I brought in a brake sensor for the mechanics to install for me. I was told by an auto parts store that the sensor was the problem and that I should be able to install it. I was unable to install it so I took the part into Tires First for their mechanics to install. In less than 20 minutes they had solved the problem which turned out to be an even simpler than the sensor. Instead of charging me for their time (which I would have understood) or replacing the sensor and charging me full price, they smiled and told me it would not cost a penny. They just made my day and I am still shocked that I had a problem fixed for free. Thank ya`ll so much! The cars behind me appreciate the brake lights too!

Women, especially elderly women should avoid this place. They made my 78 yo mother wait a ridiculous 3 and a half hours to repair her flat tire. First they told her she needed all new tires. (Coincidentally? 3 women and 2 men in the waiting room, all 3 women needed all new tires, the 2 men got repairs no questions). First they told her it was illegal for them to repair the tire knowing it wasn't a good tire. After she had the wherewithal to tell them she had no intentions of buying all new tires that day, they fixed the tire. She took her car to Toyota for service the next week and asked them to check the tires, they said the tires were fine.

I used to use Sam's Club for tires. However, I had too many problems with them. I switched to Tires First years ago and have never been happier. Recently, my car's check engine light came on. I quickly connected my ODB2 reader and it told me what was wrong. I took it to the dealership and they told me something else needed to be done. In fact, they told me a list of things that had to be fixed to solve the problem. Needless to say, I took my car to Tires First (that's right they do more than replace tires). They had my car up an running that day. Guess what? They actually fixed what my reader said was wrong. They also told me the other stuff the dealership mentioned was not needed. This saved me a lot of money. It's been over a week and my car is still running smoothly. Will go back to them from now on for all my car's needs.

The folks at Tires First are first class. I just picked up my car after an oil change and tire rotation. They also switched the tires from oxygen to nitrogen, which is something I knew nothing about but they were very good at explaining the advantages. I dropped my car off because I truly brought it in with only about 30 minutes to spare. Even though I came in on the cals tail, they called me right at closing and said that it was finished in that I could come pick it up in the morning. I told them that I would like to come pick it by after hours if they could leave the key in the car which they did. I appreciate locally owned businesses that go above and beyond to make sure that the job is done right and do the best they can to accommodate you. I would recommend tires first to anyone.

I called twice to ensure they had the tire I needed in stock and could be replaced same day. They assured me if I hurried right over that they could replace it straight away. So when I arrive, after the 30 minute drive, they change their story! They don't have the tire in stock, and told me no one else would either, so they recommend I order it from them and wait. Dishonest, and a complete waste of time.

Visited here because my tire was becoming flat. Instead of getting a new tire I just got the tire plugged . They charged me $30 + for that . Later I learned that was a pretty high price for getting a tire plugged and that other places do it for like $10-20 I’m convinced they overcharged me because I’m a young girl who doesn’t know anything about cars so I just went with it .Other than that the staff were friendly .

I had a tire that started to go flat a few weeks ago and had almost no time to fix it. Unfortunately I seem to get flats ALL the time and have been to Sears, Walmart, and a few local tire stores in the past to go in for emergency patches or to replace my busted tire. I've got to say I've been happiest with Tires 1st. They stay pretty busy, so I had a little bit of a wait, but in all honesty no more than any other place I've been (and in fact a little faster than quite a few of the other places I've visited). What I appreciate is the respect I got coming in, which you don't always get as a lady walking into a car shop. They got my vehicle in right away and replaced the flat as quick as they could and then I was back on the road to my super busy life. I'll definitely be using them again for my emergency fixes and regular maintenance. Thanks y'all, you were a BIG help!

Very disappointed in how they handle tire warranty claims. Purchased a pair of tires for my wife's car in Feb 2017 and only had 7,500 miles on them and one split and started leaking from the inner sidewall. There was absolutely ZERO damage to the tire, but they were claiming it had been hit. So now I get to purchase another tire, it just wont be from them. They wont get another penny of my money again.

I'm writing this review while sitting in the lobby... For the SECOND time in two days. Yesterday I spent 4 hours at Tire First while getting two new commerical grade front tires mounted and my alignment checked on my Ford F-350 Dually. I chose this shop over others solely for their reputation. Which they fell a far distance short of it. Now to their defense I drive a dually and the alignment can only be done on one of their lifts. But before that my truck sat for 2 hours without new tires. Which sent it to the "back of the line" for alignment check. When I inquired on the 3rd hour, it was next in line and "would be up in 5 minutes". 45 Minutes later I followed up again and was taken back to see what had happened. The tire tech conducting alignments reported that I needed my upper and lower ball joints to be replaced and that he had "been told the office". It was neither immediately reported to me nor were they even prepared to give me an estimate on the job. I quickly grew disgruntled and demanded my truck back. It came down immediately, I paid (discounted mount and balance fees for my inconvenience) and then I rode off disgruntled. The VERY next day I have a flat NEW tire. I immediately return back to shop and reported what had happened. After they dismounted the tire (this time very quick as they knew I was not happy) they reported back that THEY "had missed some rust and/or oxidation on the wheel where the tire would seal and it was not cleaned off before they mounted it". Acknowledging their mistake the gentleman apologized. I again reminded him that I had just spent 4hrs there the day prior and was not happy with my overall experience with them. He gave me explanations (claimed to be busy. Which was true because I was there at 0815 and witnessed the wait room fill and empty, as I sat and waited for 4 hours) and then shifted to acknowledging that it shouldn't have taken that long and that they "weren't perfect." He then asked what they could do to make things better and offered free alignment, oil change or gift card. I replied saying that it wasn't on me to figure that out and as management he should be able to make that call. So he returned with a $30 Gift Card for any future oil changes or alignments. Nice gesture. But the problem is that he knew (because he physically drove my truck around to the back) that I drove a Ford F-350 Diesel Dually. Which oil changes exceed $100 and alignments are $99 (Tires First prices listed right behind him). So I asked for my keys and left a disgruntled customer never to return regardless of the $30 gift certificate. PS: I was in the middle of moving into a new home with a tight timeline. In which Tires First delayed progress on. Not relative at the shop, as I expect every customer to get treated the same regardless of that customer's priorities elsewhere.

Do not take your car unless you want your car damaged. It took my Range Rover Sport here to get new tires. Came home to clean my rims because they had dirtied them up. I started to wipe the dirt off and i noticed that my two back rims are completely jacked up- paint chips, scratches and scuffs all over the rim, and dings where it looks like some type of tool hit the metal. So first, I take it down to PTAP to get it looked at because they are the only ones I trust to work on my car. They say it will be $450. So then I call the place and the owner says to bring it by. I bring it by and they said "we will take care of it" and offer to take it to some sketch a$$ shop called Auto Solutions that appears have no reviews online and no website. Im sure as heck not letting some random jokers touch my car especially after Tires First messed up my rims. So basically I can A) Trust some random jokers to work on my British Luxury SUV, B) I can dish out $450 of my own money to have them fixed at a reputable place, or C) drive around with effed up rims. Needless to say I am pissed because I haven't even own this car for a year and I know for a fact that I have never curbed a rim in this car. I also know for a fact that I couldn't have done this because a few days prior I gave it a wash and didn't notice a thing. The sad thing is, is that we have used Tires First many times in the past years and always had great service and no problems. Goes to show that there are careless people who have no respect for other peoples property. Sorry Tires First, but you have lost a valuable customer. Although its a terrible inconvenience and costs a lot more money, I plan to go to the Land Rover dealer in Atlanta every-time I need something done because they are one of the very few people I trust to work on my car.

This event occurred a few years back. I brought my car in here to have tires changed. They ended up stripping some screws or something like that.. Apologized. Did not have parts in to fix what they had messed up. The manager actually gave me use of his truck he felt so bad. I was driving around his truck till they could fix my Mercedes. I thought it was very, very nice of him to do this and could tell he felt bad. There were delays in getting the proper part. Etc, etc. The reason this place gets ONE STAR on my review is what the owner stated to me after this incident. They call me in. My car is fixed. The manager is apologizing again for the long delays and hold ups their mistake has cost me. The owner comes over and the manager tells him who I am. The owner, Mark, looks at me and says "Well, sometimes these things happen.....but you know that, don't you?".(No, Mark. I don't know that. In fact, this has never happened in the 20+ years I have been having my tires changed) And that was it from him. No offer of discount. No apology. Then proceeds to hand me the full bill. I paid it and left. (I personally think he was showing his manager how to "handle" me without having to offer an apology, etc- but that is just my take on the exchange). I have been meaning to disclose this in review. It was the worst treatment I have received at an auto repair place. I would never be back based on his rudeness, but the fact they would mess your car up and be so nonchalant about it is something other future customers need to go into the business knowing.

Total scam. I can't figure out why a tire store can't patch, plug, or boot a drive tire. My rear tire had a small nail in it. So it had a slow leak. I brought it in to get a boot, but they can't do that. They have to sell you a new tire. But why purchase a new tire to go beside one 40% worn. So they sell you a recap for $171. But by the time they get done, it ends up being $378. You pay them $90 to get rid of your old tire, but, they recap it and turn around and sell it for another $171. I will never refer another person there. They know when your from out of town and they milk you! Not to mention, the tire didn't last two weeks.

I did a little calling around before I found Tires First. I was trying to get a good quote on 4 brand new tires. I didn't have to call around long before I came across Tires First. When he gave me the out the door quote I was shocked with how low it was. I apologized for being so rude but I asked the gentleman on the phone why it was in fact so low. He gave a great answer, and I was on my way. When I arrived, I informed them I had a doctors appointment I had to be on time for. The staff was very sweet, I felt they were attentive, and they assured me they would have me out the door-which they in fact did. Absolute scam artists, charged my 70 year old mother $900 For brakes on a mid 90's Honda Accord. Then claimed their system diagnostic found the fuel pump was bad and it would cost an additional $500 to fix that. Luckily I told her to just pick it up and they claimed they had to push it in to the parking lot. Guess what, turned the ignition fired up without a hiccup. Still two months later starts up perfectly with a single turn of the key every single time. Do yourself a huge favor a steer far clear of this place.

First, I have had to return my 2001 blue Hynudai Sonata at least 3 times to Tires First for them to correct issues that I am stilling have with the starter that they replaced less than 1 year ago. Second, I needed them to replace the two front tires on my black 2002 Honda Civic about 5 weeks ago and this is what went wrong. After an associate called me and told me that my car was ready to be picked up, I received a second call about 30 minutes later telling me that my car wasn't ready because "one of your rims seems to be cracked". I wondered how could it be cracked since I turned the car without any flat tires or any issues with loss of air. Nevertheless, I ask the man to put my donut on the car until I could order a new rim and then I will get a new tire. Well, today I took my car to another shop to get the new rim and tire put on my car but they were unable to do so because Tires First never returned my rim key/lock. Now, I must purchase a new rim key/lock. The owner has always been nice to my wife and I but the staff and mechanics just continue to make things worse for my car and they will never take my money again!

I was born and raised here in Columbus and have been going to Tire's First for most of my life, well since I could drive. They have undoubtedly provided me with the best service every time I go. I now know most of the staff in the front office and they know me, which is one of the reasons I continue to go back here. Most importantly is the service though. They not only service all the main brand cars, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Jeep, GMC, Chevy, etc., but they also service my wife's Lexus which is huge for us because the closest dealership is in South Atlanta and they charge an arm and leg! I cannot say enough nice things about Tire's First and their staff!!

I bought two new front tires for my truck and did not have any problems prior to the new tires after the new tires were installed I got a vibration at 40 miles an hour that I did not have before and they could not get it out I think they should have replaced my tires because one or two of them were possibly defective I care that somewhere else and got a second opinion and they told me there was nothing wrong with the front end parts on my vehicle which tires first told me I needed $1,000 worth of repairs to get out the vibration that's highway robbery I will never go back

Bottom line: My car was overheating and Tires First gave me a $1,500 quote to fix a radiator that was (and still is) in perfect working order. I've been to Tires First a handful of times over the last few years and was always satisfied with this service. Recently, my car was overheating and leaking antifreeze. I suspected the water pump (antifreeze all over that area of the engine), which happened to be covered by my warranty. I explained this to the guys at tires first, but told them I'd like them to check it out. A day later I got a phone call with a quote for $1,500 for the radiator. They said the water pump was fine, but there was a pretty bad leak in the radiator and that was why it had been overheating. I took it for a 2nd opinion, confirmed it was the water pump (and the radiator was fine) and had it repaired. Car runs perfect now and wouldn't you know it, no $1,500 radiator job required.

Highly recommend coming here. We were fortunate to break down where we did. Brian the road service tech was out within a hour to fix our tire. He went above and beyond to do a check over of our RV and noticed the other tires were probably going to cause issues for us down the road. Jim at the store kindly recommended a nice RV park right up the road for us to stay at so we could come back today. We called and spoke with Tom this morning, who got us in and out. They were so accommodating and helpful. Very flexible and easy to work with. All staff we encountered were extremely knowledgeable and kind.

Took my auto there to have tires rotated and oil change. Bear in mind the rotation was free due to the tires being purchased there and came out with a $102 bill. While waiting extended period of time Jay Horne came out holding what I was told was my dirty air filter stating that it needed to be replaced and was told it would be $45 for the filter. Not sure why the air filter was even checked when having an oil change but never the less supposed it needed to be done. Upon checkout I noted I was charged $49.95 for the filter and advised Jay that was not what I was quoted thank goodness I always look over my bill. He refunded back $4 and I was on my way. Went by Auto Zone to check price on air filter and was told they cost $24.99....WOW big difference between that an $45 Tires First costs. Shame on you Tires First taking advantage of a woman because you thought she knew no better! Free tire rotation or not you just got your last penny from me and I will be sure to spread the word. Over priced and wait time is ridiculous!

Tires First is by far, one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. The people are courteous, helpful, and friendly, anyone that posts a bad review about them are the type of people that can't be pleased, no matter what you do for them. Excellent service and customer support !!! I arrived early (7:30 am). I was sitting in my car waiting for the Business to open (8:00am). One of employees observed that I was waiting in my car and he flagged me into the business. They took my information and started working on my vehicle. I was out of the business in about 30 minutes. A very disgusting establishment that doesn't value their customers. The employees are very surreptitious and dishonest, especially Mandy. I hope this establishment revamps their front counter staff and hire honest people who believe in doing their jobs the right way. Had a slow leaking tire. These guys ordered the tire and got it in quickly. Saturday's are a short day and when I arrived there was quite the line... however my car was taken back quickly and new tire placed on in less than an hour. The staff was friendly and polite and though busy they did not let you see them sweat. I will be going back to these guys for all my tire needs!
