I’m loyal customer of Costco for years , but I was extremely disappointed when I called Automotive to get a quote for tires and The guy who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional . He seemed that he didn’t do any work .

Mari at Costco Tire Shop was great! I stopped to get air in my tires. While I was there she went above and beyond in my opinion. She explained a few things to me regarding my tire pressure sensor and found a nail in my tire. Sure it's probably an everyday thing for her but the way she talked to me and helped me was just refreshing. Very communicative and great customer service. Jessica checked me out when my vehicle was done and she also provided great customer service! Thank you!!

Yesterday, 8/13/19, I brought my wife's car into the Costco tire center at 44th st. & Oak for a tire repair. She has nitrogen filled tires so Discount Tire was out and her low tire light was on. They pulled out a screw she had picked up on the way to work, patched the tire and topped up the nitrogen. This morning on the way to work, less than 12 hours later, the tire goes flat on the freeway while she's going 75 miles an hour. She's stuck on the side of the I-10 at 2am waiting for roadside assistance. Now she's on a donut spare until we can get it replaced for a couple hundred dollars. Don't trust these folks with your tires for even the simplest repair.

I bought Bridgestone Re-71r tires from here and had amazing service as these are special order tires as well. They will always add Nitrogen anytime you want, just pull up to the car bay area. This is a great group of people, who care about tires and the work they do. Keep it up!

When I had a nail in my tire and my tire was not in stock, the associates at the tire center put a spare tire on for me and found a Costco that had the tire in stock. I really appreciate these guys!

Been here 3 times and everytime its the same. The line takes an hour! There is always 1 person helping at the register and sometimes they follow customers to the parking lot to help them which takes 10-15 mins per time. Even with an appointment it still takes an hour for dropoff.

Positive: Friendly greeting, quickly pulled tires, delivered tires on time, asked which way tires should face (a courtesy). Having an appt made customer service outstanding. Negative: Receipt printed so lightly I couldn't see it and couldn't make a copy. Had to call to request receipt but rep was patient in helping me find itemization on paperwork. Receipts should be visible. Waiting area should have more comfortable seating instead of hard steel. Overall, a great experience.

I gave up buying tires here. When I saw the front desk person mistreat a lady customer that was just asking a question, that was it. "I don't know who you are" were his exact words. I would never expect this from Costco.

I made an appointment thinking that would prevent a long wait time. I waited 3 weeks for the appointment. I arrived 5 min before my appointment time, let the clerk know I was there for my 4pm tire installation. and was told to wait in line behind the other customers. 20 min later, I was able to check the car in. The clerk said the wait would be about 2 hours. I was told 40 minutes when I made the appointment. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told it was because they were busy and I had come at the worst time of day. They should not schedule appointments if they are not going to honor them. Total time was, in fact 2 hours, the same as for a lady I talked to in the line while waiting in who had come in without an appointment a few days earlier at about the same time.

Everyone we encountered here was courteous and helpful, got my tires ordered arrived in exactly the time quote and installed the next day which was a Sunday morning it took a few hours but nothing extraordinary as there were a good amount of cars already ahead of us, will definitely go back in the future

This place takes the grand prize as worst costco (tires)! Have to wait hours for anything to be done. Plus a line mile long with 2 working front register if you're lucky! Always some drama. They called me every 20 minutes to nag me about which tires to change, found this oops on that etc. Latest snafu was they tried charging a simple $3 fee and said my membership expired 2 years ago! It did not, their system is so messed up that one department doesn't jive with another. Lastly, good luck getting them on the phone. I called for an hour at 10 am...but they're always on the line ringing and ring at the shop.

Good service but complicated process first you have to order the tires and wait a week for them to arrive then make an appointment for them to be installed.then when you get there they charge you for the tire monitoring system after that you will wait 1 to two hours for them to install your tires So inconvenient would never purchase tires here again cheapest tires ended up costing me $500 at a original price of 95.99 per tire.

Went on a Saturday. No appointments available. Checked in late so it took most of the day but the vehicle was done when promised. Price was reasonable. Staff was nice. Advise going by 6:30 to stand in line early if you need it done quick, or just do the two car, two driver thing and leave it for the day. You can make appointments Monday through Friday. Just fyi

Terrible service, I don't know what I was thinking buying tires at this Costco location for the second time. The tires are fine and the price is great. But the service is horundous. Showed up sharply on time at my 1pm appointment. The guy at the counter gave me a 75minutes ETA. Checked after 2 hours. He said they were backed out and asked me to come back in another hour. Checked after 3 hours and he said the car is just being put up for tire replacement. And that the ETA is still 75 minutes. Sorry Costco but 5 hours for tire replacement is not acceptable. I told the technician what is the point of taking appointments if they mean nothing to them, he shrugged! All this while taking time off work on a Monday, and Making emergency calls to people to arrange picking up my kids off school. So inconsiderate!

Techs are clearly knowlegable, however, front desk tech Micah had a line out the door and we stood there for good 20 minutes. Did not greet or ask to wait. Was fussing around with other customers before we walked in then switched to phone. Seemed kind of ignorant so we left and took our business elsewhere. Thanks a lot. All I needed was a quick tire patch.

I LOVE Costco but walking into the Tire Center in Altamonte is like walking into a different store filled with rude staff who clearly could care less about customer service. No smile just an annoyed air about them that they clearly want to just be left alone. I thought this was just with the particular persons who was "assisting" me, Danny but it is the same way on the phone. Go to tire kingdom they are much happier to serve you.

Staff in tire center is always helpful and quick, they must do a ton of cars every day. Walk-in as early as you can if you don't want to wait long. This Costco is kind of crazy in general and by lunch you're gonna be waiting till end of day. You can also make online reservations for certain maintenance things. Tires have a pretty good warranty too. I just got a free patch job because I was under milage covered.
