If you have time to read what I am about to post please do, if I could give them zero stars I would! I purchased a 2011 Chevy Malibu from this dealership which I terribly regret. I asked the salesman who sold me the vehicle if the car has ever been in an accident and he said no but a couple months after I bought the car I found out the car was in an accident. I purchased the warranty on my vehicle since the vehicle was sold as is just to make sure I had some type of coverage on my car. It was a good idea I did purchase the warranty because the transmission went out on my car 8 months after I bought it. I took the car to the dealership and they did a terrible job on my car because I had to bring it back to them 3 more times within 4 months. The last time I took my vehicle back to the dealership to fix it they told me the engine and transmission needed to be replaced. I was told a rebuilt engine/ transmission would be put in my vehicle under my warranty coverage. It took them a month and a half to work on my vehicle after they gave me a hard time. Six months later the transmission goes out again and now the dealership won’t fix my vehicle anymore because my warranty is maxed out which I paid an extra $2000 plus and the overall total of the vehicle. The service department mentioned that i had only 90days or 12,000 mileage I couldn’t exceed to bring my vehicle back if something happens to the transmission which they never expressed when they finished working on my vehicle six months prior. They told me the transmission was used instead of rebuilt and came from a junk yard. After talking to the general manager who didn’t help me out much at all I am left paying for a vehicle that doesn’t work due to a bad transmission that was originally in the vehicle and poorly used one that was put in the car. I regret ever buying a car from them and now filing a lawsuit against them and the warranty company because of lack of information given and false claims.

It's been thru 2 engines due to a recall on the 1st engine, which was replaced immediately at No Charge! So adding up both motors and the total mileage on our Civic it came to 353,000+, that's right, ask Community Honda. Thats why we will purchase our next Honda from Community Honda. Great Service and Repair dept. and Thanks to Andrew for making my wife feel comfortable and answering all her questions about Airbag recall installation.

Went in to have license plates changed out. One of the employees decided to drill out the screws. The screw broke off and cost me $90. Thank you very much (the plates were actually free!!). Bought 3 cars from here, been a customer for 15 years. Never again

Great, positive experience with staff. Called ahead for the best quote, got e-mail confirmation, and we ended up there getting our car. Offer was great, couldn’t get the same from my local dealership. Their choice. Thank you Communty Honda for the great offer. We have asked for specific color in their inventory, and quoted price was for it. We switched to white color, the same trim. When we agreed on our trade in car, and quoted price early of our new Pilot I have noticed 389$ added to price tag ( mud guards and anti theft wheel locks). I did not negotiate the price on installed equipments. This would be a note for next buyers to ask, so no surprises.:) Friendly Jake was very informative during whole process of buying the car, stopped few times to let us know our waiting time for finance person, how many new Honda owners are ahead of us, even his work with us was done. Finance adviser will offer you more service, extended warranty with different pkgs, etc... Be patient, she tries to sell you more options, but she does her job. There is listed items of extended warranty covers, and you as buyer should get the listed items, so you know what you deal with if your ride need to be fixed under ext warranty. It was their very busy day. Thanks again for great, positive experience to Community Honda crew.

Just bought a brand new Odyssey and I thought there was an issue with the vehicle. I was disappointed having to feel there may be an issue at 1st but the way Greg and the service team took care of us was way more than I could've imagined. Someone drove 20 miles to get my wife's vehicle just in case there was a major issue. That was service 1st, WOW. Nothing wrong with the vehicle just a new car breakin smell. Which happens I guess. Greg, you were awesome - Thank You!! Never owned a Honda but so far the loyalty is gaining on my end. I came and test drove a few cars with my wife, when we walked in we were greeted by John Schultz who is very upbeat and and a very outgoing personality. He showed us the two vehicles we were interested in and explained the differences between both. I liked how he guided us through the process and was very straight forward and honest. My wife decided on the Honda crv and she purchased the one she wanted. After all was said and done we were greeted by Sue who thanked us for our business and I thought that was and nice personal touch. The sales staff (particularly Jake ) was great. We are buying a truck in the near future, and Jake wasn't pushy when my wife and I requested a test drive of the Ridgeline. Will go back to him if we decide to buy. However, the service staff (particularly William Savage) does make me not want to do business with the place. Pushing repairs by exaggerating the issues and acting like it's dangerous if you say no. I'm sorry, but I'm not fan of the scare tactic. Some people actually do research things to know there isn't a large concern. If I end up choosing to buy a Ridgeline elsewhere you can thank him for it.

Bought my car here but wouldn't recommend. My sales guy cared more about the sale than making sure my wants were met with my request. Waited a day or 2 for him to go to warehouse to get my requested car (white civic with black interior) and he came with a white one with a tan interior and tried talking me into it knowingly how much I hated it. And than tried talking me into a blue or red civic. Had to wait another week. When they finally got it to me, the price was up and they didnt take anything off even enough 150 miles were put on it.

I am very displeased with the customer service in the service department at this location. My mom is older and sick and every time she goes to community honda they give her a hard time. My mom car needs a transmission, after they had just fixed the car two weeks ago, they told her it would be in Friday ( This was a Tuesday), so she asked for a rental car, all of a sudden two hours later the company was telling her that her transmission had came in and the car was ready for pick-up, this is impossible. What a terrible way to treat a person by either giving wrong information or not checking on the status of the vehicle from the beginning. I would not recommend anyone send there mother or older parent here alone without assistance because this place has no regard or compassion for there customers.

I have leased 3 Accords previously from them. When my lease was up this time, it was also time for me to purchase a new vehicle (a Pilot this time after 4 Highlanders). I purposely planned our visit at a time when our previous sales team (Dennis P. and Sales Manager Terry Keenan) were available. From the moment I sat down, I laid out my parameters...15,000 (not 12,000) mile lease on the Accord and 48 (not 60) month financing on the Pilot. After spending 3.5 hours doing the "let me check with my manager" dance, Terry finally comes in with a sheet of paper with notes scribbled all over, but with $400 for the Pilot and $438 for the Accord written large in a big circle. He points and tells me this is the deal he will do. I told him "you came down, I'm going up, it's a fair compromise". Fast forward to the finance office. Because it is now after hours, the fiance person (good guy) quickly goes over the Accord paperwork. I sign. He then presents the Pilot paperwork and it's for 60 months. I told him, no, I said from the beginning I would only do 48 months. Terry is paged, comes storming in blaming the victim, and points to a 60 scribbled in a corner nowhere near the large $400 circled. I walked on the Pilot. The next business day, at the suggestion of a number of friends, I went to Continental Honda in Countryside. Night and day. Drove home in a new Pilot. The cherry on the whip cream? I just received my first lease statement for the Accord. Terry slipped that in at 12,000 miles. So in the end, he did not compromise, he actually increased the lease. The ultimate "used car salesman". Bad business decision. We get a new car every 2-3 years. It will now be from Continental. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was the actual salesman Dennis was very pleasant, although at the end of the day, he knew what Terry did to make the sale. My suggestion...run don't walk away from this dealership...

I attribute this on the Honda brand but also on the excellent service provided by Community Honda over the years. i recently had my starter replaced by Community Honda and now not even six months later my car still stalls before starting. When I took it back i was told there wasn't anything wrong. You can clearly hear the starter struggling to start. I'm convinced i was told that there was no problem beverage they don't wasn't to replace it and prefer i buy a new car. I'm truly disappointed and feel taken advantage of.

Wonderful Experience! I do not like haggling, negotiating and feeling like I am in the middle of car dealer tricks. I did not get any of that at Community Honda. Mike Mitchener made me and my family feel comfortable about purchasing our Odyssey. He is down to earth and straight forward. No tricks, no hassle, no arrogance. We left the other Honda dealership we used to purchase our cars from because of those exact sales attitudes. Mike was the complete opposite. We checked out 3 Honda dealers in the area and this was one of them. They had our favorite color combinations with interior and exterior but were the highest with their prices and not willing to negotiate at all so we went elsewhere. I’d go to the Honda in Countryside and Lisle before this one. Don’t waste your time here. The car we went to see also had someone’s lunch trash in the backseat so higher prices and less professional dealer.

They sold me damaged car with clean car fax report/ Autocheck. When I went to their dealership to see the car, they took 45 min to show the car. The very first thing is they do buffing and waxing, so that they can cover deep scratches and small dent. I bought the car and inspected in nearby Honda dealership where they found ac condenser was damaged from previous wreckage. Also 12k miles it is used as a demo car and also used by dealership employee for compute which are not shown in car fax report. salesman Tony (Anthony) granata never told anything about this and sales manager Susan says she can't accept other dealership report and says no previous damage and car was been used by dealership employee for sometime. I requested them to change ac condenser, but She was insisting me to buy dealership warranty where they can give $1k discount (the price they were quoting was so high where it doesn't make sense to buy it).End of the day learnt the dealership tactics and how they cheat people and sell cars. I would recommend to deal with honest dealership instead of community honda.

Leased my car a little over a year ago and have had 1 oil change and a tire fixed. I have a copy of the paperwork showing the agreement that I paid for the maintenance, now they're saying it was cancelled in their system a month after i leased the car and now went cover my maintenance. I talked to the general manager about it and he could care less. I'm going to take my business elsewhere. They have great up front service but once you're already in they could care less about you.

Like Honda dealer but am concerned about overselling to customers who are already paying for oil changes when a car has not even hit a eighteen thousand mile mark. Why change a transmission filter? Does honda make such cheap filters that they dont last till at least 60 thousand miles? Just wondering?

This was my first experience at community Honda. I typically hate car dealers. Frank was my sales guy and he spent quite some time with me until I found the right car. It was right after a major snowstorm and he was clearing off each car I wanted to test drive without the typical complaining or reluctance that you would expect. Finally, he and Joe, the manager sat with me as if we were friends from years ago. The price was right and they even promised me a snow removing tool that was the coolest thing I’d ever seen since Betty White. Way better than a brush!! Finally, the finance guy (don’t remember his name) was quick and ready for me. It didn’t take the typical 5 hours to buy the car. I would totally recommend!!!

I've been taking my car to Community Honda for service over ten years when it was bought new. The Service team is outstanding! I tell them what is wrong with my car and they don't B.S. me around. They will tell me up front if there is a check out charge then call me before any work is done. They tell me what needs to be done right now and what can wait. I gotta like that about them especially Randy Pribyl! When they call you and the work is done. There are no added surprises like those chain shops. The price is what you were quoted. And as far as the service work done, you can't beat experienced Honda techs!

The service department is pathetic. I went in for a B1 maintenance, which is and oil change, fluid check, inspection and tire rotation. I was told the price which I said I did not need to pay because it is part of my lease. He looked lost and I explain in very easy to understand facts. I then said I wanted my wiper inserts changed. He said that would cost extra and I agreed. I waited over two hours for this routine maintenance. I final was told my car was ready. I went to the service desk and he said I would have to wait a minute (which turned out to be fifteen) because they charged me for two oil filters. I said you didn’t charge me because my maintenance is paid for by the dealership. He said he still had to. I finally get to my car and it was started so I drove off. I got to the major intersection by the dealership and realized my tire pressure warning was on. I thought nothing of it and just figured I would have my tires inflated. I went to two places and had it check and the tire pressure reset. The light kept coming back on. I then called the dealership service department again and they made another appointment for me. I get there and they said it would be an hour to reset the warning. I said that is a long time for such a simple thing. Cut to almost two and a half hours later and they finally had my car ready. I get into to my car and every setting/placement of everything in my car was changed and I had to setup my car as if it was completely new again. I will never deal with this dealership for my leasing or purchasing needs again.

have been in the service center 3 times with my Civic. This time they charged me 164.00 to take off the bumper instead of using the access panel in front of his face. Because I had an after market lip on the bumper. Wanted to charge me 1434.00 to replace the radar sensor. Well I did a hard reset and the sensor works again! On top of that mechanic left one of the clips off the part. THEY IGNORED ALL CALLS AND EMAILS! Shaddy shaddy dealership. They don't want to work out this issue. But when I get on the radio next week I will be sure to let over 300.000 listeners know how this business does people..

AVOID this place for a used car!!! Test drove used vehicle on a Saturday night - wouldn’t start because no gas in it and weather was very cold. Took husband in to look at car which BTW they raised the price of $500 between Saturday and Wednesday. Told internet sales manager to have car ready by 9 am to test drive and he assured me it would be as I had to take off work. Arrive at dealership by 9 am - car not ready and still has no gas in it. Car was not ready until 9:30 pm for us to test drive. On test drive check engine light comes on and passenger side blowing cold air instead of heat. Salesman Stefan gives us a lame “We will have the mechanics look at these issues and follow up with you”. I never heard back from Stefan and internet sales manager called me to follow up the next day and silence when I told him what happened. My husband who has a mechanical background was horrified they wanted so much for a used car with all those issues. What a waste of time!!! Maybe is we were buying a brand new Honda we would’ve been treated differently.

We paid for this van in full, and now we will be paying for a tow, a new alternator, and a rental. Bought the bumper to bumper warranty. What a rip off. Cost a great deal of money and it did not cover the diagnostic fee. Never got a call explaining this. They just told me all the work they performed and how the mechanics need to get paid. Very disappointed in the way this was handled. This is my 3rd Honda vehicle and always had a pretty good experience dealing with Honda but this was pretty lousy. Just because you could not find the problem does not mean that you should stick the customer with a bill. Seems petty. UPDATE ::::: Spoke with a service manager at another Honda dealership and he confirmed that I should not have paid for the diagnostic check. If the tech saw there was a problem and it was fixed, then the car was serviced under the bumper to bumper warranty. If you want great service at a Honda dealership, go to Continental Honda in Countryside. UPDATE::::::: I did call your dealership and left a message for Joe. Nobody ever returned my call. My guess is that you want to seem like you care about your customer but only on the surface. Not returning my call was another failed attempt.

I purchased a 2014 Honda Accord from another dealership, and bought the full warranty just in case. A month after I bought it, my tire pressure light wet on and I was closest to the Orland dealership so I went there. My vehicle was certified, which is self explanatory but also means that the tires have minimally half of their life left when I bought it. The Orland dealership told me all 4 of my tires were completely worn out and all needed to be replaced. I explained that I just bought the vehicle and the car was certified. They told me it didn't matter and the were going to replace all 4. I told them absolutely not and to take it off the rack. They were baffled and tried to convince me to replace them. I did not change my mind. I instead drove it back to the dealership I bought it from and explained the situation. They looked at all 4 tires and said they were perfectly fine and I just needed to calibrate my tire pressure for the light to go off. (The cold weather is what affected it). Long story short, the Orland dealership tried to pull a fast one on me and make me spend money for no reason. I'm disgusted and never going back. The dealership I bought my car from told me other customers have had similar experiences there. It's nice to know some people care about the customer and not the money.

I have always had fantastic experiences at Community Honda. I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership and the team there has always been courteous and welcoming. You don't get the usual car salesman treatment here. Frank has always gone above and beyond for us. He's always known exactly what we were looking for and has diligently searched for it. The GM, Joe, is so easy to work with. I hate shopping for cars because of the stereotypical car salesman tactics.... Joe and Frank could not be more opposite of that. The Female representative working the parts counter wearing the red shirt with brownish dyed hair, should learn to acknowledge her Customers standing in line. I waited for 10 minutes while she helped two other gentlemen. I understand she was working with another customer but don’t ignore the fact that I’m waiting in line. She actually never acknowledged me and I had to ring a bell for someone else to come from the back parts department. A simple I’ll be with you in a moment would have been nice. If you don’t want to deal with people maybe she should work in the back shop.

Where do I begin, If i could rate this with a NEGATIVE Star i would. First of all i scheduled an appointment on Friday to view the vehicle Saturday, when on my way up there Saturday i got a call my Myra stating that the car was not there one of the employees took it for the weekend and i could set up an appt for Monday . So I went up there on MONDAY Night with the intentions to purchase a vehicle. First off was there for 3 Hours, at that point they were getting the paperwork ready to sign for my vehicle they said it would be another hour and a half, sees as i live an hour away and it was ice storming I then asked if i can put the money down on the car that night and finish paperwork and pick it up tomorrow due to the lengthy travel and inclimate weather. I was then told NO, even though i had all intentions to purchase the vehicle clearly with paperwork being finalized and put down a LARGE amount of money to finish the ever so lengthy process the next day. The next day unfortunately being Illinois was worse and i could not get up there due to the roads being undriveable. I called and communicated i was still willing to give payment over the phone and pick up the next day. I was then called this morning to let me know that the vehicle was sold. This is unacceptable, i would not have had my credit ran 7 times by 7 different banks and signed half of the paperwork including the no warranty sheet for the car to be sold from under me. This is the worst shady dealership i have EVER delt with. There is a reason there prices are so low people be aware. You get what you pay for and they do not care about the customer.

09/21/19 afternoon visit - The guy who replenished my car’s windshield washer fluid overfilled the washer fluid reservoir and the fluid spilled over. The latest version of the owner’s manual for my car clearly states and I quote: “Pour the washer fluid carefully. Do not overflow the reservoir.” My service advisor told me the fluid is just water. I saw the fluid that was poured into my car’s reservoir. It was not just water. The fluid has another chemical besides water and I don’t want any other chemical on my vehicle parts where it shouldn’t be, especially when the manual clearly states not to overflow the reservoir. Washer fluid has at least one chemical that helps clear grime off glass. I don’t want any of that fluid staying on the parts inside of my car that I bought brand new. I bought the car at Community Honda of Orland Park. It’s also not the first time that I’ve seen my washer fluid reservoir be overflowed at this dealership.

while i was in for service i was browsing f the new cars and ran into Brian . he went over all the new Honda's and explained all the new safety features really well i wasn't planning on buying a new car but Brian was able to get my payments lower than they were before so i traded in my pilot and got a new accord . the redesign is outstanding looks like a Mercedes. I've never had a better buying experience than this.
