Matt at True Tattoo is awesome very personable and does a excellent job. He did a tattoo for my wife that is a breast Cancer Survivor. The tattoo turned out superb and gave my wife Great Self Confidence. I would highly recommend True Tattoo very clean and sanitary. The artist here are superior, you can tell them a design and they can design it. I would Highly Recommend Matt for any work but all the artists are great.

Out of all the tattoo parlors I have been too, True Tattoo is by far my favorite. They have a very friendly staff and a very comfortable atmosphere. When I took my grandmother to get her first tattoo there, the staff after what kind of music she liked and switched the music chanel to make her more comfortable. My grandmother and I both just got our second tattoos from True Tattoo and they turned out amazing. They are very fair with pricing and have several different artists that specialize in different areas of tattooing like cover-ups, line work and portraits Etc. As long as true tattoo is in business I will continue to go back to them.

I went in today to get a tattoo with a vague idea and a internet clip art image. I came out with two amazing matching tattoos that are EXACTLY what I was hoping for. The people were all very nice, and professional. And most importantly the place was so CLEAN. Will certainly be returning for more work done by Don!!

By far the worst experience. Asked the shop to schedule a consult and they turn around and say that they don’t want to work on making me a sleeve because of an existing tattoo that I have looks bad and they don’t want their work next to mine. You know what that says about the artist? That he doesn’t have the confidence or skills to make an amazing tattoo and make the existing ones better. DO NOT waste your time contacting them, they will blow you off if it’s not to their liking. Basically they will tattoo whatever they want and not what you want. I would no star the rating but is not an option. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THE OTHER REVIEWS SAY!!!

My sisters and I decided to get "sisters" tattoos on our wrists. We found this place on the web and I read the great reviews and we decided we'd go for it. We walked in and Thomas was very polite and helped us pick out a font. Then Scott was our Tattoo artist. He showed us the tattoo and was very accommodating. I can't say enough good things. I highly recommend them.

Got my first tattoo done here by Tony and I couldn’t imagine having a better experience than I did. Every staff member that I met was SUPER cool and friendly. It’s an extremely fun and laid back environment. My session lasted seven hours and the whole time I joked around with Tony and Matt (you have to be pretty cool for someone to joke around with you for seven hours haaha). They are both awesome guys.. As for the end product, I’ve heard that Tony is one of the best in the area at black and grey realism tattoos and after getting my work done I can clearly see that he is.. I recommend him to anyone looking for realism work, especially black and grey. He totally killed it and I couldn’t be happier for my first tattoo. I will definitely be a repeat client..

Saw Matt with whom I had discussed adding some color to an existing piece. I thought that if he got this right, I'd have my new guy as my old guy moved away and got out of the biz. I literally couldn't have picked a better person. I could not be more pleased with what he got done with only 2.5 hours. I've already scheduled my follow up. Matt Grosso is the mann i originally stayed getting tattooed by him when he was in reading pa.@ a shop named reading tattoo. There he covered allot and reworked allot of my existing tattoos. And when he decided it was time for him to move on he landed up in Virginia @true tattoo. And i don't blame him for his selection of shops. True Tattoo is filled with top knotch artist and filled with the latest equiptment and products.... i will be making the trip again soon. Matt is a super cool dude. So go to him. His color saturation is unbelievable.

I went in this ship looking for something fairly simplistic, and no artist that was wasn't either stoned or sweating out alcohol, could remedy the situation. I wasn't impressed with their lack of creative juices, or even a little excitement in what they do for a living. Going down hill fast.

Every staff member greeted me - super friendly - I liked that they didn’t take themselves too seriously but their work is absolutely top notch. To say that True Tattoo is top of the line professional, would be an understatement. No words can do justice to how great this place is. Everyone in there makes you feel like family. My girl has had two sessions with Scott and it feels like we’ve known him for years. He’s in the process of doing a cover up for her that many other places said just couldn’t be done. It’s about a quarter of the way complete, and it looks amazing. The entire shop stays clean and very sanitary. Moving forward this will be our only tattoo establishment.
