If they found any codes because of check engine light, They WILL NOT TELL U THE RIGHT ONE. Only because they are like a predators for money and soon as u approved for reparas suddenly the other "hidden" codes will pops up and they will put u in situation to overpay for all they did offering u a new part with extreme high estimate, and then I went to my mechanic and he says it was just a sensors ...not a professional dealer AT ALLLLLLLLL

We bought a used car from Brian Collins and everything was fine until the purchase was completed. We bought the car with accessories included in the price and when the car arrived in our state, the accessories were missing even though we were assured they were in the car. Hoping this was a simple mistake, we called Brian to see if they could be mailed to us. He has not returned any of our calls or emails and when my husband did talk to him, he was rude saying, “we were a deal that just won’t go away.” We still do not have accessories that were paid for which is completely unprofessional. I am sorry but working with a couple for less than a few weeks to buy a high end vehicle does not sound like a major inconvenience. Very disappointed and hope this kind of treatment and experience does not persist to others and through other land rover dealerships. This was our first buying experience through Land Rover and we are disappointed to say the least. I want to update my review since I posted it 3 months ago. We have been in contact with the dealership and they have since made adjustments and listened to us about our experience. They have been professional and tried to address our concerns.

Overall very poor purchase experience on a certified pre owned Range Rover. Made me feel like I was buying from a traditional stereotypical used car salesman. Deal involved smoke and mirrors, make sure you review your paperwork closely. They tried to take a year off the extended warranty for the same price after it was verbally agreed upon. They have signs posted everywhere that they do not inflate their used car prices to "win" the negotiation. There was plenty of negotiation and price reductions. They asked me to come in and sign the paperwork (last day of the month) before the check they had cleared, it was a check sent directly from a credit union. Even though it worked nicely for them to get the deal done that month they refused to transfer my plates until the next business day. I would have much rather waited a day and came in after they were comfortable with the funds verification, they basically wasted my time to benefit the dealer. Overall very poor experience. The salesman said I would get a post purchase survey, however that just happed to be suppressed.

I'm not sure how they run things over there, but I had to take my business to another Land Rover dealership. Its really frustrating when a dealership employees can't even recognize you when you come in with a simple "Hello". Everybody there is so busy looking at there computer or cell phones and or just sitting there. It is also to my surprise that they hardly have any minorities working there, from sales to service - none. I would not recommend this dealership at all, unless you are a super rich white person. (and I'm white)

My parent bought our 1996 Land Rover Discovery, 2010 Range Rover Supercharged, and 2006 Land Rover LR3 from this dealership. I can't say much about the Discovery but I can tell you that when we were purchasing the Range Rover we originally went to the Jaguar of Naperville but after realizing that they knew absolutely nothing about the vehicle its self we decided to come here. The service here was great and when they showed us the car they knew what they were talking about and they knew what was on the car and what would be on the car. I do recommend taking and or purchasing your next Land Rover or Range Rover here.

I agree with you on that last post. My experience there was horrible. The GM and his staff is all about money and less on customer service. I bought 2 Land Rover's there in the past and was treated really well. The new staff less my two favorite sales people whose been there for years, are not as friendly. I to have noticed there is no minority service people. They have in the past a sales lady that was a minority, but that was during the time when customer service was an A+. I live and work in Hinsdale but unfortunately there is still a color bearer, and Hinsdale Land Rover is one of them.

By far the worst experience I've had with a dealership. I inquired about a vehicle online and was contacted the same day by Brenda Arteaga (internet sales manager). After blowing my phone up with multiple calls, text, and email throughout the day, I called her back once I had free time. Immediately I noticed how unprofessional she is and her lack of people skills. I told her I wanted to lease and what terms I wanted (36/10k), already knowing the current money factor for my credit score (.00001) and residual (55%) for said vehicle ($87906 / Sale price $79116) I knew what the payments were looking like with $0 down (~$950 with tax per my zip). She didn't like this at all and turned hostile, demanding $4k down for the payments I want without even checking (immediately trying to inflate the money factor??). This led to more attitude from her and eventually hanging up on me lol. Here's the best part, I called again to work with someone else other than her and come to find out, that vehicle was already spoken for and being picked up that night. Brenda was seriously trying to sell me a vehicle that was already sold! Lmao. This dealership is a joke. Looks like I'll continue doing business with Audi and BMW!

On Friday, May 31st 2019 I called Land Rover of Hinsdale about a car I found online. After speaking with a salesperson on the telephone and confirming with him a payment and their dealership having the car, I drove over 1 hour to Land Rover of Hinsdale. When I arrived, I was first told by Assad that the dealership needed all my information before we could look at the car and verify if they had calculated the payment correctly. I pressed to see the car before moving any further and was walked out to the wrong vehicle, being told the vehicle I was looking at online was already sold because it was a "Special Order". He then tried to sell my husband and I another color even though I stressed we were looking for a specific color combination on the phone. Had we wanted the other color combination, we could have went to another dealer which was 1/2 the distance from our home and where we work. Needless to say, I will never do business with this dealer or the salesperson who took our call!

Each of them were dynamic in the capacity they served which is why I rated them with 5's. This location looks old and dated! The service department looks cluttered and small. For being a luxury dealership it definitely looks like they where pinching pennies on the square footage. No where to park. And they don't honor service or parts specials that other Land Rover's have. Never going back.

Be cautious when you buy a car from Land Rover Hinsdale. We bought a used car, and we were told that it was a one owner vehicle with no accidents. The carfax was provided. Two days ago, we tried to sell that car to carmax, and one accident was reported with frame damage and paint work. The car now has less value, and I am not even sure if it is a safe car to drive. I was shocked and disappointed. We went to the dealership yesterday and spoke to the manager, and it seemed like it was not a big deal to them. I am going back this Saturday, and hopefully, this big issue will be resolved in a proper manner. Once again, I am shocked because this car is our daughters car, and it is all about the safety. I will keep you posted.

WORST EVER EXPERIENCE!! NEVER EVER GO WITH THEM. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, THERE ARE PLENTY OTHER LAND ROVER DEALER SHIP. 1) I supposed to do finance but they can able to get me finance for 6.9% interest rate although I have 750 plus credit with Fulltime employment and no liabilities, and still they couldn't able to help me with any other alternate option which is unfair. 2) we supposed to get finance under my brother's name but due to high interest and no any other alternate any options decided to pay cash and will change under my name so Sales person's expression was bad due to he has to reenter all my information which can take barely 5 minutes and still. 3) second key didn't have battery in remote key, (if we go mall to buy cloth which we like and it is bit torn and sales associate will say it just very small stitches needed, would you buy it? NO because why we should hassle if we buying something new event though for 20 bucks and this one was 20K) 4) Rotor was rusted the day i saw car, so i requested sales person to fix it to look it better and he said he will try and when i came for pick up it wasn't done and i asked them to fix it they said we have to pay mechanic to fix it do you think it sounds good, they want to sale it as it is and wants to make only money 5) big scratch on dashboard but i came at night time and dash board was waxed so couldn't able to see it. 6) second day side signal and tail light got blown, and was 2 hours far from Chicago around 9 pm and have to drive with out side signal and tai light. 7) Heated mirror not working 8) Heated seat on driver side not working 9) U connect connectivity dropping bluetooth connection with mobile device sometime This is overview of my experience spending 20K. I would have check everything before buying it if I was at unbranded dealership but I thought Land rover dealership is big brand and I had expectation that I will get better service with quality if i will buy from Branded dealership but unfortunately............. I contacted them through email multiple times but never heard back from them. NEVER EVER GO WITH THEM, VERY FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED EVEN THOUGH PAID 20K.

Typically my experience is really good at this dealership. I like the Hindsdale location much better than Land Rover Naperville where they don't talk to you unless you are buying a new Range Rover. I didn't buy my HSE from Hindsdale but I was working with a really nice woman at the time and they just didn't have what I wanted. Anyway, this is the second time I've brought my car for service and this time I'm extremely disappointed. I made an appointment for 7am on Monday to drop off my car and I told them I would need a loaner. I was told it wasn't a problem and that I would get a Land Rover loaner. When I arrive, I'm told there are no loaners left because the sales team is selling them fast and their loaner inventory has been drastically reduced. Linda called Enterprise for me and after about a 45 minute wait, they finally arrived and I barely made my 8:30 meeting. While Linda did tell me there were a lot of cars from the weekend and she wouldn't be able to get to it until the next day, they ultimately didn't look at my car until Friday. Only to tell me I needed a battery before they can do the diagnostic test. I'm appreciative that I have a car to drive but I kind of feel like it was a bait and switch. I asked of one came in , could I bring this rental car back and Linda told me no. If you bring a Land Rover in, one would expect that you get one or something similar to drive. Furthermore, if there were 10 cars ahead of mine, why wouldn't they tell me that at the time I made the appointment and give me the option to bring it in later? I certain didn't expect to have my car gone this long. I have spoken to salespeople in the past and they have been nothing but nice so when I trade later this year I would like to consider them but I am bothered by the obvious lack of minority staff. It would be nice to see more people of color and not just admins or techs, I'm talking about sales and management. It's Saturday and I still don't have my car back or even know what wrong with it. I guess I'll just have to wait, drive this KIA and anticipate a massive bill. Hopefully in the future they will tighten up a bit on their service process.

In any customer oriented business ,you keep an eye on who is stepping in on your door steps.It is lacking at your place.Every body seems to be pretending to be busy on their desk,rather than getting up and greeting the customer. I have to come to your desk and ask for a sales person.Sales person was kind enough to do good job and get it over on the same day.I hope your service department will be more responsive to customer service.Smile,greet and pretend to show little happiness.

I purchased a 2013 Cadillac Escalade here. The only good part about the entire transaction was the salesman, Steve. The rest was the worst dealing I have ever had with a dealership. First, we were told that we were getting two keys for the vehicle, we only received one. I was approved for financing before I got there and told them this. Next thing I know, it takes a long while to get paperwork done and then we were ushered into the finance guy (Donnie) where he would not take no for an answer. He got very angry and rude with us when we said we already had financing. I've never been treated the way I was treated there. It took them a long time to change our license plates over. As we were walking outside I noticed that the plate was on wrong as you can see in the picture. He screwed them into the hitch cover with self tapping screws!! After we were home for a week, I got notification that there were more papers to sign and they sent a notary to finish up with the title. Then today, I received a phone call (27days after we purchased the truck) from Donnie. He said he underestimated the registration for our vehicle and we owed $460 more. I told him this was the worst dealing I've ever had with a dealership and he informed me that it happens out of state. I have dealt with dealers out of state many times before. and this has never happened! My recommendation to you.....Stay AWAY! especially from their finance department!!

I didn't buy a car from them, thankfully. But I got literally to the finance office to write a check and asked to see the carfax, only to find out it had been in an accident. I couldn't believe a franchised dealer would sell a car like that. There was another one on the lot that I liked so I asked about that one instead - their response - "it's been in an accident too." Looks like this place buys the cars others won't at auction and probably buys them very cheap.

I have owned 4 Land Rovers from Knauz Motors, and they have been spectacular to work with. I decided to give Land Rover Hinsdale a shot and it has been the worst experience in purchasing a car. I bought a used 2012 LR4 that did not have both keys, and I was told that was not their problem, then I took it into Knauz to have them check it out and found that the left front tire only had 40% of tread left (only one tire was like that?) so I had to Purchase two new tires. The best was when I was down in Florida, with my one key fob, and the battery died on the fob. I went to use the key to open the door and of course the key is missing! When I got back I contacted the Sales Manager JT a few times and have never received a call back. This dealership is horrible and there customer service is just as bad, Buyer Beware!!!

I was in the market for a certified Range Rover Sport and worked with a few dealerships in the Chicago-land area. All tried to give me the run around about why they wouldn't certify the vehicles I looked at. The sales teams were not nearly as engaging, and I felt like they really did not want to sell a vehicle. The team at Hinsdale Land Rover went out of their way to find me a certified pre-owned Land Rover Sport, and exceeded my expectations with quality, price, and professionalism. I had a terrible experience to own a brand new Land Rover discovery sport HSE, I owned it about two and halt months, I had to go back for service four times. First time, after I had the car one week, I found the warm up system is not working, I went back to fix it, after 4 days later, I got back my car, I found they scratch my car, I had to go back for second time service, they sprayed the liquid to fix the scratch, make it lighter, but I still can see it. Two weeks later, I heard the noise from the front of the car, also, the ECO system was not working, I had to go back for the third time service. They told me they changed some parts of my car, there was the long wait, after 21 days, they sent back the car for me, but the ECO system still wasn't working, I call back to the service manager, but he told me ECO only work for spring and summer time, I didn't believe them. After two weeks, that was the fourth time service, I went to different location dealer to fix the ECO problem, finally, the problem was fix, but I am still afraid the car will have more problem come out. The total service time was 26 days. I waste lots of time and gasoline to go back for servers. People who want to buy this kind the car need to consider about my experience before to buy.

Do not try to negotiate a NEW car price at this dealership as the online prices on the cars are the best that they can do, they are not willing to budge a dollar. When I went to have my car serviced, the garage door into the service area didn't work. I sat there for five minutes. Upon bringing my car in, I was told it would take the team 45 minutes to have perform service. Later, I was told it would be 2 hours after the 30 I had already waited. I had to ask to get a ride to work which was 3 miles away because loaner vehicles did not exist. I received a call 4 hours after I visited and was told the computers aren't working, so I couldn't get my software upgrade. I had to find my own ride back to the dealer, and now have to go return to have my service completed. The prices for oil changes, alignments, tire rotations are completely out of line and nearly 75% more than other reputable places. As I was waiting to get my car, there was an associate who could not help me find my keys, and the porter was looking for the wrong person. During the time waiting, two service associates were talking about someone else's car who's brakes "were completely f***ed." Not what I would want to hear in a dealership. Finally, as I was leaving, I went to use the restroom only to be told the men's restroom was out of order, and the women's restroom had to be used. It was not cleaned. It's safe to say I will never return to this dealership. Teach your associates not to tell customers to give perfect scores on surveys.

This dealership has THE WORST service center I’ve ever experienced. First incident i tried to call in to get pricing on a service job and i had to call back 3 different times/days as no one would return my message. After that I dropped off my car for a SCHEDULED oil change and they tell me while I'm doing the paperwork that the car will be done by next day.Its a SCHEDULED oil change and they cant do it at the time the appointment. i had to urge them to do it same day as i needed my car. In another incident, i go in for a SCHEDULED service appointment and upon waiting for 15 minutes I'm told they will look at my car after 1 or 2 days even though i have a scheduled appointment. Then they tell me to go to the waiting area as i wait to get my loaner, 5 minutes later they come saying they have no loaners and can have someone drop me off. Not only are they not working on my car at the scheduled appointment time but they are also expecting me to be without a car for days even though i was SCHEDULED to have a loaner car. One would think you would get superior service at a luxury dealership but this location has shown otherwise!!!

Avoid this service department. Short story: They gave me a $19,000 incorrect diagnosis, made my truck's issues worse, refused to acknowledge it. I subsequently fixed at an independent shop for under $1000 that exposed their incompetence. Long story: I brought my 05 Ranger Rover (one that I purchased at this location, Dan in sales is great 5 stars for him) for an intermittent problem I was having with ABS, Air Suspension, HDC related to CAN communication errors. Joe, service rep requested 4 hours of diagnostic time, which I agreed to. Joe gives me a diagnosis of bad wiring harness with a price tag of $19,000. I decline repairs and ask to pick up my car. Porter brings the car and I notice the panels in the trunk , center console are not properly fastened, I asked the service manager(Lori?) come see the condition of the vehicle. She was apologetic, and offered to take back (nice gesture). Frustrated I left. On my drive home I notice that my intermittent problem is now constant. I call Joe on my way home to tell him that the car is not functioning the way it was when I brought to them- it is worse. He tells me that it must be because the deteriorating wiring harness and I should consider selling or junking the car. I requested a refund for damaging my car and not putting it back together they refused. I took my vehicle to a local shop in the city and he diagnosed and repaired for under $1000. Said that the CAN connections were gapped by improper probing likely during "diagnosis" by Hinsdale service leading to continuous problem.

Prior to contacting Steve Miller at Hinsdale, I had spent months attempting to arrange for the purchase of a 2016 RRS HST with a dealership much closer to my home in ND. After not receiving a reasonable level of customer service, I contacted Steve. I called him in the morning, and within a few hours was approved. That evening my family and I drove 12 hours to Illinois to pick up the car. Steve was nothing but professional. At times I thought he was more excited about the car than I was! Kris in financing was amazing and took the time to discuss all purchasing/leasing options with us. While I was signing my paperwork, Steve took it upon himself to feed our children some of the lunch that had been ordered in for the staff. The business was very kid friendly. Also impressed that the owner of the dealership came to thank us for driving such a distance to purchase a vehicle from them. I would recommend them to anyone, and will definitely purchase from them again.

I purchased 2017 Range Rover Evoque. The sales person, Mike Ryan, did not explain ANY of the features of the car to me. In addition, two weeks after the purchase of the car, I noticed the car is missing an important component - SIM Card that helps the car be connected and provide all additional features. I called Mike Ryan and he told me to bring the vehicle in. I did as I was told, week later, they inserted a sim card without even registering the sim card with the vehicle's VIN. I called Hinsdale AGAIN, Mike Ryan started making excuses how they are not being trained and he will call AT&T and Land Rover USA. After his useless attempts to resolve the issue, he advised that he needs to delete my account and re-connect the vehicle. This turned into another disaster as he could not re-connect the vehicle for another day (supposedly there was a technical issue). Finally, he made that possible, however the sim card was still not working. Eventually , Mike Ryan was unable to provide any resolution. I ended up resolving the issue myself. Please be aware that this dealership is RIDICULOUS. They sold me a 60k car without even explaining the details and providing additional assistance that will lead to resolution. I will NEVER set foot there again. They lost my business. DO NOT BUY FROM THERE!!!!!

Disappointed with the dealership's willingness to actually sell a car. I requested internet pricing for a car and was told that they can offer MSRP and that it was an aggressive price. Anyone can walk into a dealership and buy a car at MSRP anytime but nobody does because we live in a world with an abundance of information to help better inform buyers. Other dealers are willing to sell at year-end clearance prices. I've been a customer of Bill Jacobs' family of dealers for years but feel that this experience was suboptimal - driving me to look at other dealers instead. My advice to anyone looking to buy is to make sure that you are well informed on pricing before dealing with them or risk not getting a market-competitive price.

Went into Bill Jacob's Jaguar Land Rover yesterday because I wanted more information on potentially leasing and left with the most gorgeous range rover! We were there a few hours but in that time, the staff were the friendliest and so welcoming. It honestly did not feel like your typical dealership experience nor does it have that vibe. I felt like I could be honest with them and they were honest in return throughout the entire process. The decor and how they're set up is relaxed and welcoming. I own a 2018 Range Rover Velar P380 with 8,500 miles, the car is about 18 months old from first delivery, and had an oil service about a year ago with 4,700 miles. Recently the service warning light was on, so I sent the car to this dealership for a regular maintenance. The service advisor Bret quoted me $524 plus tax for this scheduled maintenance and I thought the cost was a little high considering the miles and age of the vehicle, I asked what's supposed to be done and he explained to me the service includes oil and filter change, bunch of inspections, air filter and pollen filter change. I trusted his professionalism and gave him the go ahead. I later found out from their own website and as well as from the owner's maintenance manual that the air filter was not needed until 32,000 miles and the pollen filter until 64,000 miles. I felt cheated and immediately contacted the service advisor Bret and tried to get his explanation, every time he said he will get back to me and never did, then I later on left messages and e-mail to the general manager of the dealership and never got his response either. This is really not acceptable, what they don't realize is whatever they gain on that one service order, they loss a customer for good and I will definitely make sure I spread the word to everyone I know. So unfortunate people like this gave car business bad reputations. WHAT AN ORGANIZATION, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!

When I stopped by to pick up the car, they had charged me an additional $40 for wiping the wheels. I had not asked for this service. $400 some later, they were useless.

I wish I would have read the terrible reviews before I even walked into this dealership. They have been nothing but a headache. After many long hours of them helping everyone but us we purchased a 2017 Cadillac Escalade from them. We took it for a short test drive before this and asked the sales person about the air-conditioning not feeling cold and he assured us that we just had the settings incorrect, but once we got back on the road it was clear the air conditioning did not work at all. So at nine months pregnant, in the heat of July we drive four hours home with no air-conditioning. That was just the beginning. Since then we’ve had the vehicle in the shop several times and had to have the struts replaced, and have the vehicle realigned. The signal on the left rear view mirror does not work. They had assured us that they had gone through the car with a fine tooth comb in their service department. That was obviously a lie. When we finally received our license plates several weeks after our temporary plates had expired, we had one week until the license and registration expired despite having paid the dealership to pay for an additional year since we were so close to the renewal time. We called to ask them for a refund of our 600+ dollars that paid the next year‘s registration fee. They agreed to do so but here we are three months later and have not received that money back. They claim that check will come from a third-party processing company but we don’t have it. So I’ve had to pay another $600+ to my local county for the money that I’m waiting to get back from them. Despite having more than sufficient income and a credit score that hovers around 800 they couldn’t finance my loan for less than 5% interest I think it was 5.6%. So now I’m working with my local credit union to refinance the vehicle I just purchased. I’m guessing Wells Fargo gave them the best kickback on the loan so they picked what was most beneficial to them. All in all I would say this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a dealership and I’ve had some pretty bad experiences. Unless the $600+ is returned soon, I plan to take legal action.
