I went with a flat tire they made me leave to go get my paperwork, which was in my truck on the side of the road. Something so simple as looking up my member number. Then I came back to get my spare fixed and they didn’t even take the time to go look at my truck to see what I needed. Instead was trying to sell me a new tire rather than just listening. I got so frustrated I left and ended up just going to the one in Hoover. Which by the way is the best sam’s club in Birmingham. The customer service there is amazing. I will never come back to this tire center. The do not seek resolutions nor try to help you. The service is trash.

I've had good experiences with SamsClub tires in the past. Something changed there. I went there early to get 4 new tires for my car. There were no other customers and the installer told me it would take 45 minutes, and he would call me if it was done sooner. I took over 2 hours. No explanation, no apology. I am never going back.

went to fix the flat tire, week later another tire store showed me Sam's didn't done right, so I had to go back to Sam's again, spend hour, the Supervisor said her didn't do instead apology. (of course He didn't do. but one of Sam's club employee did it. that means He has responsibility)

This has been nothing but a disappointment. I went to Ford initially and they told me new tires would $1000. I thought “surely I can do better than that at Sam’s.” Wrong. I may have gotten tire and install for $600, but these mechanics DID NOT KNOW AND DID NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES to take the two-piece locking lug nuts from my Ford. Here are the things that transpired: 1. First visit, didn’t have but one type of tire in the size I needed. I was told to go home and order some from the website. Great, that’s fine with me. 2. Tires purchased from website did not fit my car DESPITE me typing the year, make, and model of my car onto their tire bank. Told to order another set. 3. Order second set of tires from online, go to store to have them put on. I hang out in the store for THREE HOURS while they’re “replacing my tires.” I finally get fed up of waiting and ask why it’s taking so long, only to be told THEY HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO GET THE LUG NUTS OFF OF MY CAR. Why wasn’t I CALLED or PAGED while I sat in the store after 30 minutes of trying. I get told I need to purchase new lug nuts. 4. $100 and 20 lug nuts later I’m back at Sam’s. At this point I have already paid for the tires, install, and a complete set of lug nuts ($700). Once again I go sit on the patio furniture for what I suspect to be an hour while they replace tires. 1.5 hours later I’m starting to get concerned again. I go back to the tire center to see what’s up, and what do you know. One tire is off and they’re SCRATCHING THEIR HEADS AT THE LOCKING LUG NUTS AGAIN. The mechanic proceeds to tell me that I need to go to ANOTHER TIRE STORE TO GET THEM TO CHANGE THE LUG NUTS TO THE ONES I PURCHASED. I drive across town to a tire place where they replace my lug nuts in a matter of minutes. $10. 5. Now back to Sam’s at 6:45 (tire place closes at 7:00, but the guy swears he’s going to get it done today because of the trouble I’ve gone through). He decides to take his dear sweet time finding an outlet to plug his phone in and check his text messages, because that’s clearly vital in order to change my tires. I arrived initially at 3:00, and my tires are still not done at 7:15. I have spent, in its entirety, MORE than a work day getting my tires replaced, which when you consider costs, etc. was MORE EXPENSIVE than spending $1000 to get the dealership to replace my tires. Moral of the story: I WILL NOT be back to this location to get my tires changed ever. “Save” your money and go somewhere else where the mechanics are better equipped, more knowledgeable, and less lazy.

Sadly, this place makes me crazy each and every time I go. Cashiers walk away from their open registers, c.o.s. leads have no sense of urgency and walk slowly to assist if they can be bothered to show up, people cannot be taken away from their conversations with other employees to service members, and, to top it off, their produce is horrible. I love Sam's and have worked for the company in the past in a customer service/marketing role and am now a director of customer service for another company. As a result, this club frustrates me beyond belief, since I know how members can and should be treated. The leadership in this club should promptly be fired and replaced with someone who will hold people accountable and keep the place clean.

The person running the battery sales counter was unable to tell me which battery was the proper one for my car. “One is a little wider than the other one” isn’t a proper answer when I ask the difference between the two. Save your time and go to the Auto Zone at the corner of Green Springs and Valley Ave. Those folks were incredibly helpful.

I bought from Sam's Club in Oklahoma since we travel to bham a lot to see family. They couldn't look up my tire warranty info at the tire and battery desk to honor the tire rotation service and roadside hazard policy I bought with the set of tires 6 mo. ago. Was sent to customer service desk where I waited in a long line of people returning Christmas presents. Why, would the tire and battery center not be able to look this up? Why do I nèd to bring my paperwork with me to get services that they sold me? Is this not the 21st century?

The associate LaDarius was very rude. I had wires sticking out of my tire and he proceeds to tell me I can go to roebuck since I didn't have my card. Someone had to drive 40mins to bring the card because he said, " I won't take the number over the phone". Horrible customer service. He told me what tire I needed and by the time the card got there he was outside. I proceed to tell the other associate what tire LaDarius said I needed and he walked back in and yelled at the other associate from the length of the store, saying she can only get one tire and said the name of the tire. I was very dissatisfied with Sam's Tire experience and I will not go back nor recommend anyone use them.
