Great tires, great job, the only flaw is the wait time but that happens when you are an "in hight demand" tire shop going into winter and everyone wants their winter tires or a stuffing job done. But we are very happy with our tires and with the job well done.

Surely some business can do a better job for loyal customers than the no appt approach to tire changes. There s got to be an online scheduling program that would facilitate this. You could charge a schedule fee that is forfeited for no shows. You could even charge extra for appts. The amount of time this wastes your loyal customers is not good customer service, and probably has a significant negative impact in lost productivity across all sectors of Anchorage if someone like ICER would measure it. Surely some business can do better.

Great same-day service and very nice! I was referred to Alyeska Tire by Casey (thanks again!) because his company didn't have a set of four matching tires which I badly needed. The team at Alyeska Tire verified my vehicle's requirements, checked their inventory and changed my tires in one afternoon. Do you like basically being called an idiot?? When I came in the first thing I asked the guy at the front desk are y’all going to use clip weights on my AFTERMARKET wheels. He told me confidently “we wouldn’t do that because it would be pointless and it would scratch the wheels” When I got my truck back I checked the fronts of the wheels to make sure they weren’t scratched and they weren’t they were good BUT then when I got home later I flipped my spare in the bed to find not only clip weights on my AFTERMARKET wheels but they also dug into my paint on all my wheels getting my old sticky weights off!!!! When I told the first kid about the scratches I was told “oh that’s normal how else would we remove the sticky weights” and then asked me if I wanted my tires rebalanced because of the dang clip weights!! Ya I want more scratches on my wheels...no thanks!!! I was in such disbelief of the customer service I came back about an hour later to talk to the man that told me they wouldn’t put clip weights on my AFTERMARKET wheels, who I also would believe to be the manager. Who told me he had a meeting with “his guys” about installing clip weights on AFTERMARKET wheels but also he told me they just happen to scratch wheels sometimes. So not only does he know his guys scratch clients wheels BUT he also was fully aware of the fact that his guys put clip weights on a customers wheels and never said anything! Never coming back here again!

Great products and people. The employees are honest, helpful and very knowledgeable. Their prices aren’t always the lowest, but they add value in areas such as knowledge, free alignment check and standing behind their products (with more statewide locations than Costco for sure). The prices are still competitive with other retail shops in town or purchasing/ shipping tires from the lower 48.

I went to Alyeska tire yesterday, in a bit of a hurry to get new tires and concerned because I was having trouble finding what I needed in town. They provided an accurate quote and had the car ready 2.5 hours later. I received high quality tires for less than the three other vendors I received quotes from in town. The warranty package on the tires is exceptional and the customer service was awesome. I'm really happy with my experience at Alyeska Tire.

In the past Alyeska has provided great service, however, tonight was a much different story. I brought a tire in to be patched at 4:40. I did not realize that the store closed at 5:00, as Google has the hours listed as 6:00 for closing. I was met with indifference and apologized that I didn’t know they closed in 20 minutes. They pride themselves on customer service, but it should be more like customer avoidance. It was clear that everyone wanted to go home for the night and no attempt was made to try and repair my tire, a task that should’ve taken 5-10 minutes... I was asked to come back in the morning which was extremely inconvenient given they don’t open until 9:00. I have to be to work prior to that time and their “customer service” has put me in a bind.

I'd give them no stars if it was possible. They tell me to show up an hour before they opened. They were supposed to order tires for me. Not only did they not order tires they kept my car for 5 hours ... until I called to see if they were done before they told me they hadn't ordered the tires. They wasted an entire Saturday. Then I went to Alaska Tire who was much much better they matched the price on my Nokkian tires and had them installed an hour after I showed up.

Discovered a screw in my tire, you could hear the air leaking out. That was at 5:30, called Aleyeska Tire. Asked what time they closed - 6 o'clock. Described my problem, Rich said show up before 6 and we'll get you taken care of. Made it and sure enough! Within 30 minutes of arriving, screw removed, tire patched and happy customer back on the road. Awesome customer service!

I came in early and they didn't appear busy. It was just to have an old tire pulled off a rim and swapped onto my spare (which recently blew out). I was in and out in like 25 mins. Cost 26.00$ and they got rid of my old blown out tire. Thanks Guys

After another tire shop in town (Alaska tire service) TWICE put bad sets of tires that either had holes or didn't fit; then wouldn't put on another set I had purchased on my own because they weren't stock size. Alyeska had me in that afternoon and soon had my tires changed over without issue. Such better service.
