Well i called in advance to see when i could come in for a consultation with a specific artist and i was told anytime after 12 so I told them i would be after work around 2-230. I arrived at 2 and tattoo artist was busy but they said she would be right with me and one artist thought it was funny to curse while other customers were present by the way they introduced themselves as the owner WOW,,,,very unprofessional,,,don't be fooled by the website or fancy intro on the page. Then I was told to come back sometime after 4,,,like my time isn't precious ,,and asked if I wanted to make an appointment and put down a deposit,,WHAT,,,wasn't told anything but come back later. Never given any feed back like how long the piece would take, price, but they sure wanted money, and the artist didn't even take my photos to work on the piece,,unbelievable. Horrible avoid this shop at all costs!

Great studio. There's all kinds of styles going on so everyone can find an artist they like. The staff is professional and kind. Gabe, my artist, not only does wonderful psychedelic pieces but has great energy during the process. I adore his sketch-book heavy line work too. The studio is very clean with breakrooms for mid-tattoo sugar pick me up. I also enjoy the huge waiting rooms, perfect for group tattoos and waiting for consultations. Art is on every wall and the place is treated more like a homey gallery. The artists' professionalism is apparent. These people are the best of the best in Hampton Roads, all in one building.

This is a great location, my wife and I did some research into the local scene and were told by a few folks to check this place out, so we did. From start to finish the artists and office personnel were very helpful with each step from the consult to deposit to appointments. My wife had some work done with Colleen and myself with Mark. They were both very professional and passionate about their craft and hit the nail on the head with the outcome of our respective tattoo's. Also enjoyed the sense of camaraderie felt while in the chair. Other artists would walk in and say words such as "that is going to be a sick design when finished". The studio itself is also very clean and the cost is worth it. Highly recommend checking this place out as each piece of ink that comes from there is one of a kind.

I went into Studio Evolve with a basic idea of what I wanted and I chose Mark Wroblewski as the artist to design the tattoo, I was amazed at the design and detail he laid out in this tattoo, he is truly a gifted artist and will definitely look to him in the near future for more work to be done. I didn’t give her an actual picture or idea of what I wanted- I just told her I wanted something sparkly and pretty and she did exactly that. I’ve never seen another artist tattoo sparkles/glitter like she does! Her line work is also flawless. The shop is very clean and the atmosphere is great. Flaco is also a great artist! I haven’t had the honor of being tattooed by him yet, but some of my friends have and his work is also fantastic!!!

First and foremost, Mark Wroblewski is one of the best artists I've received work from in years. If you are thinking about your first tattoo or are looking to add to your collection, Mark is your guy! A brief synopsis of my experience with Studio Evolve, I was cordially greeted from a friendly receptionist upon entering the shop. The waiting area could use some new, comfortable furniture, but the wait is only temporary. Once Mark took me back to his workspace, it appeared to be clean, calm, and welcoming. It was obvious that he respects his work, his office, and the tools of the trade. I wasn't expecting an impressive bedside manner from him or the tattoo shop from past experiences of other shops, Mark is a very friendly guy, not intimidating, and ensured his clients are given respect from the initial greeting. I was impressed. The piece I asked him to design was very basic, not complex at all; however, if you check his portfolio, he is experienced and capable of fine detail if one is looking for multi-color design and/or realism. Afterwards, he didn't rush me out to take on his next client, but rather took a little time to discuss the next piece I was thinking about. I may be wrong, but assume this is rare, since time is money and an email can have the same conversation. To sum it up, Studio Evolve in Virginia Beach is one of the top, if not the top tattoo shop within Hampton Roads. Mark is truly an artist who loves his work and cares for his clients. If you're thinking about where to go, reach out to these guys.

I LOVE this place. Its clean (even smells clean), well lit, EVERYONE is friendly and professional. I started to go here when Abby was there. Now Mark is my go to artist. They have tablets with everyone's portfolio on it. Did I mention how wonderful this place is?? I've gotten several tattoos here and started my right sleeve. The artist do charge by the hour, not the tattoo. And there is a deposit that you can either keep on file, if you're working on a large piece like a sleeve, or you can use it after just one tattoo. The hourly rate varies by the artist, I think. And it's VERY fair pricing considering tattoos are forever. The quality is ALWAYS amazing with all the artist.
