You know that we do not usually bother to give tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Tires is included in the category of Tire shop.
They offer free drink and wifi. A play area for young children. Coupons are usually available online.
Tires are fine, inspection was lacking. Did not seem fully knowledgeable.
I don't recommend this place for Wheel Alignment. The alignment was done using the wrong specification. I asked for my money back because I was there for the third time in a week due to the wrong alignment. BAD Customer Service!!!!!!!!!!
I went in for a headlight. They didn't give me a quote- it was about $30 at the last shop so I figured it would be around there. It took them 20 minutes before they moved the car into the shop, 4 minutes to switch out the bulb and another 10 for them to start the check out process. When they gave my the bill it said $27.98 and then the guy charged me $54.46 saying the $27 didn't include labor. The total labor was 4 minutes (I timed it). I will NEVER return there nor will I recommend this shop to anyone. It's a shame because they are right near my employer, so I could leave the car there when I'm at work.
Bought tires here last year. After a couple months my car didn’t pass inspection because bubbles in tire. I called cj’s and was told by manager “I told you you should’ve gotten the warranty “. Which sounds more like ‘I told you our tires are low quality’ to me. The brand I bought had been discontinued everywhere else around town. ??? On top of this they are slow. You have to leave car there most of day regardless of what you’re getting done.
Great customer service..
They broke my hood and denied it.
Recently had my car inspection completed. Have used them for years and recommend them to others. Very good service at a fair price. Had some questions about the results of my inspection and the service manager Kevin answered them promptly.
The pricing was very good - they offer a 5% discount for AAA and had a coupon on their website for an oil change. I got 2 rear tires and rear brakes and they are great. HOWEVER, my biggest complaint is about the oil change. As they pulled my car out of the bay, massive amounts of smoke were coming out of my muffler. As I was paying for my car I mentioned to the manager what I saw and he looked down at my paperwork and said “Oh, you have a Hyundai, that’s why” and then proceeded to tell me that his Hyundai does that every morning and I have an oil consumption issue that should be looked at by the dealer since it’s still under warranty. I went to my car and as I turned out of the location and onto the main street I had MASSIVE amount of smoke coming out of my car to the point where it was clouding the entire street for all of the other cars. I immediately turned around and went back to the shop. The manager said that nothing was wrong and I should call the dealer – they had checked everything and nothing was wrong and as it was continuing to run it stopped smoking. I left the location and on my drive to work it did dissipate after a time and it has now been a week and it has no longer done it any day when I turn on my car. I find the timing of it all very precarious. My car had NEVER done this before and then it did it the day after I took my car in for an oil change. The manager claimed the oil level was fine and nothing was wrong and insisted I call the dealer for an oil consumption issue. I think something was done incorrectly on their end during the oil change and they chose to lie to me instead of telling me they had made a mistake and fixed it.
Fixed my slow leak without an appointment, was back on the road within an hour.
I used to love CJ's. Recent experience has changed my view, however. My 70 yr old mother in law took her 8 year old sedan to CJ's in Eagleview for a state inspection. They came back and said it needed new calipers, pads, rotors and hoses on the front, and that the rear components pass but will need the same soon. Quoted almost $1000 for the parts/labor. Changing brake components is fairly easy, and parts are inexpensive. So I purchased new rotors, calipers, pads and hoses and did the job myself for about $200. I also bled the whole brake system with new fluid, inspected the rear brakes (looked fine, normal wear, not even close to needing pads). Road tested extensively, brakes are top notch. Mother in law then returned the car to CJ's for re-inspection. Now they come back and state it needs new rear brake pads and now both rear shocks! And suddenly the battery is dead, needs to be replaced. These guys are trying to take advantage of a senior citizen. Times are tough, everyone needs to make a buck. But not through dishonesty. CJ's has now become like the other state inspection scam artists. We'll be taking the car elsewhere for inspection.
Second time I have paid for a service that wasn’t properly done. At least this time it was just my fluids being checked, but if I ask for fluids to be topped off, my car shouldn’t be completely out of antifreeze. Would not recommend. Find a good local mechanic and give your money to someone willing to do the work correctly the first time around.
In and out in less than an hour...
There quick.
Very friendly and efficient!
Straight as an arrow alignment
Good place to take your car without worrying about getting ripped off.
Bought a brand new pair of tires and 10 months/12k miles later, after proper rotations, 2 of the 4 tires were bare. After a lengthy coversion about trying to get some kind of credit for an obvious defect I was told the tires were "useless and worth nothing" by the man at the desk. He claimed the tires were to run down to even get a pro rate on them. I'll be sure to never buy from here again.
Amazing service! Was down in PA and ended up with a flat tire on the side of the highway. C&J we're the only ones willing to put on a new tire even though they where about to close!!!! Best service ever!!! Amazing staff
A good alternative to the rip-off artist currently using.
Cock roaches and rip offs
The guys and gals at CJ's hooked me up today, flat tire, flat donut, they patched my tire in ten minutes and I was ready to go! Thanks CJ's!
Great Service but could use an adjustment in prices
They really helped me out when I got a flat nearby. They stayed after closing to get me back on the road. Above and beyond. I can't say enough nice things about them.
STAY CLEAR -DO NOT USE! My daughter took her car in for inspection and smog... They told her she needed muffle work to pass... quoted her $600.00. I told her that seemed a bit pricey... let's check with another inspection site... We took it to another certified inspection and repair facility and they performed repairs for $329.00. My daughter took the car back to CJ's for stickers and they then required an additional $99.00 for her to pass the safety inspection because one of her foglamps was out. Not to replace it but to just remove them... This was our second poor experience with them, My wife's experience was similar... Upselling, requiring repairs not necessary, strong arm tactics regarding how they treat women... This is so stereotypical it should be funny, but it's not... I would suggest anyone that needs tires, service or an inspection go elsewhere. STAY CLEAR -DO NOT USE!
Manager Kevin very concerned with customer satisfaction.
Dropped off my car with a fully flat tire right before closing on Monday. Tire was fixed and ready by 9am Tuesday (simple repair, just a puncture). Super friendly, very professional. I will take my car back to this location in the future for service.
VERY DISHONEST.......DON'T USE THEM I took my car for an inspection and was told by Kevin Jeffers(manager), (JOHN WAS THE TECH) that my exhaust manifold was cracked, he 1st asked if I heard a clicking noise I said no then he said well my exhaust manifold was cracked and it would be 600.00 to replace. So I took it to another inspection place and was told the manifold is not cracked. He inspected the car and it passed. So I went back to Kevin at CJ tires and told him it was not cracked and he would not give me the sticker. He said it was making a noise and he could smell the fumes, I was standing next to him and did not hear anything or smell anything. The long and short is they are very dishonest and I will be contacting the State about them. If they did it to me they must have done it to a lot of other people.
Dalton and his crew are amazing. Thanks to them for helping this guy from Maine on his way to Virginia get where he was going. I squeaked my way in 90 minutes before they closed and Dalton had me in and out with time to spare. I'd highly recommend CJ's Tire and Automotive to anyone passing through. Fair, friendly, and efficient.
These guys are always super nice & efficient!
We take all of our cars to CJ's now for anything tire related, plus we often get inspections and other smaller work done. They are super friendly, professional, and thorough. We rarely have an issue getting our car taken care of in a short amount of time. Our most recent experience only reinforced our high opinion of CJ's. We took our car back to the place where we bought it for an inspection, and they told us the car needed an alignment, tire rotation, and that the tires were showing uneven wear. I told them thanks but no thanks... took the car to CJ's, and they re-checked the alignment and tires (no issues found), and they rotated the tires for us. NO CHARGE. They have really earned our trust!
Always professional with fair prices... discounts for veterans too
Quick professional service every time I take my vehicles to them for any type of work.
Chris and Billy were so incredibly helpful in repairing my tire. Other tire locations wouldn’t even check to see if it could be repaired and advised I buy a new $500+ tire. They were so helpful and kind and I greatly appreciate them going out of their way to fix my problem.
Great service! Everything that I asked to be done was done with great consideration for my needs at the time. Very friendly and caring atmosphere.
Great service and prices!!
Very professional and helpful
Staff was friendly, helpful, and prompt. Highly recommend.
They always fix me up when I need it badly and they never try to over sell me when I get routine maintenance either. It’s awesome.
Great service - very helpful! Wonderful, friendly staff who made sure I had the best experience possible
Great Service .I highly recommend Thank you Mark for your incredible assistance Went beyond and above. ..Thank you for all your wonderful employees who are so outstanding and friendly who took action on my situation..... .
I've been in this store twice. Once I needed a full set of tires for my Chevy Suburban (a very common tire size) and they only had one set of tires that fit that cost $250+ each. The gentleman behind the counter had no real interest in helping, just told me that "maybe next Monday" they would have more stock. The other time I was there it was to replace a donut spare on my wife's car. She had a blow out and I had installed the spare. They replaced the full size tire and put the donut back in the trunk. I thought all was well until a year later when she had another flat. That's when I found out they didn't put the donut back in the trunk and the jack was also missing. I won't be going back.
Fast friendly expert service
Michelle and crew were a huge help today in fixing a tire problem caused by another tire shop. Should have gone to Cj's Tire in the first place. Thank you!
Very friendly staff, and great service.
The shop staff took accountability for screwing up an oil change & replaced or repaired major parts. They could have made the process better for the customer who was inconvenienced on many levels due to their major error.
I used to love CJ’s, I took my car there for everything and recommended it to anyone who needed work done on their cars. About a year ago I noticed that they were trying to push me into doing very expensive repairs that were unnecessary whenever I brought my car in. I thought I’d give them one more chance with my inspection. They told me it would be $1700, mostly for a problem with my power steering, which I was having no problems with. I told them forget about it, brought it somewhere else, and was told that you can only fail someone for power steering if there is a leak and there was NO leak in mine. So they tried to charge me almost $2000 for a false inspection fail. I will never use CJ’s again and would recommend against anyone going there.
Always a very nice staff and they let you know if repairs and maintenance will cost more. Never try to have you sign off on high end repairs if you're not ready to do so. They at least tell you why maintenance should be done, but you have the final say. I've been to other places that really push hard into you spending a lot of money. I don't feel that pressure when I go to CJ's.
For state inspections. I rate then zero star if possible... Took my car in to get inspected they failed the safety inspection said " Control Arm Bushings" bad. I drive this commuter car every day at times 70mph. there is no pulling, clunking noise or any sign that is typical of bad control arm problems. The steering stays straight as an arrow when going up at high speeds even over pot holes !!! They wanted almost 2000.00 $ to fix !!! Took the car to another station for another opinion.... Passed for 45.00 and no mention of control arm failure ! I recommend not going to this place and I suggest reading the PA inspection manual prior to going to any station. it is very clear on what is and isn't pass/fail. print a copy and ask the inspection guy to show you in the manual where your car fails. guaranteed they will pass because the manual only fails cars for blatantly obvious things like tail lights out or tires too worn. 90% of all the stuff they fail for is not even mentioned in the Official PA inspection regs "Vehicle equipment and inspection regulations"
They got my tire fixed quickly so I could get back on the road to the hospital so I could be there in time for the birth of my first granddaughter! Thank you CJ's!!!
Very reasonable prices. Good customer service. Very trustworthy.
Slow service. Their excuse was a packed day. But there was several open bays and a few technicians walking around picking their noses. Trash..
Always do what I ask and in a timely manor with a good price.
CJs is the only place I'll go now. Clear and upfront pricing. No unnecessary work pushed upon you. Great staff that know their stuff.
Decided to support local business and take my car here for new tires and an oil change. During the tire change, they found that a tire sensor was broken and charged me for a new one. i got it back with a "service required" light on and figured it was just a setting the dealership would have to reset. It wasn't until 3 weeks after driving my car that the "check engine" and oil light went on, and my car started making noise. I pulled over to find barely ANY oil in my car. Turns out, They charged me for the oil change, and never changed my oil. They refunded my money and I took it to the dealership to make sure everything was good. The dealership informed me that the they not only charged me for the WRONG oil, never put it in, but ALSO they were the ones who broke the sensor, lied to me and told me it was already broken, then didn't program it, so the service light (which wasn't on before I brought it to CJs) was never shut off. To program the sensor is another $100 that I would've had to pay but luckily my dealership did it for free. I think they have a bunch of grade school dropouts working there. Pay better attention to what your employees are doing. I trusted them to do a good job and they really let me down. I hate spreading negativity but I want to warn others of their malpractice.
We needed an inspection for our car. The service was fast and the staff was very welcoming and helpful with explaining what was wrong with our car. We felt the prices were very reasonable as well. Chris, the manager was very helpful giving us the details of the inspection and service done to our car. We definitely trust his judgment with our vehicles. Mark was also helpful with explaining everything. We are so glad we found a service center we can trust.
Great service and very kind and knowledgeable. New management is really turning it around
I only turned around there because they shut down 61 South bound lane due to an accident.
They were very nice and fast
They always treat me well. They checked the air filters and let me know about replacing them as they were very dirty.
I've been going to the CJs in Limerick for years and always had a great experience. We recently moved to Downingtown and this CJs is horrible. Every time I try to bring my car in for an oil change they tell me the wait is multiple hours. Last time I was told to try a weekday morning so I did and the wait was even longer. If I ask to make an appointment they refuse. I can't sit around for hours with my toddler. There customer service is horrible.
My family and I have gone to CJ's tires for years and this one is absolutely awesome! Great staff and amazing service.
Great place and better people. They always treat me well and the price is always right.
Extremely professional and went over and above to be accommodating!!! Did everything they could to make sure we were happy with our service. Also they took into consideration to do what they could to keep our costs reasonable. I highly recommend them and will definitely be return business. Thanks to everyone involved!!
Great place would recommend to anyone
Terrific customer service.
Good work so far, was upset when told you can pay more than flat rate. What ever happened to flat rate? get done in the time it should take?
Got 4 tires, in and out in 45 minutes. Better prices than expected. First time there. Worth the trip.
Best to shop around.
Very personable, helpful and patient! Thanks guys!
Bought tires here got a fair deal on 4 for the car got a flat cause I ran over a nail [ that's on me ] I took tire off car and into store to get patched told them no rush I have the spare on. picked tire up 2 days later 28$ to patch a 50$ tire & I did the work to change it ! I didn't purchase their guardian plan? come on Cjs the gas station near my house would've plugged it for 8$ probably wouldn't go here for service
