So I always go here to get my tires because it is very close to my office. I have a Toyota Corolla and this last time I went and they damaged the hub caps so severely that they keep falling off. They replaced the first for free but wanted $40 for the second one. The man then mansplained to me that it was the plastic on the metal; if that was the case, these would have fallen a while ago. (I’ve had the car for 5yrs). I will never be back. Period. Do not go here! Tires were also overpriced any way. And this response below is an excellent example of the level of service you can expect.

This team is amazing! I’ve gone there now twice for oil changes and both times, their team has gone above and beyond. The first was to let me know that my battery was bad and to contact my dealership as my car was under warranty rather than pressuring me to purchase a new battery from them. The second was to take an extra 5-10 minutes and zip tie my wheel well that was loose after the dealership told me it was impossible. It’s wonderful to find a great place for car maintenance and know that they have an honest team.

Over priced and not worth the hassle. Vehicle was not ready when promised, staff failed to tell me that it wouldn't be ready until the next day. I had to call them at 3pm to find out that they wanted to keep my truck until the next morning to do something that takes less than 1 hour.

Normally I love this place but today Im left confused. I brought in car for oil change, tire rotation, balance and ignition switch changed because when you turn key car doesn't always start. Left car there an hour later get a call they can't do switch need to take to dealer. No problem, gave go ahead on oil change, tire etc. I get back to shop 4hrs later to find my car with hood up and windows down. Then learn my car had not been touched because they couldn't figure out how to start. You mean the same ignition switch issue I described and explained how I had to start car daily? And why would you NOT CALL me as you did to tell me you couldn't do switch. Instead I left car for 4hrs wasted my time and the simplest of tasks weren't done and totally did not care or recognize how ridiculous it is that an an entire shop couldnt figure out how to turn the key. Completely disappointed and irritated at the lack of respect for my time.

If you're a female, forget it.. they will walk all over you.. over chargeing too..sometimes I wonder if trey purposely break things so I have to get it replaced.. if you go in for an oil change, they tell you that you need something else.. they use scare tactics as well..

I went in to get two new tires and adjust the alignment. They told me my tire rods were frozen and I had to get them replaced in order to do the alignment. The total cost would have been $450 for the new tire rods and alignment. Fortunately, it was at the end of the day and they didn't have time. I took my car to Kauffman Tire and they said my tire rods were not frozen. So all Kauffman did was adjust the alignment which saved me close to $400.

Unfriendly people. They do not have a good stock of tires. They can't ensure that hours posted on Google are correct. Complained that he did not have time to help me because he was bombarded by customers when they just opened. My guess is he was bombarded because the hours on Google say they open at 7:00am not 7:30am and there were a group of people gathering for 30 minutes before they were open because they can't get the hours right.

They have serviced my cars since I moved back to Atl. This past Saturday I took my moms car in for a simple oil change. It turned into all the filters, brake line service, and front brakes. This car only has 38k miles and is a 2015. The filters have been changed prior, but I questioned the brakes. I had a prior issue with an employee and this time spoke to the owner, who was absolutely horrible. I have filed a formal complaint with good year and will never recommend this location. Poor service. Rude staff and owner.

I've been going to the Goodyear on Cumberland Parkway for several years. They always give me an estimate before the job is done and the price doesn't change when the job is done. The staff is friendly and courteous to me every time and I know I can expect a quality repair every time I go.

The air conditioning went out in my SUV. The exact issue was the AC would power on but not blow cool air. When I tried to explain to the gentleman at the front desk he would cut me off because he didn’t agree with my explanation. Without much of a choice I allowed them to work on my vehicle. When they told me the vehicle was ready, the explanation was that the vehicle only needed Freon. I was confused but the manager explained that good be the vehicle 48 hrs and if the AC would not function, return the vehicle and they would troubleshoot at no charge. This was almost a $300 dollar service to run an AC diagnostic and pour Freon. 48 hrs later my car went hot and broke down on the side of the rd. It was towed to Express Oil Change and they discovered that this Good Year location not only neglected the issue but also pulled my vehicle apart and incorrectly part things back together. My car went hot because the Good Year mechanics had no idea what they were doing and lacked the integrity to inform me. Of course when I tactfully explained this to them they denied wrong doing and didn’t offer to compensate for my inconvenience. But they thought my service dog was cool....smh

Nice, friendly people. In the pass 4 weeks, had front and rear brakes done, alignment, oil changed, and starter installed. They always tried to do same day work. Had to leave vehicle overnight once. Guess their price is complimentary to other repair shops.

Had a big issue while traveling home from Florida to Michigan. We pulled off 285 in Atlanta and luckily Bob McDonald Goodyear was there. They bent over backwards to get us back on the road! Their service is outstanding! I highly recommend Bob McDonald Goodyear in Atlanta! Doug in the office and Mitch and Jarrett the mechanics are wonderful people!

Been a customer for the last 5 years! I have several vehicles that has been serviced. But recently I brought my volvo with 140k miles and the front tire wobbled when I went past 60mph. Mitch told me he could take care of it, I did not have much faith with that much mileage. When the Team finished the job, all I could say is . .. WOW!! the car runs better than when I bought it!!! Wheels aligned, new rims on rear, and struts replaced with precision. These Guys are really good at what they do. I love working with Doug and I travel all the way from Fairburn (25mi) just to have them exclusevly work on all of my cars. I TRUST THEM.

Also side note... it’s rather comical For you all to say I threatened you im a 5’4” female who just wanted her breaks done properly... you all clearly have no respect for women and just wanted to steal my money and you successfully stole my money as it is 2019 and still don’t have a refund. It’s so sad that you all wanted to Gang up as a group of Men behind the counter to yell at me. I don’t know how to fix breaks that’s why I came to you all clearly you don’t know how to fix breaks you just prey on women and steal their money. . I have filed a complaint with the company through the better business bureau just so all are aware. I have personally taken my car in on five separate occasions to fix my brakes on a Nissan. They have YET to resolve the issue. I would advise that no one takes their car in for anything here as the staff is largely incompetent and the owner is rude. On the last time I was basically told that I needed to be satisfied with the job right then and there because they will not be servicing it again. This has been an ongoing issue since late September and my brakes sound the exact same as they did before I took them in. Also when I called to inform the manager/owner (whoever he is, incompetent nonetheless) that I was still having the same issues and that I would rather the money to be refunded so I can go elsewhere as five times is the limit for me being patient on having my brakes fixed he said he'd offer me $80 on a over $500 job. I replied that this was foolish on his part to offer as I have had to take off of work five separate occasions and four of them should have been unneeded if they would have fixed the issue in the first place and that I would be happy to go down there and discuss in person. He stated that if I go down there he would call the police because I would be "causing a scene" First of all, how cowardly and cheap are you to threaten a paying customer rather than acknowledge how poor of a job this store does. I have taken my car to get looked at in an entirely different area as well as company and the stated I would have to have all around brakes replaced. They have yet to resolve the issue. Although the post is long, I would hope this either deters customers from no longer coming to this place or that the incompetent coward that is somehow the owner will do what is right and refund in full the cost of my brakes so I can go elsewhere.

In dropping off and picking up my car, I was called “sweetie,” “dear,” and “young lady.” It’s 2018, and none of those are endearing. It was patronizing and sexist. Their prices are also ridiculous. $48 to balance and rotate four tires. $25 to diagnose a tire sound - the tire was already off? Oh, and there was “no problem,” which is crazy, since I’m well aware of the loud sound emitting over 40 mph. Nah. I’ll go elsewhere next time. (In response to their response: I'm also Southern. That does not equate to sexist or patronizing.)

I bought tires for my truck and go in every 6k miles for a rotation. When they come to the waiting area they always tell the customer something is wrong with their vehicle. Always. Without fail. They told one guy he needed an alignment. He passed on getting it. Then they told me I needed shocks (one time) then the next time I needed something else. Mind you, I still hadn't gotten my regular mechanic to install new shocks, because guess what? I didn't need them! On top of that BM Goodyear asked me if I wanted to call my husband or significant other about 'the problem with my truck'. I told them 'hell no! I maintain my vehicle! And, you didn't ask the guy before me if he wanted to call his wife!" I hate going there! If it weren't for Kurt, I wouldn't return to this store.

There's a lot of these five star reviews that are from current or former employees or their family members possibly. There's plenty of people on here saying that they're nothing but a bunch of scam artists. I experienced the scam when I went there today. Went in for a simple oil change and upon receiving my vehicle back all of a sudden my key wouldn't go in the keyhole. I questioned what they had done to cause the keyhole to lock and the attendant tries to claim that the lock cylinder's worn out. In the years that I've had this vehicle this has never happened before. Automatically when I addressed it to them he tries to start telling me a new lock cylinder and offer to install it that day. A bunch of scam artist, just like others have said.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE DISHONEST. They charged me over $600 to replace CV axels and didn't actually replace them. I came back 10 months later because the I was having the same problems as before. They didn't honor my year warranty, claiming that the CV axels weren't the problem. I then went to three other reputable repair shops look at the car, and all confirmed that the CV axels had never been replaced. They had replaced another part but still charged me for replacing 2 CV axels. I wish I could give them zero stars. After looking at other reviews, which were majorly negative, it seems this type of thing happens often at this location. It's unfortunate that the owner of this company allows such poor treatment of customers. Again, do not use these crooks! I can highly recommend ANYWHERE ELSE.

I called at 11:00 am to get a flat tire repaired on my Porsche 911 and asked if they could do it at lunch. The Goodyear associate said yes, I was there in 10 minutes, when I got there the associate said it would be a couple of hours. Well that sucks...and the parking lot was covered with debris, Not where I want to get my german sports car repaired Just saying...

This location is one of the worst customer service locations in the city. The manager is very rude and always feels that he is doing you a favor. Management is all about leading by example. I will stop servicing my cars at this location. I would rather drive into the city before I take my cars (3) there again. Technically I’m not sure he is the manager but he always answers the phone and works the front counter. So my apologies if this person is not the manager. However if not he should not be this locations greeter.

14 Feb 2017 Neighborhood Friend. Another visit and great turnaround service. Walk in and to get service on any service visit within an hour is huge in Atlanta. Time is everything. John, Mitch and Doug again took care of me. I received an oil change on my new corvette with a sense of urgency and a outstanding price. Did I tell you before Leon is my favorite mechanic. I live 3 miles from this location and they have served me with outstanding advice and service. Dec 2016 The service was fantastic. I had a bit in my right tire The same one I had replace two months ago. Kurt prioritized my work. Leon who I meant before and Zach who actually did ta explore. Fast and efficient and under 30.00 Will be going back... Thank you!!!

Rather than write a phony review and advertising another company which YELP should be ashamed about placing on their website. You will notice that all of the GOOD reviews are gone from YELP. I get my Jeep serviced there and NEVER had a problem with them. Rather than reading phony review that YELP wants you to see and not the other that REAL people have written I suggest you checkout other sites or call them for yourselves. These are a great group of guys and do a great job in looking after their customers. If this review goes missing just be sure it will go up on other sites as well as my blog to prove to people that this is a REAL review written by a REAL person about a REAL personal experience. Great service. I have been using this shop for the past 4 years despite the fact that I no longer live in the area and moved across town. Still go there because of the great customer service. I had a problem with my old tires on my RAV4. John McDonald helped me with the problem and got me 4 new tires at a great price. I highly recommend them for tires and service. It is worth the drive.

Terrible. I chose this place because of convenience; don't make the same mistake. I went in to check two things - I had some abnormal engine vibrations and a check engine light. They charged me $100 for the check engine light scan, which turned out to be just a loose gas cap. I tried to negotiate down but they wouldn't allow it. this could have been checked at an auto-parts store for free with their simpler tools. I suggested the engine vibration was due to damaged engine/transmission mounts but they said everything was fine. Then I took it to the dealership for a second opinion and found out two of my mounts were broken.

I went there recently and the service level was high quality. Customer Service was great. Free Wi-Fi and nice lobby to wait, or you can wait across the street and eat drink at Chik-Fil-A or Starbucks, or get some chores done. A big bonus is the location. You can walk to a pharmacy, grocery store, restaurants, Home Depot. cleaners, you can get a lot done when you multitask when you go to this GoodYear.
