This place is a sham. I called for a quote on one used tire, to replace a flat. The gentleman that I spoke with asked me how many tires I needed I told him one. He repeated what I said paused and said "Uhhh,$400". I said "Wait, $400, I just need one tire". He said it would be $400 for all the tires to be changed. I said I only needed one, he then asked for the size told me to call him back in 10 minutes so he could check to see if they have it. When I called back he said they didn't have it and hung up. Poor customer service and they're only out to get money from their customers. Would not recommend.

I called ahead and spoke to Tony for a quote to mount 18 inch tires with the information requested. When I arrived I confirm with the clerk at the counter.....confirmed After the installation I was charged an additional $20.00 for the installation. After leaving their shop the car felt like it had a low tires. I check the tires, the pressure varied 7 lbs out of four tires. They mounted the tires fast but the attention to detail and being overcharged wouldn't have me going back.

DON'T GO HERE! Absolutely appalled at this place, they didn't even look at my car, and the told me I need tie rod ends, (which i didnt need) when I went for an alignment, they sent me to a garage up the street who want 300 dollars for one tierod which is just as horrible. Never getting work done in waterbury again.

Husband brought jeep there for tires & alignment at around 2, told him it would be a 3-3-1/2 wait. I picked him up & he went home and waited to here from them. He decided to go to the store around 5:30 then stop down to see if his car was even started yet. When he got there he asked the guy if they started yet & they said they just did the alignment but still had to put on the tires, which right there was a lie cause you don't do an alignment without putting on the new tires. He goes outside and sees his car and the window is down so he asked the guy why. He said they rolled down the window & it wouldn't go back up. Which means they broke it but they have a policy that says they are not responsible. Of course my husband was heated & said they needed to fix it. The guy started mouthing off at him & put his keys on the counter & told him to take his car somewhere else. Did I mention it was snowing hard at the time so all kinds of snow got all over the drivers side. They weren't even gonna tell him about the window if he didn't ask. They are rude and have terrible customer service. Would give 0 stars if available.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone to spend there money here. Best off going somewhere else!! Went & got new tires with a alignment, after they were done my alignment was off so I brought it back to get it fixed and the dude tells me my struts are shot ( which they weren’t ) so I leave and go get my suspension checked on and they me everything is fine I just need to change my bushing on the back of my car which was causing a squeaking noise. I call tony at the shop and let him know what happened and this dude literally just started screaming over phone telling me off. Telling me he isn’t married to my car just because he just installed some tires to my car, all I told him is I wanted my car aligned the right way & he wasn’t trying to cooperate.

DO NOT GO HERE. I purchased 4 brand new tires for my 06 nissan on a Saturday afternoon. When leaving Tony's I noticed my rear driver side tire looked a little low but I didn't think much of it- figured they didn't put enough air in it- no big deal. I drive the car straight home and park it in my driveway which is behind my house and has virtually no way of foot traffic to it (this is important). When I woke up Sunday morning to visit my parents I noticed that the same tire was much lower- it clearly had some kind of leak from when I left Tony's. I carefully drive over to my parents house where my father has a compressor and when I park the car I can hear air pouring out of it. I located a hole on the SIDE OF THE TIRE- clearly no nail or anything I did in my short drive home caused this. I could have been in a terrible accident had my tire blown out! I call Tony's tires on that Sunday to let them know the situation (they were closed so I left a message) and ask them to call me back since I knew I had a busy week at work and wouldn't be able to reach them until Thursday the earliest. They never call me back. My father (who had purchased tires from them for years as a business owner) took my car over there to explain what had happened and they said they wouldn't help us out because someone had clearly stabbed my tire!!! I couldn't believe they would try to pull something like this! My father explained the situation again and they wouldn't budge. The experience made me sick to my stomach, these crooks shouldn't be in business.

This place has probably the best prices around on any tire service that you can possibly think of and that's a fact. However recently I had my front tires balanced, and the interior of my car is tan leather my shift knob was completely black covered in as well as my armrest that grease stains on it and my driver side door panel. I did not bother to bring it to anyone's attention this is the second time this has happened at this location.

Thought I found a good place to purchase tires. Recently Purchased 1 without issue. Staff was friendly and I was satisfied. The past Saturday I replaced a second to find shortly after I was missing 2 lugnuts. I immediately called back but they were closed. I left a message on business machine. I returned monday morning to be cussed, screamed at, and I thought I was going to have to defend myself. The owner immediately came from behind the counter in my face, very threatening. He was very angry for what? I wasn't angry but I knew all lugnuts were on my vehicle. Here's the whole problem if I brought my car in missing lugnuts staff would have told me due to it being a safety issue. I use my car for business so I clean it daily. I would have known. They smile in your face but if you ever have a problem Tony the owner will go totally belligerent. I taped the conversation once it became hostile. Foolishness; he told me that the guy that replaced the tire told him I was missing two lugnuts....but never told me. Makes no sense they sell lugnuts I would have purchased 2. I will be at Motor vehicle tomorrow morning. Unprofessional and unsafe practices. Don't trust them!

I went to this shop to get a highspeed balancing of 4 wheels and a wheel alignment. The counter person (Anthony) who offered to help with my inquiry gave me a price of $115.00, to high speed balance 4 wheels and a 4 wheel alignment. The price with tax included was $122.30. Here's the thing. Their posted price for a 4 wheel alignment is $65.00, my vehicle can only take a front 2 wheel alignment. No price was posted for a 2 wheel alignment. Balancing was not quoted separately from the alignment. At the time of payment I had to explicitly request an invoice. The one I received wasn't even itemized. Problem #1, I should have been told what the price for balancing was. Problem #2, I should have been told what the price for the alignment was for my vehicle. Never did Anthony mention that my vehicle could only have a front wheel alignment. Is it cheaper for a 2 wheel as opposed to 4 wheel alignment? I'm not sure but, logically, you'd think so. If you patronize this shop. Be very sure you find out up front the cost of every aspect of the service your vehicle needs. And do tell them you want an itemized bill. Buyer beware!

Popped 2 tires after hitting a pothole and was stranded on the highway. Before tow truck arrived i called many tire shops and most were completely booked and had no openings. I finally found one but they didnt know how many days that it would take to fix my car. AAA flatbed arrived and driver suggested Tony's so i decided why not. Turns out the place is great and had the tires in stock and got me back on the road in about an hour !! They were busy but just managed to fit me in and were quick and experienced. I highly recommend this place !!

Phenomenal establishment. After days of online research, Tony's has the best prices by far, and the service is impeccable. The staff are awesome people, and the waiting room is luxuriously furnished. Quotes given over the phone include mounting, balancing, and 4 wheel alignment, all out the door with tax. I purchased 4 Kumho AT51 tires today with the above services for $10 over what Walmart wanted with no alignment. If you can beat Walmart, you win. I can't recommend Tony's enough. Go to Tony's, or the terrorists win.

I will always go to Tony’s. I used to go all the time when I lived in Waterbury; made the mistake of going to Townfair in Wallingford for a simple tire removal and paid the price. Should’ve gone to Tony’s from the beginning. They got me right in quick and easy to fix it and got me back on the road. Family owned and operated business. Knowledgeable staff. Inexpensive!
