Joey in Service is a stellar employee and provides excellent friendly customer service! Any good manager and business should take care of their employees, hope that Subaru recognizes this guy alot and often. If i were a business owner id offer him a job!

Jo Bond

We used the short line for an oil change and tire rotation. The vehicle was serviced and ready to go within the time frame given to us when we arrived. The coffee shop and waiting area allowed us to get work done while we waited. Staff were courteous and explained everything well.

It's what you imagine a dealership to be. Dozens of sales people anxiously waiting to sell you a car. An artificial environment of crowded sales floor so you feel you have to get the deal of a lifetime now. If you go in with some wisdom about how dealerships work it's simply a high volume Subaru dealership. That is neither good or bad. The sales person I dealt with had a good whopper about lease versus purchase, no it's not a creative way to pay for a car at a lower rate and yes if you have to buy the lease at the end of the term you will pay more for the car than standard financing but it's car sales. No different than other big dealerships, buyer beware.

I’ve always had great experiences here. Service is quick, efficient, and honest. Even on days when there are 15 other cars in the service center I’ve never had a service take more than 2 hours. They have a free coffee bar and WiFi if you want to wait there, or they offer a complimentary shuttle home and back. So glad I bought my Subaru here!

Max in Colorado Springs

The service department is excellent, there are so many Subaru owners in El Paso county that there are often long lines for service, but they are very efficient. Thanks to Cole for running a great crew and making sure everyone is taken care of. It’s also nice to get some coffee from a great local company and watch the koi swimming around in the pond.

Tobin Morse

Really went the extra mile to make sure I felt valued as a customer!

Quick caveat: I've never been to this location. This is a customer service review of their staff. Specifically, this review is for my purchase of an extended warranty on my already purchased Subaru Outback. I went online and checked some quotes for warranty pricing and since Heuberger was local, I figured I'd give them a shot. Most of the communication was done through email, and the staff was always quick to respond. They got me the exact price I wanted on my 100k warranty and I'd gladly use them for any service-related issues.

We were there for 7 hours...they had us wait for financing for almost 5 hours with a 10 year old and newborn (we didn't leave until 10pm) and when they finally came back with the contract they had picked the wrong term and said that because the bank is closed we'd have to come back later because they cant guarantee the rate or just sign for the longer term now and pay extra over the life of the loan. We don't even know if that was part of the payment parameters we were originally because they wouldnt show us the earlier amount and the only thing they would say for hours is its "almost done" and "thanks for waiting". Insanely unprofessional, awful experience, absolute bs, literally will never purchase a car from here again based on experience alone.

Purchased my first subaru here and highly recommend this dealership! I had asked for pictures of a vehicle because I do not live in Colorado springs and Chris England went out within the hour during the night to send me pictures of the vehicle. He was an awesome salesman from beginning to end making sure I was satisfied. Along with the finance department everything was awesome! I told them what I wanted to put down and pay and there was no hassle. I was very pleased how smooth it was.

Gary Stepaniak

This place and Ray the salesman was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. Dealing with them was so nice. Looking for a car, stop and see them for sure.

I am so happy to have Patrick Riegle as my service advisor. In all the years of having service done on my vehicles, there is no one as thorough as he. I can honestly put my trust in him when I drop my vehicle off and be assured that it is in good hands. He keeps me advised of the progress and well informed if there is anything else that may be needed. Thank you Heuberger and special thanks to Patrick Riegle, JB.

Like waiting 2.5 hours for shuttle service because they apparently can predict traffic from hours away? Like sloppy maintenance why work? This your place!

Just moved back to Colorado from Virginia and I was looking for a new Subaru dealer so I looked for the closest dealer to me. Utterly disappointed with this dealership. They call themselves #1 in the nation; that’s a joke. I called 3x on Monday during my lunch break and never got through to a person. I left 2 voicemails. I gave them 48 hours to return my call before calling back. Yesterday I called on my lunch and was put through to voicemail again. I hung up and called the operator back and explained what had happened and how long I’ve been waiting to schedule service. She took a hand written note to them with my information and how long I’d been waiting for a call back. Here we are 24 hours later and I still have not gotten a call. If you’re on the east coast call Hyman Bros Subaru as they know how to set high standards for customer service. As for Heuberger Subaru they didn’t even come close to meeting the lowest of expectations. Take your business elsewhere if you ask me; at least to someone who might return a phone call.

Geoffrey Eaton

Chris Preston was fantastic to work with - very patient and really took the time to make sure the vehicle was right for our family - very highly recommended!

Michael Mayes

Excellent experience buying a new car from Arthur. He is very helpful and easy to work with.

Danny Searcy

price of vehicles are good. However after service is poor. Purchased a new vehicle in September. Had minor hail damage that they agreed to fix, which is appropriate for a new car. They were schedule to pick it up from my house as they promised. After prodding, they did repair it the following week. Later on, Subaru issued a recall that they estimated would take 30 minutes to fix. Dealership stated that I would need to leave the car for 4 hours minimum. As this was a issue with a brand new car, I would think that the dealership would offer a loaner car in that I could drive to work. There response, they could rent me a car for $35 that I could us. I find this unacceptable in that I spent 30K on a new car and the problem is with the manufacturing, not something that I did. Because of this, I will not purchase a vehicle from this dealership.

Sharon Dixon

Clean, accurate with great waiting area. I like the free coffee and fruit. Thanks!! Took the shuttle home, nice service. Clean bathrooms. I will not go anywhere else again.

I’ve been taking my Subaru here since I bought it in 2006. Up until the last year the service has been exceptional every time. It was always convenient and consistent. Friendly and affordable. They were always eager to answer questions and help figure things out financially if needed. The last time I brought it in (Jan 2019) the service advisor I worked with was awesome and went above and beyond. However, the two times prior to that the communication with the service advisor was horrible and inconsistent. He miss quoted the mechanics advice on service. Got huffy when I corrected him and then finally said he was going to get the correct information and call me back. Thank you, finally! I know what is going on with my car therefore I know when they’re giving misinformation. This gives a feeling of being treated differently because of sex like so many repair shops do. I have never felt like I was being taken advantage of by this shop prior to this encounter. I blew it off as miscommunication and gave them grace since they’ve always had a great track record. Today I called to schedule an appointment to bring it in for a check engine light that I already had the code read. The secretary on the phone disregarded my question about having to pay the diagnostics price if I’ve already had it diagnosed. Just breezed right over the question and asked “Do you want to schedule an appointment and the next one isn’t until 3/19?” I feel that the people answering the phone and the advisors need feedback on how to answer questions and if they can’t answer the question to find someone who can. It seems that there is a turn over of service advisors and secretary staff and has turned over quite a bit recently. The last handful of times I have taken my Subaru in I’ve received mailers mailed directly to me from the Sales department encouraging me to trade in my car for a new one. Not once has anyone actually asked what my plans for my vehicle were. Again I blew this off but frankly it’s feeling like they’re turning into a typical dealership wanting money instead of providing exceptional service. The inconsistency and back door sales approach has me looking for another place to take my Subaru. I’m so disappointed.

Joe Esker was an outstanding salesman! There was no pressure to buy. It was all about what met OUR needs. Best deal and value in all of Colorado! We will highly recommend Joe and Subaru to our family, friends and coworkers. I am a nurse with lots of visiting nurse and therapist friends that I am going to share our experience with. Thank you Joe!

Jason Rabago

Quality cars but the sales dept was subpar. I had to go back a few days later after buying it for my safety inspection and window tent since it was Labor Day weekend. I was fine with that. When I left and brought my vehicle home, I realized I had only a quarter tank (what dealership doesn’t supply their customer's with full tanks?). After the holidays I took the vehicle for the safety inspection and they forgot the window tent (smh)... and I live in Falcon. I had to go back to get the window tent. I probably won’t shop their anymore. It’s wasn’t very systematic. You would think they could schedule this in a system when you buy it, so they won’t lose track of what supposed to be done.

Alex Hsu

I had to come in without an appointment because my low oil light came on (entirely my fault for not changing the oil before a 4000 mile road trip). Came in and they immediately helped me out and within three hours I was back on the road to Seattle. Would definitely come back the next time I visit!

Anne Schoen

They are great! Always honest, reliable, and efficient.

Update: Cole Collins called me to follow up on my service experience. He was able to adjust my bill and expressed how their goal is to provide the best customer service experience possible. I really appreciate his reaching out to me and will give them another try the next time my car needs service. Thanks Cole! First time service and my last service with these guys. My daughter brought my Subaru in for scheduled maintenance. She asked for, but did not get a military discount applied at check out. She pointed this out to the cashier. However since it took all day to get the maintenance done, the service department was already closed when she picked up the vehicle. It took much longer than they said it would. The represented told her there was nothing they could do and that we should call back in a day, once the service department was open again to correct the situation. Called today and was told they could not apply military discount as I had already paid...yea, never heard of putting a credit back on a charge card. Great way to treat your veterans, in Colorado Springs no less. Oh, and don’t bother with the boilerplate response about having me call one of your service representatives like all the other poor service reviews. My experience is it’s impossible to get someone on the phone and you don’t return calls.

Ric Denton

I ordered a new Subaru Forrester. Working with the sales person, it was very straightforward. The price was what I expected to see. No hassles or spending long hours negotiating. When the car was delivered, absolutely no surprises! I am a happy customer!

The Lazy Wavy

This company needs a lesson in setting expectations. Appointment times mean nothing here, it’s just the time you drop off your car. I wasn’t told this until I actually dropped my car off. When I made the appointment, I was told that it would be 1-1.5 hours for the service. I dropped my car off at 11:30 and didn’t get it back until after 6 pm. If I hadn’t called to check on it during the day I don’t know if I would’ve gotten it back today. On top of all this, I had to speak to four different people just to get an estimate and make an appointment. My part wasn’t in stock, so they had to order it. I called this morning before my appointment to make sure the part was in and ready to go and I was told that they never ordered it. When I pressed further, saying that the parts representative told me he ordered it when I was on the phone with him, the receptionist just transferred me to the parts department to figure it out myself. After thirty minutes we finally figured out that two customer accounts had been made in my name, and the part was actually there. But, had I not called to check, they would’ve let me drive all the way to the dealership with no window in the middle of winter in Colorado just to be told that my window hadn’t been ordered. Finally, when I got to the dealership I walked into the service bay to see at least six employees chatting with each other. A couple even made eye contact with me but did not acknowledge my presence until I stood there for a few minutes. My representative, Mark, had an attitude with me the entire time he dealt with me. When he quoted the price for the service, it was about $100 higher than I was quoted on the phone. He told me that my car would be ready mid afternoon, but that came and went. When I called to check in at 2:30, they hadn’t even started on it. The time went from mid afternoon to 4, then 5, and when I called at 5:30 I was told it would finally be ready at six. That is also the time that they close and I live 30 minutes away. I’m giving three stars only because the work was done today and it seems to be done correctly. They also finally honored the original price I was quoted due to the extra time. However, I will most likely not be coming back if this is their version of “customer service.”

Jill Mayer

Wonderful service. Professional staff. Great coffee bar. I would recommend then to anyone looking to purchase a car or get maintenance, service, or recall done.

Elizabeth Eads

Great, honest people. Very good price (could not find same car for better price) and service.

Akosia Colin

I actually wanted to give zero star. Even though we llove our outback, we were initially given a different price and when paperpaer was done and ready to go price was different and had gone up. This is unacceptable Subaru!!!!!. The service at this place is terrible. The front lady Wendy or Zeda what ever her name is has horrible people skills. She is RUDE and miserable. I think we made a mistake using these guys. Once our time is we are definitely going to Subaru in Denver for sure. We love them with our second car. They are fat better.

john gustine

Great overall experience with their friendly staff.

Buying from Heuberger was a great experience. Both Marshall and Joey kept me up to date on when my car would be delivered and where in the process it was. They worked hard to get it ready in time for my pickup. They were available to answer any questions.

We went to Heuberger Subaru today to look at a 2008 Toyota Highlander that they had on the lot. I met with a salesman who introduced himself when my wife and I walked in the door, but who was continuously distracted by other things he was doing. We finally managed to do a test drive, albeit a very short one (approximately 2 miles total). This was despite the fact that I specifically told him that I wanted to get up to highway speed to check the cruise control. Instead, we were on I-25 less than 300 yards (we stayed on the on/off ramp between Cimarron St & Tejon St). So much for testing the cruise control. The salesman obviously wanted to get back to the dealership as soon as possible. When we returned I parked the car and he immediately disappeared with the key. He showed up again a few minutes later, but disappeared again after leaving me with the key so that we could further check the car. My wife and I eventually went back into the shop, but the salesman was nowhere to be found. After some 5 minutes we finally gave up. I returned the key to the receptionist and we left. Our salesman was very nice, but he obviously did not have time for us. He later called my cell and I told him why we left. To his credit he apologized for the lack of customer service. That's nice, but too little too late. I won't mention the salesman by name, as I have no desire to embarrass him. I was clear to him in my disappointment, and he lost the sale as a result. EDIT (7/25/2019): I bumped this review from 1 to 3 stars for the response provided by Heuberger.

Jessica Lennie

My experience at Heuberger has been wonderful up until needing to get the ac on my brand new Impreza fixed. I waited 3 hours to be told that I would have to come back in a week when the part gets in to fix the problem. Aside from the seemingly long wait and no resolution to my problem the entire staff is very kind and helpful.

Diane Dau

Walking into Heuberger Subaru we were kindly greeted by their staff . We explored the place and looked at the cars in the showroom while waiting for our salesman. We knew what we wanted and were already set to look at two different models. Marshall had greeted us and got right on it and grabbed keys to test drive each car. He helped us make our decision by being very informative about both models and showed us different aspects on each vehicle. He was also honest and funny, which made the experience more memorable. It was honestly the easiest car purchase we’ve ever had !! Went by quickly and we ended up coming in and leaving with the car we wanted!! Best decision we’ve ever made !! Thank you Marshall!!

Keith Christensen

The only place for me when it comes to buying a car in Colorado Springs, they could be a little faster, IMHO.

Danny Schuster

This is like a bad joke, I've called and left three messages at the service center over the course of three weeks to get recall work done (since it says to call online instead of filling out an online form) and no one has called back. I even told the operator about it, she assured me someone would answer this time, and yet again, voicemail. Thanks guys....

Zak

The sales rep that helped me out was fantastic. After going on a test drive I look under the hood and see the WRX has a Cobb intake system. I asked if the car had been tuned, and was referred to "someone more knowledgeable" about the vehicle. I was told I didn't know what I was talking about and that they sell hundreds of these vehicles with that modification without a tune. They either have no idea how modifications affect the car, or are desperate enough to try pushing customers into anything. I wouldn't recommend anyone visit this dealership for a used vehicle.

Mark Slabaugh

Had my annual service and they indicated my break pads were worn out during the service. No issues since I had the car for 4 years now. However after they gave me the bill I was astonished at how much they overcharge. Break pads were 3x the cost and they charged for two hours of labor. Have replaced my own brake pads and calipers when I was stationed overseas and it took 2 hrs for a novice watching a YouTube video. Spoke with the manager and he admitted that he has every right to overcharge. And we have every right to go somewhere that is honest and won’t charge you for more labor than they perform. BEWARE.

Jonathan Prindle

I bought a used forester awhile back with a three year warranty. Their service is typically pretty good, but I’ve had nothing but issues when using the warranty. The first time I attempted to use the warranty the insurance company refused the parts and labor. The dealership stepped up and covered the cost which impressed me. The second time the insurance company took three hours to approve the costs. Obviously the insurance company they have teamed up with sucks, and they should look into teaming with someone else. On top of this, Subaru always seems to have trouble locating my warranty, you’d think they’d have all of that info stored in their data base somewhere. My lastest experience has been less then thrilling. My axle boot has been in need of repair and they finally decided it was time to replace it using the warranty. The part wasn’t in and they had to order it and said they would call when it arrived (est about 4-5 days). Except they never ordered it. I called the service department multiple times and never received a response. It wasn’t until I submitted a response online through their contact form that I got a response...4 weeks later. On top of that I got transferred 6 times when finally contacted and nobody seemed to know what was going on until I talked to someone in the parts department. I’ve had good and bad experiences here, but honestly I would never get a warranty through them (directly or indirectly) ever again.

I purchased my first car from Subaru about a month ago. It was an excellent experience. I was not pressured to make a purchase I was not ready for (I came back two separate weekends to have time to think and make a decision). The entire team was honest and caring with helping me select a car. Everyone always talks about how hard and stressful it is dealing with care dealerships. I did not have that experience. I felt heard and respected. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car!

Susan Johnson

For the first time ever I used the shuttle service at Hueberger Subaru. Both Evan & Mark, the drivers were professional, polite, and great representatives for an already superior business! Car repairs and maintenance are something none of us like to deal with but they both made my day much easier and I appreciate the friendly service. It was very evident they both enjoy their job and the company they work for! Thank you

Peggy Dlugos

Bought a brand new 2019 Outback on Monday, July 29. On Wednesday I noticed a rattle under the car on the driver's side. Brought the car in to service dept. on Thursday morning. A technician drove in the car with me to hear the noise. He was able to hear it. Car was looked at and two hours later I was told that the heat sensor around the muffler was bent and causing the rattle. This was supposedly fixed. I was told the car was taken for a test drive and the rattle was gone. As soon as I drove onto Motor City Drive I heard the rattle. Obviously the problem was not corrected. Had I not had an afternoon appointment I would have circled around and driven right back to the service department but I also have a schedule to stay on. So frustrating!!!

Jeannette Melton

We've been extremely pleased with the C/S we have received, from the moment we made contact with Heuberger Subaru. From sales associates, to lending associates, to customer representatives, and the sales associates, everyone has been very accommodating and helpful in assuring us that we made the right decision - the purchase of our first Subaru!

Mark Hill

High quality, fast and expensive service. Nice waiting area with a free coffee bar for customers.

Jimmy Ford

My wife Took our forester in for some recall work on the brake system. She calls me to tell me that the tech says we need brake pads that ours are bad and have to be changed immediately. So a month later I change the brakes and they are just fine. Still have plenty of life left. So basically they just flat out lied to my wife cause she doesn’t know anything about repairs. So if your a person that doesn’t know about cars, then get a second opinion about anything they tell you, or just don’t go to Heuberger at all. They have shown that they will lie to get work.

Lucas Hothan

My car broke down on my way home to Kansas, and after a rough couple of days trying to sort out that mess, I ended up at Heuberger Subaru. The service department was fantastic and very straightforward with getting my car in to be looked at even tho they were very busy. I ended up looking around the lot and decided to splurge on a brand new Crosstrek. The sales team and everyone I spoke with were phenomenal. I've never dealt with such honest and genuine car dealers. After trading my car in I left a couple things behind by accident, and after contacting them they immediately collected and shipped them to me for free. I couldn't be more happy with the way they treated me - looking like a flat out hobo - and got me back on the road. Thank you all again!

Jeffrey R Gallo

Fabulous experience buying from Heuberger Subaru. Fast process, no hassle and easy to work with.

Kristina Kilcoyne

We bought our first Subaru in February 2019- the new Ascent. Our salesman, Jason Schoch, made sure everything went seamlessly as we ordered the car and made sure we had all the accessories we needed. A few months later, when we received our license plates, we realized there was no face plate for the front plate. Also, we wanted to add cross bars and purchase a cargo carrier for the car. Jason put the license plate and the cross bars on himself, as the service bays were pretty busy on July 5th. We were thrilled to have our carrier for a road trip the following week. Jason went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Excellent service!

Just got my 2nd Subaru from here and I had nothing but good things. Keith my sales person was understanding and explained to me why leasing was my best bet. He took the time to explain how, and they even worked with giving my Impreza a decent trade in.

Joey Sanchez

Wife and I enjoyed the whole buying process at Heuberger Subaru, probably the best car buying experiences we've had, Keith, Patrick the sales reps were fantastic, wouldn't hesitate going back to Heuberger in the future.

Stephen Coker

Deceptive business practices ...! I was trying to get financing through Subaru for the car I was purchasing and they added items on to my loan I was getting by lying to me. They are not to be trusted. You might try another dealership either in Denver or Pueblo, they might be more honest. UPDATE, The Heuberger Subaru management has been more than helpful in handling my complaint, in that they are reimbursing me for the items that were added which I thought added by deception. I would like to added that the sales staff had all always been more than helpful and courtesy. If I was buying from them again, I would, but I would be a little more leery of the financial department add ons. What is the saying "Buyer beware" I had previously owned a Subaru and find my purchase here more than satisfactory. I guess it helps them to have a car that sales itself. I hope their over success, doesn't becomes their downfall.

Chessaria Moriarty

They have always treated me right here. They've worked with me to find the right car and taken care of the maintenance when necessary. I had a couple of recalls recently and they made the whole process pretty painless.

Lauren Cowan

I purchased a 2019 Subaru Forester Touring from Heuberger last month. It was the easiest car buying experience. Bill Nelson, our sales consultant, was knowledgeable and attentive. He made the process so enjoyable and easy. Buzz, in finance, was also amazing! What is usually the hardest and longest part of any car buying experience was so simple and painless. My husband and I will be buying from them again in the future!!!

Amy .

Purchase experience was pleasant and I loved my 2019 Subaru Forester... Until the windshield glass shattered within 6 months of purchase! The windshield can only be replaced with glass directly from the dealership which costs over 1,000 dollars. Apparently this is a known problem with Subaru glass including a law suit in Canada for the glass on the recent Outback models. This was not factored in with the cost of purchasing a new vehicle and since the glass that will be installed will be of the same quality the cost of this vehicle just likely went up exponentially. I have filed a report with the national auto safety commission and can only hope enough others do so to force a recall!

Good morning. I just wanted to leave a comment about Patrick Riegle one of your Service Consultants. I am in your facility for service on a regular basis as our family has 3 Subarus. Normally its very routine, oil changes, etc. Recently I had my tires rotated and balanced at Discount Tire. (where I buy our tires from) During the process they stripped a wheel stud, gave me a voucher for Brakes Plus, got the stud replaced. (on a Sat) Monday on my way to work I noticed issues, vibration, car felt unstable. That afternoon I went to Disc Tire in Monument (where I work) they pulled wheels, rebalanced and told me they thought a wheel brg was going out also one wheel bent at hub. I called Heuberger talked to Patrick and brought the car in. Service determined wheel brg was going out, wheel not bent but did not have hub centric ring like an OEM wheel making it impossible to properly mount wheel. They also said 2 wheel studs had been stripped. So several issues on my car that I depend on to get me to and from work in Monument. My job as an MRO Buyer at J&J/Jabil is somewhat stressful, all of these issues with the car on top of that, made for a difficult few days. Patrick took the time to explain all of this to me, what the problems were, the causes, the options we had on repairs and what was involved, the cost and how long it would take. On Patrick's advise I called Disc Tire in Monument about the stripped wheel studs, they agreed to re-imburse me so Patrick was able to get the studs replaced. In all wheel, studs, a new (factory) wheel installed, everything balanced, car is driving smooth as glass and I am confident in the information provided to me by Patrick which allowed me to make the best decision on how to proceed with repairs. I was only without the car for one day. I am very happy with my Impreza and with Heuberger and especially with Patrick Riegle. I trust Patrick, he communicates every detail, his information is accurate, does what he says he is going to do and goes above and beyond in his job, is very friendly, personable and I appreciate all of this. You don't get this kind of attitude, consideration, honesty and integrity much these days. These three cars get myself, my wife and daughter to work and school every day. We count on them year round and we count on Heuberger to help us keep the cars in good shape, making sure they are dependable, reliable and economic transportation. Thank you Heuberger Subaru and Patrick Riegle for your excellent Service & Customer Service! Bill Mitchell & family

Heuberger Subaru is where it’s at! My husband and I had a wonderful experience buying our new Subaru Forestsr and the customer service is exceptional! The free coffee bar is always a plus! During our test drive, we could tell that our salesman Chris truly believed in Subaru as a company through his positive energy. He was very knowledgeable about all the cars and their features. We never felt pressured at Heuberger Subaru as we have in the past at other car dealerships. Check them out if looking for a new car, you won’t regret it!

I have not had a good experience with this dealership. I have given serious consideration to a Subaru when looking to replace my cars over the past decade. I usually wind up dealing with a slovenly, condescending salesperson who seems to alienate my wife with sexist comments and behavior. The past two test drives for new Outbacks for model years '18 through '19, my wife was told to sit in the back seat while the salesman road up front. On the first drive, my wife was left sitting in the back after the salesman asked to speak with me alone in the salesroom. The latest test (6/15/19) she was ordered to sit in the back so the salesman could manipulate the controls while I drove the car, which was very distracting. Despite this I agreed to a price and model pending a fair offer for my trade in. At this point in the process, the salesman proceeded to prime us for a low offer by ridiculing the research I have done on my own. He lectured me on how unrealistic shoppers were on residual vehicle values. Then he offered half the private party sale value of my car while attempting to point out barely perceptible flaws that even he was unsure of. We told him the deal was off unless the offer was changed. So, no new Subaru for me, once again. I have since had two offers for the kbb trade value and am currently looking for a used outback that fits my needs. I would like to think that I have just had bad luck with heuberger Subaru, but I suspect that is not the case.

Joanna Zaremba

We purchased our 2012 Forester from Heuberger Subaru. I have used the service department many times over the last few years. I love that they have a complimentary coffee bar and shuttle service to drop you off while your vehicle is being serviced. I am so grateful to have a top notch service department to work with! Cole Collins has been extremely helpful, and I'm so glad he's there to shape the customer experience in the service department. My sister also has a Subaru, and she hasn't had the same level of service at her local dealership.

Michael Curran

Dave Wilkinson was such a good salesman! He did an excellent job of finding out exactly what we wanted and then matching us with the perfect car for our needs. He patiently answered all our questions, and he knew an amazing amount about every detail of our vehicle. Working with Dave was fantastic!

Went in for a normal oil change. The crew didn't seem on their game today. Unorganized, personal skills were off. I hope this isn't a direction they are heading in because they have always been 5 stars for a long time.

Paul Crutchfield

John A. was very helpful addressing our concerns. The inspection was thorough and he was able to work with our urgent timeline. I recommend Heuberger Service to anyone with a Subaru.

John Donahue

I knew Pete Heuberger in the good old days and I was always impressed by his integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism. These characteristics have carried over to his business. I ordered my Subaru Outback via telephone while I was still in California. Ryan Ollis, of the internet sales section, could not have been more helpful. The day after I returned to Colorado Springs I took a taxi to Heuberger Motors and my new Outback was ready and waiting. Ryan took some time to brief me on a few operating essentials and I was on my way! The most pleasant, pain free, vehicle purchase I've ever made. And, I'm in my 80's so I've had a few! To top it off, I absolutely love my new Outback! Five stars - no hesitation!

Joice Panakkal

Joe was great in helping us to look for new car

Virginia Perry

A big shout out to Heuberger Subaru and Nick Smith. They made my purchase of a 2019 Ascent super easy and tried hard to answer all the persistent questions of a senior citizen! Thank you.

Tommi Narunsky

I had the absolute best experience working with Jason Schoch. He made the car buying process as easy and stress-free as possible. Jason was so helpful, informative, kind, and attentive without making us feel pressured at any point. The best kind of salesman. I love my new Crosstrek and can’t thank Jason enough for his assistance throughout the process!

Richard Hahn

I HATE to buy cars. Pressure, half truths, etc., has made past experience depressing. This was not the case at Heuberger. Joe Esker was my salesperson and he was outstanding in every respect. He offered suggestions, listened to my wife and I, and lead us to a Legacy which we are very happy with. The finance experience was also great. In addition, the followup appointment was helpful and much appreciated. I recommend Heuberger with no reservations.

Sarah Hwang

The employees here are always so kind and helpful, from the technicians to the cafe staff to the administration. We've been here twice in the past few weeks, and both times have been handled very well, with quick and kind service. We came the first thing for an odd grinding noise coming from the wheel on the driver side. Turns out, a small rock got stuck between the brake/rotor. We got there a little less than an hour before closing with no appointment and were initially told we had to return the next day. However, the service manager came along and took care of us. We went on a quick test drive where he identified the noise immediately, and the tech was able to remove the rock quickly. We enjoyed our complimentary drinks from the Java Kat Cafe during our short wait. We came back a week after that for the 30k maintenance. Service was again, very kind, helpful with explaining, and quick (we were there less than two hours). The Cafe had a nice setup for laptops so we worked while we were there with free wifi available and enjoyed complimentary drinks once again. They have coupons available on their website as well, don't forget to use those if applicable!

Lea Flores

My son just picked up his first car here it was a very pleasant experience they did a great job and he has a car that he definitely wants

Christopher Huzau

I had a very pleasant experience with Heuberger, whom my wife recommended to me after she had a great experience with 7 years ago. I was helped by Damon Mayfield and Kory, and they were both very professional and quick to respond to me via email, texts and phone calls. I had to wait about an hour for finance, but Kory was very attentive to me and kept me updated often. He even helped me clean out my trade in while I was waiting for finance. If you are in the market for a Subaru these guys won't let you down. I drove all the way from Ward to buy a car from them.

Tiffany Dombeck

I came in not really expecting to buy the car that I was test driving since I had already ordered something else. The value for the money and the quality of the Crosstrek changed my mind! My salesperson was very helpful, knowledgeable and able to answer any questions that I had. I did experience one glitch in the process worth nothing. I had was a discrepancy in trade value, I was told initially one value and then it dropped when I went in to buy the car. Outside of that, the experience was seamless.

Brandon

My Forester is being worked on for a couple of issues (all under warranty), this dealership and Subaru have exceeded my expectations so far. Zeb and Marshall have gone out of their way to make sure things are going as quick as possible. Now just waiting on things to get finished!

Lauren Karlskin

Zeb, Jordan Avery, and Matt were totally awesome. Zeb was able to get my Car inspected the morning I called. They were able to replace the parts my car needed that same day and it literally took only a couple hours for everything. Their response time was fast and the service overall was exceptional. A+ to the service team. You guys/gals are doing a great job! Thank you. You’ve earned a long-term customer.

Paul Davis

Very nice! They take good care of your car and they have a great latte bar, with ice tea and lemonade available as well. Oh and it's free!!!

Carol Galambos

As an older single woman, I appreciate the courtesy and consideration I receive from the Service personnel. They are patient with my questions and make sure I understand what's needed and am satisfied.

Cherri Spaulding

So I almost chose not to do business here based on Yelp reviews. After sharing my concerns with salesman Robert Migliore he convinced me to reconsider. Robert was kind enough to pick me up & transport me to the dealership. Long story short, I leased my first Suburu Outback today. Robert was great, I never felt pressured, the entire process took 4 hours including travel time. I was very impressed & highly recommend considering this dealership for your next purchase. Buzz in the finance department was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions. This entire experience was a pleasure. Stay tuned for updates on future routine service visits.

Robin Steffens

What can I say other than we bought the new Ascent model. Good folks, good followup and in our minds a good deal.

Mark Doughty

Great inventory and pricing, great experience with our sales rep. Easy transaction. So glad with went with the Crosstrek from Heuberger.

Mike Murphy

These guys are the Subaru pros. I see good deals going on and the service is above par. More of an Eagle.

Chris Stieler

My car had only 20,000 miles on it but was not sounding right. I took it in and found it was past warranty by just a couple weeks. However, the service dept. diagnosed the problem and corrected it without a charge as they saw I had to wait a few weeks for the appointment and had bought the car at their dealership. They waived even the diagnostic test fee. Way to keep a satisfied customer coming back!

Sarah Forgie

I was visiting in town in Monument Colorado with a friend from Connecticut she’s a Subaru that she had to bring to Hugh Burger Subaru in Colorado Springs we drive down there she had a recall on a airbag we got there we left the Subaru there and we went with her daughter into her home in Colorado Springs we got back three hours later driving home and she ask me to switch the CDs all her 21 CDs were missing she is reply respond it to him he burgers a few times was told to get back to the get back to her they get back to her so I’m taking it into my own hands at this point if you guys don’t get back to her I will report this to the Better Business Bureau because this is ridiculous please our CDs that are classics some of her CDs were given to her by her late husband 21 cities is quite a bit and if you can’t replace them for her I will report this she will never come back to you as a client she has always thought you were great but after this response and nobody getting back to her and then took people saying oh yeah but we don’t know where it is or we don’t think anybody stole him how can anybody think that nobody stolen when we got there and we knew the cities were there we need an answer ASAP Karen Tierney does not have Twitter so I do and I’m going on behalf of her so I expect an answer ASAP. Allison Stanley

Let’s not sugarcoat it, it’s a dealership. With all of the “dealership” pros and cons but this particular establishment has an incredible sales staff, Chick-fil-A level service staff, and perfect cars for this Colorado life. The coffee/snack bar is definitely a step above and I seriously can’t say enough about the service staff. In my years of doing business with Heuberger Subaru I have never had a complaint.

Cristina Aulava

My experience at Heuberger was amazing! Jared is who helped me, not only did he help me find the perfect car he was extremely helpful. The overall process was quick and stress free. Words can't explain my satisfaction knowing I got a great car at a great dealership. I highly recommend buying your next car here!

Ryan Cutts

I brought my '13 Impreza in for a recall repair on the 4th, and found a blown strut the next day when Big O changed the oil. I called Heuberger to ask about it, and left my original review here. Marshall reached out the day after to see how he and the dealership could make this right, and they certainly have! I spoke with the service manager, Cole, and they will be replacing the strut as a "good faith replacement". As of editing this review, my Impreza is at the service department waiting for the new part to come in and be installed.

Joe Lee

If you are active duty military don't shy away from this dealership. Quick, efficient, and amicable the dealership has quality workers willing to explain and help purchase any Subaru vehicle for an fair price and finance rate. First experience at a car dealership that was pleasant and smooth. If everything from the price to the insurance is in line from beginning to end the process will take about 3-4 hours which is extremely fast for purchasing a car and going home that day with it.

Aaron K

This Dealer IMO has gotten to big of a head. We had a back experience with the sales staff last year, Now its there Service Dept. We dropped off our 14 Impreza for a recall on the Brake Light Switch, We get a call saying that the brake pads were shot in the rear. Told them we would replace them our selves. Get the car home and start looking over the Inspection report from them and it says the rear Brake lights are out. WTF, we go out and check them and sure enough there out. I followed the car to the dealer to drop it off and they worked. Now they do recall work for the brake light switch and they don't?????? Pull both Bulbs out and there both blown. They worked the day before and i have the Dash Camera on my truck to prove that while we were parking it at the dealer they worked just fine. They do work and they don't. Seems like they only wanted to mention a Big repair job to make money VS a small safety job that should have been mentioned. Seems odd that it goes in for a Brake light switch to be replaced and now both bulbs are blown, I think they shorted the wires somehow. Ill drive to Pueblo before dealing with these guys again. Sick of the brush off all the time here.

Jeff Diehl

Several friends recommended Heuberger Subaru for products, service, and culture, and the actual buying experience (new Ascent) was even better than anticipated! The pricing, approach, facilities, responsiveness, and commitment are all top notch and should serve as a model for all brick and mortar car dealers who hope to remain competitive through the disruptive technologies. Jim Adams and his Internet sales partners were exemplary. Scott, in Finance, was also exceptional, cutting to the chase quickly, and ensuring we totally understood all the details.

Jaimie Drummond

I just recently purchased a used Subaru Outback here. This was my 3rd vehicle I have financed from a dealership, and by far the best the experience. Ernesto and Joe (look I remembered your names!) were absolutely wonderful to work with. Both were available and helpful throughout the entire process. I would absolutely purchase here again and I will be sure direct anyone I know your way. Thank you both and thank you to the wonderful team who all went above and beyond to get me into my first Subaru!! I couldn't have asked for a better purchasing experience!! Plus who could complain about the coffee bar?? Thank you to everyone and I look forward to working with you guys again!!

Stephanie Johnson

I purchased a Legacy in 2012 and had no issues with the purchase. The service department at Heuberger is pretty good, honest and fast. I trusted them to do all of my car's service, and only had issues with them replacing my timing belt (the serpentine belt came loose but they corrected it). When I went to sell my car, which was in pristine mechanical shape with no issues to the body, they didn't want to make an offer because the car had 130k miles and they didn't want to risk taking on my car and getting a bad online review from a future purchaser \. They wouldn't even throw out an offer. I drove it to Denver and had no issues getting what I was looking for at Groove Subaru.

ashley weinberg

Hands down one of the best waiting areas while our Subaru was having a service! FREE coffee that is made by this sweet barista!! Loved it

Debra Garrett

No issues. Very nice service tech. It took less time than estimated. They were very busy.

mark zalen

Own a 2009 forester. Just recently had to get the recalled airbag replaced. Had the work done, now have NO HEAT In my car! Noticed the day after the service. One of the control knobs won't budge! Now, I understand techs are human and we all make mistakes. Trying to get back into getting the vehicle serviced with our extremely busy schedule is a nightmare!!! I've had to reschedule many times nows. I feel they should send a tech to me when it is convenient for me! This is THEIR mistake!! But my only option is take time out of my life to solve a problem they created. Hell, makes me wonder if the airbag is even installed correctly - what, I have to trust their word and a service ticket to give me the satisfaction the device would function properly in the event of an accident? Very frustrating dealing with a dealership and auto mfr that were once very reputable, but have gone down the tubes.

Zuggy Pug

Zuggy the Rescue Pug loves cruising around in Mom's 2016 Outback so he's happy when she gets the recommended maintenance from the dealer. Last week she was telling Dad all about the great customer service, and the fabulous latte she enjoyed, while waiting for the oil change. They were prompt, courteous, and detailed with their inspection. 5 stars for Heuberger in Colorado Springs!

Amber Hudson

I got a car there in September. It was the easiest decision to get a Subaru, but their parts and services areas are not reliable and uncommunicative. I hate that I have to buy parts through them due to the ignorance that goes into ordering the wrong part and then promising a certain pick up day to a customer and then not calling them back on that day. If you think the service area is any better, think again. These people do not know how to work a phone and let me leave with a broken tail light without even an offer to fix it (in fact the guy told me to go to auto zone). I'm just disappointed with my experience but can't do anything about it except post this because where else will I get Subaru parts in Colorado Springs, when I really need them?

Dawn Hunke

We recently had to have a new clutch put into our Subaru. Heuberger Subaru gave us great customer service for a fair price. We will definitely return for any future services we may need.

Ziggy

Very surprised that they had all of the 18+ parts I needed in stock. Josh helped me out in parts and was some of the best service I have had going anywhere in a while. Sipped a free Arnold Palmer while I waited (only took 5 minutes or so though). Credit where credit is due. Cheers!!

Ashley Stanford

Not impressed. At all. My car has been having issues with idling, it likes to try to die after a few seconds. I took my car here because I heard they were the best. They are over an hour from where I live. I dropped off car at 10am (on the dot per my appointment), I was told it would be a few hours to diagnose and that I would get a call with updates. I sat in the waiting room for three hours then we decided to take the shuttle to the mall to kill time. By 3 pm, i still hadn't received any updates. We called the shuttle to take us back, went to go speak with the service rep, and apparently "several hours" prior, the techs still couldn't figure out what was wrong and had to get the foreman involved who still couldn't figure it out. Ok, fine, I understand difficult problems, but by this point, it was an hour before the maintenance bay closed. And here we were with our only car still "being worked on". So they definitely had some updates to tell us, but forgot? Got busy? Didn't feel like it warranted that update? God knows what would have happened if I never checked in personally. So we decide to take the car back home (1.5 hours drive) and that I would bring it back next week. On the way home, my car started to overheat! I have owned this car, living in Georgia nonetheless, for 5 years and have NEVER had an overheating problem. By this point, it was 5:08PM. EIGHT MINUTES after the mechanics department closed. I tried to explain that this was an emergency and that my car was overheating so I really needed to know what they did in case they just happened to forget to plug something back in. Mistakes happen. I have worked on my own cars for 15 years, I know and completely understand that mistakes happen. However, the lady couldn't even be bothered to get off her chair and run out to see if any mechanics were still hanging around that I could talk to. EIGHT minutes after shift end. Who leaves that quickly??? They probably weren't even done washing their hands after their shift! COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS!!!! So i had to baby the car the rest of the 20 minutes home. Now here's the kicker! The car dies when it idles for more than a few seconds, so I had to keep the gas pedal pressed slightly. However, when I did that, the god damn car would overheat! imagine the NIGHTMARE. So NOT IMPRESSED! Now I either have to pay a tow truck to tow my car on a flatbed all the way to the dealership or somehow find a place around me that can pick up where they left off?

Leonard Williams

We purchased our second Subaru and Robert Migliore, Internet Sales Manager, was a GREAT help assisting us and was very knowledgeable of all the details of our new Outback. Robert and Team worked with us through the Internet sales department and made it so simple and easy to go through the car buying process. Thank you so much for all your help. Leonard & Carolyn Williams

Steve Ellis

Would not assist me with a VIN verification. Only Subarus

Bradley Pooka

Great service, couldn't be happier. If I where to recommend anything I would say if you come in and its very busy either take advantage of their shuttle service or bring a laptop or book.

Jabrien421

I took my car in at 1:00 and at 1:10 was thanked for joining the text messaging program. 40 minutes later I was called to say the tests were done (I came in for the 80k work and to have rear brakes replaced without a prior appointment) and that the car would bw ready in 2-3 hours. I called at 3 pm for a status update and they didnt even begin the work yet. Dont expect much on a walk in, apparently if you dont set an appointment, they will take the job but you better hope you dont have plans to take care of, you will be their lowest priority.

Ryan Abodeely

Not trustworthy and talk out of both sides of their mouth. Could never have a straight, honest conversation. Refinanced my car after I left the dealership because they ripped me off with a terrible rate. Saved about 1.5%!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone. A prime example of why people hate buying a car from a dealership.

Rob Lacy

Had a great experience purchasing a used car from here. The process seamless and the team at Heuberger was honest and transparent. A special thanks to Chris E. for communicating with me electronically first and having everything ready to go when I arrived from Denver.

Noel Esquibel

It was nice. Salesman was great but got really upset and snooty when we couldn't reach a deal. Slammed the kets down on the table.

Jeff Kacena

I stopped in to test drive an Outback and the sales associate, Chris England was unbelievable. So unbelievable in fact that I bought a car that very evening. The service and professionalism of this dealership is outstanding. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and I will surely be buying all of my future vehicles here.

Janae Augustine

If you want a salesman that is honest, up front with you and really can show you the ins and outside of a vehicle then Chris Preston is your guy! I didn't feel pressured at all with my purchase and didn't get the typical stressful salesman rundown. Thank you!

Matthew Allender

It was the best price for the Subaru Forester in the Denver/ Colorado Springs area. I even compared prices in other states and Heuberger had the best price. The staff was super friendly and were not trying to up sell the vehicles. I would recommend anyone looking for a Subaru to start first with Heuberger.

Emily Lutringer

Great free coffee while you wait, comfortable waiting areas, friendly helpful staff.

Saam Fakhreddin

First time getting my car serviced at hueberger. Found some issues when we got home and checked under the hood for fluids not being topped off. Went back and talked to the service manager Chris Horton. He took the time to hear me out and agreed to the issues right away. He resolved the issues and even compensated for the mistakes that were made. I was very satisfied when I left and will be back again to hueberger.Thought I could share this with everybody.

Momma p

They are nice when you BUY a car. Then worst customer service afterwards- a free coffee isn’t worth putting up with them! The service department receptionist are incredibly rude. I understand they are busy, but when they greet you with “ what do you want?” The service department -they act as if your imposing on them. They don’t call you when your car is finished for service. Totally disappointed and can not recommend this dealership.

Douglas Wilcox

Rude and often unprofessional staff since day one! Unbeknownst to me when I bought a brand new 2017 Outback it already had damage to the one of the rear struts, or something like that. When I brought it in for its first oil change, about two years ago, I was informed of the damage and then accused of getting into an accident, which caused the problem. Later it was revealed as a manufacturer flaw. I have never been in an accident in that vehicle. I called about a year back to get a tire rotation and oil change quote only to have the price jump $20-40 (before taxes) when I arrived at the service department. I was then told by a staff member that I was wrong and they would never quote me an incorrect price. The last oil change I had, I noticed staff speaking with clients in the waiting room, also getting an oil change, and being recommended or not being recommended services. I was not informed of anything during my wait; including the completion of tire and oil change. I was quoted an hour for the tire rotation and oil change but after an hour and a half, I had to approach the staff. I was then notified that the vehicle had been done for sometime. When I inquired to why I wasn't notified, the staff could not give me a reason. Also during the inquiry, I noticed one of their notes attached to my car's service history an unflattering personal statement about me. Thanks! More recently, there was a recall on my Outback and I had to call to schedule service. The woman who I spoke to was very impatient with me and very quickly stated the hours I could make an appointment with them. Since I could not understand her very fast rundown of the service hours and asked her repeatedly what she said. Finally she slowed down enough for me to write down the hours, but did it in a very disingenuous and unprofessional manner. There have been other situations but I grow tired of writing this review. I seriously cannot wait until my lease is up and we can part ways indefinitely. The Outback is a decent vehicle for the price too!

Christian Garcia

Weak sales department. The salesman Chris would easily get flustered when I would not follow his ''sales process'' (which was very opposite of how other dealers do business; Ive worked in a few and bought many cars). And he did not bother to call me or return my call the following day to see if a deal could be worked out. Unprofessional

An pe

Took our Subaru to get serviced and everyone was amazing we got a loaner vehicle and it was wonderful ! Overall our experience was amazing thank you guys!

Jeremy Silenzi

They keep taking things off of the coverage for the warranty things that were paid for in the extent warranty. They have also damaged my wife car and will not repair damage they have done. Don't give this place your money better to walk across the street to the Mazda dealership.

Greg Cannell

Very efficient and well organized.

David Greene

Had a second good experience buying a new vehicle from Heuberger Subaru. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Got a great price too.

Nathan Reed

Best place to get a Subaru in Colorado. I live an hour+ away and still came here for the best deal. Bust place though so make appointment if you can. And while you wait, take advantage of their great cafe where the drinks are free.

madhu mathew

I ended up putting a deposit down the carpet and not purchase the car. I gave my full credit card information to them at the time. They apparently were unable to give me my refund back, and I gave my credit card information to someone at their office and they probably lost his information. If they can’t keep confidential information like this, I would never trust purchasing a vehicle from them.

Magdalena Herrera

As always: great! Friendly, fast service.

Liza Cowan

I felt like Jack(salesman) actually listened to what I wanted and was just as excited as I was when I got it lol. They didn't try to push me when I said no to some of the extras which is important to me. All in all I had a very good experience with the people at Heuberger and would recommend them to my family and friends.

Tiffany Zepeda

Trying to get ahold of the service department or really anybody at this dealership is absolutely maddening. I tried to schedule for service, never once getting a real person and always a voicemail. No one calls you back for days. Then finally got service and received a voicemail about the car and again called back and was passed around to 3 different people then finally a voicemail who still wasn’t the person who called me. So frustrating. I also have a truck from Larry H Miller Toyota and have NEVER had this problem. I will never buy another car from this dealership. Way too much hassle for service which was for 2 recalls that I received in the mail.

David Wood

I visited the dealership twice, spending at least 30 minutes each time. Not one rep spoke to me either time, after multiple laps around the showroom and lot. Also, the salesman I called and left a voicemail for never returned my call. Could not be happier with the 4Runner I bought yesterday down the road.

Ryan Warner

Good service, love the cafe. 4 stars cause the idea you charge labor for an oil change is ridiculous. Still service team and management staff took care of my issues and I'm happy with how they stepped up

Andreina Aybar

Sterling is such a sweetsweet! It was a pleasure working with him. Highly recommend him for your next car ❤

Patrick Romero

I went in yesterday, spent 6 hours with Dave who is my sales man! He was awesome and patient through the sales process. Bought a 2017 GLI. I had some issues with management, but was taken care of from Dave and my car is AWESOME!

Lynn Rapp

Very honest and up front about sales. Dennis was Very pleasant to deal with.

Dottie Gray

Always great customer service! Shuttle experience was very convenient albeit the busy time.

Miki Nakasone

So we bought our Subaru STI second hand from Toyota in motor city and found out it had a bunch of recalls on it which was no big deal as it was running perfectly fine and it was super clean with no modifications. We scheduled an appointment with the Subaru dealership in motocity to get the recalls fixed. We dropped it off to get fixed yesterday and literally the very next day (today) our car (which was running perfectly fine before they "fixed" it) is overheating. When I called the dealership regarding this I was told it is just a coincidence that they had my car all day, worked on my car and now it's overheating. I find it extremely hard to believe that it is a coincidence. Thankfully we have a warranty on the car with Toyota so we will be taking it to Toyota to get it fixed. After this experience I would not recommend or trust the Subaru dealership in motorcity.

Jeff Secor

Service was good and professional. However the shuttle service was horrible. Normally all is good but today the shuttle was poor. No call back in 2 1/2 hours.

CHRISTINA C

Just bought a car right out (no financing ) from this dealership and it took them 3hours. It wasn’t a busy day. Our financing guy was snide for no reason, curt as well when we said no to the pointless added features (see review below mine) our rep claim usaa didn’t cover things we knew they did just to get us to buy the extras. Prominent families beware, we intend to just go to Denver for our next purchase and let our colleagues know. Our sale rep was a sweet guy, James, if it weren’t for our “holding fee to order the car” 1k we would have walked, it’s still not worth a 3 hour wait and rude treatment. If only there was a way to order directly from Suburu and skip the dealership we would. the reviews before us were right. Suburu is awesome but this dealership isn’t worth even doing maintenance at. It was a pushy experience to say the least.

The Keffels

Yesterday, we leased our 5th and 6th Subarus from Heuberger. We had the pleasure of working with Rick O'Donnell as our sales rep and Skyler Short for financing. Both were knowledgeable, professional and made the process so easy. We'll be back in 3 years!

chris henry

Be warned even though this is the cheapest place in town to get a Subaru the service department is consistently terrible. The epitome of a stealership! Forget bothering to schedule any service just show up they will keep the car all day regardless. The only reason I give 2 stars is because you can and absolutely should go and watch your vehicle be "worked on" if you can even call it that and that's to make sure they don't forget to put your vehicle back together. But again that's assuming you have 5 hours to sit waiting for them. The issues with this department start right at the top with the laziest service managers who don't care about the level of work their team provides at all. I have gone directly to them several times questioning the work done with no ambition to resolve the actual problems and required 4 visits for what should have been a single visit if the parts were actually ordered and correctly the first time. Edit for replying to Marshall: Marshall I appreciate your reply and seeking to resolve issues. However, I believe you are in a impossible position to resolve any issues with the service department unless you have the authority to revamp the service department. The problems that are in this service department are clear in every position which is customer facing. Yes, that means the managers, scheduling staff, service adviser's, and service techs all fail at basic customer service, reasonable repair times and quality of repair work. If you came to my business with an appointment and on arrival I told you now wait because we don't know when we can get to you actually and after a unknown timeframe we say hey we don't have the parts you need come back at another time. How would you be feeling about my business after 3 visits like this with a 4th visit awaiting to be "scheduled".

Justin Davis

We purchased our Subaru elsewhere. Then relocated to COS. Have not been as impressed with customer service at this location. On one incidence had to have some work performed- were given an estimate, the staff member stated multiple times that it was very unlikely we would get to the high end of the estimate- that was "worse case scenario"- went to pick up the car and the bill was over the estimate! With no explanation. Great waiting area, but better Subarus around

Ryan Degeare

Had the beads on my tire fall out on the highway after 18k miles on a brand new 2018 forester almost causing an accident. was told at heuberger there’s nothing they can do and I can buy a new tire even though it was manufacturer error as determined by my tow truck driver and 3rd party tire shop. factory tire warranties don’t even apply. Read the fine print and I guess get the tire warranty because they might not have put the tires on your brand new car correctly.

Maria de la Peña

I bought my Outback from Heuberger Subaru about a month ago. The experience was way better than I expected. Everything ran smoothly, there were no weird waiting time while they go "talk to the manager". The price was exactly what we expected it to be. No pushy sales in an inviting environment.

Sherry Monroe

My husband and I had a wonderful experience purchasing our new Subaru Forester. Our salesman Ivan Bonilla was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and all the features. Ivan was very ethical and honest. He was a pleasure to deal with - if you're looking for a Subaru we highly recommend Ivan at Heuberger Motors.

Christie Caplinger

Every time I come here I have to wait forever, even with an appointment! There’s always a line of cars going into the service entrance and that also takes forever. This is even before the actual waiting period for them to get your car and take it to the service bay. The actual service is fine and the coffee bar is nice, but there is absolutely no reason for it to take over 3 hours before my car is even taken to the service area. This is *with* an appointment! No one informed me it would take so long, I ended up having to take the entire afternoon off work; I was expecting a bit of a wait, sure. Over 3 hours is ridiculous. This was for a service that actually only took 15 minutes (that’s how long I saw my car being worked on in the service garage). It would’ve been nice to have known there would be such a long wait, so I could do something else with my time. Beyond irritated at this! Please do something different with how you set up your appointments and have the courtesy to tell your customers an estimated wait time. Edit: (In response to dealership comment) Yes, my car was being serviced for recall reasons. If you are having such high volume that it requires these long wait times, either schedule fewer appointments (overbooking is not the answer unless you have enough space/technicians to accommodate this) or let people know that wait times will be long. Again, I was sitting in the area in which you can see your car being worked on, and it wasn’t even pulled into the service bay until 3:50; my appointment was at 1. I didn’t get my car back until 4:30. Total service time, maybe 15 minutes. Customer service should never suffer because you have a high volume service department. I did indeed waste half of my day because I live 30 minutes away (1 hour total drive time plus a 3.5-hour wait is more than half a work day for me); I don’t appreciate the pandering tone in the response: “we know it can sometimes feel like a whole day was wasted” - are you kidding me? Trying to tell me I shouldn’t be upset instead of addressing the issue? If there were another Subaru servicer that was closer, I’d definitely go there. How would you feel if you drove 30 minutes to be ON TIME to a scheduled doctor appointment, and didn’t get seen for almost 3 hours...

The extra knowledge they impart with every transaction is definitely worth the price of admission

Bought my first new car here. Never again. Customer relations extremely poor. I also purchased the extra warranty for $2500, was promised things that it didn’t actually cover. That is flat out lying. Car developed a problem with the paint peeling off. Fought with them tooth and nail to accept responsibility to no effect. I would never buy another from these people. I’m so disappointed.

Always appreciate the service at Heuberger. Everything from drop-off to pick-up is smooth running. If you leave your car, they communicate with you through out the work. If you wait, the coffee bar is very nice!

Recently bought our second Subaru from Heuberger motors and had another exceptional experience. They have a large inventory of vehicles to chose from and excellent prices. Our salesperson, Rick O'Donnell, was professional, knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with. Both Rick and the team at Heuberger made our car buying experience easy and stress-free.

The staff is incredibly friendly and they have a great coffee bar & waiting area, however I have left their Service Center absolutely furious the last 3x I've come here. The quality of service I've received on my car has been careless, the prices for some services has been double what it should be and the wait time to complete some services has been outrageous even with an appointment set up weeks in advance. When taking my car in on a Sat. morning for a recall airbag issue in the Spring, I brought my car in around 7:30am and it was ready to go around 1-2. On my way home I noticed that my driver side air vent hadn't been installed correctly when the dashboard was put back in my car, so the vent/ac couldn't blow in my direction due to the improper angle it had been put back in. The vent still worked so no big deal, as I figured I'd just get it fixed the next time I needed an oil change (not wanting to have to come back to wait another 5-6 hours just for them to fix an issue they caused). On July 19th I went to work late on a Fri. so I could bring my car in for an oil change & to get some new windshield wipers 1st thing in the morning, while I also explained what had happened with the air vent my previous trip. I was told they would only be able to fix the vent issue that day if the guy who previously worked on it was in (thankfully he was "coming in later"). Not sure why that exact person being in mattered to fix what seemed to be an easy issue, but at least it got done. Around 11 they told me they were done and I was shocked when I saw I was charged $113 just for an oil change & new wipers. Assuming the total would be around $45-50 like it has been everywhere else I've been for the same work, I hadn't paid attention to the total before the work was done, but it was obviously too late to complain after the work had been completed and I noticed the price. While there for the oil change, they alerted me that one of my head gaskets was leaking, so I would likely need to get both head gaskets replaced. I couldn't go in late or take off work again, so the earliest on a Sat I could get an appointment was 2 weeks later (8/3) @8:30 am. When I bought my car, it was registered to my parents' address (where I was living at the time) who also have a Forester. Heuberger has always called my parents for my service appointment reminders, and me for theirs, so I made sure when making my appointment that they had my correct current address, phone # as well as that of my parents. My parents said they had also requested this info change the last time they'd been in for service. Despite having been assured my info was changed on 7/19 when making my appointment, I was called for my parents' service appointment the next week, and my parents were called this past week before my appointment on 8/3. I got my car in around 8:15 this morning, and was told that my car likely wouldn't be ready until 5, or possibly the next day (I stupidly thought they meant Sun when they meant Mon). I got a ride home from an AWESOME shuttle driver named Evan who was fantastic and very helpful. Evan told me I should expect a call around 4 to get picked up before my car would be ready. Nobody ever called me throughout the day, so I called Evan at 4:15 asking for an update. He talked to my service center rep, who said my car wouldn't be ready till Mon. I told him that I HAD to have my car by the end of the day, and he said to call my rep to see if there's anything they could do. I then called my rep, who informed me that despite me making an appointment 2 weeks prior and bringing my car in 15 minutes before my appointment time at 8:30, they hadn't even started working on my car. I now have no groceries, can't get my laundry done and will have to walk to work on Mon. I told this to my rep and was told it was too late, there was nothing he could do. Needless to say I won't be seeking anymore service here. All the free coffee & car washes in the world aren't worth the trouble had with their prices, service quality and the time taken to complete jobs. Never again.

I recently had an airbag recall fixed at Heuberger Subaru. The Subaru team and Patrick Riegle were excellent to work with. Everyone was extremely professional, competent, and friendly. I would highly recommend Heuberger Subaru.

We were very pleased with Josh Derr and our overall experience at Heuberger. Josh was very personable and professional. He was also knowledgeable about our new car and made us feel welcome to contact him if we had any questions or concerns. We are really happy with our new Forester!

Kathy Delaney

Have always had my car service there so I did not ask for the price ahead of time for a oil change without tire rotation or anything else. When I picked up my car it was $84.00 (they said price increase in Aug) and they had done away with the senior discount. I think that is very high priced for just the oil change and I will be looking for some place else to have my car serviced in the future. Larry H Miller where we take our Toyota has 3 oil changes for $99.00.
