If you want to wait in a NON air conditioned JOKE of a waiting Room in the desert and Leave with tool marks on your rims and weights that are glued on on top of old then come to AMERICAS TIRE DEPOT. And their solution was for me to come down and if the scratches were deep enough they would paint over them.

Excellent customer service! Very helpful got me the BFG Tires I NEED when every where else basically told me stories, and made excuses. The folks at American Tire Depot in Yucca Valley stand behind their work. Despite my lack of expertise in Tires beyond knowing what works with my older P/U they handled my trouble respectfully, made the adjustment quickly and I was back on the road. Been going there since 2004 or 2005 for everything except factory warranty work. .... but everything else. these guys are hard working, friendly and always very easy to talk to. Will go back as long as I continue to live in LA. Also their pricing beats dealers by lots.

Short version...Liars who will try to scam you and rip you off. Go to Discount Tire Depot across the street. Long version...I went in for an oil change and inspection. I already knew I needed an air filter but they told me my rear brakes are gone. My rotors are hot spotted and warped and my entire braking system needed to be flushed. I was surprised. They quoted me $450! I guess because I just got off of work and was wearing my suit, they assumed I had money and didn't know anything about cars. Luckily I worked in an auto shop for a year. I asked if the rotors could be turned. The guy looked at me surprised and said no. Not once did they take me back to show me the damage. I replied by saying no thank you. Go ahead and bring me my car, I'm pretty sure the brakes will be fine for four days until my weekend. I took my car to Discount Tire Depot across the street. At Discount Tires they show you what's wrong with your car and treat you with respect. Honesty and integrity is how I would describe my experience at Discount Tires. They treat you like family and like they want to help you. I'll finish up by saying yes, I needed rear brakes but my rotors were fine. They just needed to be turned. After all was said and done I paid $170. Now that was a price that sounded correct. Please, for the love of all things, do not go to American Tire Depot. They will take advantage of you. Period!

The reason I always have to take my car down the hill I called to get a price for compressing springs on shocks that were already off the car guy didn't didn't ask any details about my car & quoted me 65$ & mind you this was the manager! Then I called an American tire depot down the hill 20$.quote after they asked make and model. I called back Yucca Valley American Tire Depot asking to speak to a district manger only then did they decide to hear me out. I let them do the 1 shock, but I refuse to go back their & as I'm leaving I overheard the ridiculous quote they were trying to charge an old couple for a BMW thankfully they passed. Will not return. Terrible manager at least the other employees were good. AVOID THIS PLACE.

My fiancé and I have had some bad experiences with other Autoshops but the guys here at American tire know what they are doing, they are kind and understanding and most importantly their only going to charge you for what you need. their pricing is very fair. Bill and Gary are very hands on managers and will talk to customers if you want them to, and they do it in a way you can understand.

Told the guy what tires I came in for. He responded by insulting my car without knowing it was turbocharged and trying to tell me what kind of tires I needed as I was trying to talk. The total was 450. Went somewhere else, got a higher speed rating (W), and that total was 250. P.s. I'd slap the shhh out of that know it all guy at the front service desk if he ever tried to tell me what my car needed again. Ive completed automotive classes in college. I probably know better than he does. Don't let them up charge you!

This place is amazing! This is my second time here. I had a flat, due to my driving on the tire while flat for quite a distance, I ruined it completely. This resulted in me needing a new tire and due to size issues I decided to have both rear wheels replaced. It was not an expense I really had the time or money for, but these guys were amazing. They gave me an excellent deal on the tires and got me in and out in no time. The first time I went was an equally great experience. I've been to other places that were extremely rude and talked down to me, but here they have always been friendly and more than helpful for my tire needs. I will definately continue to use their services!

I am putting only 1 star because I don't have a lot of confidence in them fixing the problems. I went in for new tires and an oil change for a reasonable price and paid $820.00. And only $52 of that was for the oil change I didn't get. I also had to purchase a $155.00 battery because mine couldn't be jumped. I have had this on goi g problem with my battery for over a year. There are many details that are sketchy and suspiscious. To many to detail. So I will repost these comments after i find out if they will help and how that turns out. I am hopeful. Though it sounds as if I'm not. I look forward to changing my review and adding another 3 stars. We shall see.

We have used this location for new tires. We also have gotten tires rotated. Upp. Driving they would vibrate. We took it back and we were taken care of promptly. Customer service has always been excellent . I always be recommend them. Tires Pros is hard to ever get in even though. I got tires for other car their they always want you to leave the car and come back to rotate tires.

Dropped off ONE wheel, already taken off the car at approx 10 am. The guy at the counter said "they would start it right now" the shop seemed slow at this time. Instead of waiting I came back at about 2:00, 4 hours later. Stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting for somebody to come in from the back. A very unprofessional employee told me the wait would be another hour. I called back at about 3:30, get put on hold for 8 minutes to find out they still have not started it. I understand appointments and customers sitting in the lobby etc, but after 6 and a half hours they still haven't STARTED one tire? I've been coming here since American tire came to yucca valley, the employees they used to have were much better. I'll go back to Fred's or discount tire. Never coming here again.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very disappointed on how the staff “handled” the situation. Rude and unprofessional. Wanted to apply for the promotion that was spend more then this certain amount and qualify for $100.. apparently their system “was down “ and couldn’t do anything about it. We then ask if after the system is back up if we can apply and he said”oh I can try but no promises”. After the mechanic came back saying we ordered the wrong size tires when he had already taken off my tires to replace them. So we would have to reorder. when we drove off we heard a weird noise as if the tires were flat. We got off and checked and none of the tires had Valve caps. We went back and said we wanted them back and that also our tires sounded differently. The guy gave us nothing but attitude. No apologies or nothing . The guy in the front even said The Valve Caps aren’t important. THEY CLEARLY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. SERIOUSLY MAKE THE EXTRA 30 MINUTE DRIVE TO PALMS SPRINGS. NOT WORTH IT.

Service is slow. I purchased an alignment at the time of the purchase of 4 new tires less than a year ago. I went to have the tires rotated and asked them to check the alignment. They said "The alignment was way out of whack." At the time of purchase I was told the alignment will be covered for the life of the tires or 3 years. They did NOT honor there warranty. I asked why not and they said whoever sold it to me lied and that they would not honor his word.

I came in on Saturday, late afternoon expecting to be told to come back on Monday or given some exorbitant price but I was totally surprised. Great price, great service, and in and out within an hour. You have no idea how many times I've heard people at the big store on the other end of town complaining about the hours and hours they've waited to get a tire changed. Cesar's genuine cordial and helpful attitude was the difference between just getting a tire quote and buying 5 tires and an alignment. Cesar was more than competitive with prices and actually put me on a set of tires that I like better than the ones I came to buy. My truck was a difficult installation as I had lost my wheel key :( but they were very helpful anyway. Highly recommend visiting here to get a quote before buying online.

Bought 5 new tires at American Tire Depot in Yucca Valley for a trailer. Dealt with Gary and Frank primarily. Both of them were courteous, helpful, and went out of their way to be of assistance. I only had a few days to accomplish the mission of tire replacement and these guys got the tires in time for me to accomplish my goal. They were helpful in a manner that gave me great confidence. I had asked for my truck tires to be checked and filled prior to my picking the trailer/truck up. This did not happen, but staff on hand when I picked the unit up made sure it happened. Thank you Bill. I really appreciate these guys and will return when my other vehicles need tires.

I don't ever do reviews online but these guys are AWESOME! It is more on expensive side but they match lowest costs for tires, offer great deals whenever they can, which is more often than not, and provide great costumer service. Although they sell tires, and have a huge variety of them, they do sooo much more! Everything from putting on new tires and alignments to installing new breaks and fixing basically anything thats broken...i have yet to hear them say they can't do something to a costumer. If parts are needed that they dont already have there, they are usually there next day which is the best when it comes to car needs! Chris has always been our sales guy and he's helpful and just superb. And Mike and the guys in the back are great. They all know their stuff and offer advice and generally if you ask them to check something extra out, while they're putting on tires or something, they will hook you up like no other! They go above and beyond for the costumers and are the best of anyone we've been to! Thanks American Tire Depot, wish more shops were as helpful and accommodating as y'all are! (I get nothing for this review...they've just helped me out so much and made my ride so much safer for my 4 month old and I and i am very thankful for it!)

I love this place after getting my car back from my daughter that had it for several years it was in a bad condition. I came here to start the process of restoring it. Each time I had work done I got an itemized statement, their prices were fare, Ken answers questions and made me feel comfortable, and the work was excellent; i have not experienced any problems with the work. I have not gone anywhere else since for car repairs because i feel that I'm not being cheated in any way. Being a part of the military for over 25 years I have come across some places that took advantage of the military spouse, that has not been the case here. This place is military friendly and safe for that wife who's husband is deployed. Thank you

DO NOT GO HERE. Changing my review from 5 star to 1 star due to unethical business practices, and blatantly not doing the work I paid for. Last summer I spent quite a bit of money on preventive maintenance, that includes getting my belts replaced, new spark plugs, having my fuel system cleaned, tires swapped out, etc. Well, I knew something was fishy when I went back for another set of maintenance 6 weeks after that and they suggested yet another fuel system cleaning as mine was apparently dirty. I told them to take a look at their logs as they had just done that, and got the response of "Oh whoops." After that I took it to another mechanic. That mechanic said it didn't seem my spark plugs had been changed. Then today I lost ALL power to my steering wheel while driving and couldn't turn, fortunately this didn't happen on my daily commute down the grade. Come to find out they NEVER replaced my belts, they were nearly disintegrated when I've only put 15k miles on my car since they were "replaced." I will never return to this place due to their poor practices and will be filing a complaint with ATD.

I Came here after I set at big o tires for an hour and a half for my 0800 appointment with nobody in the lobby. I was told to be there at 0800 so I will be in and out quickly. Where no other place within 100 miles has my tire size in stock this place did. And for what every other place ( and i checked at least 35 places) had priced me for just the tires 1350 average i got here for roughly 1300 but also what the others didn't include : an alignment, nitrogen, install, balancing, and 3 year roadside protection. I know they get alot of negative reviews however it is a good running shop. They might need a visit from the owner to "tighten" up the staff again, as there qoute of 20-30 minutes, is more like hours, because everyone goofs off to much. I went to this location and bought 4 brand new tires and same day my tire light came on flashing so I called they had me bring it back in...ok cool but all the did is clear the code gave me the car back said ok fixed. DOWN the road it pops back on go back to the store a day or two later and they clear the code again instead of actually looking at the sensor to fixed the problem after they worked on all 4 tires and owning up to the mistake and fixing it instead of just trying to clear it and get rid of the customer

Great tire prices, but expensive mounting. They got me 4 tires for the price of 3... which were already bargain- priced, way cool.... but then, without asking for any input other than my vehicle specifics, charged me $53 per tire to install. I was thinking about renegotiating the mounting fees, but when i inspected the pre-paid tires, which were not the brand i was expecting, canceled the deal. So... way low tire pricing, but watch the add-ones for mounting. The most egregious were the $7 nitrogen and $15 per tire road hazard i had not been given a chance to accept our decline.

Best prices in town and honest. I am a mechanic and know if shops are BSing me, they have never tried to screw me. I always plan on leaving my cars and getting a ride home, it's the only way to get tires replaced. They always call me way before closing time. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I have 5 vehicles that will only get tires from Tire Depot!!

Don’t waste your money at this place. Very unprofessional and they overcharge you. I paid over 900$ for service I could’ve gotten a lot cheaper at a different location. They couldn’t even balance my tires properly, had to go to discount tires to get the issue resolved.

Horrible business. Took the car in for a break job because our mechanic was busy that day. Not only did they overcharge for the break job they lied to my wife about the condition of the vehicle. After inspecting the vehicle at home I noticed that the air filter was taken apart and not put back together and one of the Axel boots had been picked at and damaged. Never take your vehicle to these guys.
