The guys there went through that truck inside and out, and showed me the good, the bad, and the ugly on the truck, discussing all potential issues along the way. Worst service ever!! Had new tires put on and immediately after the tire pressure sensors would not read correctly. Took it back they said they reset it but it still wouldn't read. They said just drive it it'll fix itself itself. It didn't. Took it back and they wanted to charge to take the tire apart???? Needless to say we'll NEVER use Lanier tire in Cumming by McDonald's again!!!

The people working here are ANGELS. My tire exploded in the McDonald's parking lot next door. I was on the STRESSING hardcore about what to do. I had a spare but couldn't change the tire. The men here came out to where I was standing and offered to help me change the tire in minutes. We ended up just putting a new tire on, which they offered at an amazing price. Couldn't be more thankful to the people running this shop. A++++++ Service

Took my F150 Truck to these guys. It had the wheel covers with the fake lug nuts. They broke off two of the wheel cover fake lugs and two of the 4 wheel covers by improperly removing them. They tried to cover it up with glue and I didn't know they had been broken until they fell off the next day. Lanier Tire denied the poor workmanship and refused to replace the covers. I nor any of my 4 kids buy or will ever buy tires from any Lanier Tire and Wheel shop again. You've lost thousands on my family alone, should have done the right thing.

The staff was friendly. The oil change was moderately priced. However, they charged me $38 in labor alone to change a headlamp bulb, which I know did not take them more than 10 minutes. If you do take your car here, definitely agree to the pricing before letting them do the work.

TERRIBLE SERVICE - HIGH PRICED - TRIED TO SELL US ITEMS WE DIDN'T NEED! My Wife called and inquired about an Oil Change. We normally spend under $30 for an oil change at another shop. We also knew we needed brakes. They did a "Free Brake Inspection". They call us and tell us that the car needs four tires, and front brakes. Not feeling real comfortable, I decide to go over to the shop. The prices they quoted me were high and I told them that I always buy my tires elsewhere. I ask them what I owe and it's $48.00 for the oil change. I pay it and leave. My Wife takes the car to our Tire shop and they say that we need 2 tires. They also tell me that there is an OIL LEAK. We look in our driveway and there's a pool of clean oil. I call them and we "have to bring it in". My Wife is already in the area of another shop and we don't know how bad the oil leak is so I have them look at it. The Oil Filter wasn't put on properly. The other shop tops off the Oil and properly installs the Oil Filter FOR FREE. I had them do the Brakes (for $40.00 less) and an alignment. I called Jarrett at Lanier Tire and asked him if they wanted to do anything about it. He said "No". There are other shops in the area, try them!

I just want to say, I'm very impressed with this place. My wife took her car there to have the brakes checked because they were making an awful sound. We figured the brakes would have to be replaced and were prepared to do so. The folks at Lanier tire didn't try to take advantage of my wife. They told her the brakes were fine it was just dirt which was making the noise. In a time when women are taken for a ride at many auto shops, it's refreshing to find a place that's honest and trustworthy. I recommend this place to anyone, especially women.

My husband and I have been purchasing our tires and service from Lanier Tire & Wheel for years now - has always been a positive experience. Unfortunately, today I came into the Lanier location on Atlanta Highway to request my tires be rotated. I know I need to have all four tires replaced but I won't be able to do so until next month and wanted the rotation performed in the meantime. The man who spoke with me and assessed my tires this morning was condescending, rude and unprofessional with me - a completely different experience than I have ever had at Lanier. I left the facility and went to another tire company to get a second opinion. The assessment was the same but these men were incredibly kind, warm, respectful and professional. My husband needs his tires replaced as well and considering the treatment I received today, he and I will be spending our hard-earned money next month (and next year, next decade, etc) at a competing tire shop.

These guys are always great to us. I've known the family for some time and recently had new tires put on my girlfriend's truck. We had a small issue with the size on the front. Today was a busy Friday.Stopped to get some idea of when they might mount 2 wheels and tires this weekend. "which I already had." for a work vehicle. Gonna guess Manager doesn't want to mount my tires if I don't buy from him. I knew they were closing and thought might check and see about coming in early a.m. Manager looks at the new tires and asks where did they come from? (like it's any of his business) He developed a childlike attitude and stated he would be calling them in a.m. Good for him, all the more reason to get the next ones there too. At least their your not talked to like a dog by somebody who's angry you even stopped by. Although he's open in a.m."Sat" he said come back Monday. That's fine won't be back and sure we want be missed.. Man down the street was glad to do the job and before 5:30 (TODAY ) Imagine that.... Problem solved. Lord took care of it anyway. B.T.W. We've recommended his shop 6x in last 6mos "because of its location and what I thought I knew about the managment" 4x single tire purchases "had to be towed in" and 2x commercial. Vehicles "children's academy and shuttle bus" needing full sets of expensive commercial. H.D. tires. So I began to wonder how these folks were treated. Golden rule is a good one- do unto others ....you know the rest. Won't be referring any more and I'm sure he doesn't care.

Quoted us $1500 for 3 tires and service & then once the services were done they said it is actually $2000....when my fiance asked why they said that the guy who quoted him must have forgotten something...$500 is kind of a lot to forget! Poor business

I have been buying tires from Lanier Tire and Wheel for over twenty years. The service you receive is great. It's the little things they do to make customers feel like the are getting a great deal. One car we replace two tires at a time instead of four due to the weight of the vehicle, during a oil change and free rotation visit, the manger told me within the next four or five weeks we would need two new tires. I said let's wait a few weeks. He said that should be fine, but the manufacturer has changed the style of that tire and we may not still have the style you habe on in stock. It's the little things, not to mention the price is always in the ball park with other (get you in get you out, don't care if you come back dealers).

The gentleman who took my call, Thomas, was friendly, understanding, knowledgeable, and honestly an expert professional conversationalist. Very refreshing. He gave me fair advice that actually would save me money, got me in quick, and finished the job faster than projected. I gotta tell ya, the country keeps getting more weird, but businesses like this are a much needed reminder that we’re all in this together.

I just wanted to say Lanier Tire is my goto tire store. I asked them about a very hard to find drag / street tire for a car show the next day and they got it in and installed the same day. These guys are great and go the extra mile!

Had new tires put on car after picked up the car the tire Monitor System came on so had another tire company see what was wrong They said that new tire was very over inflated and needs a new senior had new senior delivered to Lanier tire to be put on and they refused to put on car said it doesn’t need new one and now the light is back on again after picking up second time from here so disappointed with the service we received here

I had tires changed here several times. The last two times are the final times. Next to last time they confirmed the tires were in stock. After returning after eating everyone was sitting around. I mean everyone. My truck raised and tires off. I asked the front of it was break time for the whole shop”no sir we had to go get your tires, we didn’t have them here”. I’m a forgiving person so they got another chance. Last time they stated the trailer tire change would be done in an hour. After 4 hours the tell me over the phone my rim took damage after the blow out. They don’t have a grey rim just a white one. They then proceeded to ask if I wanted them to call around to find it. What was done in the 4 previous hours other than a tire removal I’m not sure. I took whatever they had which was a white rim because I had jobs to get to. Does it bear mentioning they charges me 5% more on the rim than the price they told me on the phone just minutes earlier? I was so furious at their lack of concern and complete lies on my past two visits I just paid and walked out. There are much better places to go.

I've used Lanier for years for both personal and commercial practices. I took my car in awhile back due to wonderful GA20 construction causing my front tires to start loosing air. They said they found a nail in one and fixed it. within 2 weeks my right driver side tire went from 50- 15 lbs of pressure.

Best price that I have paid for 4 tires. I usually pay about 600 only paid 365. The tires i got are not name brand, so we will se how long they last. Communication from the representatives is not great at all. They didn't tell me anything about the tires, and I had to ask what other services they provide.

I bought new tires from lanier tires on canton rd less than 16 months ago. I had a flat tire and had my car towed to Lanier tires on hwy 9 where I noticed the metal tread showing through on both of my new front tires. I was told that I declined alignment when I purchased my tires. WHO declines alignment????!!! I know that ruins your tires the second you start driving. I would NEVER decline alignment! What a scam!! Now 16 months later I have to buy new tires yet again ! These people WILL rip you off! Go somewhere- anywhere else, especially if your a woman

Lanier tire (cumming location) went well out of there way for me. Did a an amazing job on my new wheels/tires and made sure there was not a scratch to be seen. I also got an alignment and they went over my entire suspension and did not try to over sell me on anything. I will definitely be a repeat customer! This is the only good shop in Forsyth.

I initially called this shop for a wheel alignment, the guy on the phone asked me if I'd had a mechanic look at my car, I told him no and he told me to come in and they would check my car out for free. After riding in my car and listening to the noise it made, he told me that the issue could either be my wheel bearing or my transmission but he was pretty sure it was my transmission, so he had another guy inside of the shop take a look at my car. I was at the shop for maybe 30 minutes and the guy gives the keys back to the original person and he told me that it was my transmission and I should probably look for a new car which I agreed with because I have a 2006 Saturn Vue it's not worth repairing on such an old car. Two months later, I was having work done on my starter and as this mechanic is handing me my keys he lets me know that I need to get my wheel bearing fixed. When I asked him if a wheel bearing could cause a grinding noise, he said yes if your wheel is grinding on your brake and rotor and if that's the case then I need to get my wheel bearing fixed ASAP. So I take my car to a different shop, they give me a quote of $250. The guy takes my wheel off to make sure everything is okay and he comes back and lets me know that my wheel bearing has been messed up for so long that my wheel has been putting pressure on my brake and rotor so now instead of me just getting a bearing I had to get the bearing, brakes, and a new rotor which comes out to $800. He also said that if I would have bought a car in a month earlier that it could've been saved. So I don't know if this shop, Lanier tire and wheel, didn't want to service me because I'm black or because I'm a woman or because they felt like I couldn't afford the repair, but I know that if they would have taken the time to actually look at my wheel and check my bearing, a lot of time and money could have been saved. Not to mention, I almost died because my wheel was barely hanging on by the time I got to Suwanee Service Station. I am very disappointed and angry at the negligence I experience at this shop and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Went into this place with optimism to get new tires for my truck, $1400. Tires get installed and I leave (I had brand new brakes/rotors installed the week prior) and LOTS vibration, WORSE than my worn out tires. I had to take time off of work because these guys were incapable of getting it right the first time. I go back the next day, to correct the issue, they were shocked this happened and "were going to do me a favor and rebalance the tires by their best guy ". Re-balance occurs and now my tires are LOW since they claimed to have put too much air. I check the PSI of the tires and it is 38PSI - tires clearly state 65PSI.. Complete WASTE OF TIME, especially money. Take your money elsewhere, unless you have time to sit and wait while they correct the issues. I now have to go find a shop to use a high speed balance to balance my tires properly.. Never going back here.

I was disappointed with my overall experience at this store. Due to a nail one of my tires from what they said was not fixable or useable. Of course I trusted them and they said we have the exact same tire in stock, if you like we can change it for you now for a total of 129.99 after tax and fees. I agreed and I had told them 2-3 times all my tires are nitrogen filled and I asked if there was a charge for it they said no. After everything was done, I came up to the register to pay and my total was 151.04. I don't understand why it went up that much even though I was told by the salesman that after balance and tax it will come to 129.99. I just ignored it and went on. Just before I left, I asked to make sure my tire was filed with nitrogen and he said no just regular air, it's basically the same thing. I got very frustrated but I didn't say a word and left. I wouldn't reccomend this place. Very disappointed even though all these feedbacks seemed positive.
