I would like to take a quick minute and share my experience with North Georgia Tire. I was traveling from Omaha on my way to Tampa when I passed through Chattanooga. I had just pulled over to check my tires and noticed one of my tires was about to blow out on me. I mean you could see the metal in it. The time was 5:50... I called North Georgia Tire spoke to a man there and told him my situation and that I needed the tire fixed as soon as possible he told me that if I got there before 6 that he would get me in and take care of me. Sure enough I pulled up at 5:58 and the man kept his word got me in fix my tire and got me back on the road all within 45 minutes. All I can do is thank everyone at North Georgia Tire for giving me quick and Speedy service getting in and out in my dire situation. If you need anything from these guys they will get it done, I just happened to be lucky that day and got there before they closed.

If you have all day to wait around by all means go here. They have no sense of urgency at all. The front counter is a mess. Always one guy working, answering all the calls, trying to help multiple customers. They need another counter person there to get this place running smoothly. I waited for over an hour to get prices on tires only to be told he would have to call me the next day with pricing. Next day came and went, no call. Called the following day and he said he would get back to me. Never returned my call. Went down the road to Discount Tires and had a MUCH better experience!! Discount Tires customer service and sense of urgency blows NGT out of the water. I really wanted to support a small business but they need to get their act together. I have taken my truck there 3 different times and everytime it took at least half a day or longer.

I always have a good experience at NGT. Roger, David and Clay are always so friendly and take good care of my car. I always know it has had a good going over from the engine to wiper blades and Clay always makes sure all my lights are working and replaces the bulbs in ones that don't work. The mechanics in back never leave grease anywhere on my car which I appreciate. On some Saturdays there are even sausage biscuits and plain biscuits and always coffee for the customers. They know how to treat and appreciate their customers. Only place I trust my car to. Thank you NGT for such good treatment.

My husband, I and our cat lost a travel trailer wheel on I75 south of Ringgold, GA and was graciously referred by Dunlap Family RV to North Georgia Tire and Alignment where we had our camper trailer towed. After professionally assessment of the situation, they repaired much of the damage including locating another wheel and made it trailable to our home in Midland, MI. The staff was extremely cordial as well as skilled as we spent most of the day in the warmth of the business. The fee and time was reasonable considering they worked us in and the extensive repair required. They even allowed our cat to stay in the hospitality room.

This place seems to be a very honest establishment. Their prices seem to be average to slightly lower than other places in the area. However, I would pay more than other places, just to have an honest mechanic. Those are hard to find anymore.

We were coming back from Florida on the way home to Illinois and we had a flat on I 75. Went to Walmart first then to this place. Then I would think it would be about 45 minutes to replace one tire. Nope three hours to replace it. We had two girls that were falling apart there in the waiting area. I would not recommend going here. When I had my truck tires replaced at farm and fleet. It took them 2 hours for four tires. This place really pissed me off. Then we got home at 1130pm instead of 730pm like I was planning on.

First time dealing with this location. I will never visit them again, we waited three hours to have our truck worked on only to be told they had not even started on the job. We went down the road to another facility who got us in and out for less and actually started and finished the work. Horrible experience.

Roger, Clay, and the team worked quickly to diagnose the problem, present me with honest options, and get us back on the road. The first time I came here with no complaints, bought a used tire for 40 bucks. I have to come back 5 days later and not even 50 miles more on my car, My car it’s shaking vigorously. I’m not sure if they changed my tire or not. Doug was an absolute pleasure, but Roger made me feel like a complete idiot when I came back in. He told me the tire wasn’t perfect but it would get me through for a while. But here I am. This place is neat but I don’t think I’ll bring business back here. Also, don’t count on fast service. Waited an hour and a half for one tire to be looked at on a Wednesday.

I was quoted a price for a set of tires got there waited about 2 hrs. Roger can out and asked what he quoted me then told me that was not what he quoted me and up the price over $150.00 he pretty much called me a liar I told him to keep his tires if you call to get a quote better have them text it to you cause the price will change by the time you get there.. I wasted a lot of time and drove about 40 miles only to be lied to.. will Never deal with this company and will let as many people I know how they treat their customers.

Do not take your vehicle here for an anything, the guy screwed me over. After I took it there my truck started squeaking bad, they wanted me to pay again to fix what they broke. This place is a joke. The customer service was awful and the guy was very sarcastic

Took my wife’s van in for an alignment yesterday. I called around 1:30 pm to ask how much: $59.95 is what the “pricing guy” said. He said there’s about an hour and a half wait. We waited at the house until about 3:45 and headed over. We get there to drop van off around 4 and my wife headed in to drop off keys. She offered to pay in advance because we were planning to go run some errands and we weren’t sure if we would make it back by 6pm. He said that wasn’t possible as they would look at it and then call us wanting “to make sure that’s all it needed” we leave and go do our errands and somehow managed to complete them by around 5:15. My wife called to see if it was ready as he had said they would get it right in. He said we’re pulling it in now it’ll be ready by 6. Not wanting to drive home and then come back we drove on over. The van was still sitting right where we left it. We sat there until 6pm waiting and the van never moved. My wife went back in and asked to make sure they were planning to get to it the same day. He said yes that we could go on home and he’d call us and we could pay over phone. He finally calls around 745 and apologizes for delay that “everything just fell apart right before they got to our vehicle” this is the first time he’s given a reason for delay. He takes my card info over phone and tell me it’ll be sitting there waiting for us to pick it up. He never gave me a total amount I was being charged so I checked my credit card app and saw he charged me $69.95. I called right back and told him when I’d called he’d told me $59.95. He tried blaming on computer but then said “ I’ll just leave a ten spot with the paperwork” he did do that. Overall I appreciate them staying late and doing the alignment after hours but me and my wife both felt that he was very rude and borderline dishonest. I can’t in good conscience recommend someone do business with them.

Very nice and friendly staff. Small place. I try to support the family businesses before I go to Walmart or discount tire or any of the big guys that's why I came here. I got a flat tire on a road trip and put the donut on then drove here. They took care of me in about an hour and a half and for a fair price. Thanks again guys!!! By the way, there is another review on here about a guy complaining that it took them an hour and a half change a tire on a Wednesday. Well I am here on a Wednesday just now left to get one tire replaced and it took them an hour and a half. But I'm okay with that I don't know why that guy was complaining about it. they have other cars they're working on it's not that it took them an hour and a half to change your tire and took them an hour and a half to get to your car and fix it. I don't know why he's complaining that it took them an hour and a half I've gone to discount tire before and sat there for longer than that I've had them tell me I need to come back 5 hours later so why is he complaining. Don't ask me. I think these guys that just fine. And they gave me a military discount.

I was driving from Florida to Indiana with our two pets....lt was bumper to bumper traffic from the start of Atlanta all the way to Ringgold.....my brakes smelled like they were on fire. Upon arriving at my motel knowing my next trek would be crossing Monteagle...l needed help...l went on the internet and found this shop...the owner personally came and took my car to the shop...My thought was this is going to cost me a fortune.....,was l ever wrong....here is a shop that does only what one needs and that is it...the owner returned my car later and told me a thorough check was made of the brakes and he felt the long long stretch of stop and go traffic had made the brakes warm but they would be safe for the rest of the trip making sure that they had ample time to recuperate the next day l finished my trip....the total charge for his services? $25.....l promised l would.write a deserving review when l arrived home....That trip toik place a year ago...l could not remember this mans name or the name of his company.....well today i found my receipt......this review is a year late but no less deserving...thank you.

Clay and the guys were exceptional. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I was traveling with my son and caught a piece of metal in my tire. I pulled off the first exit and made it to a Chevrolet station. It was 5:25...closing time. The Chevrolet manager said he didn't have anyone who could fix it, but called North Georgia Tire. They said they'd wait for me to get there once I got the spare on. I got there at 6:00pm, closing time. Clay got the tire repaired and had me on my way in 10 minutes. All for $30! I hope the guys in the back enjoyed the tip I gave out of gratitude. If I get a flat in my hometown of Atlanta, I'm driving to North Georgia Tire for the repair. Thanks guys, you saved my bacon!

You can get quality tires at any number of places locally either from another small business or a national chain for similar price points or better. The owner has a tendency to talk down to you if you are not interested in premium or performance options.

I had dropped off a riding lawn mower tire and a garden cart tire for repairs on Friday and did not need them back right away. The manager called me on Saturday afternoon and told me that they were ready and even though the store was closed he would wait around for a few minutes if I needed to pick them up for the weekend. I thanked him and said I would not need them right away. I appreciate the fact that he was willing to go above and beyond what most places would just to help out a customer.

My mother is a senior citizen and took her car to get some brake work done at North Georgia Tire & Auto Alignment. She knows nothing about cars. Roger went above and beyond in gouging her for $500 for a set of front brake pads ($60) and one new caliper ($160). Add in up to two hours of labor and the total cost should have been no more than $300. The audacity of someone to do this to a human being that is obviously older and not knowledgeable is beyond me. Zero stars, and if I ever see this man going about his business in public I am going to open-hand slap him as hard as I can.

I do not think I would give them any stars if it was possible. I brought my truck to get it aligned with some new bushings. I am a mechanic and do my own work except for alignments, but the man talked to me like I did not know anything about cars. I brought the new bushings in with me and told the man I would like these put in when they do the alignment. Upon returning to pick up my truck I was charged $70 for the alignment. The man did not even put my new bushings in after I asked him to, due to the owner saying that the bushings that were in it already offered the same degree of correction as what I brought to him to be put in. I brought the truck to another alignment shop and the man said North Georgia Tire did not even have my old bushings out to be able to tell. My steering wheel is not centered either. They charged me $70 for them to drive my truck into their garage and turn it around and park it. They didn't even have it on the lift I would bet. I will not bring any of my vehicles back to them, and I will not recommend them to anyone else.

These guys are first class as a business. I recommend reading all the reviews and take a consensus of all the positive ones. They really did a good job. My truck arrived at 5pm from being towed from the nearby highway and within 1 1/2 hours they had me back on the road. Stayed 30 minutes after closing to help me. David, Roger and The mechanic who worked on my truck are all good to work with. Would recommend this shop to anyone.
