CT Tire is incapable of following proper torque specs. If you are someone that cares about proper torquing of your lug nuts/lug bolts, do not bring your vehicle here. I specifically asked about this when having my tire patched, and was told "we torque every vehicle to factory specs" - that sounded great to me. Less than a week later I went to rotate my tires, and the only wheel I could not remove from my car was the one worked on by CT Tire. Jumping on a breaker bar did nothing, so I moved on to a standard air hammer. Pounding on the lugs for 10+ minutes did nothing, they wouldn't budge. Luckily, my buddy's father used to work on dump trucks and had a 3/4" air impact hammer available (extremely overkill to remove a passenger vehicle lug). At max setting, this was the only tool that loosened the lugs. I am honestly surprised the threads weren't stretched, or there was damage to the rim/wheel hub threads. If I was on the side of the road with a flat, I would have been stranded.
As a follow up, I called Don to explain this as feedback, and I was told that is impossible, as if it was my fault. "Company policy is to torque to spec" - there is a difference between reality (torquing to over 160 ft/lbs when the spec is 81 ft/lbs) and "Company Policy". Policies are great, if they are followed. Making a customer feel like they are lying or challenging your work is not the way to go.
This is an honest review, and this has happened to me twice now. This place would be fine if you don't care, or don't' know anything about proper torquing techniques, however if you do care about this don't bring your car here. It is a shame because I like supporting local companies, however I can't continue to give my money to people that treat me this way.
