My 97 Toyota land cruiser recently had a blow out on my rear passenger Dunlop tire. I called H & R and spoke with Harold on my dad's recommendation and I’m glad I did. I needed 5 tires since the spare rotates and Harold recommended the general grabber HTS, he gave me a price quote under his competitors, hooked me up with a 70 dollar rebate and get this; even changed out a broken wheel stud and lug nut, only charging me 2 bucks for the part. The tires ended up perfect after I got it back; quiet ride, no more vibration; my wife and I feel better about hauling our kids around. Harold and the H& R crew are awesome, dad was right….. my truck ended up in good hands.

These guys are pitiful. After a change of brake pads they didn't tighten one of my wheels back properly and failed to put the proper amount of air in my one of my tires. Had a wheel come loose and fall off. Because of these jokers i had to replace lug studs and a tire after buying new ones. I even gave them the benefit of a doubt and went back. Still they replaced a tire and didn't add the proper tire pressure. 2 hours on average i waited just to get a tire mounted. Only to have them mess it up TWICE! I will not use them ever again. Slow , not very friendly service and poor workmanship. From my experience, the only thing these guys do well is order tires. At least they got that much right. So disappointing.

Poor Service / Not Concerned About Your Car They don't provide printouts of Alignment unless you ask (Never heard of this before). After alignment they told me to come back next week and they would provide a printout of finished measurements. Don't know if alignment was causing tire issues without pre-alignment measurements. When I asked for my keys they said they were in the ignition. I found my vehicle in the parking lot next to a busy road with the windows down and the keys in the ignition. Thankfully no one drove away in my vehicle and hopefully no one took anything out of it. Finally, looking at the mileage, someone used it to run an errand.

I WILL NOT BE BACK AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND H&R TO ANYONE. I arrived with a nail in my tire to have it removed and patched if needed. My vehicle was taken in the back. 10 minutes later it was returned to me and I was told I was lucky because the nail did not fully penetrate. I drove home to discover the nail was STILL in my tire. I took it to another tire shop to have the tire repaired. The nail had in fact penetrated. Lazy, horrible service at H&R. Nails are not safe to continually drive on.

Have spent close to $2500 there over the past 6 months. The latest, was my '06 F-150 needing spark plugs. If you are not aware they are a nightmare on this year of the F-150's. Most of them break while trying to remove them. Quoted a price for the time it usually takes....well it ended up taking them a little over 8 hrs to complete the job. They stuck to their original quote without even a hint of a hassle. Could have been more than double what they actually charged me. Excellent, honest car shop. Hard to come by!!!

I was in Arkansas (from Minnesota) for my grandmother's funeral. On the way home from a special Girl Scout tribute to my Grandma, my tire was torn up by a crazy mutant rock. I was supposed to be leaving the next morning at 7am to return to Minnesota, but I was not going to try to drive 700 miles on my spare! I woke up the next morning and thought briefly about going to Walmart to get a new tire, but thought better of it and blindly pulled up to H&R Tire & Auto. I am so glad I did. Harry squeezed me in right away, apologetically confirmed that my tire was not repairable, and got my Subaru tired up and ready in less than an hour. The tire cost was reasonable and everyone was friendly and helpful. Thanks, H&R for helping me in my time of need!

Took my truck in and asked for an alignment. When I arrived at the shop later that day they told me “no charge”. My first reaction was “hey that’s awesome thanks!” Just to be disappointed by the list of “problems” I had. They said I needed a new lower ball joint, which I had replaced along with the upper control arms a month prior. It seemed as if they just parked my truck in a different spot and didn’t bother to touch it. My tires were still angled and unaligned, not very pleased with the result. The people inside are very kind though.

Used to be great..Now they're TERRIBLE..Too many screw yours to list..seriously..also my girlfriends grandma had the same experience after years of using them..We're all donegoing there..picture this..a 93 year old v woman leaves her car there to get it dialed for a long trip to Chicago..told them to "go through it and make it road trip ready" they have it to her 3 days later and said you're good to go..no charge which we thought was very strange..it turns out they didn't touch it..Tires needed replaced..brakes were metal on metal..radiator was leaking..and didn't even change the oil..all this work had to be performed at a random shop IN CHICAGO!! It was absolutely Negligent and a sweet 93 year old lady add her great grandchildren could have been hurt..Or Worse!! I ask you: Would you take YOUR GRANDMA'S vehicle to them??? I didn't even go into how they completely messed up my car..MULTIPLE TIMES!!! WE WON'T GO BACK..EVER

I took my car in to get the front brake pads replaced, the oil changed and to fix a tail light. These guys did it quickly and for a great price. They even took my car to the gas station and put some fuel in for me. I'll be taking my car here for any and all maintenance required from now on.

Took a tire there to get it repaired. The owner was super helpful, I told him I was on my lunch break and I could swing back by after work. They were super busy (full parking lot and bay full of cars), so he told me it'd take a while for them to look at it and figure if they could repair it or I needed a replacement. He called me in about 2 hours and said they'd repaired it successfully. I went back after work and picked up my repaired tire and it's working perfectly. They charged me about half or less of what I was expecting. All of the staff was super polite and friendly. 10/10 will be using their services again!

Been buying tires from Harold and Randy (H&R) for 20+ years and have always been a satisfied customer. I have not used them for other automotive work so do not have any info on that arena. But for tires you can't do better.
