Appointments don't mean much here if someone is there before you they get in first. Wife's brand new tires were all out of balance had to go back and have all 4 tires rebalenced .

I've been using Discount Tire in Derby KS. ever since they opened their doors years ago. Fantastic place to do business with! Great work, friendly people, good tires and fast service. We had a full set of Cooper tires put on my pickup and next day took off to Yellowstone National Park towing our camper. On the way we had a problem with one of the new sensors in one of the tires. We spent the night in Ft Collins CO...ate breakfast and started looking for a Discount Tire Store in Ft Collins. No problem, there was one a block away from where we were eating! Pulled in and before I could shut the engine off there was a service rep standing outside my door! They put us at the front of the line...had it fixed in minutes and we were on our way! Today I needed to have the tires rotated on my van that I purchased back in May...the tires were not even purchased from Discount Tire Store but they refused to take payment for the work that they did not matter how much I insisted. The service rep said that this was what they do... it's a part of who they are! Guess where I will be buying new tires for my van when it needs them!?!? Thanks guys for the great work!

I called ahead to set an appointment and told them I just wanted the cheapest tire to replace my flat. They didn't push me into a more expensive tire, and had me in and out in under 30 minutes.

I will start out saying I have bought several tires through them as well as had them service my tires for me for several years now. I want to say that there services has always been great and that there warranties on there tires ( if purchased with a new set of tires) have always been held up on there side. A+ Now for the bad, I will start of saying I went on a limb and bought 5 tires from a company called treadwright. They are a remold ( not a retread, there is a difference look it up on youtube) non the less it is still a chance you take buying remolds. They are there 35" claw mud tires. Now to the point, I made an appointment to have them mounted and ballance on 5 new wheels, and when I got there I dropped the wheels and tires off and went down the street to eat lunch while waiting. It wasn't even 5 mins later they called and told me store manager pulled the plug and said they couldn't mount them because they didn't have the DOT ( department of transportation) stamped on the side of the tire wall. Fair enough. As I was returning I called kansas tire land, (GREAT guys) and told them the scoop and they said they would do it. As I picked the wheels and tires from discount the manager showed me that the tire had the date stamped on the side but no DOT. So loaded them up and went to kansas tire land and dropped them of there and then continued my day. I was called to pick them up and as I arrived the gentleman working the desk took me to the back and showed me that in fact all 5 tires DO have the DOT stamp on them! So this is were the one star comes into play, when the manager at discount showed me the date of tire made he used his OTHER hand to cover the DOT..... They lied to me and instead of telling me HEY we don't feel comfortable doing remolds they had to come up with a lame lie. Because of that they have lost my trust and business. I know this might seem petty to alot of you but if they can lie about a small DOT STAMP on the side what other kind of dirty deals are they doing under the table? As of now I will only deal with kansas land tire thanks.

Don't waste your time going there if your car has EVER had a flat before. They won't fix ANY tire that has been patched previously. Nevermind mine was a light trailer tire and says "For trailer use only" on the sidewall and is not even on a passenger vehicle! They're not about safety, they're about selling you a new tire that you don't need.

Great place to get tires!! All the employees here are awesome and DEFINITELY care about your safety! I had two new tires put on the back a month ago and last night I noticed one was short 20 pounds. Turns out it was pierced by a nail. They plugged it right away and installed it back onto the car for free! Make sure you purchase the warranty when you buy your new tires too!! That way it will cover stupid stuff like that happening later on! Prices are affordable and service is quick if you go during non peak hours, otherwise have patience! They’re busy because they’re great! And they’re doing the best they can!! Thanks everyone

Prices are reasonable, personnel are friendly but be prepared to wait. They appear to be poorly organized which causes extremely long wait times. If you have a warranty repair, it appears that paid services will continue to be a higher priority and bump you down.

Great place for tires! Good prices and love the insurance so if you destroy a tire you get a new one for free and only have to pay new insurance on new tire. Make an appointment and usually out of there in less than an hour. Free tire pressure & inflation, free fixing of flats and free tire rotation! Cannot beat the service for the price! My family's tire shop for sure!
