Everyone in the shop is professional, fun and friendly, the atmosphere is always so welcoming!! If you are looking for an a great place to get some work done this is where to go! My husband and I live in Milwaukee and we travel to Chicago for our art every time, wouldn't consider going anywhere else!!!

This was my first time at Logan Square Tattoo. I had heard from a friend who regularly goes there that Heath Rave was his trusted tattoo artist. I contacted Heath to set up an appointment on very short notice and he was more that happy to take on my design. I had a very geometric design with all straight lines varying in width. This wasn't an easy design but Heath was very detailed oriented and made sure everything was lining up and that every line was straight. I couldn't be happier with his work.

This review is for Christian. I've worked with many tattoo artists but once I found Christian I've been loyal to him! I live in California now but I wait until I'm back visiting Chicago to get work done because he's that good. I like to draw my own tattoos and he does a great job preserving my drawings when a lot of other tattoo artists like to add in their own style. Work always heals flawlessly and my very detailed pieces still look great years later. Highly recommend!!!

I’ve gone here for three tattoos with Allie Sider now (with more planned for the future!) and my expectations have always been exceeded. Allie is a fantastic artist and his shading/detailing abilities are phenomenal. As for the overall environment, it is wonderful. The place is extremely professional and all the artists are very informative/knowledgeable to their craft. There are absolutely no half-measures here. Even with such a professional environment, I found everyone easy to talk to and converse with during each tattoo session. Seriously one of the best studios in Chicago.

I have been following Allie Sider from shop to shop since the fall of 2013. Logan Square Tattoo is, by far, my favorite shop in which he's worked. It's clean, bright, and filled with excellent artists who are happy to converse with you if you're in the mood. Gifford, the owner, is particularly amiable, and I always enjoy talking to him about music. Everyone at the shop tries to cultivate an environment that is comfortable for all customers, and they always work to correct any issues that may arise along that front, which I greatly appreciate. Yesterday, I got my 15th & 16th tattoos from Allie. They were the second and third matching tattoos I've gotten with my best friend, who also loves his work. Over the years, I have sent multiple friends to Allie to have work done, and we have all been extremely happy.

I get tattooed by Gifford at least once a month. I'm currently in the process of a full biomech sleeve as well as a biomech piece from my right knee down to my ankle. Gifford and the other tattooers are all extremely nice and fun to be around. Very clean and professional environment. I would HIGHLY recommend Logan Squre Tattoo to anybody looking for a high quality tattoo!

The guys at Logan Square are amazing. Great artists, very accommodating and tuned in to what their customers are looking for, and also really friendly and welcoming. I'm currently in the process of getting a custom-designed tattoo by Gifford, which I will post here when it's done. His work is really unique and special, and he will be handling many of my tattoo "needs" in the future. I highly recommend this shop. There are tons of great shops in Milwaukee (which is where I live), but I still prefer to drive all the way to Chicago to get work done here. I should also mention that the tattoo Gifford is working on right now is a difficult cover-up piece, and it's turning out incredible. So I would also recommend him for those kinds of specialty jobs.

This is a custom shop, so when you go in, the artist you want to work with offers you a free consultation. From there, he or she will draw up a design unique to you, very attentive to your input and ideas. The shop has three full-time artists and often hosts guest artists from around the country. Between them, this shop can do pretty much whatever style of tattoo you're looking for: traditional, old school, new school, black and gray, color, biomech, small tattoos, whole and half sleeves—you name it. If you want to get a tattoo in the Chicago area, this is the place!

Very clean and professional shop. I have been getting tattooed by Gifford (the shop owner) and Mike Mac for years and have followed them from the shop they previously worked at in Oak Park. They have four full time artists who specialize in their own style and they frequently do guest spots with out of town artists. My favorite part about this shop is the lack of "tattitude" you are accustomed to seeing in shops in Chicago. It is a very welcome environment and nobody is going to make you feel stupid for asking "dumb questions." This is a full custom shop so no mountains of tacky flash covering the walls. These guys are real artists and I cannot say enough about the quality of this shop.

I waited a long time to have my first tattoo (age 40). After much research, I went with LST and it was a very positive experience. I had a specific design in mind and the artist (Mike) worked with me on it. He understood what I was going for and accommodated my requests all the while recommending, based on his expertise, subtle tasteful enhancements to the design that made work much better. It's been 2 weeks and it looks great. I have received many compliments. Thank you for the craftsmanship and experience. Highly recommend it A+++

Mike Mac at Logan Square Tattoo is a true artist and phenomenal tattooer! He will help you come to the final design of your tattoo without trying to push you towards things you don't want. He's funny, kind, and will only do as much as you can handle. Also, his work is sick! He and other tattooers have some beautiful ready-made designs just waiting to get inked. The shop is clean, welcoming, and plays awesome music. Everyone working at Logan Square is kind and hilarious. It's a really relaxing place to get tattooed! Thanks again, Mike!
