I had Jim as my salesman and he was very kind lets you take car out by yourself so you get the full feeling. Everything was good low on pressure sales and more about you. It did take a while to get all paperwork done and they throw three warranty options at end but overall very satisfied.

Although this was my first car purchase, I do want to say that other salesmen kept pushing things I clearly wasn't asking for on me at other dealers. Beautiful dealership. We bought our mazda here and by far the nicest dealership we visited. They were competitive on price and pleasant to purchase from. I was very impressed how limited the upselling was. The only thing I was very disappointed in is that the car had grime in it from the car valet or delivery driver. I would have never have presented a car to a potential customer having more than one area with visible mud/dirt on it. Not with 11 miles on the car. They claim its more important to have the car quickly than perfect. I disagree that you never get another first impression. Other than that everyone was pleasant and we did buy the car from there.

Last week I began looking into purchasing a new vehicle and the 2019 Mazda CX-5 GTS really stood out to me. I initiated that usual barrage of emails, calls that ensue after requesting a quote directly from Mazda and True car. Wilkins in Elmhurst is on my way home from work so convenience was important. They also provided a pretty competitive price quote. From start to finish, it was one of the easiest transactions and experiences I've had over the years. Salesman, Joshua Pasturczak was great to work with during the process. That includes all the staff and Glenn from finance too. Really good experience!

We bought a pre-owned Toyota Sequoia from Mike Myers (great name!), and also worked with Rich, the sales manager. Usually, when we walk into a car lot, we feel like prey wandering into a lion's den. Not here though! We felt comfortable and were treated respectfully and fairly. The Sequoia was one of the best available at the time and at one of the best prices. There were a couple of issues, as to be expected with a 2005, but Mike and Rich corrected the couple things we requested and even a couple of things we didn't. 5-star service!

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! If I could give them a 0, I would. I have owned 3 cars and have never had such a horrible experience when shopping for a car. I came in here fully ready to purchase a CX-9. From the moment the sales lady (Maria) spoke to us, she sounded like she did not want to deal with us. When I told her that the car I was interested in was the CX-9 she immediately gave me an attitude and said "well you know that car seats 7 people right," like I was crazy for wanting that SUV. Well, you don't know how many kids I have or how many people travel in my car. Anyway, we went outside to look at more cars and she was completely unorganized. She constantly gave me the wrong pricing information for specific cars and then when I would ask a question she would get annoyed and just say she would "have to check..." but she never checked. I felt extremely uncomfortable asking her questions or even taking my time looking at the SUV's because she was so annoyed the whole time. I stuck it out because my plan was to leave with the CX-9. Then we get back inside and I tell her I am trading in my Mercedes and would like them to give me an estimate. She starts huffing and puffing again but does it. She asks me which SUV's I wanted a quote on while we wait to get the estimate on my Mercedes, I tell her one and then decide to tell her I want the estimate for another one as well and, again, she gives me an attitude saying "well I'm just going to give him one now because he gets frustrated and confused if I give him more." At this point, I'm already frustrated with the terrible customer service, but figured we were almost done. She comes back and basically gives me a speech about how they don't haggle and their internet prices are the best they can do. She also comes back with an estimate for my Mercedes that is $3,000 less than what Carmax offered me!! I mentioned to her that my car is worth $19,000 and she gives me an attitude and makes a slick comment about how they have to make a profit, as if I do not already know that. They were also selling the same CX-9 at Carmax for the same price. Obviously, I was getting the better deal with Carmax, so she brings out the Sales Manager, Rich, who comes out super arrogant and with an attitude as well. They did not want to lower the price on the CX-9 at all, so I said that was fine and that I would not be purchasing from them. I start putting all of my stuff away and am ready to leave. Then Rich says "well what were you expecting? This is below invoice price." I just wish you all could hear the attitude and snark he said this with! At this point, I am just beyond upset and irritated with the attitude they have been giving me from the moment we walked in the door. I don't know if it's because I'm a woman, because we're latino, or what the problem was. After that I just lost it and told them exactly how I felt about the treatment we received. And they had the nerve to act shocked. I walked out of there more upset than I have ever been when shopping for anything. I went to a dealer down the street, bought an SUV, and received AMAZING customer service and a great price. I'm so mad I even wasted my time with Wilkins Mazda. Seriously, do yourself a favor and avoid them. Even their bathrooms are disgusting, outdated, and dirty.

I was surprised by the excellent services Wilkins Mazda provided. I was driving my Mazda 6 on the highway and it was Chicago winter so very desperate. So suddenly my car car start to behave wrong and I know the tire pressure is low but the car is shaking like it was not supposed to. When I arrived I saw a very good looking store and I think it will cost me a fortune to fix the problem, but eventually they fixed everything for free! Because it was the tire pressure and the snow inside the wheels.

The kind of customer service Jonathan provided me definitely pushed me to go and get my service done at a different dealership. Called and spoke to **** in service, mentioned I have 2 vehicles and am new to the area. I asked about making an appointment for an oil change/tire rotation and mentioned an issue with my AC. Wanted to charge $130 just to look at it. I asked if the 'Complementary AC Inspection' coupon from the website applied, he mentioned it did not cover electrical issues and did not seem eager to offer me service. I decided against an appointment and will take my business elsewhere.

He did his best to locate some information on what I wanted, since they didn't have it in stock as well as informing me that they could get what I wanted from somewhere else if they needed to. My salesman Jeff Matzkin was a pleasure to do Buisness with. I came from McGrath Hyundai with a very bad experience from their sales staff. Jeff was the complete opposite of what a stereotypical "car salesman" is portrayed as. I wish all my sales experiences where as straightforward, honest, genuine and sincere as my experience was at Wilkins. I say all of this with the experience I have of working in sales in the the past, because of this I feel that I generally have much higher expectations than your average joe. During the past I felt like just another sale but with Jeff I feel like he genuinely cares. I apologize for ranting but this experience really left a good impression on me.

I did research beyond belief for at least two months before making a decision on a car to buy. I went back and forth from SUVs to cars, and this is definitely the best of both worlds! I just bought a 2014 Mazda 3 for a very good price. I have always enjoyed driving a car like this that has met my needs. I love how comfortable this car is. The fuel efficiency is also a huge plus with today’s gas prices. The car is also very quiet and has minimal road noise. The Engine and Transmission feel very solid. Overall if you want a car that is affordable and mechanically reliable I would definitely recommend this car to anyone! Also I had an outstanding experience at Wilkins Mazda. Everyone was very nice and professional. My sales person Mr. Angelo Liumis was very kind, helpful and efficient and he met all my expectations.

HALF A STAR.. BUYERS BEWARE! I just brought a 2013 dodge dart. The very next day my brakes weren't working properly..while driving in traffic no less. I was horrified.. I was so scared and was able to pull over to the side. I immediately called them to report it. They treated me as if it was no big deal! He said..just bring it in.. Well this lead to me having (4) loaner cars because every time I got the car back..there was another problem. Now they have the gall...to be sick and tired of my bringing the car back; so they tell me from now on we are out of the picture! Well now it's too late for me to just leave the car at their doorstep (because when I was supposed to leave the car within the first 7 days).. They had the car! Which went on for the first 4 months. Basically.. They sold me a lemon... And I'm stuck with it. I never had a working radio. They said we will fix that in the beginning when I brought the car..they never did. So when I questioned them about it, I was told to bring it in..we will take another look at it. Next I'm told.. OH WE'RE NOT GONNA FIX THAT... IT'S YOUR PROBLEM NOW. BUT WE WILL FIX IT FOR $500.. Their whole attitude has changed since I gave them all I had down on this car. And on top of it all...they refused to give me me paperwork on the multiple visits within the first 3months (even when I had been given 4 loaner cars) to prove my case to a lawyer. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVVVVV...ER!

Brought my car in for repairs because my exhaust was hanging under the car. I warned the porter who took my car about the exhaust pipe situation. He then drove right over a grate in the floor, it caught on the exhaust and ripped the rear bumper cover off off my car! They then told me they weren't responsible for the damage and the owner himself told me they would not pay a dime for the damage (that they caused!!!) He also told me if I wanted to get it fixed I should take it somewhere else. I told Tom, the owner, that I was now considering getting a lawyer, to which he replied "go ahead" This place should be avoided at all costs. No ethics, no morals and certainly lacking in customer service.

It was a very Bad experience for me. the sales guy was very good and took the time to go through the car i was looking at, it was when we started talking money that the finance Manager was not a good person to deal with. We made them an offer on the car we wanted and he sent the sales guy to get a different car that we could afford at that price. so we continued to pick up our stuff to leave. he didn't even make an offer back to us or explain why they couldn't do the price we wanted. While leaving the sales guy asked if we would wait so he could talk to a Manager and try to salvage any deal we might be able to make. The finance Manager comes out and asks me why i was offering such a low price on the car i wanted, did i see it online or another dealership. i told him yes i did and proceeded to show him the exact same car at a lower price and he told me good luck on buying the car and let me leave. i was contacted by them Several time's from them to try and make a deal but i told them i was never going back there for the way they treat people. i did buy a car at St. Charles Nissan, and they are people that treat you with respect and also look for your best interest at heart. Go buy a car anywhere but here. This place is Garbage The Finance Manager That acted like an A*****E was Ken.

Last Saturday I went to meet with Ed Chwal regarding the end of my 3-year lease in April on my Mazda CX-5. Ed had contacted me early in 2019 and I was initially slow to respond then I made a couple of appointments to meet with him but due to other obligations I had to cancel. He stayed in touch but never pushed me to come in. When I got in last week, I told him that I probably wanted to lease again, but a CX-3 instead of the 5. He immediately found me the perfect car - package and color I wanted and we took a test drive. The test drive was very pleasant. As with another review I just read, Ed was personable, funny and relaxed. He answered questions about the car but there was never a tense moment of him pressuring me to go with the bigger model or even to buy the one we were in. When we got back I was certain it was the car for me. He quickly got the numbers together and we agreed on a lease price. I am not an impatient person but because I am a quick decision maker I was eager to get on with my day. Ed made the process go as quickly as he could. He checked in with me to tell me where I was in the financing process/line, but he never hovered over me. He was efficient, helpful and friendly. This is my 5th Mazda. I have purchased two and leased three over the last 30 years. This was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had in a car dealership. Easy and as enjoyable as purchasing or leasing a car can be. I will recommend Ed to anyone needing a car. And as I have for the last 30 years I will be telling people how much I love my Mazda! Zoom-zoom!!

Service: The service guys are doing a phenomenaly amazing job. They explain every part of service in detail, and the timing is pretty good too. Don't forget to go to their site to check for service specials/coupons. New building is pretty awesome too, with modern design and wide open, spacious showroom. Take Erika's detailed and positive review, don't change a word except to substitute Maria Vesey, my sales rep, for the ones Erika dealt with. Maria was a real pleasure to work with. She was confidently nonchalant, meaning she displayed none of the characteristics of a "hard sell" salesperson. At the appropriate time in the process I disclosed to her that I had a BK and an active foreclosure and tax liens in my credit history, but I needed to replace a 14 year old car with 200,000 miles that would not survive the this coming winter. I wasn't sure I could even qualify for a car lease at a decent money rate. But Maria quoted me a deal for a three year lease on a 2016 CX-3 with a money rate that was very, very good in comparison to what I had been quoted by other dealerships (more than 2% less in one case) and a money rate that, based on my research, was given people with better credit than mine. So when she left her desk to have my credit run and get a lease finance company to approve the deal, I was expecting her to come back and say I had been rejected at the quoted rate and that I would only qualify if I paid a higher money rate. But true to her word she came back a few minutes later with approval for the money rate and deal she had offered. I should also mention that my original contact with Wilkins was through its website to ask for an internet quote. Kelly [can't remember her last name] responded within a couple of hours with exactly the information I asked for. I had contacted other dealerships' internet sales departments and had been disappointed with their nebulous responses. One dealership did not reply at all, even though I was very specific about the features on a CX-3 that I wanted. So on all counts, I'm very happy with the deal and my experience at Wilkins. As for the CX-3, it's a really great car and fun to drive and very agile.

I thought that the service I received from Kristin & Manny was extremely hospitable. I really loved the service I received from Kristin because she never seemed annoyed with all of the questions that I was asking and she was always quick to respond. I was also in contact with two other Mazda Dealers from which I received the worst service from and was considering not getting a Mazda all together. I was happy after I started communicating with Kristin and my first thought was that I finally found a person that really cares about my needs. After talking to Kristin I then met Manny when I went to the store to purchase the car. I had a fabulous time with Manny. I felt like I was talking to one of my friends and not a sales person. He was so courteous and friendly that I actually forgot that I just met him. while we were waiting to contact my insurance company he was even telling me about a great cafe to go to. All in all this was a fab experience and I will recommend this location to anyone in the market. Kristin and Manny showed me that they really understand how to take care of their customers. They both truly went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy. Oh! I do love my car as well.

A story coming to a sad end. I have owned my 14 Mazda 3 for some years now. I have been having it regularly serviced at Wilkins Mazda. I come from the auto industry so yes I pay someone to work on my car. Also I k ow when someone is trying to bust my chops, and let me tell you this is the first dealer I have felt comfortable at. I feel trusted and relaxed. I know when I come here I don't have to worry about my car or the quality of work. They always have loans and a nice waiting area. Sadly I'm selling my Mazda and purchased a Sonata. I will still have it serviced here and forward looking to the seeing them. Strongly suggest this place for service.

Long story short it was a pain in the ass to contact anyone and to get anyone to contact us. They didn't lower the price of the car even with the dents and messed up tire. Completely blew us off about getting a car until my mom had came in for final deal. Worst dealership I ever dealt with. Sent in an email about a car and never got an email back. Had to call in to get an answer about the car and spoke with Kelly, the only one worth dealing with, and informed me the car was there so I have no idea why it was such a hassle to send me an email or call. After that I had called one more time before we took an hour and a half drive up there to confirm it was there and I talked to someone who was rude, got there and no one had taken us seriously as far as trading in for the car we were looking at went. Got down to the end and it was roughly 8 pm so banks were closed and had to wait for a response the next day. We were told we were going to get a call. Not to my surprise I had to call them again because I got no call. We were not taken seriously until my mom was at the place ready to sign for the car than everyone turned into knowledgable sales people. If anywere else in the U.S. has the car you are looking for go there and not here unless you're dealing with Kelly

If I could give them 0 stars I would, my friend had to take her car there after there was a recall on a car part and they broke another part of her car and charged her for it, they said that it didn't matter because it was gonna break eventually. WHO THE HELL GAVE THEM PERMISSION TO BREAK AND FIX SOMETHING BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BREAK EVENTUALLY??? IT DOES NOT MATTER. They went ahead without permission, fixed the part THEY broke and then tried to charge her $200 for it for LABOR, the AUDACITY?!!!! They then lowered the price and talked down to her as if they were doing her a favor. STAY AWAY!! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PLACE! THEY ARE VERY VERY DISHONEST! Also if you read through the other comments this seems to be a reoccurring problem and many others have had similar experiences.

A salesmen telling me to go to another dealership? Yep well I guess I will take his advise and not go to that dealership. Very disappointing.

It is very dishonest dealer. Especially beware of their website. Of course, if you do not want to waste your time. If you find a car at a good price on their website, you should ALWAYS ask what discounts are included. I assure you that not all the discounts you qualify and the final price will be higher. On each side of their cars is a calculator, which suggests that you can get shown price AND the estimated interest rate is 1.99%. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have a credit score of nearly 800 and they wanted to give me 3.9%. For whom is the 1.99% shown at this attractive price? Watch out for these tricks ... The most unfair was that they promised to send only one credit inquiry (to Mazda only). Of course, they lied. They sent two and of course doubly hurt my credit score. Congratulations on your honesty crew Mr. Wilkins

Upon my arrival, Mike greeted me promptly. I had a specific car in mind and he immediately got to work readying the car for a test drive. I was able to take the car on a drive with just my wife. Mike was helpful, but he did not hover over us nor did he try to do a hard sell. He was professional and accommodating. He also arranged to have the car put on a rack so I could inspect the underside of the car. The price negotiation was reasonably transparent and we settled on a very fair price quickly. Overall, an excellent experience. I despise high pressure car sales, so Mike was perfect for me.

Our first car! I must admit this was a first for my wife and I. We had always bought used cars but never from a dealership. We decided to upgrade from our current ride to something newer. Jeff took the time to walk us through the dealership system and was not "pushy" at all with his salesmanship. We have waited nearly two months to write this review only cause we wanted to make sure that we didn't end up with a car that needed work or felt screwed. But the car is great, runs like a dream, good mileage. No issues and still has a warranty! Drove an hour and a half to look at a car. That they said they still had. Talked to them the day that I was going to be there. Car was sold the day before. Vito was the guys name that helped us. I just bought a brand new 2016 Mazda CX-5 for a great price from this dealership. Here's some of the simple but important things that Wilkins did to earn my business: 1.) They had all of the major models and trim packages in stock so i could test\try first. 2.) There were parking spots available for customers to use 3.) They gave me their best price right off the bat (the typical back & forth negotiation tactic was not required) 4.) If the sales person (Vito) didn't know the answer to my question they told me (this is unlike other dealerships where sales people would give me incorrect information rather than admitting they didn't know the answer). Point 4 is a very important thing for me as it shows the sales person\dealership is honest and has integrity. I would reccomend buying a car from this dealership to any of my family and friends.

Mike Obal was a pleasure to work with from day one. I spent a few days going back on forth on a few cars from Wilkins and Mike was super patient and willing to help in all aspects. He was great with communicating over the phone and in person, and took the initiative to call us back with every detail possible over the course of days. If he said he would call at a certain time, he always made sure to. He came in on his day off on the day I decided to make the purchase, which was so kind. Ignored my request to fix a noise under my bumper to bumper full warranty. There is a service bulliten posted by Mazda about how to fix the issue. But they claim that if they don't hear any noise within their 30 second test drive that they will not fix it. Poor policy. They do decent work otherwise.

I found a certified 2015 Mazda cx 9 online at their location and I live in Wisconsin. Called on Thursday to set up a time to look at the car on Friday, and get a pre-purchase inspection. Taylor and Glenn were very helpful in explaining everything. Financing was a breeze (they found a great rate.) They detailed the car and showed me features before leaving. Taylor Crawford is someone to see if you are in the market for a Mazda. In my extensive car hunt, I had many test drives, but Taylor's knowledge stood out as exceptional. He patiently showed me all of the options on the CX-5 I drove, including the heads up display, which I thought I didn't want, until I saw it in action with Taylor helping adjust it to the right level for me. In phone follow-up, Taylor was persistent, but not pesky. I never felt I was being bothered. After working with Taylor, the competitor's test drives were a disappointment. I thought I wanted to buy a car on the internet and avoid salesmen altogether., but Taylor added value to the experience and I would highly recommend working with him on your new car purchase. Taylor is a real asset to Wilkins.

Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. I contacted this dealership for a quote. Received an email back from angel gomez right away with a quote that was lower then anywhere else for a new 2017 CX-5. I went to Schaumburg Mazda before this and had a terrible experience. Wilkins listed there car as new AND IT ACTUALLY WAS NEW, not a loaner with 2200 miles on it or a car that employees have been driving with 6k miles on it. I worked with Ed Chwal who was incredibly easy to work with, very knowledgeable and most importantly did not bs around. Save yourself the headache and just go see Ed. Call angel before going too. These guys made the car buying experience actually enjoyable which is rare.

Worst car buying experience. Would not recommend to anyone. Find a vehicle somewhere else. Stereotypical sales people that will tell you anything to make a sale. No communication between managers or salesman. I made an appointment two weeks in advance for my car paint protection which was supposed to take about a day. It ended up taking 2 days so i had to make multiple trips back and forth. I live an hour an a half away which adds up to 3 hours of waisted driving time, roundtrip plus tolls. Go somewhere else!

This is a very dishonest dealer. Especially beware of their website and pay attention to what they advertise with different options that come with the car. I was initially lured into the dealership while looking at a car that they told me they had, until I came to find out that the particular car was in the shop; with no timeframe of when the car would be out due to the ongoing mechanics' strike. Later, when I selected another car, they gave me a run-around on the options that the advertised car had on it saying it is a typo by the sales department. Please think twice before getting into a relationship with them.

I leased a 2016 Mazda6 Touring (absolutely love the car!). This is my third Mazda6, but first experience with leasing a vehicle. I did a good deal of research on the leasing process beforehand, and I can confidently say that Wilkins Mazda was more than fair--just the opposite of the stereotypical view of car salesmen. I walked in anticipating the need to defend myself from being taken advantage of, but I am happy to say I left feeling like everyone I dealt with was looking out for my best interests. The entire experience was pleasant from beginning to end. They were polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. I felt I received a fairly generous offer on my trade-in vehicle, and that I got a great deal on my new one. They only charged $250 over dealer invoice price. I have a 725 credit score and got tricked into a 8 percent interest loan my first time financeing a vehicle and I definitely got screwed from the price 19 grand for a 2015 mazda 3 that wasnt even fully loaded but was lied to I am glad I'm able to refinance through the lender who even told me they screwed me over they were very nice until I left the lot I came in for maintenance and there crew acted as if I was a bother to them this is not how buisness is done
