I needed an inexpensive radio with USB port. The sales guy found one and I paid in advance. Once installed there was no USB and was told all they could do was charge me for a more expensive radio. Total scam. I'll take my business elsewhere. Glad I found out how they are with only spending a couple hundred than with the $7k I'm putting in my nice ride.

Brought my wheel in to get straightened after I bent it on pothole, I was quoted between $60-$80 but had to pay $100 when I came in the next day. The wheel I got back had excessive runout and needed half an ounce of weights to balance out a bare wheel. While I don’t expect a miracle I’d expect better quality work for 75% the cost of a replacement wheel.

Came in with a dummy tire on my truck. They removed the nail from the problem tire, plugged it and put it back on. The tire is still in great shape! The guys there are NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. I will use their services again! They SAVED ME MONEY!

DO NOT GO HERE! THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF! Had my stereo installed here. First they told me they didn't have me scheduled even though I had called and set up an appointment 2 weeks prior. Then they said they would fit me in but wouldn't have the car done until 7. Why the Hell did I take a half day off then??? Then they finished up their garbage install. Didn't even ask me how I wanted my subs installed. Just left it unmounted in the back. Now when I go to pick it up they DAMAGED my center console. When I complained they told me I needed pictures of my console before I came in and refused to help repair it. They even tried intimidating me by ganging up on me outside. They kept saying I should've had pics of my console. As if people take pictures of their consoles and everything else before they bring in their cars, right? DO NOT GO HERE! THIS PLACE WILL RIP YOU OFF!

Where do I begin? I hate to rate this shop with only 1 star, but I've given this place multiple opportunities to give better service. My horrible experiences have all been with the older gentleman at the shop. I was told he is the owners father who is also a fellow copper. This gentleman has constantly treated me like a bum. Keep this in mind while I have spent over $7000 at this shop(22" vogues, 22" sirus wheels and tires, and other sound system upgrades) yet this person continues to be ignorant and rude. He yells at you to get the $!#*$ out of his store if you don't like his prices, not to mention his outburst towards his employees which I had the experience of witnessing more than once. I will never spend another dime there again as long as this disgruntled employee continues to work there. Too bad he's family because the owners business will suffer. I have found a new rim/sound shop close to this location and will encourage my associates to purchase there instead of spending there hard earned cash at ace tire and wheel and get scolded like a 3 year old. The only reason the shop gets any business is because they have a great manager Gilbert. I also feel bad for this man because he has to put up with the unsatisfied customers like myself who have dealt with the old man. Ace tire, good luck because you'll need it. I purchased 4 brand new tires with this company. They offer a manufacturer's warranty, not a shop warranty. They say the process can take a month or so. Be careful when you purchase tires because I purchased mine 6 months ago and I already need new tires because they put the wrong size on my car. Thank a lot.

Brought my rim and Bought a used tire and by the end of the day it was flat. Told them what was going on, and when they checked there was a nick near the sidewall where the air was escaping. The old man (maybe was the owner) said that i was the one who probably messed it up and would charge me to fix it. I NEVER EVEN USED THE TIRE HOW COULD I HAVE DONE THAT?!? Everyone else is nice (the people upfront in the counter) but that old man is atrocious and im never going back there again because of him. Going to buy my rims and custom interior somewhere else.

They take advantage of customers when they have a chance. They are dishonest, both the owner (the father) and sons, and will charge more having the opportunity, a higher price from what they usually charge. They increased the price on our repair after talking on the phone. Came back to ask them the reason for the increase on the price and had no explanation for it. Didnt clear the problem nor an explanation. They might have the parts, but worst customer service experience.

This place has great service I've spent alot of $$$ with them the only problem I have with them is they've quoted me prices on 3 separate occasions but then when I show up it's either gone up or he couldn't do what he said for a certain price $$ Always putting it off on the boss saying my boss won't let me do it for that then you need to learn how to price jobs or you or your boss is just greedy & are not men of your words.They do have sme nice luxury Rims which us basically why I've done buisness with them but mechanic wise & keeping their word they lack greatly in those areas.

Hands down ACE is the place!!(copyright) lol. No honestly I am truly grateful and appreciative of the support I recieved from the owner and staff, I have a 2002 gmc safari AWD I brought in to get her winterized and ready for chicago winter. Upon inspection the guys found a few other issues I was unaware of that would've been potentially life threatening. Now, under normal circumstances a cut throat shop would've made a big sale and sent me on my way but the guys did me a solid one and informed showed and fixed what needed fixing without pushing a sale. Thank you guys for everything you did and continue to do. Keep up the great work and god bless! Respectfully, A very satisfied customer.

Prices are reasonable but it seems to me that the workers don't know what they were doing when they worked on my jeep. They installed my adj track bar for me but when i got my jeep back my steering wheel was upside down just to be going straight along with my axle being shifted so with that problem being said it lead to more problems in my jeep( grinding noise everytime i broke so im assuming it was due to that axle being shifted since my brakes were only 2 months old. So i would not recommend this place to anyone.

I had my starter installed with them back in november and I had a great experience! Everyone was nice even though they were super busy I waited patiently because i would want them to take the time when assisting me. I was given a certain price for window tinting and was not able to get it done that day but i scheduled an appointment and they were willing to honor that price! For Christmas i got their Avital remote engine starter, when i went there in the afternoon to leave two of our cars at the shop it looked like it would take a business day for installation due to their workplace being packed. I called them in the evening and it turns out they're done with both cars. My verdict, there is no underestimating this shop nice employees and overall my first attempt was a very good experience. I will be coming back here again.

Back in early June, I came to ATW for a new Nissan Altima rear tire that blew up on my way home from work. It was the closest tire shop, at the time, of course. I waited three hours for service by rude, lazy workers who spent working hours yakking on their personal Smartphones and all they could sell me was a used, bald tire. Over 1,000 tires on the premises and I get a bald one? If I needed a Challenger or Charger tire, then they'd be happy to oblige me with a new one, considering that that facility dealt with sports car novelty rims that nobody really needs. The next day, I had the used tire replaced with a new one, only because my other rear tore blew up (thank you so much, Mayor Emanuel for not plugging potholes that obviously created many air pockets in those same tires) at a Quick Lane. Good riddance, is all I have to say.

07/28/2018 Sold me wheel spacers for my Jeep after two months of having them installed I lost my left rear wheel coming off the expressway onto Lagrange road. All five studs on the spacer sheared off. If this happened when I was still on 55 I would have been killed. When I called the owner of Ace Wheel and Tire he told me he was not responsible that he only installs them and did not want to even look at the pictures I took of the accident. I’m writing this review to warn people of this company and let them know not to put these spacers on your Jeep I don’t want to see anyone get killed the owner don’t care if you do it’s not he’s propblem he only puts them on.

I arrived on Saturday May 24th, wanted to purchase and replace car radio. The guy working at reception said, that they can replace it the same day. I said that would be great and I had something to do and return to the shop in 2 hours (around 4PM). When I arrived again, the guy said that they do not have radio replacement kit, which they needed to order and it would arrive on Tuesday (May 27) or Wednesday (May 28th). I said ok, let's do order that and the guy said to call Tuesday. I called on Tuesday and asked about my order, but the guy said not arrived yet, call on Wednesday. On Wednesday I called again, spoke with Miguel. He said that the kit is not in yet, took my phone number and said that they will call me. Nobody called me, and I called onThursday (May 29th) around 4PM. Miguel said that I did not order anyting. He could order the kit, if I paid a deposit. It took them almost a week to tell me that they won't order a kit until I make a deposit.

This place sucks horrible customer service the manager called me a Lier because he could not spell my names properly and said I have never been there and he would need to charge me to fix the starter in my call although the receipt states lifetime warranty however I did not have receipt and although eventually after spelling my name wrong 5 times he was able to get it and when he seen my name in the system he still stated he was gona charge me to fix the starter on car even though it's a life time warranty horrible service, horrible customer service would not recommend this place to anyone. He lied and stated I haven't been there since 2015 and that is a lie because 5 months ago I went there and got a new starter key for the starter but yet that was not in there system. Horrible place to service any vehicle had they done there job right the first time I would not have to be back. Starter for car has only worked one time since I purchased it

I had purchased a remote starter from here for a Xmas gift. When we called back to make the appointment for the install they stated it would be very busy the next few days. We decided to make an appointment on an accommodating time for the shop a few days in advance. The day of the install we arrived 30 minutes early and left the keys. I was told it would take 2-3 hours but it may be a little longer. After 4 hours I decided to call for an update and was told it would be another 2-3 hours. In other words, an appointment means nothing here. I could still understand at this point, but when I tried to explain to the person that I did not live in the neighborhood and had an appointment he hung up on me. When I called back the same person told me he has no time to listen to my sob story of why my car isn't done. I immediately canceled my purchase and went to pick up my money. When I arrived I was told by an employee that the owner or his son spoke to me on the phone. That is completely unprofessional and should be unacceptable to anyone that decides to do business with them. Just imagine how they will treat you if you purchase $500 worth of product from them and something goes wrong. My advise is simple, if the owner doesn't care about his customer's, why should you. Trust me go somewhere else.

Great Customer service! I called into Ace to gain some knowledge on some rims I am looking for my 2012 chevy Silverado. I did all my searching online and was going to pull the trigger on some rims from Amazon and then have discount tire install them. after reading the fine print I would have to get them shipped yes for free but if they didn't fit they would charge me restocking fee. so I contacted ACE tire and wheel talked to them informed them the exact rims I was looking for MOTO METAL MO970 18x10 -24 offset. I wanted that bigger lip on the rims for a more aggressive look. so talking with the guy on the phone from ace he informed me that if I got the rims it would not cost me anything if they didn't fit they would take them back and get me the right set up. that is a great luxury. Thanks ACE CANT WAIT to get the Rims on my Truck Today See you this afternoon!

Guy installed led light for my girlfriend car. They cut the cover cap to fit in led the head light however he said the guy "forgot " to put seal in it bc My head light has water flood inside. DO NOT GO THERE TO FIX YOUR HEAD LIGHT LED.. they damge head light and costed me $1,200 for both new head lights

Had a slow leaker on my wife's car, been driving for 15 min looking for a place that was open to see if they could fix it after being shunned by my local tire repair place ( that only does tire repair), I stopped in and it was hopping I'd say, after a few minutes one of the guys asked what I needed and was able to fit me in. It wasn't too bad of a wait, but they were busy as hell so I'm grateful they could help me out. In my wait I also notice the custom jobs that they had going on and I'm currently trying to man up my Jeep. I hope to stop by and see what Ace Tire and Wheel can do to help me in this adventure.

All, this place is the absolute worst business I have ever walked in to. Horrible, horrible service. Prices are average for wheels but really high for sound systems, service is horrible. These guys do not know what they are doing. Good luck if you are thinking of getting a sounds system or lift kit done by these guys. They do nothing but tires and wheels and even that they do wrong. Do NOT go there because when they screw your car up, good luck trying to fix it. They will make you come back multiple times. Horrible business. The owners dad does the wheels and he is one of the laziest people I have ever met. He turns down service for absolute no reason. I tried to speak to the owner and I was told his name is Juan and will be back in 30 minutes. I waited and never showed up. Another lie from the team there. While I waited I saw two other jobs turned down and a poor guy that was so frustrated because of the bad service they did to his classic Pontiac. Based on what I gathered they installed a system broke some panels, scratched his custom leather and had electrical issues after that. I’m glad I didn’t get my wheels done there and will never be back. I highly recommend Willy’s Tire shop in Pilsen for anything to do with wheels. Up to date equipment and Willy will always take care of you when he tells you to come in. I tried going to Ace Tire 3 times after a few people on the phone told me to come in, got there in 10 minutes and every single time was told that 3-4 cars had beat me in. Lies. The lazy old man just walking around smoking the first time, eating the second and flat out just didn’t want to work the third. Screw this place. The worst service you will ever get. They aren’t the only ones guys please shop around. They get enough work from Mancaris because they do all their wheels but I will never buy a car here either. Just don’t trust this place. I also recommend audio driven for sounds. It’s a litttle far but these guys are professionals there. Ace tire is a horribly bad run business. They don’t take care of the people that started with them anymore. Rims and tires are way cheaper online too. Just got a real nice set of American Racing polished wheels on eBay for $911 with shipping. Don’t need Ace Tire. The worst business around trust me.

The WORST SERVICE!. They fixed one of my rims and I told them, I want to see them before you install them..., was a Saturday, I was the first person by appointment that day, (arrived at 3:00pm), they finished at 7:15 for something small, they mounted on my SUV without showing them to me, I was thinking that they did a good job, but next day I checked them, and for my surprise, was the worst job ever!. Really unprofessional and expensive for the trash that they did, besides that, they scratched the front part of the rims and the wheels were not balanced, and couldn’t drive it anymore, I went to the shop on next Monday, and talked to them again, the guy from the desk is a really good guy and professional, (the puertorrican), he went inside and talked to the Boss and he said that he cannot do anything about it, I told him, at least I need you to sand them, the welding was too big and ugly, he said that he wont do it with a bad attitude every, even when I went one time with my service uniform. Really unprofessional, and expensive, I don’t recommend nobody to visit that place, NOBODY!. (I HAVE PHOTOS).

"Worst rim shop on the southside" I brought in a 18 inch chrome rim to get repaired because of a bend in the rim causing a air leak. This rim has 7 removable gold spike accents. I removed two of them to repair and when I returned to pickup my rim 2 more were missing. I told them that I had taken 2 off myself and why were there 2 more missing. I was told that I was wrong and that this was the way I had brought my rim in to them by one guy the other guy says maybe they fell of at my home that I should check at home. All I wanted was my broken peices so that I could repair them myself but instead I was treated as a liar no apologie or discount. I spent $100 to get the bend fixed and now I have to spend on 2 more gold pieces at $25 each. They just lost a good customer I have 2 sets of rim and might eventually want to upgrade but it won't be from this shop. Because what is the point of aftermarket rims if there look is damaged. What a shame!

June and the boys are awesome. They went out of their way to make me happy. I shopped for wheels for my 2014 Camaro for months... I looked everywhere and nobody had what I wanted. From coast to coast I could not find the wheel that I wanted. June made a phone call and I had what I wanted in ONE DAY! The price that he gave me was better than any other place I shopped also (for a wheel that was close to what I wanted) These guys are a treasure to have right here in the neighbourhood. I will be back asap to get that stereo installed. These guys are great! They even had a friend of theirs haul my old wheels and tires home for me since they wouldn't fit in the Camaro. I bought a new car last month, and missed one of many Chicago potholes, and had a dent on inner side of my back rim. Looked up this place and it had high review rate in the area. They looked at my car and said it is a 15 min job. i agreed and let them do their job. while they were taking out my tire and trying to fix it, the guy drops my tire and it made a sratch on the outter side of my new rim. while i immediately went to the guy and told him to be careful, i got yelled and rudely was told to wait in the guest room. My car is a very precious thing to me, and i worked my butt to every single part of it. I told about the incident to their manager, he said that the scratch was already there and said that i am lying.wft. He didnt want to listen after i told him that i am going to complain about it, he told me that i can do whatever i want to do. I just walked off after that, didnt wanted to argue with incompetence especially with a manager of this level. now i riding my car with a scratched single rim. If there was a lower level of star i would put it, but for now i wouldnt recomend you to go to this place ever.

I will never come back to this place, I went there to have them to install the new tires on my suv, I brought the tires with me brand new, they mounted 2 tires the wrong way and I did not notice until I got home and my friend told me that the tires were mounted the wrong way 2 of them, I went back the next day and I told them the mistake that they made, the guy that is in the front talked with his boss and he came back and said that his boss was in bad mood so now what, ok he talked to him again and came back and he told me if I can wait 45 mins. I said ok, the gentlemen pull my suv inside and said that the problem was on the tires so at the end he charged me $10 dollars, "FOR THE MISTAKE" that he made, he said "I can not do anything about it so this is going to cost you $10 dollars for your mistake not mine, I was told that he was the owner, but I admit that the guy is in the front is nice and polite , I was there for the 4th time and the last time, I will never come back again.

I pulled up as soon as they opened, i asked if they fix slow leaks, someone told me to pull around, I pulled around into their garage. I sat watching them take care of vehicles that's been there over night (no customer on site but me), exactly twelve minutes went by, finally someone came to assist me and tells me that there are two vehicles in front of me and it will be an hour in an half for a slow leak and i needed to go all the way to front for service, when I specifically asked as I pulled up do they fix slow leaks, and they directed me to that entrance in the first place! Not to mention the guy went under the chains out the garage exit and didn't take the chain off to allow me to leave.......bottom line learn how to give instructions on your process- customers don't work there, so don't expect them to know your process! And rudeness gets reviews like this, and people do read reviews!

Extremely bad service horrible horrible horrible service. I went Friday to try to get my Windows tinted on my Volkswagen Jetta, waited about two hours before I can get anybody to help me. Once helped I was told that it was only by appointment, so I made my appointment for the following Monday at 1 PM, I go that Monday I show up the front desk lady was really nice she asked what I was there for I said I had an appointment to take my windows so she took my keys and told me to wait in the waiting room. So a guy comes up to me tells me that the job would take four to five hours and that they will have some difficulties with my back window because the old tint is very old and burnt, He pretty much explained that it would be easier to put the new tint than to remove the old tint so I said ok that's fine, So he recommended I go home And then come back to pick up the vehicle I said Ok. Then as I'm ordering a Lyft to go home, Another guy comes up to me telling me that he cannot do the job because it will take 5 to 6 hours and it's too much work especially considering I want it my windshield tinted as well, So he called the guy that took care of me that previous Friday and the guy explained that what I was being charged was only for my four windows and my back window and if I wanted my windshield tinted it would be $125 more so $500 I was going to be charged when to begin with that Friday I said I wanted Tints all around meaning my windshield included so I just told the guy to leave like that to just do my four windows and my back window and he said he still can't do the job because he has another guy after me and he's going to pay like $6000 and if that other guy does not get his windows tinted he does not want the job done And I said but I had my appointment for him and the employee just kept telling me that that other guy was going to pay him $6000 so I got upset and I asked them for my keys and told him that he can take those $6000 and stick them where they fit because my money is not worth any less than anybody else we're all going to pay money either way. Very rude & unprofessionally, I made my appointment for a reason then he comes up with that. This place deserves N O S T A R S. WILL NEVER RETURN. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

Beware! I went to Ace Tire & Wheel for balancing and mounting. I waited approximately an hour to get service. When they finished mounting my tires, I noticed that two of my wheels were damaged. It looked like someone dropped them. My wheels were scraped really bad, which couldn't be polished or anything. I spoke with the manager who also mounted my tires. He said, "They were already damaged. I didn't do anything. What do you want me to do? Do you want me to go on my knees and kiss your ass?" I approached him in a civilized manner. He was very disrespectful and did not want to admit fault. He used profanity and raised his tone because I told about the incident. You are better off going to another shop if you do not want your vehicle damage.

I always had great service and very satisfied!! Last time I went some one was trying to take my USB with music that it's very hard to get!! So I called they said it fell on the floor funny because it was hooked up on my radio no way it would fall out plus they where not working on my radio!! So i go back next day to get it they erased all my music i was so upset no one should be taking anything from it's clients cars!!
