Update I just bought my 2nd car from David Kaminski at land rover in schaumburg. He is the best EVER!!! He is so knowledgeable at what he does and doesn't make you feel pressured AT ALL...He always returns your calls and your texts and cares more about the customer than he does anything else!!!! I will never buy another car from any other dealership or sales person!!!! He should be GM!!!!!! He is truly great and has the best customer service around. Older..READ THIS if you are thinking of buying a car!! I went to over 15 dealers in a period of 3 months and this one by far (well at least David Kaminski) was the best experience I had compared to all other dealers in the area!! He actually listens to you and NOT focused on the sale. He never bugged me like all the other sales people and worked over 3 weeks to find ME the perfect car. He gave me his phone # and told me to reach out to him personally each and every time I should need the service department in the future so he can make SURE I get the help I need (who does that?)….His boss (I think) David Lecinski was also wonderful to deal with!! This is such a stressful experience and they made it so much easier! BEST dealership I've ever been to and I highly recommend!!!!

Worst Land rover dealership! Worst customer service. The manager is a joke doesn't know how to treat customers at all. They tried to scam me saying i needed new rotors and brake pads! When i just got my rotors replaced 5 months ago. My rangerover only needed brake pads. They tried to bill be $800.00 for troubleshooting when i didn't ask them to. I am reporting them to BBB.

To our pleasure, we sought out our soon to be 16 yr old son's first used vehicle from Land Rover H.E.! Based on advertising, we were drawn in, having already perused the dealership on a past occasion! We were greeted, immediately, with a no-pressure, informative Sales professional (Nick). We were taken through the process, from inquiry to purchase, entirely with respect, elegance, autonomy, laughter, hospitality and fairness! Those traits are RARE in the industry commonly (and sometimes, unfairly) labeled as "sleazy" or with vulture-like behaviors. This particular dealership put all those stereotypes to rest! We felt the elegance and integrity that is visibly company protocol! The grounds were magnificently manicured and it felt as if we were in a large banquet facility with beautiful vehicles on display! We were offered refreshments and comfortable seating! The vehicle was ready to go for a test-drive and we were escorted with grace! When the rain broke out, the wonderful Nick actually ran to get an umbrella to escort me to dry land! Isn't that just unheard of? You see, those are defining signs with which we should tell that the CHARACTER with which we're working with is solid and kind! Once again, in an industry that is assuredly affected by the downturned economy, these professionals could have put on the "hard sell" to extract a purchase from us and potentially risk our leaving prematurely, but...they did not! They chose professionalism and discretion, while maintaining a "connected eye" to our needs! We did, inevitably, purchase this vehicle, which was absolutely maintained and supported to the fullest extent. Our purchase was based on an agreement between us and the dealership. It turns out that there IS a business, in 2013 that actually keeps their promises, makes the customer know that they are valued and revered as well as maintaining a well mannered, groomed demeanor! Wow! What snobs!!! Went in to look at a Certified Pre Owned RR looking to spend around $75,000 - $90,000. They had 2 on the lot but tried to sell me a new one for over $125,000 - I kept trying to steer them to my origionail price but he would just not listen! This went on for apx 1 hour! I asked to test drive the one I was more interested in, but a sales person had taken it out for his lunch>>>>>> Wow! I drove to Madison Wi! No problem within 2 hours of my arivail I had test drove a RR and made the purchase! If the sales person would of asked I had Saved $90,000 and wanted to pay in cash! Not looking to purchase new! Also Your reviews are horrible for after the sale service!! I guess you only want the customers money! ((( Qualify your customer )))

The overall atmosphere of the dealership was great, but avoid working with Steve Grady. My experience with him was not pleasant and I do not recommend making a purchase with him. Expect to be at the dealership for at least an hour and a half with him, even if you scheduled a test drive a day ahead. I recommend Sean Hegarty to assist you in the buying process.

My experience here was everything of a fast, easy, superb, patient & spectacular array of events. I had doubts about filling out the application because I tried to get approved from two other car dealership & I was denied. I had recently taken out a car loan in January & I knew it would be tough getting another one with the way my credit looks. Darren, the sales rep, encouraged me to fill out the application & give it a try. He said, "Let's see what happens." Wow...surprisingly....I WAS APPROVED!!! We talked numbers on the phone before I took the hour & 15 minute drive to make sure it wasn't a waste of a trip. When I arrived, the staff gave me a warm welcome & Darren & I got right to the paperwork. He walked me through all the paperwork page by page & thoroughly explained the totals. During the test drive, he showed me all the key components to the car that made me even more excited about the financing the vehicle. Darren said I had nothing to worry about & his word was bond. The finance manager, I can't remember his name but I think it was Joe, was also very thorough when it came to finalizing everything. He gave me additional offers to make sure the vehicle will have future care, from warranties, insurance & tire/rim protection. I would highly recommend the Land Rover Hoffman Estates to everyone for purchasing or financing new & used vehicles. Don't let the company's name steer you away, like I almost did.

Stay as far as possible from this dealership. Was shopping around for a new vehicle in their dealership , they are total scam artists.. I mean who aren't ? They mark up the finance or lease values by 30-40% and rip off customers . Thank god i dint buy anything here. I took the pricesheet to a buddy and an online portal, everybody laughed their ass off since this is a ridiculous discount and worst ever. Half of the salesmen dont know their cars ,finance is even worse.. total scam !!!!

He was very direct on the process especially if you dont have the best credit to finance he tries to work with what ever numbers you throw at him, no pressure and no sleazy salesman talk. I had been looking at a full size Range Rover for past 2-3 months, had a trade that was a little upside down in equity, the entire staff from the sales person Adam to the Manager John went above and beyond to ensure that they would get this deal done. I contacted Range Rover of Hinsdale and their attitude and non willing to negotiate turned me away. I buy a new car every year and they treated me better than any other dealer and their willingness to negotiate and see that I was happy seeemed to override their care for making a profit. Came in to buy a landrover discovery sport; Adam and his manager were great to begin with. My wife and I found a car that we liked and we started negotiating with Adam and his team. My wife and I left because the car we wanted to see wasn't onsite. Adam was able to send me video of the vehicle and we continued to negotiate from there. Long story short, we settled on a final sales price on Tuesday and we had an agreement that we would buy the car. I wanted to secure the vehicle with a deposit but, Motor Werks policy doesn't allow deposits on vehicles from local/in state customers.... He had assured us that we could come in on Friday and get the car. On Thursday he called and said the car was sold.... Thanks Adam. My wife is graduating from Northwestern on Friday; my gift to her was ruined because you sold the car that I wanted to someone else. Way to break your word and waste my time!

My husband and I went into Motor Werks yesterday to purchase an Infiniti QX60. It was a 2015, white, had all the bells and whistles. Prior to making the trip to Hoffman Estates all the way from Lansing, IL my husband spoke with Bern (nice guy by the way) and told him we were on our way. Due to distance and traffic, it took us about an hour and twenty minutes to get there. Once we arrived, the truck was already parked out front. Bern greeted us, took us on a test drive and started the paper work. From the very beginning, we informed them that we had our own financing through my husband's credit union from work. Bern showed us papers with their financing rate anyway. One of their best rates were a little over 5%, my husband's credit union beat that with 3.99%. We declined their offer. We were offered their financing at least six more times.The finance manger, James Russo, was even brought over to try and sway us into at least "trying" to see if they could beat the 3.99% rate, we still declined. It almost felt desperate. He accepted, shook both our hands and congratulated us on our new purchase. He then told us we could take the truck home today, but he would have to run our credit( this is literally like their 100th attempt!) We declined AGAIN. Besides, the truck hadn't even been through the final vehicle inspection per Bern, so we wouldn't have been able to take it home anyway. We got our credit union on the phone, they told us that they would cut us the check for the amount that was on the Bill of Sale that we sent over. We would pick up the check Monday morning from dt Chicago and have it to them no later than 11:30 Monday morning.(My husband had to be at work at 3:30 yesterday, so he didn't have time to pick up the check Friday) That wasn't good enough, they asked us to have them wire it. Wiring it wouldn't have gotten them the money until Monday either. Our credit union spoke to Bern twice via my husband's cell phone. After getting back on the phone with my husband, she informed him to consider walking away, she felt that they were too gunho to get the check. She couldn't understand why they couldn't just wait for the check to be delivered to them on Monday via FedEx or wiring, instead of making us come all the way downtown and then back to Hoffman Estates. We got everything squared away, payment agreement, (some) paperwork signed, we felt great. Fast forward to Saturday morning and received a phone call stating that the truck had already been sold to someone who took their financing! "Supposedly" there was another salesman that didn't know about our so called deal and accidentally sold it. We've wasted time, energy, and gas messing around with them! My husband was even late for work. Bern told us he would continue to work on the paperwork while we were gone so that he could mark the car as listed. Long story short... if you have your own financing, don't even bother with them! They're impatient, dishonest, and obviously money hungry.

If i can give this dealership negative stars i would. I would advise everyone please go to a different dealership. I have bought 2 range rovers sport from them. The previous management was very professional. This time dealing with new manager was such a big headache and i truly regret giving them my business. Apparently this specific dealership is under pressure from the corporate office due to high claims of complaints and getting sued by many. I found out they deliberately ruined my cpu in my rover while it was under warrenty on purpose so they can get land rover of North America to pay them basically scaming them! Not wasting my money but my time. Also not to mention that basically they messed with my car. I called the police on the spot and i wrote a police report also corporate office is on them. I WILL MAKE SURE THEY DONT EVER DO THAT TO ANYONE. There sales have gone down significantly due to this. Please don't SUPPORT THEM! Zack the service manager is scam artist

i have been going there for service for 9 years with new car purchase from there every 3 year but the this time the service person Brandon is some one i will never go to because for him to make few extra money he stick me with a 1K invoice for the first service which i have been doing it for @$150 so if i were you do not go to Brandon he will cheat you and you will have a bad test in your mouth. i love the dealership and i have been doing business with them for 9 year this is the first time some one who is trying to cheat the customer. i will give them another try but not with Brandon

From the second I walked in, Patrick Lecinski (sales guide) listened to exactly what I was looking for in a car. Knowing I had a strict budget, I didn’t think I was going to get what I needed/wanted, but with David Lecinski’s help (new car sales manager), both him and Patrick were able to find exactly what I was looking for within my budget! I have been going to this dealership for several years now for service on my LR2, and my Discovery 2. The LR2 was purchased through them, and the Disco elsewhere. The level of quality that is received here is beyond that which you would get at many of the other dealerships I have been to. Let's not forget that they put on an off road event twice a year for free. I would definitely shop there again, and will continue to go there for service.

I'm writing this review in complete disgust with the service I am receiving from the service department on my Evoque. If I could give negative stars, I would. Range Rover of Hoffman Estates has had my vehicle in their service department for over 8 weeks with no resolution as to what is causing the vehicle to fault. They have failed to provide updates on the status of the lack of repair and I get the same update that "there are no updates". While I did not purchase my car from THIS dealer, I do expect that as a Range Rover owner that I get the same superior service that any customer would expect regardless of where the car was bought. It is completely unacceptable to me, and I would say for any customer to be treated in this manner. I expect that my vehicle is being looked at and worked on WHILE sitting in the service department, but rather, my vehicle sits for days if not a week on end only to be told, "it's not returning codes". I am beyond disappointed with this dealer and their lack of communication, service and accountability, I will never recommend this dealer or brand of vehicle to anyone.

I had been looking for a 9th Gen Civic Si for about a year and a half. I ended up buying a 2013 Civic EX. It runs and drives so well, I love it. I know its not an Si but the mileage was very low and the price was outstanding. I did the deal with Jon Hert, the used car manager and Mr. Nelson the GM. Bought a 2013 Range Rover from them, recently had to get all my tires replaced and the service provided by Meghan and Mr. Nelson was outstanding! I called in advance to schedule the service and Meghan greeted me at the door as I arrived, had my loaner waiting for me and I was ready to go in 5 minutes. When I came to pick up my car, not only was it done quickly, but the dealer had my car detailed inside and out, filled it up with gas, and just provided such an outstanding experience!!! I will never purchase another vehicle from Hoffman Estates Ranger Rover again. I purchased my vehicle on Black Friday 2015 and I was not given the manual to my vehicle. I drove over 300 miles because I thought this dealership had the best price on my vehicle of choice. Since November 2015, I've been trying to get my manual but since the manual is over $200 their #1 so called salesperson Sean told me to just go online to learn about my vehicle having spent this type of money I'm entitled to the manual that came with my vehicle. Sean told me he took it into service during the Christmas holidays to have it shipped but I never received it so I'm screwed because it just disappeared. I've left several messagese from the general manager John and to this day I have not received one phone call. All I want is what belongs to me My Manual.

Great Overall Experience at JLR!!! Hello everyone! I took a beautiful Saturday afternoon ride to look at a pre-owned Range Rover Sport. I cannot say enough great things about this beautiful new Jaguar Land Rover Dealership in Hoffman Estates; from my sales guy David Kaminski to James Russo Finance Manager and last but not least, to the General Manager John Nelson. I think I found my new favorite land rover dealer. My older range rover had a check engine light and rattling and thought it would cost an arm and a leg replacing the cats but luckily was something small and service fixed it while I waited and it’s like new again. I also like to do my own oil change and air filter change. Suprisingly while I was waiting for my car, I asked how much for oil and air filter and comparing to the other dealers I called, hoffman’s parts department was less expensive and so I purchased the filters there.

This place has the worst customer service ever the loaner program is a joke had a nail in the tire was told we couldn't get a loaner to have the tire replaced for 6-8 weeks when you spend 120k on a rover that is unacceptable and that is we will be trading in to St. Charles Mercedes (who by the way has exemplary service and loaners for their customers within a week of scheduling) I am very disappointed as the vehicle itself is amazing however when you cannot have service done in a timely manner and the customer service sucks it just not worth it STAY AWAY!!

BEWARE! This dealership is full of crooks. They only want your money. So apparently before going to them i checked with another professional mechcanic on a coolant leak issue on my range rover. Apparently the hose was only bad and needed to be replaced. I took it in without telling them they were like your radiator along with your hoses are bad and needs to be replaced. I was surprised in just 5 minutes apparently without checking even they said that. ALSO enterprise stop working with them because they wouldnt pay enterprise for courtsey vehicles. They dont care about there customers! I will be calling land rover of North America and filling a complaint against them!

I recently purchased a 2018 Range Rover Sport Dynamic from Land Rover Hoffman Estates. My original intent was to return to the same dealership that I purchased my trade in vehicle from. However, after searching the internet for inventory of Range Rover Sports, I stumbled across one very specific and unique vehicle that was in stock at Hoffman Estates. After corresponding with the Sales Manager, David, I decided to see this vehicle in person before proceeding to my original destination. Well, from the minute I arrived at Land Rover Hoffman Estates, I was greeted by Patrick and David and I was instantly awestruck with their presentation of the vehicle. This vehicle was not pre ordered and was designed by the dealership, specifically by the Sales Manager David. This vehicle was a credit to their toughtfulness and creativity. They are relaying on people's trust and lack of knowledge and they take advantage of this! Just had my LR4 serviced here and I'm very disappointed. They should be "top hat" customer service but no, they aren't. They are a shame for the brand. They haven't done the basic in a scheduled maintenance and it's hard to believe they've done whatever is needed for a 2 year service. Do we have to check all the things they are supposed to do in a scheduled service? I don't think so. Apparently, yes! You have to check whatever they are saying it has been done to your vehicle and you will be surprised. This dealership is the one that gets the name of Land Rover under water, by the way they treats the customers and their vehicles. Please, people check your vehicles, from tire pressure to filter elements and if you can't or don't know how, then you should avoid this dealership, seriously! You're wasting your time and money.

We traveled from Lafayette to this dealership due to this dealership providing one of the most reasonable rates for the pre-owned vehicle we were looking for. One of the most motivating factors was before we even looked at the car, I had several questions and was even given differences in comparable vehicles I was looking at (that favored another one in price and options). Our sales guy, Bern, was fantastic! He was never pushy in the emails or in person, which made us compelled to make the trip. The overall experience at the dealership was great. We needed time to think it over so went out for dinner which was so gratefully reimbursed by the manager. We were shown how to use everything on the car before we left. Afterwards, there was an issue with the tires that no one had known about. The dealership paid for this expense as well. I love my new car and the experience I had at this dealership! You will definitely feel welcomed, have your questions asked and feel at home while you are there in the brand-new dealership. I call this dealership on April 20, 2019 spoke with Sean about 2015 Evoque. He stated the vehicle was still available and it was an approved certified car. I arrived to the dealership about an hour later test drove and decide to purchase this vehicle. While doing the paper work I was inform that I would have to pay an additional $1,500 to get the car certified. Wow, what do you guy do to certified a car? I was told basically we do a comprehensive check of the vehicle. I thought I was at a dealership that did a comprehensive check on all their vehicles before putting them on their lot. Later the finances manager came out and suggested that I go with the extended warranty instead of the certification. He explain if I was going to keep the vehicle the extended warranty is the better buy. Ok, no problem while signing the paper I noticed this warranty was about 5k almost a fourth of what the car cost. Well, thank God I purchase the extended warranty two week later I discover my horn did not work and driver side back door did not open all which are safety issues. Call the service department could not get the car in for two weeks......wow! However, must say my service advisor was great (Stephen) very apologetic and accommodating to the best of his ability. Finally service got the vehicle in and take care of the horn and door. Came and pick the vehicle up while driving home it began to rain...guess what...UNBELIVEVABLE.... the windshield wiper do not work! Called Stephen back he got the vehicle back in the next business day. Fast forward 45 days later was pull over by police stating my plates and registration was not complete. Told officer I just purchase the vehicle and had my plates transferred at the dealership. Officer stated ok and suggested I follow up with dealership and/or Illinois Secretary of State. Call the dealership spoke with a gentleman name James. He state some paper work with the title was done incorrectly and he would look into and get back with me. Well it's July 17 and according to Illinois Secretary of state they still do not have the paper work or money for the for plate/registration transfer. VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!

What a wonderful dealership in Schaumburg. All sales reps and management at this facility are very professional and you will not see any pressure sales here…you know how car sales people are…LOL. I custom ordered my Land Rover Velar and they did a fantastic job on order taking to delivering it. My sales rep informed me the status of vehicle every week. We found a vehicle at this dealership online. It had just been listed. I called and talked to a salesman named Lev. After two days of negotiating, we settled on a deal. Financing was done in advance so everything was set. My credit card was taken for a security deposit. It was a 6 hour drive for me. I got about 15 minutes into the drive when Lev called and stated there was a problem. He stated that the vehicle had been sold prior and a deposit was put on the vehicle bye someone else and that he just found out. Very suspicious since he had stated previously it was sitting out on the lot, and we had been negotiating on it for two days. We negotiated the first day past closing, and then the next morning at opening. So mysteriously it got a deposit on it while the dealership was closed. So two days of negotiating, faxing in documents, and then finally settling on the deal, and all for nothing. A complete waste of time. I have a sneaking suspicion that the deal didn't make the dealership enough money, so they decided to cancel it and hope for a sucker who would pay more. Good for them, horrible for the consumer. I highly recommend looking somewhere else and avoiding Lev and this dealership.

Took my car to get serviced for ONE thing only. Turns out, they decided to open everything under my hood.. my car now has the “check engine” light on and they rotated my tires, my car now doesn’t drive smoothly. Since I took it here, it’s been having more issues. It’s not the same car it was after I got it back! Also I had to have a friend come get me because Range Rover didn’t want to provide me a vehicle to get back home with after they kept me there all day! I will be speaking to my lawyer about this! A lawsuit will be happening! I am outraged and will never be coming back here. NEVER.

Family Frienfly, Above and Beyond--Why...Came from St Louis, Missouri and yes we have a LR Dealership that is less than 20 mikes from my home and 2 mikes from my job. They couldn't compare to the service I was given. DARREN LITTLE worked with me for approximately 3 months. Undecided on the model, color ext/int color and of course, the PRICE! He patiently checked in without any pressure. I finally settled on the car of my dreams (the night before) I purchased a plane ticket and drove home sometimes with tears in my eyes because that young man treated like a person, listeyto my needs and respecting my hesitations. I've never owed a LAND ROVER and didn't think it was in my wheel house but it was! I got more than I dreamed!!! Sales Person (Steven Grady) deserves 5 Stars. Company and Manager deserve 1 Star 1) I bought a used car of my choice from this dealership. At the time of purchase they showed me an inspection report and mentioned brakes/rotors and tires are fine. Brakes had 5 threads left. Less then two months down today, I took my car for Oil Change to Lincoln dealer, they are saying the rotors need replacement and that two of the tires need replacement, because they are down to nothing. Since its AWD essentially all tires need to be replaced. I had this specific discussion with the manager, and he promised me that the tires don't need replacement and brake/rotors are absolutely fine. 2) The wheel balance was not done correctly, if at all they did one. 3) This is very annoying, they took my social at the time of buying the car. Since I was not financing from them, they clearly mentioned that they will not pull the credit report, its just for security. Yet they pull my credit, I don't understand why. I had my finance done from my bank.

I was assigned Mr Adam Reed as the sales person. As soon as i met Adam, he directly asked me, how can he help answer any questions with a pretty straight face (no smile at all), i was like its ok and ignored and stated that i wanted to test drive the RR Velar. first question which he asks is what are you looking to replace it with, i stated i drive an Audi Q5 (wish i had stated Toyota Camry as i have that as a 2nd car). He is like did you have your car with you? i was thinking why does that even matter but i stated yes, maybe he didnt believe me and wanted to look at what i drive. He pulled the car in, we went for the test drive, all through the drive, i got a very cold response from him. We got in, i told him i need the lease numbers, he started asking how much was i currently paying, etc.... i gave him my details that i am paying close to $600 per month with a 3k down on my Q5. He stated i just want to be upfront that the Velar will be close to $1k, i was like its Ok, just email me the numbers and we will take it from there. In my entire interaction with him, i always got a sense that he had assumed that I will NOT be able to afford to get the Velar or he had just judged the book with its cover i guess. Its been more than 2+ weeks and i have seen zero communication so far. I am not a person who would go online and bash up someone in online reviews. I also do understand that there are some basic questions which needs to be asked but there is a certain way to tackle those questions. I felt very Insulted in those 30 mins which i have spend in the showroom. I wouldn't want to give my business to an organization who would judge people coming in the door and treating them based on what they assume. Icing on the cake was when we were leaving, my 5 year old son saw multiple toy cars in one of the managers room and he is like i just want to see those. Mr Adam responded to us that ohh you can get these kind of toys in stores like Jewel Osco... i had to respond that he has like 200 + toy cars and he is crazy behind cars and would want to look at any new toys which he sees. He then has the adocity to state to my son that we will give you one toy car when you ACTUALLY buy one from us. I just left from them feeling insulted, i could have made a big deal but I didnt want to act as a jerk in front of my 5 year old son as i have always taught him to respect people no matter what. Maybe its Adams personality to talk to all his customers the way he did with me, i am in sales and i know how to handle customers and i would never talk to anyone like that even when i get a sense that they cannot afford to buy what they are looking at. Maybe its better for me to give my business to a dealership who value their customers!

I would definitely recommend you to visit this dealer if you are looking for a car.. They even pick you up to go get the car :))

A new car shouldn’t have problems like this! They will sell you a lemon and kick you out of their dealership when you go seeking answers and I have it all on video. At this point I am going to the Attorney General. In the beginning I made multiple attempts to inform the service staff the car smelled funny they ignored me... a few weeks later my brand new Range Rover Sports engine blew. Begrudgingly, they replaced it and I was without it for a while a few weeks later the car has more problems and I had to turn it in yet again... this car has so many problems I never get to enjoy it. The sad thing is I wanted this car since I was young it was my dream car quickly turned nightmare. I just got my car back after about 4 months altogether of not having it and I am currently sitting in the middle of the street as I type this waiting for triple A because the car won't start, it is not the battery bc a jump won’t start it. This is the 3rd time since Friday (when I got it back) it has broken down. In the mean time I’m paying a car payment more than some mortgages and every time it’s in the shop I ride around in a kia bc they never have loaner cars. Trust me I’m a pro and know they never have a loaner, my car is always in the shop and it’s the worst service center customer service you’d ever imagine. They give your dirt back with dirt it’s sad (if you want to see I recorded the experience and can send it to you!) Save your money, biggest regret of my life! This has been going on for months and I didn't want to be that person running to a review site I really gave them so many chances but I just don't want anyone else to go through what I am going through. This car costs more than most mortgages and it won't even serve you. It's beautiful but it's a piece of garbage. The worst part is I had to go to Hinsdale to get somewhat decent service bc Hoffman was so rude. They take your money and treat you like the garbage cars they sell. Go to any other dealership but Land Rover! I'd rather ride a bicycle at this point.
