Bought my winter tires here. Reasonable prices, but good luck ever getting an appointment for install. First come first serve walk ins can have 5 hour wait. You're probably better off buying your tires some place else.

It's imperative you make an appointment because if you walk in and have any service done then you'll wait approximately 2 hours versus 1 hour or less if you have an appointment.

My frustration with Costco tire centers is that they sell you tires with what seem to be wonderful guarantees and value added benefits, but try to get a tire fixed or your tires rotated at their center and you better schedule several hours...at least. Yesterday I went in to get a nail puncture repaired for 'free'. "2hrs" with a grimace. I went next door to Firestone and had it repaired in 10 minutes. Costcos are understaffed and frustrating. By the way, if you don't have Costco do the repairs or if you can't schedule the 2hr wait for a rotation and you are late on the rotation then surprise, the guarantees are voided. I wonder if anyone has ever collected on a guarantee? I've bought several sets of tires and each time toward the end of their life I heard, "There seems to be a slight alignment issue with your car", and guess what? Guarantee is voided. I wonder if every customer magically has a slight alignment issue? I'll go elsewhere next time. I might pay a few dollars more but get so much better service.

Let me straighten some misconceptions up on these reviews to try to save others time. The people that work here are awesome, but extremely busy. DO NOT go earlier than store hours - they are not open. Yes, I saw the person that posted a pic of a sign about 7am and the other to walk in the fire door. NO. That info must be old. DO try your best to get an appt by going on their website. I actually spoke to one of the guys that work there (people complaining about them obviously haven't actually spoken to them). He was so nice. He didn't have the tires I wanted (I walked in), but he called over to Westminster and got me an appt same day. He also explained that Arvada Costco is THE busiest Costco on the front range - and not just for tires. This is not for someone that wants to get out of there quickly. Be flexible and willing to surrender the vehicle for the day and Uber out of there.

I have been here twice in 3 years. The last time in 2017 was good. We got a good deal for 4 tires and the service was great. However, today I was disappointed with the service. I got a flat tire, and wanted to get it repaired. I took it to two professional tire shops yesterday and they both told me it was only a small hole and no damage inside, so it is repairable. But with the trust to Costco, I still decided to take it to the Costco Tire Center for repair. After about two hours, the technician gave me a call and told me it was unrepairable. I explained that I have already had it checked and it should be repairable. Then the technician told me okay it was repairable (Did you just said it was unrepairable???) but the tire condition is too old and they did not want to repair it because it will put me in danger (My tire only had 16,000 miles and only 4 years). I said okay, can you just repair it for this time because even if I order a new tire it still needs time to be shipped to the store and I cannot use the spare for a long time. Then they just told me rudely that the they will not repair it anyway. They did not refund the repair fee either. I was totally upset. Finally I took it to another store with a great reputation and they just fixed the problem without any questions. They also guaranteed that it was a very small hole and I will have no problem at all. I understand that Costco may not make money by performing such a small repair. And understand what they told me about danger. However, they just ruinned my trust to them. If you think you are charging too little for the repair, you can increase the price according to the accident or the materials you use. But you cannot lie to your customer by persuading them buying tires and refusing the repair.

I was asking about replacing Run Flat tires with regular tires. They told me that unless I have a spare, they can't sell me regular tires?? I decide to tires without a spare what business is it of theirs? They can not be held liable, and if I do have flat or blow out, I can use a can of Slime or call my roadside service. In fact have a blowout on regular tires probably insures that I will get a tire just about anywhere, not so with Run Flats! End result,. You are not doing the customer any favors!!

Ordered and paid for tires on Monday, was told they would be delivered the next day and I could bring the vehicle in any time for install. Called the next day at 11:30 to make sure it was still okay to bring in for install, they said yes bring it in. Wasted my lunch and a co-workers lunch to drop the vehicle off for the afternoon so they would have plenty of time to install. They said they would call when they were done, 5:30 came, still no call. So I call them, the tires were never delivered like I was told. Wasted my co-workers time and fuel again to drive me to pick up the vehicle. I was then told that the tires would definitely be there the next day and they would call me as soon as they came in. Again, 5:30 came, no phone call, so I call them. They show 8 in stock now but can't find them in the shop so the manager ordered another set that would be in Thursday and that since it had been such a difficult task that when I brought the vehicle in, they would get it in right away so I wouldn't have to waste any more time. Thursday morning, I had to call, again, because they can't simply call to give you the good feeling inside that the tires had actually made it this time. Yet again, waste my lunch and my co-workers lunch and fuel to drop it off and I was going to just wait since they said they would get it right in so I wouldn't have to waste more time. Drop it off, they say it is going to be 2.5 hours wait so I tell them just make sure to call when it's done. 5:30 comes yet again, and I am the one who has to call to check if it is done. Literally, it's like pulling teeth to get an ounce of customer service out of these people!! If you like to waste time and fuel and destroy brain cells out of frustration, go stop into Costco Tire Center Arvada, they can help you there. But that is the only thing they'll help you with.

Beware when you buy tires here. I was quoted at $480 over the phone. I thought it was a great price so I made an appointment to get new tires. When I showed up they charged me $100 dollars more. If I didn't need the tires so badly I would have gone elsewhere. The customer behind me also experienced something similar that day.

Made an appointment to change tires on 5:45 pm and as of 7:10 pm now my car is still standing in the parking lot waiting to be in for the service. People in the garage who are supposedly workkng are not doing their job. By the way, where are they?? What is the point to have an appointment for the service if it does not work at all. One of the worst tire center ever.

Bought four Michelin tires with 90k miles warranty for my wife's mini van 35k miles ago. Just had to change them since they were worn out. The guy at Costco told me he'd be happy to honor the warranty if I could provide documentation the tires were rotated regularly. After putting the service documents together I was told that although they were rotated properly I didn't have documentation that I properly inflated the tires every month. Ended up paying for all new tires with $0 warranty!

Told me to show up at 8am to get new tires put on SUV., I did and was 15th person on the list...apparently they started opening at 7 and nobody told this person. Said car was going to be done by noon maybe earlier. I walked to Panera to spend the morning and came back at noon. I waited another hour and fourty five minutes on a steel bench for my SUV that was in their garage...worst service ever. Change your policy! Hire employees to make appointments and stick to your word! Horrible business model to make people wait all day for tires.

Took my car to Costco in July to get my snow tires switched out to my all season tires. Noticed a few weeks ago, that my car was having some alignment issues. Brought my car back last week, was told two of my tires rims were bent. Took my car to my mechanic this morning and was told that was not the case and that car just needed an alignment. Super disappointed that I was told inaccurate information by Costco and they have definitely lost me as a customer. Not someone I would recommend taking a car to.

The good: Great price on tires and install. Good warranty with free inflation/rotation/balance. The bad: The service. I arrived for a 2:30 "appointment" at 2:15. It took over 15 minutes for the person at the counter to look up my order, find my tires, and have me sign the paperwork. Then he told me it would be around an hour and a half to two hours until they were done, but then remarked that with the appointment it should only be an hour and a half. Seriously? Are you kidding? I specifically came at that time when they offer "appointments" so I wouldn't have to wait long. I would have been better off going another time when the store wasn't as busy and just waiting in line, especially since they were saying 45-60 minutes to walk-ins as I was waiting. It ended up taking an hour and 40 minutes until I got my car. I like the price, but you get what you pay for in service.

Casey The tire supervisor went above and beyond for me when I had a blown out tire. He didn’t have it in stock, but called a sister location who reserved the tire and had it waiting for me an hour later. Great customer service.

Literally, buy your tires anywhere else but here - EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE! A total LACK of customer service completely wipes out any monetary benefits of doing business with Costco Tire Center. And not opening UNTIL 10 AM...? I don't know about you, but my day is practically half over by 10 am and they are just showing up for work? Opening at 10 am might be okay when you're buying the giant economy size box of stuff. It is NOT okay when you need help with your vehicle! When I first bought the tires, it took 7 days to get them. When they arrived, they wanted to schedule installation a week out. I got it faster, but only after having to beg and leave my car with them all day. On another occasion, they had my car for 5 hours to fix a tire, and that was after waiting in line for 30 minutes just to talk to a counter person. This week, I took it in for a rotation and to check two tires for nails. After having my vehicle most the day, they only checked one tire. The next day it's leaking and here we go again. Rude staff telling me to stand in line (for their mistake) and yes they will need my car all day, AGAIN! They obviously don't want or need my business.

I called the day before (Tuesday) to see if my tires were in stock and they were. I was lucky I got through on the phone because I had called earlier on the weekend and couldn’t get through. I arrived at 7:04 am on Wednesday and there was only one person’s car ahead of me and so I was done by 7:44 am (I only needed two tires). I barely had enough time to check my stack of unopened mail and eat my breakfast at Starbucks. The guy who helped me, Jimmy, was really nice. It may have helped that there was a special on 4 Michelin tires installed for a penny each over the previous weekend which I didn’t take advantage of. Everyone may have rushed in to do their tires then.

Called the day I wanted to get tires installed and had an appointment same day a few hours later. Tires were installed 40 minutes after I dropped off the car. Experience was quick and easy. Costco offers great deals on Michelin tires and a handful of other benefits.

They have very good price tires. If you have membership, you can order michelin tire for very good price online. Tire installed perfect, the cost for service is also good. But I will not give it 5 star for the long time waiting and not friendly service. I have an appointment online, and I get there 15 min before. But I wait about 30 min. The staff works very inefficient. The front desk was left unattended for 15 minutes and everyone stood waiting. And what makes me feel uncomfortable is that an staff made joke of my English. He may not be deliberate, but I feel uncomfortable. I am not a native speaker, and I know my English is not good. But he should not do that. BTW The staff did good service when I pick up my car, so the service quality you got is depends.

Love Costco but would not recommend buying tires at Costco in Arvada anyway. They rarely answer their phone and others in the store can do nothing about it. They also make excuses about being short staffed and try to quote ridiculous time for a tire rotation. When I accept their 8 hour window for a tire rotation, he then told me they might even have to keep it over night and call me some time the next day. Very disappointing considering how much I usually promote Costco to everyone.

I was filling gas at Costcos in Brookfield today when a fellow customer pointed out that my tire pressure was very low in one of my tires. I'd never filled air in a tire before as my husband always fills them for me but he was away today and I was worried about being stuck on the highway to work tomorrow. The gentleman who pointed out the air pressure told me that someone at the tire center would fill it out for me if I drove there right now. It was around 7 pm and the tire center was still open. I told them I'd never filled a tire before and could they show me how to do it. Promptly, a gentleman named Francisco filled all four of my tires for me within minutes. I had laryngitis and could barely speak above a whisper. He urged me to get back in the car so I don't get cold and more sick! I wanted to thank him but he refused to accept a gratuity. Against store policy he said despite my insistence. I am writing because I wanted to thank Costco and Francisco in particular for his efficient and friendly service. I will never forget his genuine kindness.

Technicians in this Costco Tire Center have very bad knowledge/skills about tires. Not longer ago, I bought two sets of tires from them, one set for my truck and another set for my Camry. Everything was fine at the beginning, but after a while the horseshoe light on the dashboard of my truck lit up. Couple months ago, I dropped by this Costco tire place to have them check the air pressure and fix the horseshoe light. The guy added more air to the tires but the horseshoe light didn't go away. He checked all the tire sensors but nothing was wrong with them either. He thought it might be the spare tire but refused to look at it because he didn't have time to check it. He wanted me to set an appointment to take it back at a later time for them to check the spare tire and its sensor. I set appointment and yesterday took it back but they could not fix the horseshoes light either. The guy from yesterday said he checked the spare tire, but it came with no sensor. He asked me to take it to Toyota to have them check it because Toyota has better technologies than this Costco Tire Center. A few months ago, I also bought two front tires from them for my Corvette. They ordered the two tires without the knowledge that they didn't even have the right tools to change the tires for the Corvette. When I took the Corvette in for the new tires, the guy called the Costco main center and the center didn't want them touch the Corvette because Costco Tire Center was not equipped to handle the Corvette. I was going to take the two tires to another place, so I could have the other place replace them. Guess what, I was told that they also ordered the wrong tires for the Corvette. I wasted so much time and energy with them due to their lack of knowledge and skills about tires.

Your tire center customer service is just terrible. It seems like you try harder to make buying new tires as difficult as possible, than you ever do at making it a seamless transaction. What is the purpose of a warranty, if you only honor it when the tires are properly rotated but your tire center never has availability to do the rotation? I have bought upwards of 40 tires from your store but will be looking for a new dealer for my next set. ***** Update: Just tried to get one of these tires under warrantee (19,000 miles, wire showing in the middle of the tread); I was told that there is some other problem but not the tire. This Costco never stands by their warranties. Just a terrible tire shop.

Costco does great work, their people are professional and their tire techs are extremely helpful. They will even fill your tires with air for free regardless of where you bought them. Just pull up to the bay and flag down a tech. They'll stop whatever they're doing to help you. Great, great, great team they have.

SUV needed a jump - went to Costco tire to see if they could help ( they sell batteries as well ) - male employee I talked to said they couldn’t help me but could call someone - reiterated I had a 6 month pregnant wife - employee persisted they didn’t have anything there to help me - Typical island brush off no one working at a auto store there could jump me or had cables or a portable jump start ?( irony I bought the small jump Starter at Costco let it charge but it’s not good didn’t work) - unless you’re related , local “ohana “ - no aloha no one willing to help - My family helps anyone without prejudice - we practice aloha to everyone who is kind and respectful - shame on others who discriminate - like the employee yesterday - Won’t be using Costco for car services -#alohatoall

Cheaper then discount! Bought all four new at Costco and saved $250 over discount. 2 months later I had a flat from a nail that they couldn’t fix. They ordered me a new tire and had it rushed. Replaced the next day for free. Great customer service!

Good product and price, terrible service. They inflated my tires to 36 psi while it should be 31psi. I found this after several days driving and felt my car became hard to control. I call them, they just let me send car back and hang up. When I came back, the recipient, said he is the supervisor, just said several pounds pressure difference was not a problem. They sometimes had this thing happened because they need handle different cars everyday! So if you get new tires from here or are going to do so, double check the pressure yourselves!

1. I was told that once they get it done they will call me and let me know, I waited for more then 4 hours no one called me. Then I stopped by their place and found they got it done in 2 hours but they did not call me! They wasted my time! 2. I told them to keep the good tire for me I will keep it as a backup but they threw it. I talked to the front desk and they asked me to check with the people in the working area. I got in the working area, they people there yelled at me and let me get out, I was told to come here and did not notice I could not get in. Their attitude is really bad. Eventually they found the tire and gave it to me but no one helped me, I just take it back in my car all by my self. Gosh!my hand got dirty. 3. When I picked out the key, the front desk told me the tire sensor should work now. But after I started my car, it still did not work. I went back to the front desk and they asked me to go back to the working area and then I found the people there, they told me to drive for a couple of hours then the sender will start to work by itself. Let’s see...I don’t trust them any more. What a terrible experience! If I could choose, I would rather go to sam’s clubs’ auto center!!!

I love Costco and have saved LOTS on money on my mortgage (saved over $1300 in closing costs and fees) and products. Their return policy is great, never a hassle with a defective product. So why only 3 stars? Parking is such a hassle. Literally have to flight for a space. Insufficient handicapped spaces. Checkout lines are LONG. I like their cash back. Excellent quality products like prime meats, quality olive oils, great cheeses, speciality foods (tabouleh and hummus. Great fresh bagels. Good selection of smoked salmon. I prefer BJ's, almost next door which is similar and fast less crowed in store, checkout and parking. Check out BJs reviews.

I have been coming here for six years. I was there for four and a half hours, with my four month old, waiting for them to change my tires to the winter tires. They never called me. (They verified my correct phone number before I left) when I finally called they said they have tried to contact me. Once I got home I went to take my tires out of the car, they were my snow tires. They never changed them. When I went back they apologized and changed my tires.

I was afraid to get tires from this Costco because of the horrible ratings. This morning we were one of the first waiting for the tire center to open. Didn’t know you had to walk through the Fire Exit door and through the tires to get to their desk. Since the main Costco store is close until 10am, walk through the Fire Exit door at 8am for the tire center. Our car was done just after 9am. Awesome!

I have a 1-ton Dodge Ram 3500 dually truck, with a 13-foot Gregor boat mounted on top. It easily fits under the Costco doors, but some tire-center foreman decided it wouldn't, even though it has been there for tires before. His decision is final, of course, so I asked for the $963 refund of the four tires I had just bought -- ohh, and the truck had been inspected by one of the tire-center fellows before I bought the new tires, and he made no comment about the foreman possibly refusing to mount the tires. It is frustrating to have gone to all the trouble, and to know that the truck will fit inside their doors, and to have some half-bright fellow say it won't. Costco lost nearly a $1000 sale due to this fellow's dimness.

They are very efficient here. It is not as busy as other tire centers I feel like, so I like to take my car here for tire rotation.

Cosco will only service your tires if they are bought there. Even with a membership, they would not do a simple tire rotation with out costco bought tires. I will be looking elsewhere when I need tires.

Great customer service. I had a nail in my tire (tires were purchased at Costco) and was going on a road trip 2 days later. They were booked out on appointments for 2 weeks, but somehow ordered new tires under my warranty because they were not fixable and recommended doing a walk-in appt. Within 1 day and 1.5 hours later I was good to go. Great accommodations and tire stock for the area. It also helps that they are open late like the rest of the store.

If I could give negative stars I would. Terrible customer service. Called to make an appointment and person on the phone argued with me for ten minutes about how he couldn't give me one (it was not due to technical difficulties or that they didn't have any appointments - they DID have appointments available! He just wouldn't give me one.) Called back on a different day, explained my situation and again was unable to make an appointment.

If you do use them, make sure your tire is the right size. It was my fault, I ordered tires when I got a new vehicle without actually having possession of it. That was my fault, they said I could come back in a couple of days for the right size. It was all good up until then. The difference appeared to be $60, then when they asked me to charge my card the difference was $160 for a 1" difference in rim size. I told them to forget it. I used their online service to select the model. I didn't expect this... It took them 50 minutes to get me my money back, and it was in cash. So I had to go to my bank. Took an hour and a half to get all of this figured out, plus going to the bank. Not a fun way to spend the afternoon off of work. It was partially my fault, but it could have been a lot smoother than it was. I'm going to buy the right size tires elsewhere, partly out of shame, partly due to poor service. The online options are also pretty limited as far as sizes go. You can definitely fit larger sizes on a truck than what their online selection recommends. Just saying...
