Everyone who's seen my ink appreciated it and this is something I can truly say I love! So overall, the customer service, price, workmanship, and environment (clean at the same time fun) at Artful Dodger are great!! Having my project done here at Artful Dodger was all worth it! If I need more ink projects done in the future, this is exactly where I'll be going back to!

Tattoo done by Berger. The tattoo came out amazing, and Berger gave me a great, detailed explanation of what to do for after care for the tattoo. He also offered a free touch up after it heals. I'll definitely be returning for any future tattoos.

Alivia did a great job! I decided to cover up my old tattoo that was not done very well and this was my first time getting a tattoo at a legitimate establishment so I didn't know what to expect. There was less communication with the tattoo artist than I anticipated (just a few emails altogether) so I was worried at first that any concerns I had about the design would cut into my appointment time. However, the alterations I ended up requesting on the design were done really quickly and turned out lovely. I also think giving multiple reference images really helped get my ideas across, so I recommend being as clear as you can with your artist. Overall, I felt that the atmosphere in Artful Dodger Tattoo was both professional and relaxed. Alivia was really friendly and informative and completed applying my entire tattoo in only about an hour. The price was less than I expected as well. I will definitely seek her out for any future tattoos I decide to get! Thanks again Alivia!

So unprofessional! They canceled my appointment a few hours before and through an email! And I paid my deposit! Wouldn't reschedule or give me a different artist. They all had entitled attitudes and talked down to me for no reason! I left almost in tears. Then I went to living skin in Spokane valley and they were so nice and professional and gave me a way better price! Never going anywhere else!

I walked in, no appointment, and was immediately helped by the front desk staff. I was set up to get a tattoo in less than 10 minutes! I wanted a simple but precise tattoo. It’s lines of binary code, so lots of repetitive circles and lines. Ed (@edlearner on Instagram) was up to the challenge, and he absolutely knocked it out of the park. It’s clean, it’s beautiful, it was FAST, and it was well priced for the beautifully done job. If I wasn’t from out of town, I’d be a regular.

I was looking for a good place to get a tattoo. My first one did not turn out well and the cover up was just alright, so I was very apprehensive. A friend mentioned this place and I looked into it, seeing they had almost 5 star reviews everywhere. I emailed them with a picture of what I wanted and the quickly responded and reccommended Berger. He did such an amazing job on my tattoo and I absolutely LOVE it! Very calm, laid back guy and knowledgeable as well. Would recommend him and Artful Dodger to anyone (: will most definatley be going back to Berger for my next tattoo!! Update: Jake is a badass mofo too, his line work and script is something else. Think you'd be well off choosing to go to anyone here!

STAY AWAY! The manager is unprofessional and only cares about collecting a deposit. She'll overbook without consulting with the artists... and then try and swindle you out of refunding your deposit, when the artists push out the work by months. The one artist I dealt with was pretty cool and up front about his availability, he took me in for a quick tattoo and told me he wasn't available before 6 weeks to finish the larger piece I had in mind. When I called, a week later, to book a follow-up appointment, I was surprised when the manager booked me with the same artist that same day. She insisted on a deposit. When he obviously wasn't available and told me I would have to wait at least 6 weeks, I told him I would prefer not waiting that long, the artist was totally cool. But when I tried getting my deposit back, the manager would not do it. I had to exchange numerous emails and unpleasant calls with her, the artist... I wouldn't give up, out of principle. After 3 weeks I finally got my deposit back...! What a hassle for $50 from a potential repeat customer who would have spent 10 times that on the second tattoo! Just bad business!! Who acts like this?? The other artists also seem pretty good, but not worth putting up with the manager's attitude and total lack of customer service and common sense, especially when there are hundreds of tattoo shops in the Seattle area! Look around before settling on this place!! You'll find better! I certainly have!!

I just wandered past and thought I would check the place out. Its pretty rad, they are super friendly as I mosied around the shop lurking with intent in the comic area. The artist where going over their designs in-depth with the clients going over the concepts and hashing out the details. The comic selection is very tight, I was rather impressed all things considered that is.

Got a beautiful shoulder tattoo from Berger, matching with my friend. There was no issue with the design that we provided, and my favorite part was that he paid attention to what we wanted and made it happen in his own style. I showed some pictures of what I preferred as far as his watercolor technique from his previous designs, and mentioned some colors and direction. He took these and made something amazing. Some artists wont improvise, and that's okay too, but I really appreciated that he did. I'm glad we chose him for our matching tattoos.
