- Never call and say when your car is done
- Don’t finish jobs completely or well
- Make mistakes that require either more money or more time to redo/fix
- No customer service attributes like being polite, positive, or just nice to be around. Workers want you to get in and out ASAP and don’t want to deal with you any longer than absolutely necessary (but they’ll take forever to finish your car).
GCR is a terrible shop full of unprofessional workers who slack in their work and on the job.
We brought in my car to get an alignment and fix the trunk. They said they’d call us once it was done, since obviously we wanted it back ASAP. Not only did they neglect to call us, but when we called them and were told my car was finished and came all the way down to pick it up, they said there had been a miscommunication and the alignment hadn’t even happened yet. And even later when they finally finished, STILL no call until we called and confirmed.
Next day after getting it back, I notice it’s taking my car 3X as long to brake. We bring it back and they admit they didn’t pressurize the brakes right after checking them, and fix it for me. Again, NO CALL until I call them to find out it’s done.
A week later, we go to a different mechanic who confirms that the alignment was poorly done and they failed to even notice that my struts were on the verge of failing, instead doing the alignment anyways. Now I have to pay for brand new struts AND another alignment, since replacing them requires it.
Thanks GCR for horrible service and an overall atmosphere of not caring about your customers at all.
