The prices are so great at Howard Bentley, I flew across the country to pick up the car and drive back. From start to finish, the buying experience was perfect and exactly what I wanted. No crazy hidden dealer fees, they had the best vehicle for the best price. I even was picked up at the airport free of charge. The paperwork was all ready to go upon my arrival, and I was back on the road in less than 30 mins. No high pressure undercoating or extended warranty pitch hassle. There was a minor issue with my tire wear, but Jeff Adams and the staff at Howard Bentley promptly made it right and bought me a new set of tires no questions asked, even though they didn't have to on a used car. Buy with confidence, this dealership embodies integrity in an industry where that trait is usually lacking. just a great deal finished quickly. I'll be headed back to Alabama for my future car purchases!

Bait and switch to start off on the phone? The truck we were quoted did not have the cameras we specifically requested. Human error or intentional hard to say. We drove 2.5hrs up and back then discussed on the phone several times. Drive back up only to be lied to by the finance person David. 12hrs of my life I will never get back. The owner made no effort to try and recover the sale, Wayne Bentley did not even try and return my calls. Just pass on this place it may look like a great deal, but you can negotiate a better price than the “Howard Bentley Price” elsewhere. Edit while I appreciate your response Mr Bentley was left numerous messages to call me and did not return those calls.

Worth the trip from central Florida (620 miles) to purchase my new Sierra. Was able to make the deal over phone, text, and email. No surprises or BS! Let me start by saying this. I have been looking at new Sierras accross the country for the past 8 months. This dealer has always been at the top of my list in price and selection. Their advertised prices aren’t BS either. All dealers in Florida were about $3500 more than Howard Bentley. No one in Florida could come close to their prices. I worked with “B” Betty and she was prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. She helped me set up my Buick lease drop off at their dealer as well. I drove up to Atlanta on a Sunday night and spent the night. Got on the road early and made it to the dealer shortly after they opened on Monday. I was there about an hour to finalize the paperwork and my lease drop off. No surprises with what I was quoted via email and what I signed. I made it home from Albertville to Lakeland in about 9 hours. I pulled in my driveway at 8:30 that night, it was a pretty easy drive considering. They also helped my with figuring out my state taxes and were prompt with sending the tax check. I picked up the truck Monday and that Thursday I had my check for my local tax collector office in my mailbox to pay taxes and register in the state of Florida. If you live out of state or out of the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Howard Bentley. They handled my out of state purchase seamlessly. It was worth the 1,200 plus mile drive. Thank you B! I have bought two vehicle prior to this 2018 terrain from Howard Bently and had wonderful services. This buying experience was not. I had appointment and waited over a hour to even speak with a sales rep. My sales Rep was Bobby Stephens he was nice and friendly, but misleading when explaining the vehicle. I was told the vehicle had Navigations, when we where on the test drive. Did not find out till after the vehicle was already purchased that it did not. I returned the next day with another apt at 2:30 to buy the vehicle. I had to wait over three hours to see the same rep did not finish the purchase till 7:00 p.m. Then I was not shown any fetchers because he also had another sale going at the same time. The next day Wednesday Oct 3rd, 2018 I sent Bobby a text stating the SD was not in the vehicle & the navigation would not work, I still have the text messages. He said that he would order me one or have it over nighted, but I was going out town and needed my navgations system. He then told me to go back to dealership and they would help. I did and they could not. Then I was told they would have to talk with the service department and get back with me. Everyday for the last three weeks I’ve contacted them and everyday is the same I will get back with you until yesterday when I was told that I could not get navagations for my vehicle. I am extremely upset will not be going back nor referring anyone.

Have a 2014 GMC Sierra. Besides routine service I recently had the driver's side bottom leather seat covering repalced due to long term scuffing and general appearance. Perfectly done. Was satisfied so much so paid for a whole vehicle detail and wash. 6 + hrs. Again very satisfied. The pricing here is very fair and the work speaks volumes. Always polite and neighborly. Plan on purchasing a 2020 model soon, and will definitely be in touch do it here. More to the story than price, the service department ( Shawn) is a true relief to do business with. The service was great. I even had a question regarding a letter that I received from GMC about a possible problem with my side detection system. Even though the issue mentioned in the letter was not what was affecting my side detection system, Shawn, contacted GMC and they are going to cover some of the cost of replacing the malfunctioning part due to it being covered before but the time to get it repaired while GMC would cover it apparently ran out before I purchased my vehicle. So that will help me save some money. That was something he didn't have to look into but I am grateful he did. Customer waiting area is very nice and stocked with beverages and snacks.

These ppl took advantage of an elderly woman then left her in the parking lot alone after dark. 2 days after getting vehicle she reached out to the salesman about not being able to open the door due to it being to heavy (he should have noticed) also the fact she told them she'd rather purchase not lease then found out she's leasing it. So she's had a vehicle for 1.5yr that has 2000 miles because she can't get in it to drive it. Howard Bentley staff should be ashamed.

I had to get a new key and fob for my GMC truck, things went fine at the dealership but the key fob does not work and when I open the door with the key the horn goes off and blows until I put the key in and crank the truck. I plan to come back in to have the fob reprogramed but just have not have time.

By far one of the best vehicle purchasing experiences I have had. It didnt start very good with me being so far away and dealing with the wrong people. I was pre-approved looking for a specific vehicle, in a specific price range. Upon first contacting Howard-Bentley, I spoke to Gregg and Austin. My experience with these two individuals was not pleasant. I felt extremely ignored and it took me being assertive for the guys to start taking me seriously. I gave up on attempting to purchase the vehicle and wasting my time driving 6 hours one way. I still made the trip initially and detoured to Atlanta instead, due to the distaste from telephone conversations. Two weeks later, after persistently looking for the specific color combo, I decided to try again. This time I spoke to an individual by the name of Jeremy. Jeremy was extremely professional, helpful, personable, and communicative. I felt very comfortable driving 6 hours to come and look at the vehicle this time. I took my chances and proceeded to making the trip. I purchased the vehicle from another individual, Jose, due to Jeremy's emergency absence. Jose was very helpful, straight forward, personable, and professional. I also had the pleasure of dealing with the finance manager Brian. He was also very professional, personable, and extremely helpful. The transaction was extremely pleasant and smooth. I never felt pressured, intimidated, or forced into any additional obligations. I will definitely do business with this company again and specifically with Jeremy, Jose, and Brian. Absolutely love my new BMW M5.

I bought a 2018 GMC Sierra with only 15 miles on it. I have a problem with transmission ever since I took possession of the vehicle. I feel the truck should have a new transmission put in it, but i am told GM won't do that. I have paid a lot of money for this truck and seems unfair to me that GM is not willing to make things right with the transmission. This is no reflection on the service I receive, the service I receive at Howard Bentley is excellent, but I feel like GM should make this right.

I took my acadia in to have the timing set....they charged over $3,000 and it still isn't right. The mechanic put parts on it that had nothing to do with time and had already been replaced a week prior. Anyone could tell by looking that the parts he took out were brand new (the engine had just be rebuilt). It's back there now and we were told a different mechanic would look at it this time, but the car will sit there for a week before anyome can get to it. I could have dealt with all of this had they not ripped me off for $3,000. A call would have been appropriate to see if I wanted to spend that much. I didn't. I could have told them some of the parts they replaced were brand new if the mechanic wasn't good enough to tell. I hope they enjoy that 3k, it's the last dime they will ever get from me.

I never went to the dealership, I found the truck that I wanted online and everything was completed either over the phone or via email. They quoted me a price for my trade and stuck with that price, even though they never looked at it. The truck I purchased was exactly as advertised. My salesman was Jeff, he was professional, but easy to deal with at the same time. He was very responsive to both texts and emails. They delivered the truck to my house and picked up my trade in, that is when I signed all of the paperwork. Overall, it was the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever made.

Great customer service salesman was very attentive and helped even after the sale on the way home we had a blow out and had to stop at another GMC dealership and they wouldn't warranty the tire or offer assistance called Firestone and took it to one of their shops and they said it was mounted improperly at the factory and our salesman and Howard Bentley stepped in to make it right wrote us a check and apologized. Above and beyond what was expected. Will be back to buy my new Truck in 6 months!

There is a certain level of professionalism I'd expect from a dealership and its rep's. After speaking with the online sales department I decided to head to Howard Bentley to purchase a vehicle I had been looking for. I live in Panama City, Fl so I decided to take off as early as possible as it was a 6 hour drive. I kept in contact throughout my drive with a rep that I was told would be assisting me when I arrived, Aaron Todd. I informed him I had a 6 hour drive. He also knew that I was coming to purchase this specific vehicle. He even sent me a link t the video of the interior of the vehicle. I notified Aaron when I was 30 min away as well. Once I arrived Aaron introduced himself to me, gave me the keys to the car and told me I could look it over while he assisted other clients. When I was done inspecting the car I drove it up to the front of the dealership as I was ready to purchase. I walked back in the dealership and was approached by a different rep asking for the keys to the car. 30 seconds later Aaron walks out and informs me the car had been sold to another buyer. So even after I arrived he still didn't know the car had already been sold. So I drove 6 hours basically for nothing. Honestly this is the most unprofessional experience I've had with any dealership. Even when I questioned him he couldn't even tell me WHEN it was sold. All I got was a pitiful "sorry". There has got to be standards in place to keep this from happening. And if there was, is anyone up there following them? I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Let me start by saying I live in Florida and this had to have been a great deal in order for me to drive all the way to Alabama. I ended up purchasing a 2019 5.3L AT4 fully loaded from Tyler. I’ve been shopping around since last October and this was the best deal I’ve ever found since then. I did shop around and no other dealership was able to offer what HB Buick GMC was offering. Not only was the truck already discounted but I qualified for additional rebates & they gave me what I needed for my trade in (which I was upside down on). I didn’t end up financing through GM, rates were too high imo, so I went with a local credit union. My sales rep, Tyler, did a great job coming through clutch and following through a sale that many others turned down because I was out of town. Great work ethic and great follow up throughout the process. Total process was about a week and a half of communication and multiple follow ups on behalf of the dealership. I am blown away honestly. By the quality of this truck and by the customer service. When a company goes above and beyond to not only earn the business but also give a little, truly goes a long way. I’m sure they will continue on setting the standard across the south for GMC BUICK dealerships. Amazing customer service. Shop here, you won’t regret it.

We live in Florida and have been in search of a 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 for almost two month. We found many, but not at a reasonable price. This meant we had to open up our search to other surrounding states, which eventually lead to us finding the truck we now own at Howard Bentley. We owe a huge thank you to Fernando for working with us on this deal. He was incredibly helpful and willing to work with us to meet the expectations we had set for our truck buying experience. The type of service that he offered was truly one of a kind and not something we got from any representative at the many dealers in Florida that we'd worked with. Looking back now, I think we can agree that the service we got from him is what ultimately lead up to us finalizing the deal. Fernando know that that we were located in Central Florida and that from us to him was about a 9 hour drive. He also knew that we only had one day this weekend to come get the vehicle if everything worked out because the next month was already booked with alternate plans. We signed on the deal Saturday morning, and Fernando offered to have a drive meet us halfway in Georgia to get the vehicle. This was the icing on top of the cake as far as service goes. Even the two gentleman who delivered the vehicle were extremely nice and friendly. Overall, huge Kudos to Fernando and the team he had behind him to make all of this happen. No sooner than us leaving the parking lot with our brand new truck we both agreed that we will 100% go through no other dealer when the time comes for us to purchase our next truck! Not impressed with a used car I tried they had. This place isn't a small junk car dealership it's a huge regional size dealership that shouldn't have junk on the lot. This car made a clear and loud noise in the front drivetrain I heard multiple times before even getting out of the car lot. Took it directly back without any further test drive and told the salesman, who then drove it around the lot also but said it wasn't making any noise. This was a bold lie because my father and I could both hear it even outside the car as the salesman turned it slowly 40 feet away. I had a few more cars they had for sale in mind to test drive but the lack of honesty made me decide to not even try them. We left and probably won't be back. It's a super nice and large dealership with a huge inventory of new cars and trucks. Tons of GMC trucks.

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and was told, in writing, that the vehicle was mechanically sound. I didn't get a mile out of the dealership (of my 2 hr drive home) and the brake light and check engine light came on. I have taken the truck to my mechanic and it is going to cost me $4000 to have it repaired and was informed that the issues could have blown up the engine. I am disgusted that the salesman blatantly lied about the mechanical state of this vehicle. The dealership wants nothing to do with the issue and are taking no responsibility for the misleading information that was given to me in regards to the vehicle. Buyer beware of this dealership! I will not recommend this place to anyone.

I was told by my salesperson that interest rates were between 3.6% and 6.5% depending on credit score. I have an 846 credit score and my wife has a low 800's and our interest rate is 7.25% on this loan. The paperwork was already done so we went ahead and signed everything, but we will definitely be refinancing very soon. Seems to me GM is taking advantage of people that have great credit scores. Might look at Ford or Dodge next time around. This seems very underhanded and in my opinion is unacceptable.

Beware! This dealership is no different than many others. They play the numbers game. What should've been a simple sale ended up being a no go when they tried to offer lowest value for my almost excellent condition trade then come up with some off the wall payment without ever running credit or submitting to a creditor...just throw out a number and ask for agreement. Lol I've played this game and lost in my younger years but will NOT get screwed again. I WILL buy a vehicle so this is their loss I can't believe this guy actually attempted to screw me with a straight face
