After doing some research online to find places to get a septum piercing, I came across Pierced Hearts Tattoo Parlor. I read all of the reviews online first before making my decision and I am content to say that they were the right choice. I went into the shop and asked to get my septum pierced. They had inquired about if i wanted to keep the jewelry down or up for the duration of the healing process. They also gave me quite a large selection to choose from, which was really nice as other places I have been to didn't offer that. The tattoo parlor was clean and well maintained, the staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Chance had answered all of my questions and put my concerns to rest. They were very professional and I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to get a piercing!

Got my ears pierced here initially by Chuck years ago the day of my senior prom and it went great! Months later, they closed up when I wimped out and couldn't go through with changing the earrings, so fast-forward a few years: I went to get my ears repierced at a shop in Tacoma on their Friday the 13th $20 piercing sale - such a mistake! They used a standard size for all earrings and the earring in my right ear ended up being too short and actually eating into my ear. It was painful to the touch and I was worried about it getting infected, so I went back to PH. Jeremy (I think) was truly amazing!! I explained the situation to him while he was looking at it, and asked him if it would be painful to remove. He then showed my the earring which he had somehow already removed?? I was so impressed, as I felt literally NO pain. I'm getting a tattoo soon and am definitely planning on coming here. Everything is super clean, the staff is courteous, and you feel welcomed the moment you walk in. 10/10 would come again

A friend and I had our septums pierced here yesterday. Everyone in the shop was friendly and knowledgeable. The whole process was enjoyable and you knew they sanitized everything correctly and knew exactly what they were doing. My piercer, Chance, talked throughout the process and explained everything he was doing. There's even an electric, elevating, medical-type padded table that you lie down on. Great pricing. Will return again.

Im here on vacation from Florida and decided to hop on the metro today to get pierced here. The studio is gorgeous and has a great atmosphere. Joey double pierced my eyebrow today and is absolutely awesome! I asked him what i thought about getting it double pierced and he walked me through the whole process and explain to me how the healing process would be for my eyebrow and what could happen with this piercing. Definitely gonna come back here the next time i’m in Seattle and I recommend Pierced Hearts to everyone!

Took my daughter there to get a helix and a couple ear lobes piercings. First of all, the place is very clean and has great selections for jewelery. Chuck welcomed us with her warm smiles and patience. My girl is not known to have high tolerance for pains and discomforts. Chuck made her feel very safe and calm the whole time. This was my first facial piercing, and everyone was incredibly helpful and informative! The place was clean and neat, and all their tools were in sterile packaging and one time use. Chris did my piercing and it was quick, clean, and with little to no discomfort. I received lots of information on care, and just a lot of insight to my piercing (I got my nose done) and the pros and cons. TL;DR: I would come back again. This place was awesome!

Went in because I was nearby to get a new hoop for a nose piercing I had re-pierced 6 weeks ago (one that I had for over 8 years and only taken out a year ago) and the girl refused to let me buy a hoop because their piercers "would refuse to put it on me for safety reasons". Um ok my piercer is the one who told me 6 weeks till i could change it. And you won't even sell me the jewelry?! Super lame and terrible communication style and customer service by the front desk girl. Plus she kept cutting customers in front of her off to answer the phone and then would be on it for several minutes making it very awkward. I'll be sticking to Deep Roots for my tattoo and piercing needs.

It's been 4 weeks since I got my nose pierced here. It was a great experience. The place is real clean. Loved the selection of all the jewelry and although I don't plan to get a tattoo, I have to say that the designs on display are quite beautiful. My piercer was Frank. He's really great at what he does and very particular about keeping everything sterile. Throughout the whole process he must've changed his gloves at least 7 times. It's very reassuring to see that and know that you're well taken care of. He even helped me insert the earrings I bought. After I was done the area around was quickly cleaned and sterilized. Super professional and I'd recommend this to anyone.

SIX MONTH UPDATE: my piercings are healing/healed beautifully. The septum is completely healed and while I believe the after care on the nostril indicates I still have a couple months before its officially fully healed, it is also doing fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you pierced hearts!!!!!! I had my nostril and my septum pierced here about a month apart, and Jeremy was extremely helpful, professional, clean and had an excellent "bedside manner". He answered all my questions fully and made the piercing and aftercare (which is of course ongoing) experience very smooth and pleasant.

Made an appointment to get my tongue pierced. Came in on the day and the staff seemed distracted and grumpy. No one was friendly and the general air was that they hated their jobs. Got my tongue pierced and after the swelling went down it became apparent it was crooked. Went in and another employee offered to do it again on the house. The parlor was clean, the piercing (besides being crooked) healed well and quickly. My only real complaint is the several times I went in I never felt welcome or comfortable being there. The staff acted "too cool" and it bummed me out. I wouldn't go in again or recommend this parlor. Seattle has a plethora to choose from and I'd rather spend my money somewhere I'm going to get friendly, engaging service.

Me nd my best friend went to get her first tattoo. We got matching ones and the artist ensured if we were at all unsatisfied to come back in and get it touched up. We tipped him generously. A couple days after my girl realized hers was shaky and called to make sure he was there. He was, but he was unwilling to fix his faults and was very rude when we tried to set up an appointment with him. I do not recommend this shop for tattoos, but they do have a great selection on jewlery

Wonderful wonderful wonderful! Best piercing experience. Anthony walked through lobe piercing with my niece and made her very comfortable. He explained the process/tools, told her each step and let her know what he was doing the whole time. Anthony also pierced my tragus. They recommended doing one side at a time for comfort. I got my nipples pierced here a few days ago by Frank, and it was a fabulous experience. I read all the piercing reviews that mention Chuck by name so I was kind hoping for her, but I hope that no longer. Frank was awesome. Incredibly professional, patient with my hundreds of questions/nervous jitters and giggling, and most importantly he's a really good piercer. Can't beat the prices, the staff was friendly and nice, and Frank was the best. You should come here. I'll be back. One Year Later Update: I have gone back to Pierced Hearts a ton of times for various nit picky nervous reasons. They have always been incredibly nice and gotten me into their schedule with minimal wait time. I have a soft spot for Frank who originally did my piercings (he is so well informed!) but I've had Jeremy and one of the other guys as well. Honestly my experience there has been so great that I would go to any of the staff for help. I love my piercings and I am so happy I went to Pierced Hearts. Plus, they're the only member of the American Piercers Association (APP) in Seattle and Chuck is one of the piercers that Elayne Angel refers people to on her website. All in all, a good choice!

This is a review of the piercing service, not the tattoo service, at Pierced Hearts. Had 3 helix piercings done here about 18 months ago. Clean shop, all staff wear gloves when working with customers, even front counter staff showing jewelry, and everyone is super nice and helpful even when you ask stupid newbie questions. My Piercer, Chuck, was amazing! I told her I don't like needles and she made it her mission to make sure I didn't see one during the process, she didn't even say the word "needles" after that. Watched her open the sealed autoclave case jewelry and needles were in so I know equipment was clean. All prices were as stated on the website and jewelry is top notch. One piercing did get a bit angry recently when it got abused in the living of life, but I popped back into the shop today and a Piercer, not Chuck, but another super friendly gentleman whose name I didn't catch, took a look at it to see if I needed a longer post for a while or if it was infected - Lucky for me, just diligent icing to help the swelling, but he said I should definitely come back by of it hasn't improved in 48 hours- best part, since no jewelry had to be changed, the check-up was free! I very much recommended Pierced Hearts!

I picked this place to get my nose pierced for the first time. I have had my ears pierced and stretched to a 6g but that's all. I was kind of nervous to get it pierced at first but I really wanted it. I had an appointment for 2 o'clock and they were ready for me as soon as I got there. They had a great selection of jewelry and were super nice. The piercing area was very sterile and clean and so was the equipment. My piercer (Frank) was super nice and walked me through step by step about what he was going to do and how to care for it. And when the actual pricing came is was quick and it didn't hurt even near as much as I thought it might. It didn't bleed at all and it was hardly sore. I will definitely come back for any other piercings I might want to get. It was a great experience and I would definitely suggest coming here!

A few years ago Joe Who gave me a line of text on each of my arms. To this day I get compliments from people who think they were just done. the line work has not budged, or faded, it healed so beautifully. I didn't even need a touch up. this shop is full of quality artist and I look forward to returning for more interesting/challenging art when I can afford it. If you want long lasting, clean, and high quality work this is the place to go.

I haven't even gotten a piercing there yet, however I went in looking to get my uncomfortable jewelry changed out. Jeremy was very surprised at how poor quality the piercing and jewelry was. He took it out and put new, high quality stuff in. He was a genital as he could be with a piercing that was irritated and only two weeks old. I will definitely be going back the next time I want a piercing.

I was trying to get a tattoo on short notice on a Saturday, and had called several tattoo shops around Seattle. I dropped by Pierced Hearts to see if they could accommodate me. Chris, the artist I ended up working with, listened to me explain my design and was honest about his comfort with doing that type of work. He told me they had other artists who had more experience with the type of thing I wanted, but that he'd be happy to do it; he just wanted a bit of time to work up the design, since, though it was fairly simple, it was not quite what he usually did. He offered to make an appointment for the following day. I appreciated his honesty and direct communication. He was great to work with! He was open to hearing what I wanted and tactful about giving his professional suggestions. The piece turned out better than I'd hoped. He charged an extremely reasonable price and the whole time was just a fun, pleasant person to talk to for a couple hours. The shop was generally a fun, sociable, place to hang out. Everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. Thanks Pierced Hearts folks!

I got my helix pierced here twice (the first time I didn’t care for it properly and let it close, then I got it redone a few months later), and I had such a great experience there I recently got my first tattoo done here also. I recently got my first tattoo at Pierced Hearts. It was a great experience! I needed a font done a very specific way and Pierced Hearts delivered. The process was streamline and personal, I really enjoyed it. My artist's name was Sean, he was a funny guy with a lot of personality. He made sure I got the experience I wanted. The experience was not unlike a Beefy 5 Layer Burrito from Taco Bell™, an overall great time that left me satisfied and in a little bit of pain afterwards. Sean's touch was soft, like a warm, moist Soft Taco Supreme® from Taco Bell™. His voice was smooth and creamy, like the fresh Queso in Taco Bell's™ new Nacho Cheese Doritos® Locos Tacos (available for a limited time, while supplies lasts). After getting my tattoo, I went home and immediately showed off my new Ink to my talking dog and cat. My dog was ecstatic and loved the tattoo, but my cat just insulted me and called me a Queefhuffer. My cat is a total dick, so this isn't surprising. Overall I'd give Pierced Heart's Tattoo Parlor 3 decapitated refrigerated heads out of 3. Great stuff! Almost as great as this Crispy Chicken Quesadilla from Taco Bell™ I'm currently eating.

Joey pierced my daughter's ears. He's so gentle and kind and checked in with my daughter at every step, assuring her she could stop the process when or if she changed her mind. The placement of her earrings looks great and it was a super hygienic process with quality earrings. Highly recommended for kids.

I've never had a cartilage piercing before, and I really wanted an industrial. I've heard it to be one of the most painful piercings, but also some people say it isn't bad. I also have a very low pain tolerance, so I was pretty skeptical about getting it done, but I kept telling myself that it would be worth it. I was on spring break in seattle and decided to get my industrial done here. Chuck did it so well and was just so nice and pleasant to my awkward self. It barely hurt! I'm very happy with my piercing and also very happy with such great service. Awesome place, and awesome piercer!

I went in for a walk-in without an appointment and was told that they were booked for the day but that I could wait and if they had time they would squeeze me in. I ended up being able to have my service done within 10 minutes of my arrival which was amazing. The people were welcoming and made the process quite simple. This was my first tattoo. I had a custom design and I have no artistic talent, so I had a friend draw it and then had to work from there. I ended up with JoeWho when I called to make an appointment for a drawing consult since I had no artist preference. He did a stellar job and was very patient with all the editing and changes I wanted, all while keeping his artistic style in the design. The shop is clean, professional and pleasant. They're obviously on top of health and hygiene. JoeWho is a stellar artist--multiple younger artists came up to him in their down time to watch him draw on me and asked him questions and observed his style. I couldn't have asked for a better tattooing experience.

I had an appointment at 1pm on Thursday and showed up an hour early... When we walked in we were greeted by and incredibly nice young lady that told us if we wanted to wait they could try to fit me in early. So I filled out the forms and before I could decide whether to wait or come back the piercer (Jeremy) came out, smiled and asked if i was ready. It hadn't even been ten minutes! Jeremy was super professional and answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. All around it was an amazing experience and I will be going back. :)

My experience here could not have been better! Over the phone the staff was clear, concise and very informative about their prices, availability and services. When I came to get my nose done after having my piercing out for almost two years I was informed that I would not have to get it re-pierced but to simply have the hole expanded. The guy who did it was very informative, calming and strait forward. I seriously will be sending everyone I know here.
