From the time I walked in to Boyd Tires it was heaven sent. Excellent service, loyal to the customer, and honest about pricing. I was greeted by George Boyd III who was very humble and took my information. He stated Ronnie would give me a call about the problem with my car. I told Mr. George I would need a ride back to my office at Delta Techops. He said no problem Wayne would be around in a second. As I entered the truck Wayne said Good morning! Who was here first and I said I was. Then he said where you headed? He had me laughing all the way to the office. He was full of joy! Within 45 minutes I received a call from Ronnie stating the problem with my car and the cost. It was my wheel barren and hub. I told him let me call to get another quote from the mechanic that fixed my right wheel barren. He said that's fine. The other mechanic quoted a lower price but didn't know when he could fix my car due to high volume of car repairs. I called Ronnie back with the cost and he said he would get my repair cost closer to what the other mechanic quoted. The car would be ready by 3:00pm. I called back at 1:00pm to check the status and the car was ready. Mr. Charlie came to pick me up and told me how long he has worked at the company. He had retired and came back. He was telling me how the company was family owned and they are good people to do business with. He was genuine and to the point. I arrived to pick up my car and pay for the services rendered. I reached the cashier Mincey and what a breath of fresh air! So kind and friendly! I will definitely be back. Ronnie see you soon. I love this place.❤

These people care. I went in with a screw in my tire while on an out-of-town business trip. When I arrived, the folks behind the desk were helping someone lost in the area. This person wasn't a customer, but the good people at Boyd's helped the man find his way. For my tire, the screw did not puncture the tire, and they didn't charge me a dime. These are kind folks to help someone out of town.

I got a flat tire on the way to work at Delta. I called Boyd because they were closest. They did not have my tire in stock but they could get it by the next day. An hour later they called me back and had the tire. They had managed to get it shipped over on the last truck. Brought my car in and they had the tire installed a half hour later. I was very impressed with how quick they were! I will be going back for my other 3 tires.

My first and last visit to this place. I took my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee in today for an oil change. The price given to me when I walked out was $88 including taxes. I had ask the lady at the counter to have them check my cabin air filter as it was whistling. I received a call saying they checked it, still new but it had been installed upside down so they corrected it... I arrive to pay and pickup my vehicle to where they have now charged me $41.50 to correct my air filter issue. Correct, not replace. They also forgot to reset the oil life, and they wanted $5 more dollars to put 2psi of air in my tire. I'll change my own damn oil next time.

I generally take my car here for simple repairs and have had tires mounted and balanced hear before. They always do good work and have a free shuttle. The service writer at the counter is always personable and knowledgable. They may cost a little more but they're well worth the little bit extra. I took off a star because they accidentally double charged me recently.

i found this company on google and the positive reviews are what ultimately led me here. i had a hole in my tire and the man helping me(i don't remember his name) was extremely helpful, offering what would best fit my budget and also what would be the best options. i ended up buying a brand new tire just to help avoid any future problems, hopefully. if i ever need anymore maintenance done I'll definitely be returning here!

i brought my wifes car in to just get a tire patch. I left and they called and said that the tire did not need a patch and they had ran a water test over it and that it did not need to be repaired. They put air in her tires and did not charge us. I liked their customer service so i brought my car in for an oil change, they walked me through what my car would need for the mileage and learned quite a few things to my benefit, they were honest at all times and even made sure i was aware of all the available coupons they had...Thx Boyd and Sons for the Great customer service!!

How refreshing to find a family owned and operated business! Boyd Tire has done every bit of my car repairs the past seven years (except for one recall item that required a trip to the Subaru dealer) …tires, oil changes, light bulb replacements, brakes…you name it. These are really nice people. They do good work and are fair to their customers. (And I really get a kick out of the old-timey TV set in the waiting room!)

I called to ask about a tire. They were polite on the phone but when I got there I was never acknowledged. I stood there for ten minutes and even watched another older white customer come in and was greeted with a good morning and they had a whole conversation. The guy goes to the counter looked me dead in the eyes and got on the phone. So I won’t be back I’ll take my service elsewhere where it is welcomed.

You have to be desperate to go here... they tried to charge me extra to do a front end alignment just because I had my front suspension done somewhere else... stating "it usually takes longer" a front end alignment is a front end alignment no matter if the suspension is new or just out of whack... you still have to do the same work to get it right... and then on top of that.... they wanted an ARM AND A LEG

Before taking my car to Boyd Tire my breaks started squeaking. I had had no other issues with the car in the 4 years I drove it. At this point I've had to get 3 break jobs in 10 months. The first 2 were with Boyd Tire and the most recent one was with the dealership. I spoke with George, the owner of Boyd Tire, to let him know according to the dealership inferior work was performed by Boyd. The result was that I had to pay for 2 break jobs that I shouldn't have. George took no responsibility for the his company or staff, made no attempt to correct the issue and had no interest in speaking with the dealership currently working on the breaks. I'm extremely unhappy with my experience with the owner of this company. He didn't care or seem to be shocked in the slightest that inferior work was done. After my experiences with this company I've started to wonder if the positive reviews they've received are real.

I had to replace the brakes on my car, they were worn down and squeaking a lot. I decided to try Boyd Tire because of the good reviews. I had been there before but for minor things (ex: patch a flat tire). They replaced the brakes and rotors at a cost of $500 +/-. I noticed immediately that the brakes were still squeaking but did not take it back because I just did not want to deal with the situation. Months go by and I just got fed up of listening to my squeaking $500 brake job and went back to the store. They looked at them and said they were fine and now my brakes make more noise after they looked at it. So now I am stuck listening to the constant squeak every time I pull up to a stop sign. I figured that a company that's been around a long time would know what they’re doing but I found out the hard way that is not the case. It was a very expensive lesson to learn.

Just moved to the area and was looking for an honest and fair shop to replace my tire. I was impressed with the level of customer service and care that I received.... the owner himself came out and spoke with me about the repairs needed on my tire and provided a thorough explanation. In an industry where many mechanics just don’t care and are dishonest, I truly appreciated this level of service. This is a family business that clearly cares about its name and reputation and I am looking forward to doing business with them in the future.

Jennifer and the rest of the staff were great. Awesome customer service and down to earth people. Work done was great as well. The only thing keeping me from giving them 5 star was the amount of time it took. I got 4 brand new tires and an alignment and they put it up on the rack almost right after I got there and started working on it. But they were just kind of walking around taking their time it's seemed. Took almost 3 hours.

I have to say this tire shop is all class and customer service is quality.. Went her to get my mom a new tire. Got there at 8:am. Get this,they didn't have a tire at the shop so they went and found one for me.. They didn't charge me an arm and a leg for the new tire either! Usually get my tires from Firestone on Howell Mill in West Midtown Atlanta.. I found a better place! I was out of there at 9:20a.m. If you are in Atlanta and need good tire service,I suggest this business,the Boyd family!

Hudson was very helpful with explaining "tire damage". To repair or to replace a tire? Hudson explained how a previously plugged tire is damaged when the plug dislodges. He explained how if the inner part can be patched, it will be repaired. If tire can't be fixed, it will be replaced. Hudson then brought two tires out for me to observe and chose which I wanted if replacement is needed. The tire needed to be replaced. Hudson saved the old tire so I could see the inside damage of the flat tire. Boyd Tire Company just earned a new customer based on Hudson's honesty and integrity above all respect to woman car owner.

Everyone in Jefferson Park recommends this garage, and for good reason. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My car's repair was pretty fast considering how much business they have. Hard to find old-fashioned independent places like this, but Boyd Tire is a quintessential family-run business. They're my go-to guys for tires for my car collection. Boyd Tire is a delightful combination of new and old. Check out the functioning 1960s-era color TV in the upstairs customer lounge. They must treat employees well because many of the same one have been there for years.
