Best customer service Ive had in San Pedro, not only did Omar give me the best service he also explained to me step by step and showed me what I needed. While I was there I saw how other customers left happy with the services these techs did to there cars. Will be coming back for future recommendations and I will definitely recommend family and friends to this shop. Five stars well deserved.

Omar, Jimmy, and Victor were GREAT!!! I could totally see how they worked EFFECTIVELY as a TEAM to help me out. Every step of the process was clearly communicated. Omar was kind enough to even answer my boyfriend's questions over the phone as well. EVERYONE (the staff mentioned above) was very welcoming and gladly demonstrated the areas that needed work. Friendly staff great customer service. Detailed inspection (free) which I was included in viewing step by step. Provided a detailed receipt if issues (even if I didn't get fixed) . parking is limited if you have a following party. They also have a payment option that I thought was a nice choice for bigger purchases.

If they think they're adding to their reputation by ignoring customers them when they drive up to the shop and leave them unacknowledged when they're well aware of their presence, then they are clueless and strongly need to get better training on customer service, be aware that there's plenty of other tire shops down the street...took my business to Rolling Tires and Wheels where it was welcomed and gave them a tip

I can tell he doesn't care about making business because of his body language and the way he ignores you and just wants your car keys with money. I do not recommend this place due to his ignorance. Needed front brake pads replaced. I brought my own to save a few bucks, and I had already checked the rotors —they looked good. They tried to up-sell me on turning the rotors, I said I’d drive it a mile home and bring it back the next morning if it really needed it. I was very polite about it. The rep was very rude. When he asked me if I wanted my old parts I started to reply “no that’s ok, I already took a look at them—“ he interrupted me and said “That’s not what I asked you. Do you want your old parts or not!” Wow. I took my car to another shop this morning for another opinion. This mechanic confirmed the rotors were fine but the calipers had not been lubed when the pads were replaced, the rear tire valve was broken, tire going flat, and my front tire had both a cheap emergency roadside patch AND a nail in it. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. $80 for 15 mins of work and they didn’t do the minimum of lubing when they replaced the pads or bother to check the tires. The guy was so mad I didn’t go for the up-charge it makes me question if they damaged my front and rear tires on purpose to make me come back.

The guy behind the counter must hate his life or job.. or both ... His customer service is absolutely terrible.... Aside from that I Walked in to set up an appointment for an alignment... They told me it's be 3 hours so I go home... Rest... Then return for the alignment ... Before I even finish opening the door all the way the cashier tells me ... "Our machine arm is broken so we can't align your car ... Try somewhere else... It's now 4:10 pm and everywhere else I called is obviously too busy to take my car... If the machine was broken ... Why couldn't they have called and given me a heads up to head somewhere else in time?

[UPDATE] Eddie called me back and told me what happened, so I went back and got the new tires. He also did alignment check. So, I recommend this place. --- I made an appointment for 8 am the day before and got there 7 to 8. The shop wasn't open. I waited till 8:10 and left. I could hear the phone ringing inside but it went unanswered. Maybe they are good folks and provide good service. But sorry, they lost my business.

Went in for a simple oil change at 5:30 pm because of a coupon I found online. While I was there Edward was so great with showing me the issues with my car. Most mechanics will just tell you whats wrong to try to get you to pay more and its scary to trust them however Edward brought me into the shop where my car was up on jacks and pointed out everything he could see and told me the prices to fix them and then proceeded to just educate me on everything. The thing I respected most was he didnt push anything on me and his demeanor wasnt to try and get me to fix everything right then and there, it was simply just to inform me of the things I may or may not know of.. Even told me a simpler/cheaper way to fix my key fob which is a service he doesnt even do. They really go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and I would definitely recommend people here. I was treated just like family and the atomosphere they have there is surly a positive one. Thanks American Tire Depot and special thanks to you Edward!

These guys helped me out in a jam. Got a flat on western near a tire shop. I rolled into their lot at 6:02 and that tire shop told me they close at 6pm (as they were still working on cars). I rolled with a flat down to these guys on pacific and I pulled in was immediately greeted and taken care of. Even though the previous tire shop kept my wheel lock these guys had the right one and helped me out. Fast, professional and understanding. I would have been stuck without them. 5 stars for sure Thank you!

Update, from 5 stars to 4 because I wrote this before my car was completely finished .. there were greesy dirty fingerprint s left all over my rims, and on the inside of my cars door near the window. Everything else was great, but after just having my car detailed the previous day, least they could have done was wipe off their prints off my clean white car. This is not what I expected for the amount of money I spent. The guys were just trying to get out of there right at the closing time, if they had walked me to my car I would have said something. The service I got today was excellent; Edward showed me the best possible deals. I came in for a free brake inspection, and estimate for new tires.. and because the customer service was so great, and I felt so comfortable, I'm leaving with brand new front brakes, resurfaced roters, 4 new TOYO tires w/ 60k mile warranty, and alignment. Best part is, I paid nothing because I qualified for $0/0% interest when paid within 6 months! Highly recommended, if you drive a lot like I do, affordable, and I even qualify for a $100 rebate on the tires! It took about an hour and half.. and is a local small business, so people looking to support their community business, stop by.. it's not to be confused with America's tires, this is American* Tires All of the gentleman who work there are great!

All the gentleman who work here are always courteous. I bought 4 tires from here a few years ago and have returned many times for tire rotations. I hit a pothole and dented my rim. My tire needed to be replaced and it was covered with my warranty I purchased. There was a small fee but worth it. Everyone is always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

These guy's are AWESOME. Last week I was across the street at O'Rielys auto parts, looking for a battery for my Chevy Van. It turned out that my starter was bad, not the battery or alternator. So I walked across the street to American Tire depot and spoke to Jimmy. He said, sure we can change out your starter, let find one for you. Well it was going to be late in the day before they could get one, so he asked me to go back and check at O'Rielys for one, and sure enough they had one in stock. Then I called AAA to have my van towed to ATD from O'Rielys and that is when Jimmy said lets just push the van across the street and we can get started on the repair right away. So Jimmy, Victor and myself pushed the van into ATD parking lot and before you know it, Victor was telling me it's fixed. I will recommend these guy's for anything, Thank You very much Jimmy & crew. -Bob.

There right now with a flat. Ended up seeing for myself that the other tires needed to be changed. Ernest was the guy at the front desk who helped me. Very nice guy, and knew his stuff. I wanted to buy 4 new BF Goodrich ($50 rebate) and he got me interested in a Toyo Extensa tire (which I looked up to make sure right in front of him), and it checked out. He also told me I'll get a $60 rebate instead of $50 and I think he hooked me up w a Military discount of a few bucks because I am active duty. Jimmy is the technician who fixed my tires and he literally stopped what he was doing and immediately went to fixing my van tires. Everyone here was NORMAL. What I mean is, with what I do for a living in the Military, I am always trying to figure out if people are lying to me, being fake, and getting a quick read of people around me. These guys are normal joes trying to make a living. They are not extra nice or extra weird, just perfectly normal and I LOVE that. To add to this and their level of care and honesty, they came inside and took me out and showed me that one of the back tires was basically new. He GAVE me an old rim with the good tire and said I should keep that as a spare. Then, as if that wasn't enough, Ernest showed me the rebate for $60 off, took the time to show me how to do it, and showed me how it works. Then he asked me how many kids I have and said I can also get 4 free tickets to a go-cart track in LA that my kids have wanted to go to for a long time. At one point he couldn't find the promo at first and said that if it was over he would just take $60 off the tires. Very nice man. This place makes me feel like Pedro still has hope. This place gives you that 1960's feel that Pedro is supposed to give. Good job American Tire Depot! I was worried because of places like Johnnies Auto Clinic, but this place is good. I am only speaking for the tires and not any other part of this place because I didn't use those services. - I will say however, as EVERYONE will agree with me, that the only negative thing about this place, that they can't control, is that I had to fork over almost $500 bones. I hate that. It is what it is though.

These guys are great! I came in with my Audi and they could not find the master key. The tire guys helped me as best he could. Ultimately I had to go back to Audi to get the locks changed. In the meantime ATD kept my tires and waited for me to return. In an hour I was done and my car was perfect. They are reasonably priced and have great deals! Never going to the dealership after this.

I just moved to this area and needed a new tire. I value honesty and competence and this place gave the impression of neither. The rim was cracked and they wouldn't order just one (insisting I needed to order 4). They also forgot to return the tire spanner. Also they broke the latch off my trunk and didn't tell me. I prefer to make the drive and go to my usual place (American's Tire Store... in no way affiliated with these goofs).

Frank was the supervisor who help me out on everything and all the special deals they had there he was very helpful friendly very talkative cheerful and just made me feel welcome to be there Ryan was the technician who fixed my car with the Alignment putting on the new tires with my brakes and also with my old change but most of all what I liked about Ryan is that they close at six and he stayed after to still fix my car with no questions asked didn’t bother him that he had to stay late He took his time on my car and never rushed through any repairs he did to my vehicle So I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely go back for any service I need done to my vehicle again
