Went there to repair leaking tire in my car. Was charged little over 18$ for it. I asked when getting my change at the cash register : "Did you check air pressure in the three other tires?" The answer was priceless: "No! You didn't ask for it!" And then the guy turn his back on me. Never going back there. No wonder I was the single customer all the time when waiting for my vehicle.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. DISHONEST. SHADY. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES.... THEY WILL SELL YOU MORE THAN YOU NEED AT A HORRIBLE PRICE!!!! Allow me to tell my story with Firestone on 401 E Broadway. So my brother takes his vehicle here, because he's experiencing some vibrations at high speeds in his somewhat newer vehicle. I (living about 90 miles away) advise that he take it into a shop to get looked at. I told him over the phone that it sounded like the signs of a bad wheel bearing. My brother takes his vehicle in to this Firestone on 401 E Broadway, and based on service adviser "Teddy's" recommendation, he ends up purchasing two new front tires and an alignment (the alignment isn't even included in the purchase of two tires, it's an additional $80 charge on the bill). So they install the two new front tires and do alignment. Hand my brother the bill. It's over $400 (they sold him on some wiper blades as well, typical upsell at these types of places). After paying the bill and driving the car back home my brother notices the vibration at high speeds is still present. He calls me to let me know what's happened and that he's still experiencing the problem. I said I told you I thought it was a bad wheel bearing, they didn't say anything about it? He says nope. So he calls Firestone back to say hey my original issue has not been resolved. SO GUESS WHAT!! They say okay bring your car back in it probably needs two new tires in the rear. ARE YOU SERIOUS. My brother calls me to tell me the news. I told my brother DO NOT take you car back to this Firestone. I will look at it. So he drives the car 90 miles to me so I can look at the car. I test drove it. There is clearly a vibration coming from the FRONT of the car. Anyone who's ever turned a wrench on a vehicle would say that's probably a bad wheel bearing. He took it to another shop by me and his car was almost immediately diagnosed with a bad front wheel bearing and fixed immediately with no run around. Problem gone. The guys at Firestone were clearly trying to pull a fast one on my brother, who was relying completely on the service adviser's recommendations. My guess is they were planning on installing the 4 new tires (AND alignment) that he didn't need AND THEN replace the wheel bearing, probably costing well over $1500, when the original problem could have been fixed for a fraction of the price. TAKE YOUR CAR TO AN HONEST MECHANIC. END RANT.

If you value your time, go elsewhere. Close to 2 hours of wait just for an oil change. And the place was pretty much empty since it was really early, like ~7am. I had 1 or 2 customers in front of me and they took 2 hours to do a simple oil change. I can understand maybe 1 hour max if they are busy, but over that is ridiculous. I've been going here for oil changes for the past 2-3 years and never have I received such poor service. I do keep seeing different faces which means there's probably quite a lot of turn over. I will definitely not be back. I would continually see the 3-4 techs just congregating, laughing and chatting and not doing much, which likely explains why everything took forever, even a simple oil change. Further, they are liars. I had a coupon from them I got in the mail for the oil change, which was your basic $19.99 standard oil change. Showed them the coupon upfront, they took it and when I was ready to play gave me this bs that the coupon was actually a mail-in rebate, and that I had to pay like $35 + plus tax, and I would get a rebate in the mail. To this day a month later have not received anything in mail except more Firestone "coupons" (which I now just throw in the trash.) I would have argued but they had already made me an hour late for work, so I paid and left never to return.

WORST PLACE ive ever been for repair service. NOT ONLY are they unknowledgeable about the repairs they are preforming but lack general knowledge on the workings of a car. I had to come back three times to get the job done ... was practically told i was making up issues cuz they couldnt replicate the issue and finally left unsatisfied with a car that runs worse then when I first bright it to this place. I was visiting from out of town when my car started giving me problems, when I searched on google maps the closest location that could help me it was this store that popped up. If I am being completely honest the reviews made me think twice but I had no choice. Well from the moment I arrived to the moment I left it was a GREAT, the service manager Andy was very attentive and helpful as well as the staff, I had zero complaint. Came here in December '18 to get an oil change and they discovered 3 of my tires were splitting due to a defect in the tires(recalled). The 3 were changed but the 4th wasn't showing an issue at the time. Came in on 5/29 and discovered the 4th tire was having the same issue. Made an appointment for 6/1 to have it changed. At time of appt. the tire wasn't in stock. I was advised they would get the tire today and call me when it came and to "limit my driving because the tire was split." No phone call. When I called to get an update I was told it wouldn't be in until the next day. The manager doesn't like people to finish there sentences and continually cut me off on the phone. He then offered a tire they had in stock(first time hearing about it). There will be a complaint filed with corporate

Took my Jeep here today to get an alignment after adding an adjustable track bar. The Jeep had driven about ten miles in the month before, as i had added a lift kit and wanted to get it aligned before putting many miles on it. An hour or so after i dropped it off, they called saying they suspected the steering box was busted and therefore it could not be aligned. I am fine with this, as they may not usually service 4wd vehicles and i know that my steering box was in good condition before the lift kit one month ago, so i decided to take the Jeep to a more 4x4-friendly shop later on, and was not mad about that at all. However, when i went to get back in my Jeep, the door would not shut. They did not mention this to me until i came to borrow a screwdriver to try to fix it, and the door has worked fine for the three years ive owned it. The man at the desk mentioned that the person working on it had had trouble with it from the start, but i know that it was fine before they touched it. I was angry enough that i finally tied my door shut with a rag and left.

Take-Away: 1) we feel as though this firestone will create problems on your car just to get money out of you. 2)Won’t correct their own mistakes 3) Does not have your interest at heart! Story: We took our car to this firestone (new castle de) about 2 weeks ago from this post. So many things went wrong: first of all we went in only to get a complete car package done for the car, which cost $9.99 and that’s all, but when we got there they had did an oil change, blew out a new head light bulb that was working before we dropped it off. When my spouse got there to pick up the car they basically told him there was nothing they could do. After reluctantly paying so we can get the car keys, we end up calling to speak to the manager. The person who answered the phone was not the manager, but we explained our situation and Conveniently he said the manager was not there and then hung up on us while we were still talking. How rude and unprofessional!

Had a very bad experience and do not recommend this place. I went in for repair of a flat tire and they said I had nails on that tire and I paid the $21 required fee. One week later I saw an air pressure problem again on the very same tire. I took it back to them and they charged me again saying this was a "NEW" nail on the "SAME TIRE" and that I am driving through some construction site( there is no construction site anywhere near where I live or work). I live with 4 roommates and we all work for Micron and take the same route everyday and no one got a flat tire except me.What are the odds that only my car and the same tire got another nail within 7 days? On the other hand what guarantees they did not find that nail in the tire the first time I took it over. Who would you give the benefit of doubt if you were a business owner? Very unprofessional and I will not go back there again ever or recommend them to anyone. Trust is a big factor for business and they lost that.

I have been a loyal customer of the Southington, CT Firestone store for the past 15 years. After my recent experience I will not be returning and I will be strongly advising others to choose another service facility. I had my rear brakes replaced by Firestone and was given a cost breakdown of all of the parts and labor that would be required for the job. When I received my bill it was substantially higher then I was originally told. I was never informed that the cost was going to increase while I sat in the waiting room for hours. I had to return to Firestone because the new brakes were making a very loud grinding noise and it didn't sound like it was safe to continue driving. I took the car back and they took a few hours checking the brakes and they couldn't figure out what the issue was. They decided to put some grease on some of the brake hardware and amazingly the noise went away...for about a month. I called Firestone on 11/12/18 (Mon) to make an appointment to have my breaks checked again because they are still making a loud grinding noise and the break job is covered under Firestone's warranty. I made an appointment for 11/18/18 (sun) at 9am. Sunday morning comes and I'm the first one in the door. I had to have my wife and my three kids follow me there because the Firestone employee I spoke with when I made the appointment requested that leave the car so they have adequate time to properly fix the breaks as he knew I have been there a few times for this issue and it is still unresolved. I get up the desk to hand the service manager Dennis my keys, only to be rudely told that whoever I spoke with on 11/12/18 never entered my appointment into their system. He then told me that he has a lot of cars and that he most likely couldn't get to my car but he would try. I left my car in hopes that maybe a miracle would happen and Firestone would come through and take care of a good customer who did everything right on their end. But no, they didn't touch my car and the service manager had a very rude and unfriendly demeanor when I returned to pick up my car that sat in their parking lot for almost 8 hours untouched. I got the impression that the service manager either didn't believe that I had actually made an appointment prior or that he just didn't care. I returned to this location yesterday 12/2/18 in hopes of rectifying my break issue. I dealt with the service manager Dennis once again. And again I was talked down to, given an attitude and his excuse for his demeanor was that he was “short staffed”. A technician looked at my brakes that they had previously installed and took my car for a test drive. The technician heard the loud grinding noise I brought the car in for. Dennis proceeded to tell me that he didn’t know what the issue was as everything looked fine. I explained to him that there is clearly an issue and that the work is warrantied for 12k miles / 1 year as stated by Firestone warranty policy. Dennis reluctantly and rudely agreed to replace the brake drums. I explained to him this was fine as long as I were to receive the same brake drums that I had installed by Firestone originally. When I originally had Firestone do my brakes, I had them order brake drums that were rust resistant and I told Dennis this. Dennis assured me that I would get the same brake drums. Fast forward about an hour, Dennis calls me and says that the part number for the brake drums on my original receipt don’t match the drums they originally put on my car?! I told him that I’m not sure how to explain that as Firestone ordered the brake drums, installed them and wrote up the receipt. I explained to Dennis that whatever the issue is as to why the part numbers don’t match, that this isn’t my fault or problem. Dennis refused to work with me, and was completely unprofessional in both of my experiences dealing with him. When I was in the waiting room, I spoke with multiple customers and they agreed that they have seen a fast decline in the service and professionalism in this particular location. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR & GO ANYWHERE ELSE!

This location does a decent job of keeping repair costs low. Some recommendations are purely by mileage and not by condition or wear so being knowledgeable is helpful to avoid the over the top suggestions. Prices for labor are a bit cheaper than the dealer but not by a significant amount. Staff is friendly enough and you know them pushing services is a corporate push for sales numbers not a personal suggestion. Like any repair place ask plenty of questions and if it is not an immediate safety need or a functional item that gets you home get a second opinion (looking at all you with bald tires).

I will never visit this tire store again. I came in for a routine fix for my flat tire and they took at least two hours to complete and then couldn't tell me which tire had been replaced, and didn't put the spare tire back--they just threw it in the bed of my truck. I had to ask specifically for them to put it back and they slowly and begrudgingly did. Terrible terrible communication and customer service throughout my experience.

Horrible and Gross! They put on brakes for me back in August, 2017. The front end of my car started making horrible noises. Called to see if I could come in, the representative told me if I made it there before 4:00, I could be seen. He then says I would have to drop it off. I declined. I asked when is the next available time, he said he didn't know. I immediately hung up. Why in the heck do you want me to drop off my car, when I can WAIT for it??? The folks at this location are incompetent, unprofessional, and just plain fools. They fix your car, and when it messes up, they want to take forever to fix it. To make matters worse, have you noticed that NOW they always want you to drop your car off???? And if you do, the majority of the time they will come back with MORE problems that need to be fixed!!! I have a firestone credit card with a huge credit limit, but I refuse to let these jerks fix my car again and charge outrageous charges. I went to a guy in the same area, and within 20 minutes, he fixed the issue.

Relatively new to the Boise area, I have been taking my vehicles here for the past couple of years - mostly out of convenience of location of the Broadway shop. After my last visit, I will certainly never come back. I had a power steering leak, and knew roughly where it was coming from - I could have done it myself, but being as busy as I am, I thought I would put back into the economy and have the leisure of a professional exchange of goods and services. Aubrey, however, decided that she would give me a whole laundry list of items to replace, and told me it would be over $1000. "But this includes an oil change as well!" she said. 'Great', I thought, 'something that I can do for $20. What a great deal!' I had her list all the parts, their cost, and the cost for labor over the phone. Comparing them to parts online, she over-charged each part easily 200%, and was charging me about $500 in labor, to change a part that would have taken any experienced mechanic less than an hour. I told her over the phone that I cannot afford that, is there any way to do the important things only? I asked which one of those parts was actually leaking. She told me 'all of them' ... Well that is interesting. All these parts starting leaking together? I found out shortly after that only one of the parts actually needed to be replaced, and that if I did it myself it would cost ~$50. I know that Aubrey knew this, and purposefully over-charged me. So I paid $60 to have them look at my car for about 10 minutes - that is how long it took for me to drop off the car, and have Aubrey call me with the $1000 quote. I would have gladly given a couple hundred bucks for them to replace this $50 part. But instead, Aubrey chose to try and gouge me. Likely a lot of people would have trusted her, and would have been swindled. I am not sure what is in it for her, as the manager of a chain, but if this is the business model of Firestone, I will be telling everyone I know to avoid it at all costs (pun intended).

I bought tires at this location in March of 2015 and have been having a little trouble as of late (apparently my car is a magnet for rogue nails). When I went a few months ago, they found I had a nail in my tire and repaired it but didn't offer much more info, which I didn't press because I was on my way out of town and was in a bit of a hurry so the service was satisfactory. When I went in today, the atmosphere was clearly different and I was cheerfully greeted by Andy when I walked in. Andy listened, took a look at my car and tires and let me know what I needed and why. I was told the service would take an hour and I was out in under an hour. I am glad the company saw a need for change in management and made it. This location is definitely a go to for me. Thanks to Andy and the crew!

Took my car in Saturday morning thinking It was my master cylinder, the guy told me it would cost over $800.00 dollars to repair it because I needed to have 1 brake replaced on the back drivers side etc etc... after doing my own research and contacting the dealership about my car, I immediately picked up my car from Firestone before they could rip me off... I took it to the dealership , all I needed was brake fluid because it was low.. didn’t need brakes or anything Firestone said I did.. clearly they have crooked guys working there who try to take advantage of women because they think we’re clueless and will believe anything they tell us. very bad experience... went there for getting my tires changed, the representative there was insisting of adding the road hazard to my plan, which i didnt wanted and on the top, when they returned my car, its Check Engine light turned on...... i inquired but he was insisting that it was there since he took the car over. I just tighten the Fuel Cap and the light went off ........ they must have done it on purpose so that i get my engine checked by them and pay them money to just tighten the fuel cap.

So, I've had a few issues here; for one, they've done my alignment several times, yet it still feels so off. Another is I feel as though j have to repeat myself a couple times, as I have requested a certain service, and it went undone or unchecked. Otherwise, this is an okay place and staff has always been nice. There's a decent waiting area for usually low wait times. I like how it's open 7 days a week! One of the only shops that does that. I got my new tires here and not they make a difference. Overall a good shop, there's just areas that could use improving.

This is long-winded, but please read everything. I went in for an alignment on 4/6/2018, I have the Lifetime Alignment Service. When finished the Tech mentioned to me that the eccentric(cam) bolt was stripped from the last Tech, therefore making it difficult to get into spec. Eccentric bolts only strip if abused. My car is religiously maintained and not neglected, plus Firestone on Broadway has performed all of my alignments since 2016. After the Tech spoke to the manager, Audrey, claiming that the damage was done by them she said thatthey would fix the problem only because I was whining and complaining too much. If a shop damages your vechicle they must make good, correct? I was told by Audrey that they would contact me when the part arrived. After a few weeks I called for an update only to be told by Audrey, Manager of Firestone, that she could not find the part number from Mitsubishi. She is very unprofessional. Finally on 5/23/2018(6 weeks and 5 days after being told they would fix their mistake) I spoke to Dan. He said I could come in on the 24th. Well, it turns out they the Tech did not just strip the eccentric bolt, but he damaged my subframe. I tried speaking to Audrey to resolve the problem and was given even more attitude than usual from her, once again extremely unprofessional. I was basically told by Audrey that the problem was mine. Given no other choice, that same day I called Firestone HQ and started a claim with Shane(5/24/2018). On 5/25/2018 Gill Leon called me requesting that I get an estimate from Mitsubishi for the repair. Which I did on the 5/25/2018 and emailed him the results($1,600). Mitsubishi stated that the damage occures when a Tech tightens the eccentric bolt without checking that it is in place first. Gil Leon replied to that email stating that he would get back to me on or around Tuesday after Memorial Day. On 5/31/2018 I sent Gil Leon an other email. On 6/7/2018 after no word I called HQ and spoke to Shane again, who put an alert on Gil Leon to contact me with an update. On 6/18/2018 and still no word. I called HQ again and spoke to Brian who put another alert on the Supervisor to Gil Leon, David Verde. I also left a message and emailed David Verde on 6/18/2018. Today is 6/25/2018 and still no update from Firestone. I must say since Audrey has taken over managerial duties at Broadway that the service has gone downhill quickly. My first experience with her was her badmouthing Boise and Idaho. Commenting that the state and its people are subpar and that it was much better in Beaverton, OR and Los Angles, CA. That she hates living in Boise. Why move then?

I made a noon appointment for 2 tires and let them know I needed to be out of there by 2:30pm to go to work. They got the tires on my car quickly, in less than an hour, but we had a miscommunication and the wrong tire was changed. I came back inside and let the gentleman who checked me out know about that. I assume he was the manager, because he immediately offered to fix the mistake by putting a 3rd tire on my car for free. I thought they would just put the old tire back on, so I was very happy with the customer service I received. It was annoying to have to wait for about another 20 minutes, but the free tire more than made up for that!

Disappointing experience, I called in to get a nail removed and was told it's gonna take 1.5 hours ("for a puncture repair"??? Never heard of such a time frame... Like who are you kidding???) so I got there 5pm 2.22.2016 showed a guy named T** a picture, straight up said "they can't fix it" and he said we usually replace tires with that kind of puncture. I even asked "can u please look at it and try?" And got the same answer. So i left, knowing I've had worst nail puncture location from my previous cars and Firestone on chapel hills mall fixed it no problem... Ended up going at 530 to les Schwab who closes at 6pm checked me in no problem and fixed my tire and told me that the puncture was way far from being unrepairable and left at 545pm. If you guys want to earn people's business, look at the problem in person and not just predict without giving it a try. u just lost business from me and people I know... Poor customer service.. Oh, and I have before and after picture.

Pathetic scammers. I brought my vehicle to this place to get an inspection to potentially drive for Uber. I spent $20 for the inspection. Okay, that's fine. What wasn't fine was the fact that they refused to pass my vehicle unless I replaced my tires-this surprised me since the tires are only about 1.5 years old with minimal to moderate mileage. I almost pulled the trigger and just paid for them so I could get passed. However, thankfully, I used better judgement and got my car inspected somewhere else. Btw, my car passed with flying colors. The irony is that I would have gotten 4 new tires anyway (which I recently did somewhere else) just because I planned on driving a lot in the next several months. However, since they tried to scam me into it I walked away. Dishonesty catches up to everyone. If this place is this shady for a simple Uber car inspection I can't imagine how bad they would be on something more serious. I'd strongly recommend against using this company for anything.

SCAM, I had a $250 tire installed and had it for 150 miles and the tire was damaged. Took it to them and had the road hazard. They told me 44% of the tire had been worn and they wanted $120 to replace it. Don't go here!

Payed for an Engine diagnostic $100, which is fine. They told me the distributor cap and rotor we're broken as well as spark plugs and that the fix would be $450. I authorize that, and then they call me again telling me the actual distributor is broken, and that the parts plus labor on that would be another $550. That sounded shady, so I found the part else where for $60 and had it installed for $95 for a grand total of $160. Long story short, if you're on a budget, these guys will not only try to squeeze every penny out of you, but also are incompentent when it comes to paid diagnostics, trying to force me to spend over $1000 for my car. Take your car elsewhere.

Almost 4 months ago I had a simple leak on front brake line. So I decided to stop by thinking this would be a rather simple repair. One of the mechanics came out and took a look at the car. I showed him where the leak was at. Let me preface this by saying I'm not a certified mechanic, but I've worked on brakes for years. When I got back into the office a mere 30 feet away. The mechanic and the Mgr discussed what was wrong just out of ear shot from me. In his assessment he listed a myriad of things from a ceased piston on a caliber (which by the was only for months old) to a list of others which included my original complaint came out to an almost a $500.00 bill. I guess the Mgr heard the tone of my voice along with the sarcasm when I questioned the assessment along with the price. He tried to bless me with a $300.00 to $400.00 amount. I told him that was ridiculous being his guy never so much as loosened a lug nut to truly assess the problem. I grabbed my keys and went over the Advance Auto store bought some brake fluid and went back home. The next day I went to my usual mechanic and for less than $100.00 both brake lines were replaced. All the other equipment was just fine. I did call the regional office and file a complaint. This event was very reminiscent of a previous issue with another store of theirs 25 years earlier. Just shows you the people may change but game doesn't. NEW CASTLE RESIDENTS BEWARE!!! I would give zero stars but unfortunately you can't, but 5 stars for the attempted con.

I have been going to this location for 3 years for my winter/summer tire changeover. My experience in the past was always excellent but today was horrible. First they gave me a hassle about leaving my tires overnight, a call to the manager cleared that up. Then after we had all the tires unloaded for both cars they told me that the charge would be $40, we have always paid $20. I tried to tell the service rep and he didn't seem to care and just said "oh we have a new manager." So I guess the new manager doesn't care about keeping customers, I have always referred friends and family to this location but you lost that referral over $20. To top the whole thing off when they went to swap one of the cars they told us that a lug was damaged because it was on too tight... when they were the last people to swap the tires! UPDATE: The mechanics at this location actually damaged 5 studs on one car, and 1 stud on the other car. After reaching out to their customer support it seemed like something was going to happen, but they just stopped responding and I haven't heard back.

Short story- don't go here unless you're willing to wait around and not even get what you asked for! Yesterday I made an appointment online to get my oil changed. I went in and the staff tried to tell me that he didn't see my appointment in the computer. When I pulled it up on my phone, he said that they were short 3 staff. He rescheduled me for today and gave me a 4.84$ discount. I understand when staff call in sick so that was no big deal. I go in today and the staff takes me keys. My vehicle is visible from where I was sitting. After an hour of waiting they still hadn't taken my vehicle in the back. I asked how much longer it was going to take and the guy looked at me stupidly like he forgot I was there. 25 min later he brought me the keys and didn't even apologize about the wait. To top it off they forgot to pull the codes for me and said that the mechanic was trying to hurry because I was waiting. Then he changed his story, saying that the code reader was broken. Not professional at all. Won't go here again!

Was in town moving my son who is stationed at Keesler AFB. We drove from NC and his tires were literally falling off the vehicle due to bad rims. All 4 rims needed replacing and Firestone was very patient and my son ended up finding 4 rims with tires on craigslist and Firestone balanced them and installed for us. We had work done and they suggested we also get an oil change which was fine . We did not give consent for synthetic oil to be used which was about $75 more. They also changed the wiper blades which we certainly did not give consent for and we had just changed them anyway. The next time we were quoted $600 plus but when they were done it was $800 plus. They had again done extra work that was not authorized. They would also not arbitrate their doing unauthorized work and insisted on being paid what they charged, authorized or not. I will not use them again for sure.

They replaced my rear brake pads. Price was fair, service was average, both of my back wheels wobbling a week later as I was getting off the Eagle exit with my 5 yr old in the back was bad. I called, and they don’t have a voicemail option, so I went to Les Schwab first thing the next morning and had them tighten the lug nuts, then drove to Firestone. The secretary guy wasn’t sure what to say, but did accept that they made a big mistake. I’m sure I was a rare mistake, but it could have been a huge one.

The service is great, the warranty is also great. Their wifi is really slow, my cell phone's speed is faster. I am a car guy, the only time a mechanic touches my cars, is if I don't have to equipment at home, like to do a wheel alignment. This is one of 3 places I would take my car in Idaho. Is not like they have to have wifi, but if they do, it should be faster so a computer could at least open the Google home page.

Thank you for being honest! I recently got a nail in one of my truck tires ( middle of the thread). I stopped at another place to try and get it fixed. The guy who inspected the tire advised that my tires needed to be replaced, since he could see little cracks on the tire's tread, he further advised that they could not fix the flat tire, but was fast to try to try and get my tires replaced. I left that store and drove to the Firestone on 1820 N Pebble Creek Pkwyparkway Goodyear AZ. They fixed my tire. I then asked them what it would cost to replace all four tires. I was advised that all of my tires had plenty of life left and did not need to be replaced. I then advised them of what I was previously told. He once again confirmed with me that my tires had plenty of life left. Thanks again Lee for being honest.

$800 + dollars in 4 new tires, call and tell them I have a terrible bounce when I drive over 60 and they can't get me in for 4 days to see about the problem. Took to Firestone store at Barry Road and 169 Hwy, all 4 tires were out of balance. Problem fixed and the bounce is gone. Barry road store said they would call Antioch store and tell them their machine is messed up, bet Antioch store does not call all their customers and tell them they need to come back in and have their wheels rebalanced after machine is fixed.

I had good news & bad news with regards to car repairs/needs and they took care of it all and at an affordable price. No ethics! I was headed to a meeting when I got a flat tire. Did a quick google search for nearby tire repair places. Unfortunately this place came up. When I arrived, via tow truck, it took about 30 minutes to get in. Once in the bad news was the tire could not be repaired. I have an AWD that I purchased with new tires only 7 months previous. The hole was in the flat of the tread NOT in the side wall. The technician brought in the tire stating I had driven to far on the tire when it went flat. I drove about 1/2 mile before I pulled over. But looking the tire no threads showing and I could still see the manufacturing groves on the inside. Of course I was then told (because I have an AWD) a new set would need to be purchased at the tune of $500. What!?! I started making phone calls looking for a place that carried my tires. I called locally owned "small time" Tire King here in town. Tire King stated they could match the tread they do it all the time. Once I arrived Tire King looked at the tire and said no reason that tire couldn't be repaired. Tire King repaired my tire I drove back across town makingFiirestone remount the tire. While the tire was being remounted the front desk tech Still attempted to sell me Firestone Services. Really!?! They try to trick me into buying a new set of tires (the tech knew I was aware of what he had done) and still try to get me to buy Firestone services . I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone needing car services. Lack of ethics and using a persons troubles to make a large purchase they probably can't afford or are distressed enough to not make a good purchase decision really makes me wonder how this place is still open.

I went to get a lifetime warranty for front end alignment and the Firestone check was telling me I need parts I don't need I just installed other brand new within a few months old I took it to a Certified mechanic to have them inspect the items that I was told I needed and I was told I didn't need those items and what I needed was completely different from what they told me and they didn't detect The parts I really did need also this is the second time I have went there and they have tummy I need part that I didn't need it they're just trying to make money and rip the public off don't trust him at all and I have been to several Firestone locations told me the same thing

This place has been the worst experience I've ever recieved from an automotive shop I bought 4 new tires here and drove away with excessive vibration shaking my hood my seats and my nerves I've been back 4 times with nothing but excuses each time until I took it to a trusted tire shop I know and they're the ones that told me and showed me the problem it was defective tires and it cost me 50 bucks that firestone wouldn't honor paying me back but I am now passing the 3 hour mark waiting still for 2 tires to be replaced when all they've done is inconvience me every time I've went there I will never buy another service from them and buyer beware of the shop on Howard ave. You will find plenty of excuses there and its been over an hour since I drove by seeing my truck inside so how long does it take for 2 tires to be replaced when in fact the real tire shop that shown me the problem they've tried to cover up too less than 1 hour to pull all 4 rebalance plus found errors in tires I just don't get it worst experience EVER!!

I went yesterday to do the tire rotation and wheel alignment on my car. It took me about 2 hrs to get the service done. I am satisfied with the service provided by the gentleman who checked in my car and also by the gentleman who check it out. I took my jeep in because my tires were riding rough and figured I would get an oil change while I was at it. I appreciate them driving it around to make sure nothing major was wrong. However, my oil change ended up being $51. My jeep has less thank 46k miles on it but they decided to upgrade my service to a "high milage oil change" without my permission. I didn't argue about it because other people were waiting and I really didn't have time to argue during my lunch break. Never was I even asked what kind of oil change I wanted. EDIT: I complained to customer service and the gentleman I orginally spoke to the previous day called and appologized. It ended up being a miscommunication on their end, which they happily made right.

I honestly never review places but I had such a pleasurable experience today while being helped by Adam at the front desk.they were able to not only address all the issues on my vehicle which there were several but they were able to get it done in a timely manner extremely under my budget. I would highly recommend the shop to anybody who needs help with anything related to their car. I had originally posted: Best Firestone Ever! and gave them 5 stars. However, I had an interesting experience yesterday. If this were anybody else they probably would have freaked out and immediately gave these guys one Star. I had an appointment for new tires and an alignment. They have been servicing my 3+ vehicles for the past year and I had zero issues with this store. I liked going there because they have always done the job right and performed expertly in customer service. Until yesterday. It took 3 hours for my vehicle to get new tires put on it and they attempted to complete an alignment even though I had a scheduled appointment. The vehicle I had serviced is unique. There excuse was they did not have a qualified technician available to do the alignment. Once again, I had a scheduled appointment and they know my vehicles well. They asked me to come back the next day when someone who could do the alignment would be available. I went back the next day and they said they could not do it because no one was available to do the alignment… At this point in time I have wasted 4 hours of my time and I had to take off work to try it get this done… twice. I called back to the store and talked to the person who oversaw the shop for that shift. He has always been a nice guy and knows me ‘or at least’ my vehicles. The other staff members that I have interacted with even through this ordeal were all very professional and accommodating. However, I later called back to try to schedule a second appointment and my third visit to try and get this all taken care of fixed. I sat on hold for 10 minutes. While I was on hold, I got to looking at the wheels and one of the rear wheels was on front and one of the front wheels was rear. Granted it’s a little hard to see this as there is only a difference of recess ‘lip; of about ½ an inch between the front and rear and the tires are the exact same size front and back... but there is a difference. I hung up after 10 minutes and decided to that I am done with this store. I will go to one of the other stores and have my alignment completed and the tires switched around to where they are correct. It seems like there is a tremendous lack of organization that has only started recently at this location. I personally feel like the focus was on the new sale ‘the tires’ and not the already paid for yearly alignment. So, focus is on sales and not the of quality of work or scheduling the correct people to be available. Service goes hand in hand with sales. I'm not just paying for tires or an alignment I'm paying for the service of getting my vehicle done correctly when it is scheduled to be done. I will take my money elsewhere from now on. I have spent a pretty good amount of my money for the basic services that I trust places like this to provide and I was happy up until now. I have always been and will always be a very accommodating customer and I do understand how busy all these people are in their day to day work. I have been there, and stuff like this is something happens. You cannot always get it right. I just feel like this store has been mismanaged or they need more people to get the job done.

Three of the four tires they sold me were already five years old and by law could not be sold? They told me this after I waited for 3 hours and was ready to pay for them ? I was told I would get 4 tires and an alignment for an agreed price that was not true they tried to charge me an additional $70 to make a minor adjustment. Out of a total of 7 tires that were put on my vehicle in 48 hours the tire pressure ranged from 35 to 45 lb? they damaged the bolts holding on my center caps. At the end of the day after saving for three weeks I do have four brand new Firestone Destination 2 all-terrain tires but I never did get the alignment and would never take my vehicle back to that shop again.

I had a weird issue with my car on 691 West bound at 2:00pm Saturday. It started slowing down and I pulled over to the side of the road shut engine off. The car would not start back up. NOT EVEN turn over...yet all the power options worked. I called Firestone and spoke with the manager Chad to verify their hours and asked if I could have AAA tow me to the shop. (They close at 6pm but were open Sunday - this was important because I had to have the car fixed by Monday at the latest) Chad listened patiently as I described my problem. He reassured me they would look at the car and determine what they could do, and if they could not fix it then what I could expect in terms of a repair process for another shop. AAA was HORRIBLE. Sent someone out with truck that only did battery service NO TOW! So all this guy had was a battery pack to test my battery and the jump car. He did not even have a new battery! Apparently, AAA call center said AAA no longer does roadside batteries? SMH. Anyway, the guy hooked the pack up wrong; even I knew it was wrong because I have seen it used on other cars before. I asked if if he was sure he knew what he was to doing. This seemed to annoy him. At this point he told me my battery was fully charged and my starter needed to be replaced. He turned to l eave and said "good luck it is going to be a very long wait now" and left! I now had to wait all over again! I called Firestone again and explained the issue. Once more, Chad was very reassuring and stated that someone would stay later if necessary to evaluate my car once it got there. AAA finally dropped me at Firestone at 4:30pm! Yes, it took them 2.5 hrs to get me off the highway! I arrived at Firestone frustrated. The crew that greeted me was very understanding. I have not been into a "big box" automotive facility that did not try to up sell or pressure you for a commitment to costly work or that talked down to you when you declined the work. NONE OF THAT HAPPENED at this Firestone!!! It was a breath of fresh air. The waiting area was spotless and comfortable. The crew members that were moving in/out were very pleasant and welcoming. they were busy. Yet, my car was attended to almost immediately. While waiting several of the customers and I struck up conversations about how this experience was pleasant and not what we had expected. While I was there I observed other customers who were there for basic oil changes, new tires, or engine sensor issues. All of the people seemed pleased with the way they were treated and with the cost of their service. I watched as all left smiling and thanked the crew member that had done the work and they also thanked Chad. Then Chad and 2 crew members approached me smiling. My first thought was "ugh they are trying to soften the blow" BOY WAS I WRONG. Instead, turns out AAA service guy was WRONG. He did not know how to properly test a battery. Chad said my battery was fully charged in terms of voltage but that it did not have sufficient cranking amps to turn over. Chad said as soon as the tech put the pack on the car they were able to get it started. However, it was the original battery on a 2005 car. They explained everything to me in a very respectful manner in easy understandable terms. They quickly installed my new battery. While the battery was a bit pricey (I drive a Mercedes) it came with a 6 yr warranty. While I had all that time on the side of the highway I was on the internet researching prices on batteries. the battery for my particular model is expensive and the Firestone battery was comparable to what I saw online. So, they did not price gouge/take advantage of me while I was in a bad situation. This overall experience was perhaps one of the best experiences I have had with a retail automotive place. I felt respected and treated fairly. I will go back to this particular Firestone again even for routine maintenance. I will be sending my friends, family, and colleagues their direction as well. Thank you Chad and the rest of the Southington Firestone crew!

Had my f250 serviced there and a few days after I had my suv serviced.. the suv was the worst trip ever.. I had a 9am appointment which I was about 15 mins late for (which was 100% my fault , just got stationed here and got a little lost) so I come in and luke seemed super irritated that I was late.. he was super unfriendly, told me to sign a paper , didn't let go of the paper so I can properly write my signature and right after I finished writing the e to my last name he snatched the paper and told me to sit down. He was extremely Rude !! So long story short it took firestone 2 hours to complete an oil change...then they got oil on my car rugs not the Mats because i don't have any , my actual rugs have big footprints of oil and oil marks... and they didn't even put a sticker to say when my next oil change is ... we won't be back to firestone and we will be closing our credit card with them... we'll take all of our business to meineke.

I set up an appointment for new tires using the website. I picked the tires and the appointment was confirmed. Developed a hole in our tire driving south on 295 on Sunday morning in Jersey. We were losing air fast. This store came up on Google maps 5 minutes away. I called to let them know we were on our way. I visited this location this past Sunday 11/2/18 to get my tires changed over. I was not satisfied with the customer service during my visit. The service manager named Dennis was not pleasant to deal with. He was very short when talking with me and he was basically arguing with me over the pricing which I found to be quite unprofessional. I also witnessed Dennis being rude to other customers while I was in the waiting room that day. I plan on taking my business elsewhere and I suggest others due the same to avoid the aggravation I was subjected to.

I took my car in to fix a leak in the coolant system because my car was overheating. Instead of actually fixing the issue I was asking to be solved they proceeded to tell me all the things that were wrong with my car and basically said they couldn’t help because it would be “pointless”. Obviously I knew there were issues with my car because I can’t afford to fix everything wrong with it but they could have at least offered a better solution instead of throwing a huge quote at me. They also charged me $20 for the inspection when any other shop would have done it for free. Greedy and a complete waste of time.

I've never had any trouble with them. I brought my car in with some "issues" that another service center said were issues, and they said it was fine. Another time they were about to make a mistake with the oil viscosity that I caught, and they gave me the premium change for the cost of the cheap change - and with the discount from my coupon! Worst service in in my life. I called this dealership, because i heard there was a special, the man who answered, Steve, was the most disrespectful "manager" of any business, ever. Its unbelievable how horrible this experience was, considering the call was less than 5 minutes long. I had two questions, there was no special, which i didnt mind, i have the money needed regaurdless. However, when I asked for wn estimate, he advised of extra work needing to be done. Now me, being someone who doesnt know much about cars (which is why I called to have someone else fix mine!) Asked why? A very simple, why? He began huffing and puffing, and then shouted over the phone, "OK THEN TAKE IT TO SOMEHWERE ELSE!" So not only has this man turned me away for asking a simple question, I will make sure that no one i know goes to ANY firestone EVER. My family has been using firestones services for YEARS. But now, because I had ONE SIMPLE QUESTION. I am being treated as if i am not a welcome customer? I even called back to ask for a manager, I was then told there was no manager on duty, so i asked, when will Steves manager be in, only to be told, "ughhhh steve is the manager." Excuse me for not understanding, but is there a manager at this store? Is it steve? Is this how you treat all your customers? You know the worst part, is that if he is the manager, this will go unpunished, and other people will be treated just as poorly, or worse. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.

I have used this firestone a few times before but will not consider coming back. Called on Saturday to see if they repaired tires he guy told me they did but would be a long wait to bring it in so I said I could drop it off and come back tomorrow to pick it up. He told me to just bring it in on Sunday since it's a slow day so I made an appointment for 11am Sunday. I didn't wait because I had errands to run. They finally called 2 and a half hours later to tell me the tire couldn't be repaired. So I chose to just have it replaced. Waited for another 2 hours to call and be told that the tire had only gotten there 20mins prior but the car should be done soon. 30 mins later decided to go pick up the car and of course it is still being worked on. So from 11am until 5pm I had to wait for my car. That is absolutely ridiculous.

They can put on a tire, aside from that stay far far away. Alignment, nope. Press in bushings, nope they used a hammer! (The only reason I took it to a shop is because I don't own a press). Torque lugs to 80 lb/ft, not a chance (I watched the guy crank past 80 by no less than 30°). Clean up after themselves, not so much, I found a wrench under the hood rattling (how it didn't fall out is just luck), scuffed up some paint in the process. Save yourself the headache, find another place to do work on your vehicle. I concur with the reviews stating this Firestone tries to up sell anything and everything. Maurice

Why am i forced to give these clowns any stars at all? They are slow beyond belief, they got grease all over the inside of my truck, they absolutely crushed the undercarriage with the lift because they lifted it from the wrong place and making an appointment is pointless. I had a 9 a.m. appointment and now is 10:30 and they still haven't even started fixing the damage they've done to my truck. Plus while sitting here i hear them talking to someone else about fixing all the damage they just did to her car. The same guy then had his friends come over to the store and hang out in the lobby with him having a VERY LOUD conversation about going after work to smoke some crack. Sooooooooo.....I guess that it all makes sense now. They do horrible work, treat you like garbage, damage your vehicle instead of fixing it and will ignore you entirely when you have the nerve to complain. It's because they hire crackheads to work on your car. I should have done a video inventory of our truck first to make sure the crackheads didn't also steal anything. If you want to be treated like crap, have your vehicle damaged and then dismissed by the morons at the counter then this is the place for you. Not even the owner of this shop has any decency at all. We called for several days asking him to call us to discuss our issues. He NEVER ONE returned our calls. We ended up having to go to the corporate headquarters to get our problem resolved. At least someone in this chain has some customer service skills and will take resistibility for irresponsible store owners. It's just a shame the good for nothing owner doesn't have enough balls to act like a man and take some responsibility for his lack of action and incredibly poor choice of employees.

Had an awesome experience during my one week stay in Duluth. I picked up my rental from the Enterprise at the airport and as soon as I drove off my TPM light came on. I called the number and they told me I could take it to any Firestone and they would check it out for me and even replace it no questions asked. I called at 539 was told to come in and they'd be glad to take a look at it for me. Took me about 10 min to get there with traffic, Andy checked the car in and I was out of there at 630. He went above and beyond to make sure he was charging it to the correct Enterprise account as my rental did not have any tag associated with it nor did it have any information inside of it to direct him to an account. He was so pleasant and patient with me. He assured me it would take no time at all to get it patched up. Thank you so much for making my rental experience less of a hassle, don't know what I would've had to do if it weren't for Andy!

11-25-2015 (the day before Thanksgiving) I had a flat tire while on my way to work. I had the roadside tow me to Firestone because I knew the rough cost of a tire there. I got more than I bargained for. They were slammed (as should have been expected the day before a holiday). The gentleman who checked me in tried several ways to help me, and when I told him the best I could do would be to walk the mile back up after I got off work and pick it up after close he asked me to hold on just a minute. Instead of waiting for a bay, he got a jack and they changed the flat outside the bay, by hand! I didn't expect that, and it made my day since it was really TOO cold for walking that much that day. He was SO friendly, full of good advice, and helpful. We won't hesitate to go back!

I purchased new brakes and rotors 6 months ago. I began hearing a squeaking sound. So I brought the car back to this location. Unfortunately, my brakes were completely worn down. I was in shock. I had a lifetime warranty on them. So they were covered. However, they were attempting to still charge for labor. One of the associates ( I won’t name) informed me that there was nothing that could be done about this. I explained to him that I didn’t feel like I should have to pay anything considering it hadn’t even been a year that I had the brakes. He wasn’t very understanding. I assumed he was the manager( he was not). I then asked to speak to the manager (he was on vacation). However, the service manager Spencer was in. He was extremely empathetic and helping. He understood my frustration and ensured that I was properly taken care of. I work in customer service. And I don’t believe that “the customer is always right.” However, I do believe in treating the customers like people and not just a number. I believe that every situation doesn’t call for the same result. Sometimes you do the right thing simply because it’s the RIGHT THING! (Even if it’s not the norm). Thank you Spencer for being a stand up guy and honoring what was right. I have been a loyal Firestone customer for over 3 years. Because of Spencer, you now have a customer for a lifetime.

Work ethic is mediocre. Took my car in for four tires and apparently they had a free alignment, so they were also going to do an alignment. 4 hours later its 2 hours from closing time and so i figured i'd go in, cause the cars got to be done soon right? Wrong. The car was on a rack when i got there so i thought i'd be out quick so i could get the rest of my inspection done, that day before my mechanic closed. Wrong again. 1 and a half hours later 30 minutes from close, i ask about the car (at this point my mechanic is closed) they say the car is on the rack for the free alignment. Its the same rack it was on when i got there. I'm no mechanic but i've never had an alignment anywhere else take 1 and a half hours, possibly longer since it was already on that rack when i got there. The guy behind the desk addressed my issue properly and proffessionally, which is why they get 3 stars, which is about the only thing okay about this place. Tl;dr - if possible go somewhere else for any timely work.

Scheduled my appointment online, showed up on time only to find out that the store never knew about it. They were fully booked, with walk-ins coming through the door, on a Sunday morning. Despite that, I was offered a chance to have my car done, it would just be a while (I was getting 4 new tires). I set myself up for a 3 hour wait, a personal guess based on how many cars were ahead of me and the fact that they only had 2 techs that day. I was gone in just over 2 hours with the best tire balancing I've ever had on this car - no vibrations anywhere up to highway speeds. All of the staff were friendly, courteous, and professional. Considering how slammed they were that day, I'm pleased that: 1) I was served at all; and 2) that my car was done perfectly, nothing forgotten or skipped. I'd definitely recommend them.

Had used this firestone for years for my business. Came in this morning on my way to work with a flat tire. Had my two dogs with me. I went in and the woman at the counter was on the phone and told me to wait. Okay. 10 minutes goes by, I get my dogs out of the car because it is 30 degrees out. I come back in and stand off to the side. She finished her phone call, took a look at my dogs and told me she was going to ask me to leave if my dogs were aggressive. My dogs were on a leash and sitting beside me. I told her it was too cold to leave my dogs in the car and that I was on my way to work when I saw I had a flat, that I just wanted to leave my car and walk to work. She continued to argue with me. I said that's fine, you have lost a regular customer. She actually told me thats fine I have other customers. I service all my business vehicles at firestone. Not anymore.

I have had multiple services performed here, ranging from a basic oil change to state inspection to detailed mechanic work. I recently had a major issue that they resolved for me in a matter of hours. They always do a great job! Additionally, I really value their transparency and honesty. They have always been straight forward about issues, costs, and options. As a female, it really means a lot me that I can trust these mechanics and I don't have to send my husband to do all of my automotive bidding. My the parking lot is a little small. But it doesn't effect the techs - they're top notch. But I keep hoping they'll some how get some better (or at least more) real estate.

They need to work on their customer service skills a little bit more. I had an appointment for my wife's suv, I just simple added to have the front end greased. The person over the counter informed me that they are truly busy on Saturdays so next time inform them about this when making the appointment. My experience wasn't that great. I went in for a tire rotation. They told me that I had 3/32" of tread on my tires and they were too bare to rotate. That is fine, but they still charged me for a tire rotation. It was pretty cheap so I wasn't too upset. The front desk guy seemed really inexperienced too. He rang my charge up wrong. Luckily someone else noticed and told him to change it. Overall not too thrilled with my experience. I'm going to try somewhere else next time.

We pulled in and the guy looked at it and didn't try to sell us on a new tire but instead said he could fix it at a very reasonable price. I had a tire blow out the day before I had to drive to Cincinatti. Since I knew I needed tires already I was hesitant to drive to Cinci on a spare tire in fear that one of the other 3 tires could fail at any moment and then I would be stranded. I frantically called around louisville at 5:30pm trying to find someone that had the tires I needed. Nobody could help. When I got in touch with Teddy and Brian from firestone they assured me they could get the tires I needed and have them on my truck by 1pm the next day. They were polite, very helpful and answered all the questions I had. If you ever need tires, check them out, they’ll take good care of you. Special thanks to Brian and Teddy for the hook up!

Do NOT go to this FireStone on South Academy Blvd. They waste your time. I just paid for a full diagnostic last week and AFTER i paid for the results they want to tell me that they didn't check my brakes and they have to do that another time. Prior to this (Same day.) i made it known that i live 2 blocks away and they agreed to call me when there ready to work on my truck. They called me i was there in 7 minutes and signed in. My truck then sat OUTSIDE the garage for an hour and a half before they started it. Just called today 3/23/16 and i felt like i was talking to an intern or a teenager still in high school with NO educational/mechanically inclined potential towards ANYTHING of a vehicle. They wasted my time greatly and time is money and these kids over here don't understand and don't care. Time is money. Going to contact the BBB it's just overall pretty unprofessional, and you can tell there just there for the check. There don't care what Firestone looks like apparently.

Terrible. The first time I changed oil for my Honda Accord, when finished, the oil smell was full of my car, and it took several days to recover. The second time, I did oil change as well. After that, they suggest me to clean the battery, OK, I accepted and they did clean the battery. But you cant image that they made my car radio and mp3 player not work. Several days later, I asked them why it didn't work, they just told me you need to go to Honda dealer to ask for a number to fix it. SO Ridiculous, they just dont want to admit their mistakes.

My husband bought a full set of ram truck tires just before his stroke, then the truck sat and two developed problems. They honored the warranty immediately no problem even though it had been a while since purchase. There was also a confused elderly gentleman who had his car towed in because the oil light flashed when starting up. Avoid at all cost!!!!!!!!!! You'll NEVER be able t go to this place and get reasonable service, prices and quality work done. Even if you take your car in for the smallest issue, they will ALWAYS come back with "strings attached!" Took my car in for MINOR repairs a few weeks ago, since I had a firestone credit card. I received a price upfront, but by the time repairs were done, all of a sudden it became more expensive. I was told I needed another part on my car, and I agreed to the price with LABOR included. The next day(since I waited 3 hours and it was closing time), the Manager was FURIOUS, ANGRY, NASTY, and UNPROFESSIONAL, when he found out that one of his workers from the day before, gave me a price with labor included. All of a sudden, he wanted to charge me TRIPLE for the part. After a brief argument and PROOF of the price quoted from the previous day, he snatched the invoice paper and walked away angry simply because I would not allow him to charge me TRIPLE for a small part, that wasn't even that expensive. In other words, he TRIED to CON me out of MORE money. Good thing I had a copy of the previous quote! Their work sucks, and it takes hours for them to do a simple job. Why? Because the LABOR itself is more expensive than the part. So the longer they take, the more money they get. They will take a long time just to make a profit off you. As for the firestone credit card, they will TRY to take every bit of the amount you have been approved for. Be careful when going to this location and the one on Outer Loop in Louisville. Both locations are rip off's in my opinion. I had a very DECEPTIVE experience at BOTH location. After my car was fixed, I still hear noises coming from the problem area. No one has time to take their car back and forth to an auto repair shop day after day and wait HOURS for them to fix it, when it should have been fixed the FIRST time. Horrible service, and they have a NASTY manager at the downtown Location.

I had to replace a tire. I lucked out with timing, because I was in and out in less than an hour. Since they don't take appointments, you can wait much longer if they're busy. I received a survey from them that made me realize I wasn't given the options or attention the company expects, i.e. courtesy fluid check, explanation of bill, etc. That was a bummer to find out. Stopped in to get a headlight changed. I bought the part beforehand. I was told that they had to "use their part." When the part finally arrived they pulled my Yukon into the bay only to tell me "everything is fine, both headlights are working." This place didn't look for a cause for the light "dimming" out they just closed my hood and sent me on my way. Granted they didn't charge me anything but what would they charge me for, they didn't do anything. Continued our trip to Texas. When we arrived in Texas I noticed once again that the same headlight was dim again. I took the vehicle to another Firestone in Tyler, Texas. Lo and behold they found a faulty wiring harness or "pigtail" as they called it. You could see evidence of "charring" indicating a short. According to this mechanic, this could have possibly resulted in an electrical fire in the engine compartment resulting in severe damage to my vehicle. After finding this out, I had to come and edit my original review. Never have I had such horrible and unprofessional service at a Firestone as I had at the one in Biloxi, Ms.

Arrived mid morning (after an hour and a half drive) to a man named Richard answering the phone. Waited patiently as he continued to answer the phone as it repeatedly rang. He acknowledged us and said he was sorry for the wait and he'd be with us in a minute. Then for the next 8 to 10 minutes, he continued answering calls and making reservations for people over the phone while we waited in the lobby. I excused myself to use the restroom and there was no soap in the unisex restroom. It hadn't just ran out. It was BONE DRY. When I came out of the restroom 2 minutes later, the man was still on the phone. Then, finally, about 30 seconds after that, we got waited on and were told it would be 3 or 4 hours to do the job. That was a long wait to me. But they were the only ones in the valley with tires for our car and the guy we originally spoke to on the phone before heading over (Sean) was awesome, helpful, ordered the tire we needed, (which is why I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 1). One of the few places in town I feel is honest and does good work. Always goes above and beyond to explain what my car needs, and they give discounts to hospital employees, which is great. Fair prices, clean bathroom, well lit waiting room, professional and polite front desk people. One thing to know is they, like any good shop, are always busy. I drop my car off in the morning, and it's done when I get off. If you need work done right now your experience may be different.

They installed an entirely new coolant system on our vehicle for now what looks like no reason. Brought it in with heavy coolant leak and overheating. Seemed proud of their diagnosis that it was just a torn hose or something. Said parts would be in tmrw after looking at it for 20 minutes. Call us and say they found another leak. Replaced entire cooling system. Got the car back and problem didn't change. Brought it back to the store and manager says it's a blown head gasket. How a team of professionals could miss something that major is concerning. Best part is, right before that diagnosis, the manager said the original radiator and water pump passed a pressure test. yet they put the new parts in knowing the original parts worked. Crooks. Screwing over a soldier and his family. My uncle was a head mechanic at a Ford dealership for years and said there's almost no way this shop wouldn't have known it was a blown gasket almost immediately if they had driven the car or did proper diagnostics on the vehicle.

I call for appointment and price to change my tires back from winter to my all season ( they put winter tires last fall for $69) the person on phone told me the price would be $65+ tax if my rims are 19 and 95$ if they are 20 , so iam ok I have 19 and that's $65 sounds good. I purchased new tires at another Firestone location in Colorado Springs (Cascade & Bijou)3 months ago. Excellent customer service. I was told I colud get air at any location. Today I went to the S. Academy location and after being told to pull up to bay #2 and someone would help me. After waiting 15 minutes, I callled the store from my car to remind them I was waiting! I've been to Firestone 3 times and today was the first day they charged me. The first 2 times the low tire pressure light came on so I stopped in to have them check. They didn't find anything wrong but did fill up my tires free of charge. The 3rd time there was a screw in my tire but they were able to repair it. My total came to $20! They've always been fast and caring work excellent service. I told them I was amazed they weren't trying to charge me an arm and a leg. The manager's response was "we can't always do that but we like to if we can". What a great and refreshing mentality! I would recommend anyone bring their vehicle here.

Turns out they failed to see over $2000 of repairs that needed to be done. Do not get your vehicle checked out here unless it’s something simple. The list of things that was actually wrong with my vehicle was shocking and I cannot believe that they missed all of it. They didn’t even mention that my brakes were 80% worn. I called them a few days after they inspected it and asked them why my vehicle was still acting the same. The guy on the phone said that the noises were normal. Never again.

If I could get this place 0 Stars I would. Dropped our car off on a Friday, and initially agreed the work would be done by Sunday afternoon. Then get call till Saturday late afternoon that says our car is ready and fine and nothing major is wrong with it. I thought that was strange since my maintenance required light was on and the tires and brakes on my car were not functioning well to begin with. When we arrived on Sunday afternoon to pick up the car it was still on the list with all the tires off. Upon talking to the very rude gentleman at the front office, we found out my car had thrown several errors I needed several things fixed. I inquired why we were not told this and was told the guy wasn't in the day before so not his problem. They quickly put my tires on my car which made the driving even worse as now my car violently shakes every time I go to stop. The man at the front desk couldn't work the computer and when we requested a copy of all the errors that had then diagnosed he magically couldn't find it. But that's okay because it's not his problem. Do not trust these dishonest people. Go elsewhere. Not only is my car not safe to drive I'm starting to think that they messed with my car to make it worse off so I'd have to bring it back. No thank you. I'll take my business elsewhere because not only did they waste our time they still wanted to charge us for the inspection in the first place. Disgusting, Shady, downright rude people. If I could get an attorney I would.

Got a new tire for my Toyota here about a month ago when other stores didn’t even carry my specific size/model. The front counter employee went out of her way to order my tire and it arrived within an hour as promised. I’m writing this review today while I’m waiting for my oil change to be done after I set up an appointment earlier today, I came in at 1:30pm and the manager helped me. There were no issues with my appointment, which is rare at other stores. S/O to the Hispanic Store Manager that runs this store. I will definitely be back.

They have failed me on numerous occasions. But the last failure was the last straw. I went there for a simple plug for a slow leak. (their was a nail in my tire. And I visually confirmed it). When I came back to get my car .. They told me, "their was no leak.. But we found a nail in your tire". I knew something was weird at that pt. After driving it around for a day... I noticed my cars tire was ALL THE WAY Flat. ... D these idiots removed the nail from my tire... And never actually patched the leak. Which in turn... Turned my slow leak into a full on leak. Smh.. .. The level of incompetence from a "tire shop" is literally unacceptable. Don't waste your time with them.

My BF Called To Do Alignment On My Truck Today and Got Turned Away Due To My Truck Being lifted. Funny because they Did My Other Truck Which is lifted As well. I called this store after a disappointing visit to Fairview. Dave was really nice and apologized for the counter persons behavior at the other store . He scheduled an appointment for this afternoon. When I arrived Larry greeted me as Dave was busy with other customers. Larry checked my account and stated L/T rotation and balance plus balance recheck. Not that this really mattered as the vibration problem stemmed from the initial new tire install. No matter, Larry says okay we’ll take care of it; rebalance no rotation. Perfect! Car/tires done in 30 min; Dave says we just calibrated the balancer this morning so that should take care of it after asking the technician about the rebalance. Three tires were off one ounce and a half ounce on the other. They both said yeah that’s quite a bit and very noticeable. Very happy to say my car drove as smooth as melted butter at 75 on way home on I-84. Ahhhh! Thanks guys for the excellent no fuss work!

He talked me through all of my options and did not pressure me into any excess purchases. I brought coupons to use, but did not even have to as he automatically applied them to the bill. Just got back from Firestone in Southington due to a issue with my Tire Pressure Monitoring System and tires that were over inflated. Had new tires put on my Corvette at Firestone in Newington and they didn’t inflate the tires to correct specifications which caused diagnostic codes on OBD. When I called to explain the issue, they didn’t even bother to offer to correct it. Shout out and huge thank you to Ben at the Southington location for being accommodating, professional and helpful. He corrected the issue and gained a customer! Appreciate the excellent customer service and will use this location again

Went in because I was losing 10 pounds of pressure a day in my front passenger side tire. They end up "patching" the other side and put air in the front passenger side tire so my TPMS light would go away. Walk out with a $30 bill. A few hours later my TPMS light comes on and I've lost 10 pounds of pressure in front passenger side tire. I'm so disappointed, way to screw over another Bridgestone employee.

Easy. $1400 to install a fuel pump on a 2001 Chevy S-10. I have sold autoparts for 26 years. I understand retail. This place has to make money to stay open, but $1400.00 for a R&R fuel pump ? Also it took them 2 days to do this . Us being on vacation they desided to screw us. This Firestone has been the worst experience I have ever had with a Auto Repair shop. The so call "MECHANIC" Juan should go back to school this guy does not know what he doing. I went there because Danielle the service advisor said he specialized in repairing emissions problems they charge me $500 to repair the problem. Since then, I have gone back within one week of so call "repair job" 4 times. I was told at my fourth visit that Juan could not fix the problem that supposedly he specialize in. So, then they send me to the Harlem & Montrose store where the Manager Ray Gonzalez tells me that for them to fix the problem it would cost me an additional $760.00. This is their way of ripping people off the public especially women. I have put in a complain with their corp. office and I am waiting to hear back from their Area Manager, Jeff Douglas his reply and action will speak for the Firestone Corporation as; to how they respond to their customers after they have been paid and unfairly treated by store's that do not know how to get the job done by incompetent employee's who should not be working for Firestone to begin with . I will escalate this to the office of our the State Attorney Lisa Madigan if this matter is not address by their Area Manager. She told me to just bring it in so I did at 10:30, I asked how long it would take and she said not long that they would give me a call. So I called around 1:30 PM to see if it was done, they said not yet which is fine I understand it's busy. 5:30 rolls around and I have gotten no call, they CLOSE at 6. I go in ask for my keys and I asked the worker what would have happened if I didn't call and they still hadn't gotten my car in for an OIL CHANGE, he had the nerve to say it would have been done before closing which was 30 minutes away when I left my car there ALL DAY, 7 HOURS. 7 hours it was there and he really told me the LAST 30 minutes it would get done?? Went in for a rotate and balance as I purchased the tires there- also asked them to check my brake pads/rotors. Front wheels were heavily covered in brake dust before the "service", decided to check how they rotated them because it would be easy to tell...front wheels were still covered with brake dust. I took my car up here and dropped it off with a list of stuff around $800, The guy calls me an hour later and says and I quote "I don't wanna do $1000 worth of work and its not gonna fix your problem.". The problem i had was that the guy didn't want to do the work. I know he was concerned about one big problem, which was there was no heat in my car; I told him that. he said he spent 3 hours trying to figure out my problem, which was the heater core. He said by fixing this, it will put heat in my car. I also told him about the antifreeze leaks and other stuff that were on the list. He said he would look at it after he fixed the heater core. He said he would call me when it is done before the end of the day. He didn't call at all, I had a friend drive me back up there, when i asked if my car was done, it took them 10 minutes to find my keys, and he said it had been ready a few hours earlier. They fixed the heater core which i paid for, and didn't get anything else fixed because the heater core was so damn costly. He should have fixed what was on the paper, and I could have worried about the heat later. I think they fix what they want to fix, and have you running back for your other problems.

Pathetic. Nice staff though. Had them replace a transmission,clutch and couple other small jobs. Almost a month and $4k later, I finally got it back. Skip ahead to weeks to today. Car won't go into gear I broke down on the side of a busy road. Whatever they did, they didn't do it right. District manager is contacting me in the next 48 hrs. You'd be better off paying a tweaker to work on your vehicle

So I went in for an inspection on my car knowing it needed some work. They said I needed new wipers, front highbeam light, oil pressure switch, belt and rack & pinion case the bushings are worn out and the only way to replace them is to buy a whole new rack and pinion. I put the rack & pinion in less then six months ago. I went to advanced auto and got the bushing for $50 bucks they wanted to charge me $2,277 for $150 dollar worth of parts don’t go unless you want to pay for stuff that doesn’t need replaced. However I did need wipers, light and the belt. If they would have just been honest and said hey you just need bushing...ok cool. But They told me they couldn’t just get bushing

I come in 15 minutes early and they tell me they can't do it the same day but they can get me in at their downtown shop. They call, tell me it's all squared away, let me drive all the way downtown and that shop says they can't do it that day or the next.

I went to get my A/C checked a couple of weeks ago. They ended up telling me I needed to get a new compressor. Which will cost around $1,200 plus they add all other details that need to be fixed. They told me they were not sure if the AC would work so that the price would range depending if there was a leak or not. My boyfriend and myself decided to check to see why my AC was not working because it is expensive so at the end it ended up being a little small sensor called Relay Fan 2 that ended up costing about $40 at Advance Auto Parts. It is unbelievable how they try to take your money without even checking it correctly. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Avoid going to this place.

My wife was heading to Louisville, KY from Chicago when she hit a pot hole on 65 just North of Indianapolis. The spare tire was installed by a road side service. I searched the internet for a OEM (Firestone FT140) tire for a 2016 Honda Civic. I called this Firestone store and spoke to Brian. He informed me the tire I needed is in stock and quoted a fair out the door price. My wife used the over night key drop service. Brian and his crew had the vehicle ready for pick up in no time. Brian followed up with a phone call to my wife indicating the car was ready for pick up. I want to give this Firestone store a shout out for a, JOB WELL DONE! Thank you!

I went there to get a hole fixed on my tire, they did that but they failed to inspect the rest of the tire and I still have a nail in it. I won't be going back because 20 bucks for a small patch repair is insane. However, today I called to verify they have the equipment to do a wheel/tire alignment (I used both terms). The guy answering the phone said there is no such thing. They do tire rotation. Wow. This Firestone is a monument to half-assery. Both headlights in my wife’s Toyota Yaris died the weekend I was supposed to leave on a business trip to LA. I didn’t have time to take the whole front of the car off so I took it to Firestone. The belt was squeaking, and the car was due for an oil change, so I told them to take care of those items as well. The next day, we come back and pick up the car and my wife notices the check engine light is on. She calls Firestone right away and tells them about the light. The guy says, “It was on when you got here.” The friggin’ light was most certainly not on when we got there.” We call back and speak to a manager. He agrees to let us bring the car in, so they can run a free diagnostic. In the meantime, the skid plate pops loose because they never bothered to secure it correctly. We take the car in to get the skid plate bolted back on and the diagnostic. It turns out that somehow, one of the valves in the engine was damaged while they were doing repairs. By this time, I had returned from my trip, so I wasn’t on a time crunch. I purchased the valve and replaced it myself at a cost of an additional $160 dollars and half a weekend. Oh, and the skid plate? They didn’t bolt it back on they just used a zip tie. DO NOT COME TO THIS FIRESTONE IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CAR DAMAGED.

This campany has a good service and reputation i think, but i have to say that when i request to replace one needled tire, which is one of four tires that i purchased from them definitely not at this location, the mechanic just ruined the pressure senser for that tire, later i have came again to ask them fix the issue at the other location where closed to my home. Had an appointment and it still took an hour and a half for my car to get looked at. Was told I would know everything wrong with it on top of already knowing it needed to back tires. (I brought it in on a donut) they informed me it needs two back tires after an hour and a half of waiting. They argued and tried to force a balance of those tires on me. Then they stated the new tires were going on the front and moving my other tires to the back. They didn't, they charged me way more than necessary for two tires also. Not sure how two 80$ tires equals well over 200$ but evidently that is how their math works. I took my car back to where I had gotten my front tires from due to them claiming they weren't balanced only to find out they were balanced. This place is a joke!! I had an appointment and it took almost 4 hours just to get two tires. And lied to and over charged. I have had 2 bad experiences at this location and i will not be back. First time I came in they tried to sale a 400 doller ball joint that was brand new. Took it to our mechanic and they had missed the broken stabilizer bolt diresctly below that. My wife was unable to liscense vehicle and it sat for 10 or so months. I will mention that i moved it around and started during that time. When she went back today to renew inspection he said another joint and also a tie rod needed to be replaced. We took it to our mechanic immediately and he checked it. The joint had nothing wrong with it and the tie rod end could be replace but was not enough to not pass inspection. I went back and told him what my mechanic had said he said he showed it to my wife and refused to relook at it when i said that he was being dishonest he told me not come back. That is funny because i already paid for an inspection. Do yourself a favor and do not use this location. They have a bad reputaion in community.

I waited 40 minutes a safety inspection just to be told it would be another 2 hours before they even got to my car. There were 3 cars in the garage and no one in the waiting area. Went to the Firestone to get new tires, told i would have to come back for a new wheel bearing. After the wheel bearing installed a week later, My ABS light was permanently on and i started noticing a light knocking noise coming from the wheel they worked on. Each day the noise got louder and more noticeable, so finally i googled the symptoms and they all hit on "lug nuts not tightened". Sure enough, went out to the car and the lug nuts were NOT EVEN FINGER TIGHT! Another day on the road and the wheel would have fallen off! Although reasonably priced, this Firestone lacks attention to detail that could prove deadly. Will avoid in the future.

I was basically forced to leave my car there over night because of their inability to put on 4 tires (that they also tried to overprice me on by 100$) on within 6 hours. Brought my car here two months ago for various issues, one of which was that my brakes were squealing. After charging me $850, they returned my car to me, with the brakes still squealing. Due to my schedule, I haven't had the chance to bring it back until today, when I waited two hours before asking when my car would be next. At which point I was told it's being pulled into the bay now, which I suspect wouldn't have happened if I hadn't asked. When asked if it's normal for them to make people wait 2 hours even with an appointment, I was told they just had too many appointments, which sounds to me like someone overbooked, but of course no offer of any type of compensation for their mistake. After ONLY 20 MINS, I'm told it is squealing but there's nothing wrong with it and it's safe. I asked if they would fix the squealing since that's my complaint and the entire reason I wasted 2 hours of my valuable Saturday and was told they'll lube it. I drive away with a still squealing car and not sure if I trust that they actually did the job they charged me $850 on.

The guy says battery is bad, so I’m like how much he says 305$ for the battery plus 50 for laber and not including tax on that either hahahahahahahahaha so a total of 355$ plus tax then says we don’t have the battery can we keep your Jeep Wrangler note this is a 40k vehicle. I call Sam's club 115$ for a battery with free installation. Firestone wanted three times the amount of money for there petty battery. Firestone's great for what it is, an alignment and tire shop. If your cars needs anything else and it's worth it to go somewhere else. Their tire prices and for life alignment plans are great, but to do any suspension or engine work you have to pay double or triple what another shop'd charge because they charge OE prices, something of which you nearly never have to do with an old hooptie like mine. Rated four stars for customer service, cleanliness, and availability, and two stars for price and the time it took for the parts to arrive (four days). This was an oe wheel(double the price of what I found it for), and ONE lower control arm assembly(for $40 more than the price of two) Sorry doesn't cut it.

I recently visited this location for an alignment on my vehicle through a credit program offered at ‘Rimz to Go’ (which was a really positive experience) and a service included with the purchase of my new tires. With a scheduled appointment at 1 pm, I arrived at roughly 1:05 pm and waited at the front counter for over 15 minutes while the Manager, Chris, continued a personal conversation he was having on the phone in the office. I opened the door to the mechanics bay to ask assistance as I was obviously not getting any from Chris. A very nice mechanic came to my attention and was then that Chris overheard my conversation and then ended his personal conversation and attended to me. Now almost 1:30 pm, I explained why I was there and that I had a 1 pm appointment at which time he tried to convince me that I must be confused as to the location and that there was no appointment scheduled for me for such a service and that ‘Rimz to Go’ had not called all day and had the service not been paid for already, I would have ABSOLUTELY left!!!!! He then continued to tell me that they were busy and it would be 2 1/2 to 3 hours (for an alignment!!!!!!) and I said that’s fine and I would just wait and pushed back my appointment for my oil change at Midas as it was scheduled for 3 pm. Meanwhile, I reached out to ‘Rimz to Go’ just to confirm Mark definitely scheduled the appointment, of which he did, just he spoke with Steve and unfortunately he just didn’t share that with ANYONE ELSE and left to lunch just as I had arrived! Ironically, at 2:15 pm my car was done.....that was a quick 2 1/2 to 3 hours but nevertheless, I was grateful and ready to go and would not do business here otherwise!!!!!!! Where to start? I went to this Firestone twice. The first time was for an oil change and it took hours. Thinking the first time was a fluke, I went back for other services at a later date. Same thing as well as they tried to up-sell several services I did not need. I went to the Firestone on Outer Loop and explained to them how terrible service at this Firestone has been. Apparently, they hear that a lot. They were completely slammed, but provide wonderful customer service and are done when they tell you they will be! I have an appointment at the Outer Loop Firestone today, however, I work downtown. I called the Firestone on Broadway and had the following conversation: "Thank you for calling Firestone this is so & so, how may I help you?" He then proceeds to put his hand over the phone and speak to someone else. I wait until he is finished and he says "Hello???" in a rude tone. I said, "I apologize, are you speaking to me or the ---" He cuts me off and very frustrated he tells me he is having three conversations at once. I told him I would just call back when he wasn't busy, but let me tell you, I will not be taking anymore business to that location. If that location isn't going to get it's act together, it needs to be shut down. Disappointing ALL THE WAY.

Terrible service. I have used Firestone in Southington on two seperate occasions for wheel and alignment services. The first time they scratched all four of my wheels, for which I had to return to the store two additional times to get them repaired. The second time I visited was for a tire swap onto a new set of wheels and an alignment. They chipped the paint off of two of the wheels this time and completely failed at doing the alignment, the car now pulls left and the steering wheel points right. I take my car, friend's and family's cars, to only Firestone. I make a big effort to go to only this Firestone. Why? I enjoy the workers there, and they do a great job on all of the cars I have bought them. They don't bull me at all. After 4 years, I have yet to yell at these workers or call their customer service to complain. Example 1: I went in for an alignment, and they gave me the ending specs. The left back tire had a measurement in the red, and I asked why and why wasn't it fixed. The man at the counter said my car does not have and adjustment for it. I asked if it will hurt my tires being like that? He said no its not out enough and the cost to put "shims" in it isn't worth it. I wanted to make sure, so I looked online and sure enough, no adjustment and shims were expensive. (9/2016) Example 2: I have bought all my families tires from these guys, 21 tires in all. I brought myself a 5th tire for a full size spare. I love Bridgestone tires, in my opinion they are the best tires. A bit expensive, but no more than Goodyear or any other high end tire company. Why these Firestone guys? Because the first time I went in here, about 4 years ago, they went out of their way to bring 4 different tires to let me see them, feel them and display the tread of the tire to me. Plus, I saved enough to be able buy a 5th tire and still being under my budget. I still have the tires I bought 4 years ago from these guys. I just brought my little sister tires 2 weeks ago. (10/2016) Example 3: I have brought them 2 big repairs. Brakes on my sister's car, and tie-rods on my mother's car. Mother's repair went fine without any trouble (3/2016), but after 3 months of being replaced, my sister's back breaks started to squeak again (3/2016). I took it back and let them look at it. They called me, and told me that the back break had a hard spot digging and it was digging into the router which was causing causing the squeak. The fix would be to replace both back breaks and routers with new ones. I told them I already did that 3 months ago and they is why I am back. The man said he knows and that their is no cost to me to do so again it is under warranty, he is just wants the okay to do so. I said go for it. Her car breaks great. (6/2016)

He went to ask the manager, the manager looked over at me, and shook her head. Got there an hour before closing, explained my 2015,dually 3500 had lost all brakes. Told me they could look at in morning. Slept in truck was there at 7 am as requested only to be told the 10,000 lift they had wouldn't support a 3500 dodge, which weighs 7300 lbs stock (mine has no bed at all so it's closer to 7000 lbs)staff is lazy and does not care to put people in danger. I went here to get a tire patched. The guy claims the hole is large to patch. They want me to buy all new tires (AWD vehicle) and guy tries to say he can get me a deal for 4 new tires over $700. I call around and found a place that fixed my tire for $21. It's a shame considering I'm working hard for my money and this place would rip me off like that. Second time that I'm displeased here. The first time they pushed for me to get a new $250 tire due to a small tear after they claimed it was irreparable. I went to another shop and it was fixed in 20 mins. This time I came back because it was close to home and I was short on time. I found out about 30 mins after I left that they STOLE my car charger. It's only a $15 charger but the fact that they stole it is ridiculous. I never take it out of the socket and no one uses my car. It's also angled downward so it's impossible for it to fall. The technicians here are not only not qualified, but they're thieves.

Went in for an alignment after replacing parts they said needed replaced. They gave me no paperwork about adjustments (like the downtown store always does) and when I went to get it inspected 2 weeks later, the ball joint on the drivers side is nearly broke off. We had the money in hand to have it fixed but apparently, they pencil whipped it and did not give a rats teste. Now, we have a fire under our ass to get it fixed in time for tags. Thanks a lot. So I schedule an appointment for an oil change for 3:30pm. So far I been sitting for almost 3 hours for an oil change of an appointment that was schedule for 3:30pm. I could of probably got faster service going to Walmart’s auto-service Department. What’s the point of a scheduling an appointment. Extremely slow I would not recommend this place. I have used Firestone at another location which they are not like this and making customers wait over 3 hours for an oil change to be done with an appointment. What is shocking about this experience I was sitting in their waiting area and the service advisor Marc comes over and ask what vehicle am I waiting for. Keep in mind this is the same service advisor who check me in for my appointment at 3:30pm. I told him what vehicle as a customer you think the advisor would know the car to the person that check it in???? He says to me well the car has been done hours ago and I called and a lady answer the phone said I’m on my way. I was like well you sure did not call me and I been right here in your waiting area for 3 hours. What is so disappointing I paid full price for poor services and the service advisor was not even sorry and how can you have an advisor who check me in for my appointment and knowing I been sitting there this entire time.... I get my receipt and Marc the service advisor the one who check me in for my appointment had a total wrong phone number and wrong spelling of my first name. My online reservations has the correct information, such poor customer service. How can you check a customer in and knowing they are just sitting in your waiting area and never left. This is such poor service. I will never go to this location ever again. I will just keep going to the other Firestone location.

1. Went there and got a great deal on some very expensive tires for my car. 2. Couple weeks later one tire already had gone flat. I called and was very rude yet they handled it professionally. My dad brought the car in they and thought they fixed the problem. 3. Noticed the original problem had not been fixed and another tire was also not holding air. I had never had this problem before and i was ready to go in there and demand they pay for busting my rims up. instead they showed me the issue which was no means there fault and did the best they could to repair my failing beads on my rims. Long story short we got all four tires, an alignment, roadside hazard, and oil change for an amazing deal. Went to this facility, and was charged for services that were not performed , found out because had issue so vehicle was brough to closest facility at the time , and than when I went to firestone to ask them what was gping on and how this happened, was given an attitude to the tone of ( well you didn't know you were charged for this and it wasn't done, ) Really well I'm not a mechanic, because if I was I wouldn't need a place like firestone for sure, thats why I bring my car to a mechanic, you don't charge someone for something and not do the work, also had similar issues with other firestone facility, maybe just me and I have bad luck with firestone , but be cautious when having work done, because now I have to pay for extra issues that arose, because they didn't fix what they were supposed to when I bought it in to get fixed , which now caused more issues than to begin with. Thanks for the headache.

I’ve had a up and down experience with Firestone tires. The first shop and 830 broadway misbalanced my tires. Don’t go there. I came to the other store at 430 Broadway and they have been nothing but good to me. Got a tire on Friday and had a problem with it pulling to one side. Brought it back Monday and they replaced the tire for free. Good quality installs and quick service. I’d recommend 430 broadway store for all Firestone tire customers.

I went in to have a Coil replaced in my 2000 navigator and was charged $120 for the coil that is $42 over the counter at any of the big 3. Their justification was it is under warranty and they don't pay the same price that walk in customers pay!! , Uh my definition of warranty is free or prorated replacement cost. I am writing about your Southington Firestone store, Queen St., Southington, CT. I called to get pricing for two Bridgestone tires this morning and was again rudely treated by the clerk who answered. I received a price that was astronomical and complained that the current management was not serving their 32 year customer fairly. The response I received was not at all customer friendly and I hung up. I called another Firestone store where I have never done business and received a price for the two same tires at more than $100.00 lower. As a 42 year customer in Southington, I was mis-treated to the extent that I will never walk into that location again. This is not the first time I was mis-treated here. The last time, in the early Fall, I reported the incident to the National Firestone consumer line, but never received any follow-up from your regional manager, as promised. I do not recall the file number, but I am sure you can find it!!! I suggest you need to clean out the current staff, as well as regional manager and bring in personnel who have some understanding of treating the customers properly. You have frequently changed the staff at this location, but the current group is the worst. You moved the best manager, Bob Brophy, some years ago and I never had any issues during the many years he was at the Southington, CT store.

It took 1 hour and 45 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation. I put in an appointment (so not even a walk in) and they didn’t bring the car in until 50 minutes into waiting when I asked for a second time if anyone had serviced it. The excuse was they were backed up; and I get that but then tell me and honor the alleged discount offered. Don’t just let me wait and have to ask twice what’s going on and then promise it will only take 20-30 minutes but then it took an extra 50-55 minutes to complete and then ask if I want a credit card at the end; no apologies or anything of the like

Do not trust these guys!!! I made an appointment there just to have my oil pressure looked at. A guy drove 3 hours to buy my car. He just wanted to have that one thing checked before buying. I made an appointment. I even called back to confirm and told him to call me 15 minutes before he could get the car in. The guy took my number and agreed. Well, I never got a call but went ahead and headed up as the people about to buy my car were there. They told me they couldn't get the car in. I had the appointment and they said they would. I asked to speak to the manager and all I heard was that he wasn't in. ... Luckily took it to Meinke across the street. Got there 30 minutes after they closed the guy stayed late to check it for me. They even charged me $30 less for it than Firestone quoted me on the phone.

I had an appointment scheduled at 4 P.M. for an oil change and tire rotation. It took them an hour to get my vehicle in the bay. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if you get it in when you can. An appointment should mean that a Bay and a tech is available to work on my vehicle otherwise why would you be able to schedule an appointment. It should not take 2 hours and 20 minutes to do an oil change and tire rotation. This is not the first time this has occurred but it will be the last. I would rather pay the Ford Dealership prices than have my time wasted for a 45 minute job.

I went to get my AC checked in March. They took my car diagnosed and repaired it in 45 minutes. I thought that was a little quick for them to find an issue and fix it, while looking thoroughly. They also "fixed" the issue without asking my permission, but I went ahead and paid for it. 2 months later my AC is having the same issue again. I bring it back and Andy(recently took the location back over) found a new leak. Of course I felt like it was missed before and i was upset. Andy offered to refund me my full amount, but instead I opted to apply it to the actual repair which was the condenser. He assured me he properly checked my AC system and I assured him that I trusted him. Before I felt like it was rushed and wasn't properly fixed. So I have to say thank you to Andy.

Firestone was my primary auto repair center for years until I went to this location. Once I moved this location was the nearest in my area so I went there for a few repairs. One repair they did on my car cost me double. They screwed up the repair and charged me for their mistake. Shortly, before closing, I get a call asking if I was planning to get my truck that day. I was surprised because they never updated me. I was told by the technician that my brake pads were actually fine, but replaced anyway. I was also charged for the diagnostic test for tire pressure monitor system. Part not replaced due to time. My truck has a diagnostic system and a diagnosis was run previously during a tire mounting. So, charged for no reason. I was told I could pull my truck out from the lift area. Keys were in the ignition. My truck was left in reverse, immediately moving backwards after starting. I did get a military discount. That said, I will NEVER give them business again.

Called in alignment around 11:00 a.m. for 4:00 appt on day off on new year's day ONLY place open today...i was told had 3 customers ahead of my appt. So 4:00 p.m. would give them enough time to balance and aligned the vehicle. Preparing for appt. Around 2:00 I had to waste my afternoon switching vehicles thinking I was going to get my truck aligned and as im on my way from the location I call them at 3:45 to make sure when I called earlier for the appt. it was the Firestone on Broadway that I had an alignment scheduled at 4:00 and I was on my way thinking if I had accidentally called Possibly the meridian location through google I was gonna be late but she did confirm it 4:00. As I showed up 4:05 and still seen vehicle on lift being aligned and after checking in with the front desk I was notified wouldn't be able to get the truck balanced and aligned today since their behind...It's probably 4:10 at this time and I'm thinking to myself so why not stand behind customer service and tell me when I just spoke to you and if they had to stay 15-30 past closing to get the truck done then turn away a customer on their own miscalculation of time and scheduled me that time slot then had told me earlier that day if not as I was on my way that their behind and couldn't do it. I would be less mad but drove from State St. To Broadway to be turned away. I was honest with them when she said she could get me in the next day around 3:00 p.m. My response I'll go to Point S who is 5 minutes from my work on Chinden then drive to Broadway and have them do it while I return to work which I would have done if I had known they couldn't have done it! Would have been a better day to sit at home on the day off then wasted my time by having me run around and prepare for them to have them simply just turned away the work none of this would have happened and making them look unorganized and unprofessional by not correcting the mistake offering to stay late to get it done or offer a discount, free is more like it....but not the point. Do what you say and Say what your gonna do...second bad run in with same Firestone...The first was a nail repair in girlfriends car tire and i stopped in she told me it would be a week to get it looked at and to just leave the car there...it was unrepairable through Les shwab so that would have been a waste of time to just have been carless for a week but again lost our business again my girlfriend bought 2 new tires costing $400 so now I will never go back or even consider giving this company my business or suggest to anyone I know to go to them. I hate spending this time even posting a review which I never do unless it's positive and the business deserves my time writing a review for them! But I just couldn't let this go and hope this just saves someone else their time and just last resort as far as if it's the only place open just wait the next day for another place to open.

Reps mannerable, and techs slow slow slow and reps didn't appear to know what the techs were working on? ,also I noticed the reps must get commission? because they all told every customer upon checkout that the service tech suggests new wiper blades!?! I see why and how the labor rates are embellished and inflated by the techs working so damn slow on purpose? I came in with an appointment at 10am and left after 6pm! The tires had to be ordered? And something something something else went wrong....by 230 they were turning customers away because of 3 hour wait times....they need to hire more techs? Or increase hours of operation? Well, I had a good experience. I bought two tires. Wide selection of tires available in my size, with a wide choice of treadlife, price range, and characteristics. The list price for teh pair I chose was a little steep but it was buy one get one half off, so it came out quite reasonable. The staff was very friendly. I couldn't leave my car, so they said they would have it done while I waited. They did so and were quick about it. Lots of things were included free - I wanted the new tires on the front and the old back tires removed, so a tire rotation was needed (free). Free courtesy check of hoses, belts, fluids. Free alignment check and report. Car returned clean and early. Just wish they had wi-fi while you wait :-)

If you need an inspection, go elsewhere. Employees are friendly... as they fill you with BS. It doesn't cost them time and money. It's across the street from the DMV, convenient right? Until you come back 2 hours later for your sticker and are told to make yet another appointment, waste another day off and your gas when the counter guy makes it sound like the inspector will just come back out and slap the sticker on when you come back from the DMV after already wasting an hour for the initial inspection. The counter guy should have just looked at his appointments when I came to drop it off and told me the truth. Goodbye Firestone... hello Goodyear.

This place was the worst and most dishonest place I have ever dealt with in my life! They don't know how to diagnose a problem. My vehicle was overheating and they diagnosed every component of the cooling system bad. They wanted $2500.00 originally. They said they could get it running for $850.00 and it wouldn't overheat but they couldn't guarantee it. We agreed to do that. I get a call 55 minutes later saying "Your vehicle is finished and it's running great! That in itself flew up a Red flag? 55 minutes? Ok Great done! I drive it 2 miles and the car overheats just as bad as before. I bring it back and they said we only will fix anything we put in. You need to put all those other parts in for us to guarantee it. I really wonder how they stay in business. Don't go there unless you know exactly what you want done. I don't think they can screw that up too bad?

Just a sad, pitiful and an unprofessional place of business in my opinion!! Took my car for repairs. Spent almost 1000.00 for tires, oil change and a so called alignment. However, I noticed that my car is still doing the same thing even after getting an alignment. Noticed that the caps on my car wheels are all missing, except one. Called to complain, the manager never said "Can you bring it back in?" He never said "Let me see what happen to the caps." All he did was make excuses for the unprofessional job they did to my car. I took my car to them a year ago or so for an alignment, and after waiting 2 and a half hours, I was told an alignment could not be performed. However, this past month, they did a so called alignment and charged 89.00. Now if you looked at my car a year ago and said you could not do an alignment, how in the world were you able to perform one now??? Also noticed they changed oil. No sign in car telling me when to come back for my next one, nor was it on the receipt, and I am now wondering if the oil was even changed. When I went to pick up car, the representative never went over bill, just folded the receipt up and said "Thanks." Wow!!!! Unbelievable. Oh, and by the way, when you complete the customer satisfaction survey, the manger will call you ONE time and then you're forgotten about. If you are really concerned about the experience of your customers, you would call more than once. But I guess that's what you do to make yourself look good. Oh, and one last thing, the representative that day kept calling me with other issues that were going on my with my car, and said it was necessary for it to get fixed. He then called back an hour later saying my car was experiencing starting problems, and after taking the key out, it seemed as if it didn't want to shut off. He said the tow truck driver said the same thing. This is false, because I have never had an issue with my car doing that at all. When I told him that wasn't true, he then called back to say it wasn't what he thought. If I did not have a Firestone credit card, I wouldn't go to this place at all. It's horrible. I think I will find me a local mechanic, and cancel my Firestone credit card. My advice to many of you reading my review would be to find you a mechanic you can trust and depend on to do things right and honest. And I would even shop around for tires before going to this place. Use this place only IF you really have to. I know everyone's experiences are different, but this was MY experience.

This Firestone deserves to get sued. My mother went in for a simple oil change and battery replacement. The employees there suggested that she'd replace her water pump, brakes oil change and an old hose (that was not broken, just old); It totaled at about $1400. Surprised as she was by the total, she made it very clear that she had just replaced her water pump at Toyota and that the next time she went in she'd perform the brakes oil change. The employees there then took her car to the back and POSSIBLY performed what she thought she had paid for and purposely sabotaged the water pump at a total cost of $300. My mother then noticed that her cars thermostat was not moving, but she chose to not worry about it because the same thing had happen at Toyota for a few hours after she had inspected the water pump. Twelve hours later, the thermostat still remains in place and she arrives home from work when her van suddenly shuts off. She then attempted several times to have the car turned on and once it began to run her engine began smoking. Worried and frantic as she was, she turns the car off and steps outside and realizes that the engine had been overheating (water pump ruined), a fluid had been leaking (the hose they must've broken) and that she no longer had a car because the only one she owned would not turn on again :) I just want to say that this was entirely unethical and barbaric of these employees to feel like it was okay to go behind someones back (after they trusted you with their service) and go ruin things not knowing or caring for the customers safety or financial situations. This store on pleasant hill does not deserve any type of business! Their only concern is how to steal peoples money and how NOT to earn peoples trust.

I took my car in due to a slow leak in the passengers rear tire, I'm thinking just a plug and on my way after the mechanic looked for the cause it was found that a rail spike from the overly EXPENSIVE incomplete rail was impaled @ an angle where a new tire was our only option. The surpintine belt on my ford came off on a Saturday so I brought my car in to them to have it replaced, later that day I get a call and dude gives me a laundry list of things wrong with the car, valve gasket cover needs replaced, water pump needs replaced new belt new tensioner etc....total amount for repair was 956 dollars and they would only work on the car if I paid to have everything replaced. So naturally I call around the area and get other estimates. EVERY other shop I called quoted said repairs at about 600 or less. Finally I took it to Petes in Gladstone, they called and asked why I thought I needed all that? Turns out the only thing wrong was the pulleys were loose and needed tightened, there was a small crack on the gasket cover so I had that replaced while they were in there AND THERE WAS NOTHiNG WRONG with the water pump & to top that off I found out the only way to check if the pump was broken/ leaking was to REPLACE the belt and run the car (which they did not do).. Total repair cost 350. This place is the biggest scam I have ever encountered. If you are looking for a good legit HONEST shop save the headache and drive over to Petes Auto Service on N Oak.

Torn on the amount of stars to choose. I dropped off my car for an oil change when the store opened and the guy at the register asked me if I could leave the car as it was going to take 3-4 hours. I had a ride already planned and they said I would get a call when it was finished. 3-4 hours would have been about noon or one o'clock. I never got a call. So at 3, I went up to pick up my car and a different guy was at the register and told me, "We are still working on cars from 2-3 days ago. You can leave it, but no guarantees we can get it done today." I was upset, because if the first man I talked to was honest I wouldn't have wasted my day. I'm a full time employee and student and I do not have that kind of time to jerk around. Anyways, I think the guy could sense that I was very upset and didn't hesitate and went and got me a card for a free oil change. However now I'm scared to go back, because I literally do not have the time to wait around like I did. :( Honesty goes a long way.

they could not fix my car because it has a head gasket problem pontiac 2007 this was in 2013. They referred me to car care center because they have a machine shop. Car care center wanted to charge me $3500 to get it done the car is worth $4000. I had a mobile mechanic fix my car for $400 it was a lower manifold intake gasket that needed to be replaced no more oil leaks yay. This place only gets a star because you can’t give a review with out one. If you love your vehicle at no point should you bring it to the shop. Last time they did not get a water hose tight and it came off I just figured it was an accident things happen. But yesterday I had my truck here to have tie rod ends changed and the alignment redone. Now if you hold the steering wheel straight the truck goes to the right also you have to keep pressure to the left to make it go straight. Taking back today to make them do it right would have done it yesterday but picked truck up at closing and this will be the last time I ever go to this location.

I hit a nail about 30 miles outside of Louisville and decided to use tire slime for a quick fix to get into the city. My car was riding a little rough and I was concerned about the tire being that I’ve never used the “slime” product before. When I arrived I spoke with Andre who educated me about the use of that slime product and the potential damage it could incur on rims/pressures sensors. My tread was pretty worn so we decided to replace the tire. I was quoted about 2 hours but it only took about 45 minutes. Andre, you are the man. We brought our car in for an O2 sensor to be checked and changed while in Georgia on a visit. When we got there the woman at the counter, Joanie, who knows absolutely nothing when it comes to cars. She’s not a mechanic and was in regular clothes not a uniform. There was no communication about our car at all. We dropped it off at 8:30ish in the morning and ended up calling 3x to get an update of what was going on. When we dropped it off Joanie told us it’d be 30 min before the tech could get to it which was fine, however over 2 hours later still nothing. We checked in again a few hours later and ended up coming back to the shop to wait for the car around 230. We waited until 3:50pm to be told that their diagnostic machine wasn’t picking up the codes properly and we had to take it to the dealer. After the tech gave us the keys she told us we could go and caught an attitude because I asked her to give me a print out of what codes they kept getting since they weren’t able to figure it out. The manager backed her attitude by having one also. Not to mention, there was another lady there who had dropped her car off to get an alignment and ended up leaving without one because hours had passed and her car was hiked up with nobody working on it. A lack of professionalism a complete waste of time!!!

My brother-in-law bought tires from this store and his tire was going down so he went to Firestone to get it fixed 6:35. When he showed up there they told him they could not fix it because they were closing at 7. He had to put his spare tire on in their parking lot and no one come out to offer to do anything and when he was done at 7:30 they were still in their working. I would highly recommend going to a different place. I have bought the tires from Firestone for my last seven vehicles and if this is the way they're going to treat their customers I will not go back. About a year ago I got my oil changed there because I have the lifetime alignment and balance and the next day my power steering fluid was empty. I filled it up and had no problem since. This place is a shady operation. My neighbor also said that they overcharged her $75 a couple different times and she caught them. If you decide to use them beware and go over the receipt with a fine-tooth comb.

The TPMS sensors on my Chevy truck were setting of the dash display. The service personnel went tire for tire and determined what sensors were bad. After we determined that the part I bought at Advanced Auto was incorrect, and I purchased he correct GM part they installed the part and did not charge for 2 hours and countless times they had to disassemble the tires and run computer checks. Any Firestone location I’ve visited in any state always has exemplary service. They are honest, knowledgeable, affordable and go out of their way to keep you safe in your vehicle. Once time my tire was low and I thought to stop in really quick to have them put some air in. Turns out it was after hours, so I drove away. Ten seconds later one of the techs called me to make sure everything was ok and offered to open up the bays to fill up my tire. The customer service is so great that they recognized my vehicle, who it belonged to and were even willing to stay at work late to make sure I was safe. You can’t beat this type of service, especially in this day and age. Thank you, Firestone! I’m a customer for life.

Called up there today to set up a time to have my tire patched. I recently bought the tires here and purchased the guarantee at the time of purchase. They told me on the phone that they could get me in am hour to hour and a half. If I show up in the next hour. 45 min later, I pull in and they tell me it will be at least another 1.5 hours till they can see me or can schedule me in So much for a guarantee, if you have to wait days for a tire patch. I'm losing air now.

I've have been a customer for years and never had any issues until recently. I had my car taken in for a tune-up. I was informed that my car would be done by a certain time frame, it wasn't. No one bothered to give me a call to tell me it'd take 5 hours longer than planned. After my tune up, my car started making a funny noise. I went by the shop to see if they would check it out and I was told that they couldn't look at it til the following days to come. Not happy with that response, I drove to Miken's Auto Shop on Austin Bluffs and Academy and it took them 5 minutes to look at my car. Turns out not only does FIRESTONE have crappy service, they also didn't put my car back together correctly after they had completed the tune-up. My suggestion don't waste your time with Firestone. I would highly recommend Miken's Auto Shop instead!

Went in to replace 2 tires. When I picked it up they told me both brake lights were out and my battery was almost dead. My husband followed me up there to drop it off to have the tires done and both brake light were working! My battery was working just fine prior to the visit. Came home replaced the brake bulbs and tested all fuses but can not fix the brake lights. 20 minutes after returning home my battery will not even jump start!! We cannot figure out what they did but they messed it up somehow!! NEVER AGAIN!!

The gal at the shop told me "The reservation system doesn't know the open hours of the shops." She told me she had changed my "wait while the work is done" appointment to a "leave the car for the entire day" appointment, but her change didn't flow through the Firestone appointment system and on to me. Horrible customer service! We have been customers with firestone for over 10 years. This year my motor went out and I trusted firestone to fix it. Firestone put in a used motor into my car. I went on vacation for a month, car sat at home not touched. As soon as I went to drive the car the oil leak light came on, and motor locked. Of course I had a warrenty on the engine and after putting in a claim they denied to refix it. Went to firestone and asked for information on where they got engine from and manager told me he will not give us any information. We asked for coorporates nunber and he refused told us to “Google it!” He said he would not give us ANY information to help us and basically told us we were screwed! Because of the wonderful staff at this Firestone location, I had a bad situation turn into a good outcome. On my way to work, my scrape plate began to drag after a recent oil change performed by a different establishment.This Firestone was within 1 mile of my job and I did not want to ruin the part. I was told the staff that they must not have secured the part after the work was done. This happened on a Saturday and that they would be able to take care of me. I would not recommend this location. I was having a problem with my Jeep and I went to O'Reilys Auto to get error codes for free. I had an idea of what was wrong with my Jeep but needed a diagnostic test to try to determine what could possibly be wrong. I made an appointment at this location and brought in my Jeep and told them what my codes were. Before going down there I spoke to a manager or assistant manager on the phone and he told me all the different things they would do to test it out to see if they could figure out what was wrong. I was there less than 30 minutes and they did get my Jeep in quickly but I never saw them doing anything except opening my driver's door. I never saw them open my hood or take it for a test drive. I never really even saw the mechanic around my car more than once. They were supposed to do all kinds of testing. I'm a curious customer and like to watch through the window when I can. So off and on I was watching through the window. When they were done they gave me the same codes I had already given them plus one extra and charged me over $100. At that moment I was in shock but I also felt cheated but I didn't want to make a scene. I was so upset about the information and it was more than likely a major issue as my codes gave different issues that it could be. As the days went on I thought about it and it bothered me that I didn't see them really doing any testing on my vehicle like they told me they were going to do over the phone. I sent them a letter with my contact information along with a copy of my paperwork letting them know I felt cheated and I thought I deserve to get my money back. I gave them time for a response which I did not get. I did not even get a call or an apology or a refund. The only testing I believe that they did was for the codes they did not do any further testing as they said they were going to for the price I paid.

I drove my Durango in to get the A/C fixed, brakes checked and oil leak diagnosed. They called to tell me that my Durango caught on FIRE! First they said they were checking a vacuum leak then they said it was sitting idling while the tech pulled in another car and flames were noticed. I had it towed to another repair place and there they confirmed my suspicion that the tech was using a spray to check a vacuum leak and something sparked. Christian Brothers in Liberty couldn't find any other way for a fire to start at the top of the intake. It burnt my engine wiring harness, vacuum line, and melted the connectors to the fuel injectors. The new place ran it for awhile and no problems, but to get it back to what it was when I drove it to Firestone will cost $1,500. I am not mad the fire happened, I'm mad that when I asked what they were going to do about the damages done because of the fire they said nothing and inferred it was inevitable with my vehicle. I have had this vehicle for 11 Years and no problems like this and I keep up on the maintenance. I have never driven a car to a repair shop and had it towed away. This wasn't the first problem I had with this Firestone, but I thought I was being paranoid. I'm sure some of their techs are very good but there is one or more that are not. I wouldn't go to this place if it was the only place in town. Not bitter, more sad and shocked.

Got the oil on my car changed here. They didn't put the filter in correctly, and it slowly leaks oil out for a week before noticing. Unfortunately, I was on a business trip at the time and this left me stranded in Denver when I came back. Had to go back to the shop twice to get everything fixed properly, but they did not give me any sort of hassle when returning and explaining the situation. They were decent people, but I won't be going back.

For reasons like this, they lied about what was wrong and told more lies of the current condition of our vehicle. Qutoed us $240.00 for parts and labor and we ended up paying $149.00 for a part that was broken not even what they said was wrong is what we fixed thank goodness Buckeye has honest Firestone. This place sucks and I sincerely hope it burns to the ground. They claimed not to have the tires I wanted when the Firestone website said otherwise, wanting to charge me a premium to have them shipped (probably a lie). I settled for cheaper tires I didn't want, and when I got home I noticed the aluminum valve stem caps that were built specifically for my aftermarket wheels were missing. When I suspected a steering issue was due to a poor alignment on one of my other cars, they actually laughed behind my back, 13 feet away, that it was a wheel balancing issue. Never again.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! 3 visits at 2 different locations in Duluth, GA to fix an overheating problem. Over $400 worth of 'guess' work. From a fuse to a thermostat. Kept overheating. Turned out to be a cracked overflow tank cap I found myself while under the hood. All the coolant kept visibility evaporating. $3 part from Honda. Hasn't lost coolant or overheated since. After multiple cooling diagnosis NONE of the geniuses at Firestone saw this??? Old cap in pic.

(Consider this a 0 star review) If you have a fleet vehicle don’t even think of going here. You will end up asking for one thing and low and behold your wait time turns from hours to days. At the end you find out that the repairs they submitted to the fleet management were 3 times as many as you asked for and that requires special approval which you know will delay your return to work by days. You and your company end up losing money (now you have to drive your own car to work and your company has to pull another vehicle up their sleeve so you can do your job) just because their greed. The lack of professionalism and honesty at this place is disgusting.

Firestone can repair almost anything on your car. Expect to pay for that professional service-they are not shade tree mechanics. They guarantee all their work and are always professional. They replaced an engine in my '97 Camry and I am thrilled with the workmanship and the after service guarantees. These people did not honor the warranty they sold me on. I came in with one tire dead and needing 4 because I have a Volvo s 60 that is all wheel drive. They told me if one tire died they would replace 4 of them. I told them that my car eats tires and was assured it was actual miles not tread-ware. Fast forward 22,500 miles into my 45 ,000 miles 23 months later. I picked up a nail. I also had a slash in the tire. They told be it wasn't road hazard and wasn't covered under warranty. To be nice they offered to sell me a lower quality tire for $80 less than I paid for my tires . Today they offered me tires for $200 more than I paid saying the road hazard only took $1 off each tire. When I bought the tires they told me I needed $960 of car work. I had just had an alignment at Les Schwab so I took it back there. They told me that my car would run fine and I would just have to rotate my tires on schedule. The Volvo people have told me the S60's back calipers are bolted on and cannot be adjusted. I do not know who is right but I know I feel that the warranty was totally misrepresented. When I took my car to have the tires rotated I had to make an appointment (never had to do that with Les Schwab) and it took over 1 hour each time. When I took my tire in to be fixed they told me that it would be several hours before they could look at it. I have bought my tires elsewhere and will not do business with these people again. I feel that I was lied to 23 months ago.

Don't take your vehicle here unless you want to pay for their stupid mistakes and damage to your vehicle, first time lesson,took wife's 2015 Ford focus for oil change and they did not fasten oil drip shield to bottom of car and it ripped off next day going to work .Ford charged $345.00 to replace .second and last lesson took in my 2011 Ford ranger for oil change ,idiot put lift under rocker panels instead of frame and crushed both rocker panels,and truck bed side panels. Cost $3380.00 to replace and paint ( state farm estamat) $500.00 deductible, no reimbursment from firestone. Stay away from them unless you don't mind damage to your vehicle. Manager was not their they took pics. And said manager would call me on Monday ,they damaged it on Friday well guess what it's now Thursday and no call . It's been six days now ,I guess my insurance will have to deal with them .my next step is to call better business bureau, I'm sorry but something has to be done.
