first tattoo experience, and it was awesome. came in impromptu (walk-in) with a friend from out of town -- we didn't get complex tattoos but they turned out sharp, clean, and beautiful. We were tattooed by johnny who was already in the process of working on other tattoos/schedules, but managed fit us in, was very friendly, professional and honest. I would recommend to others to choose going here, the quality of work really stands out.

This place is great!! Just got my first tattoo with Johnny Delgado and I seriously couldn't recommend him anymore. He tattooed my mom and I and we both LOVE the work that he did. He's an extremely talented artist, very professional, friendly, and just overall great dude. Seriously don't even look at any other places. Old Gold is hands down the best place in town, and yourself a favor and book your appointment with Johnny. You won't be sorry! I'm actually about to book another appt with him asap!

Everyone there was super nice, and a lot of the work on the walls was beautiful, but I dont think my tattoo came out very well. It was just a small piece of Roman numerals, but there are a few part of it that will need touching up on the future, and some things I dont think are fixable.

La-la-lovely!!! Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere in general was very open and comfortable. I went here to get my very first tattoo and they were very patient and encouraging, and helped put my nerves at ease by cracking jokes and distracting me from the pain. It was like hanging out with old friends :) not to mention the fact that my tattoo looks awesome ;) I will for sure go back for my next one! Highly recommended.

I contitune to go back time and time again to Old Gold. Their crew is not only knowledgable on the craft of tattooing but are also amazing artists and professionals. Most recently I was tattooed by Chuncho, and he exceed any expectations I had for this piece, Chuncho is one of the O.G. artists that pushed for the tattooing scene in Bellingham and is the owner of the shop. For all my friends and family I would recommend any artist from Old Gold's repertoire but if you get the chance and he has to the time ask for Chuncho, not only will he give you some amazing ink he'll also give you a history lesson and tell you a story or two if you are lucky!

I really like Old Gold! Long story short, one of the employees messed up on my tattoo. That night he was fired, and the manager is going to fix it for me at no charge. All the artists there are great, and its a very interesting environment to get a tattoo in. It is cash only however, so be prepared to walk a couple blocks to the ATM.

I got my first tattoo here and the chick who did my tattoo was amazing and really nice. But so was everyone else. I would def. come back for another tattoo in the future. They have a clean shop and are really friendly, I would recommend this place to my friends. I'm planing on taking on friend here. They also will work out prices with you if you can't afford to pay all of it.

$200 for 17 minutes worth of a touch up after getting a 35 minute tattoo that cost an additional $240. That's sure a cocky hourly rate on their part. Not to mention they only accept cash. I wonder how much they file as taxable income to the DOR?.........Average quality tattoo, a slipped line and missed shading by Max. Will not return as a customer.

Absolutely one of the best shops in the NW. There's a reason I'll happily make a two hour trip to be a patron at this shop and this shop alone. The shop itself is clean and very well kept with an extensive collection of quality flash on the walls that instantly makes you feel like you made the right choice in where to get a tattoo. The staff is exceptionally helpful and informed on the craft that they practice, as well as extremely fair with what they charge for the level of work they do. To have a place like this, that truly embodies the spirit of traditional tattooing and doing it so well is truly a rare commodity in todays world. Even if you arent in the market for skin art you owe it to yourself to stop in and see the art they have and pick up some merch to help continue keeping the experience that is Faithful Tattoo alive.
