Brought our 2014 Freightliner in for alignment cost almost 400$ got new front tires next week over $900.1st night out threw a wheel weight truck pulling to the right.brought Truck back to them to fix right , doesn't vibrate any more but still pulls to right. I guess I will have to bring it to a TA and have it done rite!!!!!

Fantastic service! Got my car in and out before the appointment time. They replaced break pads, resurfaced the rotors and replaced the calibers (which were seized up). They didn't try to upsale me on anything, which was great. Best priced in town for break pad replacement. Everyone was super nice and helpful. If you need work done I highly advise GCR.

Awesome experience! Trailer had a flat tire and was not repairable. Had to get a used Michelin virgin tire which turned out to be better than the one it had on their. Great service and fast to attend you! Even if they tell you it’s going to be awhile, they take you pretty quickly! Great prices also! It’s very well worth it! Don’t go anywhere else but with these guys!

This is my 3rd visit to this facility. The quality of the workmanship and staff is outstanding. They are honest and offer a fair value in a trade where most are deceptive. Having worked as a mechanic for 15 years, and being a consumer of tiers for 30 years I am very impressed with each of my visits to this location. Keep up the good work!

Had a bolt stuck in my back tire. Stumbled into town and pulled into the first tire shop. It was across the street from GCR Tire. We did not know which place to go to. The place across the street from GCR told us it was a three-hour wait to get a tire fixed so not having any other car and not wanting to waste 3 hours waiting for a tire to be repaired we walked over to GCR Tire across the street. The people there were top-notch and friendly. They took my truck in immediately pulled the tire off and patched it from the inside a top-notch job on my F150. Very personable talked to me the whole time. The charge was ridiculously low $15. I will definitely recommend this place over the one across the street and can tell you that I would go there again. The personnel in that shop were amongst the best I've ever met. Got me in got me out back on the road again thank you. I highly recommend this place for a speed price and friendliness.

I actually was employed by GCR tire and service in Bismarck and they had us doing some unsafe stuff as for stocking semi tires we’d stack them over 8 tires high with the potential to tip and fall on someone and all tire stacking was done by hand... I am no longer employed by GCR as their ideas and false promises are the reason I left but the main reason for my 1 star review though is during my employment there I had hit a curb with my car and had paid to have my car repaired by the mechanic employed by GCR and he is in his early to late 50s and isn’t the sharpest tool in the box anymore anyhow he did all the replacement work on the passenger front end of my car and installed a manufacturer malfunctioning strut that has actually completely broke on my car now potentially causing more damage to my vehicle I have contacted GCR and tried to have them warranty the strut out as it’s only been 3-4 months since it was installed and was flat out told NO and I feel it is a biased decision because of me no longer working there... I would like to say they are good people there but the way I have been treated makes me think otherwise and that this business is not a professional business for the Bismarck Mandan area I have even contacted HR and was told the regional manager Derek whom I have met would contact me about the warranty for the strut and I have not received any phone call so this company is based upon false lies and promises...

- Never call and say when your car is done - Don’t finish jobs completely or well - Make mistakes that require either more money or more time to redo/fix - No customer service attributes like being polite, positive, or just nice to be around. Workers want you to get in and out ASAP and don’t want to deal with you any longer than absolutely necessary (but they’ll take forever to finish your car). GCR is a terrible shop full of unprofessional workers who slack in their work and on the job. We brought in my car to get an alignment and fix the trunk. They said they’d call us once it was done, since obviously we wanted it back ASAP. Not only did they neglect to call us, but when we called them and were told my car was finished and came all the way down to pick it up, they said there had been a miscommunication and the alignment hadn’t even happened yet. And even later when they finally finished, STILL no call until we called and confirmed. Next day after getting it back, I notice it’s taking my car 3X as long to brake. We bring it back and they admit they didn’t pressurize the brakes right after checking them, and fix it for me. Again, NO CALL until I call them to find out it’s done. A week later, we go to a different mechanic who confirms that the alignment was poorly done and they failed to even notice that my struts were on the verge of failing, instead doing the alignment anyways. Now I have to pay for brand new struts AND another alignment, since replacing them requires it. Thanks GCR for horrible service and an overall atmosphere of not caring about your customers at all.

Picked up a nail on the highway and pulled off on Route 5. Googled tire repair and found GCR down the road. Tom got a technician on it right away and they were able to repair it. And the best part? I wasn't charged for the repair. Great customer service which I'll remember when we need new tires.

I used to bring my vehicle to GCR tire for all my regular maintenance and any service issue, big or small. The key word in that statement is USED to. The last two times I’ve brought my pickup in for regular maintenance or simple service issues, there were major oversghts on the part of their mechanics. The latest of which resulted in me being stranded on the highway 60 miles out of town, ruining my hunting party’s plans for the weekend. If you want the peace of mind that your vehicle is in tip top shape when you pick it up from your mechanic, GCR Tire is NOT for you.

I had them do a job expecting to pay 100. ended up being 16 and I am happy. typical small down garage in atmosphere, I am not about atmosphere and chit chat when going to get work on my vehicles. They got me in and back on the road, and billed me like a friend of the business.

Very unprofessional! Customer service is terrible. They damaged my vehicle during an oil change and would not admit it. I gave them a second chance when I needed a tire repair (which was flat again in a week) and they would not help with the issue. I tried calling their corporate office and there was no return response. Stay away from this place!

My husband and I went in to check on a tire price, both of the service guys were extremely rude and treated us like we were an annoyance for coming in to ask about purchasing tires. We left with a disgusting taste, will NEVER go back there or recommend to anyone. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but that experience gave me a horrible feeling in my gut.

My husband and I have been loyal customers here and have never had a problem, but things have changed. The mechanic did not know how he screwed up twice on our vehicle and did not want to admit to it. We had to wait an extra 3 days to pick up our car because they did not have it done when promised. The employees were rude on the phone and we were lied to about who the manager was when requesting to speak to him/her. We’ve decided to take our vehicle to another auto shop to figure out what went wrong. The mechanic told us that’s gcr was liking parts guessing because they were not knowledgeable about what went wrong at all. Will not be returning here.

Great local tire store. Decent selection inside and the right folks to get the job done. I will say that if you're looking for a specialty tire it may take a few days for them to order it in but they know their vendors well and they have a good idea how long a tire delivery will take. Just be sure to call ahead and ask any questions you might have

The team at GCR provide great service! Besides selling and installing tires, they also do mechanical repairs and oil changes. They are very knowledgeable and professional and are good about completing things when promised. And their rates are very reasonable. When they fix things, it gets done right the first time!
