On a Friday afternoon I was camped at the Grand Canyon and my starter on my van quit working. I called Sandovals because they had good reviews. Because it was Friday afternoon Alfredo said he might not be able to fix it before Monday. Because my van is set up to travel in and is self contained I could park in the large grassy area behind the shop. It was a safe quiet place to spend the night. The next morning Alfredo replaced the starter and I was on the road again. Thank you Alfredo! The bill was very reasonable. I would recommend this shop.

Found a roofing nail that was causing a slow leak. Took the car to Sandoval and asked them to plug it. I was on the road again in less than 30 minutes. Expected to pay $20 or more; out the door for $10. Very nice treatment for a tourist from Alabama that needed a little help. I recommend them!

Hit a big pot hole on I-40 and ended up with a huge bubble on the sidewall of my tire. Came to Sandoval's and the guy tried to sell me a cheapo Fuzion brand tire with 50k mile warranty for nearly $200! Luckily I know my tires and realized that was outrageous. The mechanic's explanation was that "things are more expensive around here". Needless to say I left. I then spoke to some locals in town and they told me Sandoval's has a reputation for ripping people off (go figure) and pointed me in the direction of JJ's Auto Repair about away. I got to JJ's and was greeted by a mechanic who looked at my car and quickly quoted me a price of $118 for a Laufenn (Hankook brand) tire with 65k mile warranty! The price was totally fair so I went ahead and replaced both my front tires which happened to be worn down to the tread indicators. All in all I was out of there in 20 minutes with a set of 2 new 65k mile warranty tires for $290 (would've cost me nearly $400 at Sandoval's). Avoid Sandoval's and spend your money at a mechanic with integrity like JJ's.

Was able to leave our car there on a Sunday night and they called us first thing monday morning with an astonishingly reasonable quote for the work. I researched the parts they were using and the markups were very very low, if at all!!! In addition, they were able to fix everything in one day! I was really impressed to say the least, most places try and sell you loads of junk you don't need but they didn't mention a thing, just did what I asked and did it for a great price! Thank you very much!

Beware!! They are not trained mechanics,they had it for 2 weeks I paid $1800 for repairs that never needed to be done, they couldn't figure out what was wrong, but they did the unneccessary work so I legally had to pay, I would have been money ahead renting a uhaul and towing it to the next town instead I towed it home and had the dealer fix it. BEWARE!! Oh yea the happy lady, she probably just had a flat and got taken I seen something similiar their where they tried to convince a couple to replace all their nearly brand new high-end tires on their car because there was a defect on one, if you have to you replace them replace 2 from the front or the back 2, but he told them he recommended replacing all because the one tire had a defect that I couldn't see.

My husband had a flat tire on our work trailer, a week ago, got an amazing deal, after trying to sale us a new tire that wasn't the same size as the others. Thank God my husband caught that and gave us a used tore for $50. We just lost another tire near there again, my husband drove 45 min to go to them again. I called and the lady was rude. My husband got there 30 min past 6 and was charged $250 for a used tire. They have definitely lost our business and we do 100,000's $ of work there direction yearly, we will definitely not be stopping here again!!

This letter was written by Kimberly Walker, Kingman Az. I am writing this letter to tell you how pleased I was with my experience at your Tire Shop. On our way to the Grand Canyon Friday May 18th, my daughter and I had a major blow out on our tire. When your tow truck driver arrived, his first question was to make sure we were okay. He then directed us to an area of safety while he winched the car onto the tow truck. During the ride into Williams, your driver was polite and shared a good sense of humor, as well as asking questions about where we were headed. When he pulled up into the tire shop yard, he assisted myself and my daughter out of the truck so we didn't lose our balance. Each person we spoke to while we were there was polite, nice, courteous, and helpful. Each person treated us like we were visiting family they hadn't seen in several years. Had it not been for the lack of southern accents, I would have assumed I was back in my hometown in KY. The mechanic was helpful and knowledgeable and explained that I needed not just one new tire, but because of the condition of my other tires that I needed 4 new tires, to make sure we would be safe on the road. In addition, because my daughter is from Flagstaff and I am from Kingman, we were given the "locals" discount, which saved us quite a bit of money. Even though the blowout was scary and frightening, from the moment the tow truck driver arrived until we left ( with directions), we were treated with kindness and courtesy and respect. This turned our "oh no"! into a wonderful start to our vacation! I cannot say how much we appreciated your assistance in this matter and I have shared my story with my friends and family. In the future, if we are in Williams, we will stop in to use your convenience store! I am also including a copy of this letter to both the Williams Chamber of Commerce and to the AAA Roadside assistance. I want to make sure people know how fabulous you are! I was in Williams for a short time during the month if April. My indicator for my Tire pressure light was lit. I stopped by Sandoval's to ask if I could use their air compressor to inflate my tires on my Ford Transit Van, They did not have any customers at the time, but the gentleman said go right ahead. The air indicator on their compressor was a very accurate pressure gauge. I was I had one tire that was extremely low. But I was able to top it off, and check the others which were also a little low. (The warning light on the van went out immediately.) Then the barometric pressure changed due to a rain storm, and I needed to come back a second time, warning light again. Same tire was still a little low. The employee at Sandoval's said go right ahead. Very polite, his young son was there with him, and said sure, go ahead. He was about 7 years old. Great experience, and not like most shops that charge you for air or water. Thank you Sandoval's

Just want to give a shout out to JP for a job well done. Needing 5 new 14 ply tires for my 5th wheel, spoke with JP who was very knowledgeable and there to assist me and my needs. Spoke to JP on a Tuesday about my needs and made an appointment for Thursday at 10 am to have the tires installed. Arrived an hour early and had no wait. All 5 tires installed and on my way by 10:30 am. These folk and the service they proved is top notch. JP was the person I had the most contact with and praise him the most, but he also had 2 other guys there that were on top of their game as well. Chuckie and Peewee are quality guys as well! Any time I am in the area and need anything, you all will be my go to garage. Next visit, we will go and have a beer, or any other drink on me! I wish I could give you guys 100 stars, but it won't let me. Just know you guys are top notch, and I will send anyone in the area your way if I can. Thank you so much for a job well done and for making me feel welcome, as well and making my home on wheels safe for myself and my family!

I stopped by the shop in a moment of crisis. I needed help in getting my wheelchair repaired, and could not find anyone else in the town who would lend a hand. These guys did. Multiple guys stepped in, and even though none of them had ever worked on a wheelchair before, patiently examined the problem and found a solution. Even though it was an unusual circumstance, they wouldn't even accept payment for their fixing my chair. I am forever grateful for their willingness to help me out.

I was very impressed with the service and integrity of the Sandoval crew. Here I was, on a Sunday, in the middle of nowhere, with a tire that wouldn't hold air. I was prepared to buy a new tire for my motor home. After a thorough inspection, it was determined that the problem was leaky valve stem extensions. They checked and removed all the leaky valve stems, replacing the one on the spare, and only charged me $30.00! They could have certainly taken advantage of me and sold me a tire that I didn't need. Great experience at Sandoval's Auto Repair! We were worried when we had car problems while passing through this small town, but the mechanic found the problem quickly and fixed it for a reasonable price. Free drinks and TV while we waited at the attached convenience store. Highly recommend!

The mechanics name is Chris. I called in and spoke with him. The website and the mechanic said they were open until 5 pm. We arrive by 2:30 pm after having spoken with Chris, he stated he was waiting on us to come in to fix our tires. Upon arriving on time at 2:30 pm, his shop helper made us aware that Chris left the shop early and the helper refused to fix our tire because he wanted to close up shop 3 hours early! Now we are stranded without a means to get home. We wish a small town business would take care of its community better.

Excellent service! We had a flat tire a couple days prior in OK that I brought in for repair. JP took care of it right away. He also noticed deterioration and some cap separation on our other tires and advised to have a new set of tires installed. After thinking about it and realizing we had a long haul back to NY, we decided to get the new set. JP and Chris teamed up and had us back on the road in no time at all. Great service and advice. And...no more tire problems on the way home! The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was that the tire price was a bit higher than online prices. But, it was tourist season and I was in need. That being said, we were very happy with the experience and the excellent service. Thank you JP and Chris.

My tire went too low due to cold weather so I asked them to add some air for my car. The staffs are very unfriendly and arrogant. After they've helped me(and I tipped them 10 bucks) I found out the tire pressure was 40 while the recommended tire pressure was 30 so I asked them about it, those bastards was too lazy to make it right so they lied to me about the tire pressure saying it was OK to have 40 instead of 30. After a few days of driving, the tires was flat on my way back home! Please if you guys need to get your tires done, go somewhere else instead of this store!!!

These guys were absolutely amazing. Chuckie helped us when we had a catastrophic failure on the front tire of our motorhome. They didn't have our size or make of tire but we ended up buying 6 new tires. They worked on us immmediaty and replaced all our tires for a fair price. JP and Chuckie made sure that everything was done correctly and also dealt with us in a calm, courteous and professional manner. They made what could have been the most tragic date of our motorhoming career have a positive ending. Thanks so much.

We were driving to the Grand Canyon from Buckeye Az, with our 35ft 5th wheel trailer we knew we needed new tires but figured we could make the round trip back home. Well we got a blow out and it being Sunday no tires shops were open. I put the spare tire on and started looking up tire shops and found that Sandoval's tire shop was open. I called and spoke with Chuckie and he said they have the tires I needed in stock. We headed that way and he replaced all 4 tires and gave us a good deal. His customer service was outstanding. Thanks Chuckie and Sandoval's tire and Auto Repair.

We stopped for gas and when I returned from the restroom, someone from Sandoval's was circling my car. They said that I needed new tires. I said I'd get them when I got home. Another guy from Sandoval's came over and said the my tires were ready to blow and went on and on and pointed out a truck nearby with a blown tire and said very rudely that I should think of them when my tires blew. What a bunch of fear-mongering predators. I made it home just fine.
