I've been to Paul's shop twice in the past 6 months and, though I've had very minor requests each time (patch job and a consultation), he hasn't let me pay either time! Paul is a downright friendly guy and runs a great shop. For as long as I'm in CT he'll be my tire guy.

BEWARE!!!! I had 2 new ww tires put on one day and 2 ww the next day.the tread is ok, however, after driving a month the whitewalls on the back were discolored. i brought it to the attention of the manager and his fix was to wipe it clean. it seems that every week i have to clean off the second pair of ww while the front pair are perfectly fine. i was able to find out through another tire dealer that the second pair of tires installed were 7 YEARS OLDER than the first pair. there is a tire code on the side of the tire indicating this. i brought this to the attention of discount tire and they will not rectify this saying this is perfectly legal. never again will i do business with them because of this.

We got a flat tire on the way to the beach and everyone here was so nice and helpful. They didn’t try to overcharge us or tack anything extra on and the tire was super affordable and they changed I️t for is super quick!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Dishonest as they get. They tried to charge $25 to mount and balance, which is fine. And an additional $15 to change tpms sensor to rubber valve stem. Any decent shop changes the tpms o-ring, since they go bad eventually. This shop doesn't change the o-rings. They tried to rip me off, but it didn't work. Talked to three different people, but no one mentioned any add'l charges, until they got the car in their possession. Never again for me. I'll go where they know what they are doing and aren't dishonest.

I came here yesterday 10-29-18 to replace a tire that wouldn’t hold air. They identified where the leaks were coming from, and Paul offered me the price for new or used tires. I only needed a quick fix for low price so I chose used. He inspected the rest of my tires and offered me a deal on two of i wanted to get the other dry-rotted tire replaced. What I really liked, was that he didn’t not pressure me or try to push the sale on me at all. And he let me really consider my options. He was honest and cool and collected. He also helped balance another wheel for free since I’m a US Marine (and i didn’t ask, i was going to pay for the extra service) The whole process took maybe 20 minutes. The employees even spotted a bent part of my rim and fixed it! I will always come to Paul for any tire or wheel services when I am in CT!!

Brought my car there to have a tire put on, technician didnt put the tire on flush to the hub or that my studs to my tire may have been compromised. Well the tire came off and the managers excuse was you brought your car in on a weekend and I wasnt here so the technician should have brought it to my attention which never happened at all.

I had a great experience with the staff over at Discount Tire in West Haven. I needed 4 new tires place on my car and they told me to come in at 3:00. I arrive at 3:00 and was out of there before 3:20. Very rapid service if you're in a hurry. Discount Tire....I would highly recommend to the next person!

We walked in to this shop and the owner was there, who's name is Paul. He was down to earth, and respected my time and situation. He was also very friendly to my children. Overall, it was a good experience. It didn't seem to take all too long... The prices were reasonable, comparable to Town Fair tire's lowest model with their offered "special discount for me". I think I got a much better tire (Goodyear line) for a better price with Paul. I also like that there wasn't any price buildups, like balancing.. Mounting.. Disposal fees.. Etc. I didn't have to look at spreadsheets or do any algebra to figure out how much the tires were. The price quoted was the price out the door, of which I paid using a credit card. This shop says they stand by their customers, with cheap to free flat repairs even on tires they didn't specifically buy from them. I plan on bringing my other car over.

Worst tire place ever! I had them replace my tires and they broke the tire pressure light on each of my tires! I didn't realize it was them who did it until my mom had the same problem after they changed her tires. They tried to say it wasn't them and refused to even look at it after the light went on right when I left the place. This is a very expensive part to fix on every tire. Worst experience ever!!! Not recommended!
