Went and got a simple ear piercing today, 10-30-19 which was $40 cash. The piercing itself took maybe 5 minutes, and about 10 total for after care since I got a bit lightheaded. Tony was very patient, kind and well informed. Answered any questions I had and kept conversation with his customers. I felt bad though because the couple before me got matching tattoos and tipped him $40-60 bucks. Which I had only brought exactly what I needed to pay. I will come back in the future for more tattoos and piercing and will recommend them to others

I went here for my first professional tattoo was not disappointed. They did a great job on the tattoo I got. It looks amazing and if anyone wants a tattoo you should try these guys out. There also very amusing and funny Was an all around awesome experience even there apprentice fixed a messed up tattoo on my shin I was very surprised on how she was able to bring it back better than what was there and how awesome it looks now.

I got a tattoo when red sky first started. I got kermit the frog on my breast. Everyone was great and respectful. I went back a few years later which was a few days ago and got a touch up of color. They do this for free. Yes. Free. For life. They were clean friendly and gentle. If your going to ocean shores this is the best place to get a tattoo

Super nice staff and they got us in the next day. My tattoo turned out just like I imagined and it's on the top of my foot which was not enjoyable but Joshua kept a conversation going the whole time which was distracting and helped a lot. I will be going back!

These guys Anthony and Josh are awesome guys. Its a very friendly environment great customer service. And very skillful and talented with their work. Anthony did my tattoo and he even put a lot of my seperate ideas for single tattoos and used those elements to make one piece. I recommend anyone traveling as a tourist or even living in ocean shores to go to Red Sky Tattoo if you're considering getting a tattoo the are the go to guys. They won't allow you to leave unsatisfied. Kudos to these guys!! I love my tattoo and I will definitely be back to get more.

myself and my girlfriend were visiting ocean shores and decided to get tattoos. she was approached by a very rude and cocky tattoo artist. she had ideas for a tattoo and he continued to say no to her. she finally decided on a tattoo which was a simple word with a shaded heart with a little red in it. he colored in the heart in full with no shading now she needs a touch up right away to save the botched artwork.what a way to ruin someones vacation. tony was a very good artist its too bad the other guy ruins the shop.

If I could rate lower I would! Very much so not happy, went in for a very simple hand drawn flower outline tattoo. Lines turned out uneven, and crooked, like I can’t even explain how truly upset I am. I was not comfortable, shop was cold. With multiple other tattoos I could tell he was going way too deep with the lines, there are multiple spots where ink is almost missing, like he realized he was going too deep lightened up, but lighted up too much then went back too deep. Tony kept asking if I was doing alright, but that can’t make up for bad truly tattooing.

I have also had 2 tattoos done by him and lemme tell ya they are so good. I’ve been to 2 other tattoo artists and he has the lightest hand. They also healed very nice no problems at all. 10/10

Friend got a tattoo here the other day. Great work and drawing done. Wonderful artwork. Custom tattoo. Artist spent a long time getting the details correct and she got exactly what she wanted. The coloring and the attention to detail is simply amazing. Would recommend to anyone in ocean shores area. Even if just visiting the area.

One star because I can’t give zero. Skip Red Sky and go to High Tide Body Art. Visited this shop today for my first ever tattoo (I’m 64). Met Josh and I could not believe how rude he was. I want a quotation tattoo and he was impatient that I didn’t know the exact font - he gave us a website to look at fonts and I picked one but I was uncomfortable with the size (elbow to wrist). Asked if we could resize ... nope. What if I picked a different font ... nope. Was totally unwilling to work with us on getting to the tattoo I wanted. Frankly. looking at Josh’s book, his skill doesn’t warrant his arrogance. Ended up going to High Tide Body Art. I get the tattoo tomorrow but the friendliness and customer service was amazing. I’m already glad I went there.

My first tattoo? It was all right... nothing special. As a matter of fact, the tattoo artist (Josh, I think, bulky curly-haired brunette) made me and my friend feel quite awkward about getting matching tattoos. She took a picture of him at work on me, and the next thing we know, she’s getting snapped at and scolded about how photos aren’t allowed and HIPAA laws apply... all valid, but seriously, it was a photo of ME and his delivery was so unfriendly and abrupt. Totally ruined the mood. Such a tribute to regulations, when I’m laying there, forced to listen to obscenity-riddled conversation between the artist and client next door. And the tattoo itself? Nothing special. Six months later, and I’ve got blurry lines, inconsistent shadowing, and all this with proper aftercare. If anything is clear, it’s that the shop takes advantage of its location and its clients. Any actual artistic talent takes a backseat to the impulsivity of its nautical location, half-drunk clients, and whatever artists happen to be on duty at the time. Get inked elsewhere.

Tony did tattoos for my best friend and I two days ago and it was the best experience I've had getting a tattoo. The tattoo is absolutely beautiful and was virtually painless. I almost fell asleep while Tony was working on it. The shop is very clean, well maintained, and the artists are amazing, friendly people who make you feel welcome and at ease immediately when you walk in the door. Tony is very gentle and not heavy handed with the needle at all, which makes it a wonderfully pleasant experience. If you're looking for a great tattoo but you're a bit uneasy about it, I suggest going to Red Sky. They will put you at ease and take great care of you. And their prices are just fabulous too!!!

Scheduled a chair time a few days in advance. Sent in the art. When we showed up nothing had been drawn up for the tattoo. Told us to give them an hour to knock it out. Showed back up two hours after the scheduled chair time and still no art. Ended up walking out with no tattoo. Ruined our sons 18th birthday present.

Went into red sky yesterday for my second tattoo from them. Their shop is clean and welcoming, the people are friendly and obviously love what they do. My tattoo is awesome again, they did a great job. Got it on top of my foot which is really painful but my artist was gentle and it wasn't too bad. Came out great. Can't wait to go back for my next one.

Went in with my friend so she could get a tattoo. On a whim I decided to finally get my belly button done. The guys were nice and cracked jokes. The piercing itself was fine, but within a few days I ended up having an allergic reaction to the metal in the shaft. I had to go out and buy new jewelry for it. Guess that's what you get when you get a 35 dollar piercing. My friends tattoo turned out okay, but she wishes she would have gone to our regular guy and not this random shop. She will need to have touch ups done.

We stoped by here one weekend and the piercer wasnt there so we came back a few weeks later and its pretty cool inside. They are very friendly and helpful and work very hard. Red Sky Tattoo is the worst tattoo shop I have ever been to, the place was pathetic, dirty, The guy that we spoke to, I think his name was mick, immediately started talking trash about his partner saying that we should get our tattoos with him because he is better, plus he made my girl completely uncomfortable and on top of all of that, he was drinking when we came into the store, as we was getting ready to do someones tattoo! Their portfolio of work was down right pathetic too and the place just reeked like pot and this odd melted plastic smell. We will never go there again and do not recommend that anyone else should either! If you want a good Tattoo, go up to Seattle and find people who are actual professionals!

My girlfriend and I got matching tattoos here a couple weeks ago. Mine was done by a guy named Josh and hers was done by a gal that worked there (can't recall her name). The gentleman that did mine took about half the time as the other. My tattoo looks like a cheap knock off version of my girlfriend's. The gal that did my girlfriend's tattoo spend much longer and used different sizes smaller needles towards the tips of our fern leaf tattoos, my ends have already begun to spill into each other. I will probably have to have this tattoo at least re-worked by a different tattoo artist, if not removed. We are very unhappy with our results and I would not recommend this tattoo parlor, they were friendly and nice to get us in but the again the gentleman that did mine seemed very rushed and it shows!

My Girlfriend and I went on a vacation to ocean shores. She decided to get her first tatoo. The guy who works there was very rude and not helpful. He made her feel intimidated and dumb about not knowing about tatoos.It almost ruined her tatoo experience with this being her first one. We didn't get one there and drove the 40 minutes to hoguim and got her one at hosstyle ink he was friendly and did a great job. If it was possible to give no stars i would this place doesnt deserve any stars.

The reason why we went to this tattoo shop was because it was the only one that has a walk-in system every where is make an appt if i wanted a tattoo in two weeks i would of waited but i called up josh and he was sure come on in i drove from westport to ocean shores for a tattoo came out with three... Really love the place clean Toni and josh are very friendly would recommend this shop to anyone that wants a last minutes tat and also they do piercings without appt. This place is amazing. Very clean and sanitary, and the bedside manner I received while getting my lower back tattoo was excellent. Josh was the one who did my tattoo, he kept talking to me to distract me from the pain and was super sweet. He has a great sense of humor too! And of course the prices are great. I highly recommend Red Sky Tattoo for anybody looking to get some new ink. Excellent service all around!

The tattoo is ok, however I wanted blue baby feet not just black on the tattoo. I expressed THIS blue COLOR FOR THE FEET SEVERAL times during the consultation but yet my request was obviously dismissed. Even my husband said to me, did you change your mind about the blue? NO!!! They said free touch ups...but not sure when I will get down there again. But when I do...I want blue added so no one has to guess boy or girl for the baby feet remberanc. Other than that I love My designed tattoo.

Staff was totally rude and unprofessional, smoking outside for half an hour and BS-ing while we waited during our RESERVED time. Then my artist worked on my tattoo while swearing and yelling at other Co-workers & visa versa, which made the experience entirely awkward - I wished I could’ve gotten up and left. So disappointed. Won’t be returning. (Also tattoo was subpar and smudged.)

Had a great experience here. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Went in for a piercing without an appointment and Tony fit me in no hassle and no problem. He was very professional and explained the whole process until I understood the procedure. They had portable folding walls that they set up to provide privacy for the piercing and everything was done efficiently and with hardly any pain. The service here was great and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tatoo or a piercing. I will be coming back here for future work to be done. The place looked clean it was about 2 years ago when i got my tattoo it turned out ok but it didn't seem like he has a lot of experience when he was fumbling around in the stuff looking for his tools. But when we returned twice to vacation hoping he could touch up my tattoo he wasn't open even on a Friday or Saturday. very disappointed cause my tattoo faded in places and will need fixing which will now cost me money.

Love the guys at Red Sky Tattoo! Went to see Josh again. The best way I can describe what I asked him to do was to take two tattoos I got a couple years ago from two different tattoo artists and basically marry them. They were supposed to go together, front and back, joined over the shoulder and they just didn't. Josh did a fantastic job fixing that! He also touched up my crab on the top of my foot that he did a few months ago, no charge. If you've had a tattoo on the top of your foot, you know it's not exactly fun. But those two crazy guys kept me laughing so I hardly noticed. I'd definitely going back. Thanks Josh!!!
