I worked with Laura recently on a tattoo to memorialize one of my dogs. She took my general idea and made it beautiful. Her artistry was impeccable; true to life, detail-oriented, and it captured the personality of my dog to a T. The tattoo came out more beautiful than I had imagined it could be, and the amount of time and care she put into the design is evident. I am beyond pleased with her work as an artist and will be going back to her for future pieces. This was also my first professionally done tattoo. Laura and the other artists at Fortune Teller made me feel comfortable and taken care of. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and professional, and the space is beautiful and clean. I highly recommend Fortune Teller Tattoo for anyone looking to work with talented artists to get a high-quality tattoo. UPDATE: Just got another tattoo from Laura, and again she did an absolutely outstanding job with it! I will keep going back to her for future pieces, she is really a wonderful artist.

Had a wonderful experience with Zoe who gave me a tattoo I had been planning for a while. Her artwork was amazing, and she perfectly captured a vision that I had through a few images I sent to her before my appointment. The space itself was clean, bright and well-decorated. I would highly recommend any of the artists here and the shop itself to anyone looking for a tattoo in the area. I currently live in Colorado and waited until I returned to Vermont for a visit to get my tattoo because of how confident I was in their work!

I have had 2 pieces from Fortune Teller with Zoe Margot. Both are phenomenal. I recommend her constantly to anyone looking for American Trad work around here. She has thick lines, great color, and adds her own modern twist which I really love. Can't speak much to the other artists but in conversation with them they seem great.

Ivan did some sweet work, easily the best of all my tattoos. He took original Sailor Jerry art and ran with it in an amazing way creating his own work while keeping that classic style. I have recommended him to numerous people since being tattooed by him and will continue to do so. Professional, clean, kind, and very reasonable, Ivan is the best tattooist I have met to date. It may seem expensive but that's what you're supposed to pay for quality and paying less than Fortune Teller's rate will almost undoubtedly leave you with a trash tattoo from a trash shop. Seriously high class joint, best in town. Ivan is legit. He's done about a 3/4 sleeve on me so far and I'm stoked to get more done as soon as I can! Not only is he a dope artist, he is one of the coolest guys you'll ever be lucky enough to hang out with. Which you really come to appreciate when you're sitting with someone for hours on end getting work done. I can't recommend this place highly enough--6 out of 5!

Lauren Riegleman captured my vision and rendered it beautifully. I've thought about this tattoo, a complete wrap around design for my lower right leg, calf high, like a greave, for about fifteen years. She listened carefully during our conversation, intuited what I had in mind, tying in a couple of pacific islander tribal elements, specifically two suns on either side of my calf, and a snowy white owl taking flight, clutching a tightly weaved ball of Celtic knots on the calf muscle itself. Finally, connecting all three elements together with a loose weave of Celtic knots. I think the total visit time, completed in three sessions, was about seven hours. It was a pleasure to get to know Lauren, a consummate professional, with a load of talent. She made feel comfortable from the very beginning and she worked assiduously during each session. The shop is clean and inviting, with plenty of natural light, lots of light wood in an open venue floorplan. Totally enjoyed the experience. You will, too.

The tattoo shop itself is very clean and unique looking. My best friend and I got tattoos from Laura while on vacation in Vermont. Laura was very pleasant and professional and when I left I was happy. However, as our tattoos healed, we noticed many imperfections in the line work and in the color. There are places where the color is over saturated and places where it barely exists. And there are several places where she tried to correct the line work and now it just looks really thick and blurred in those areas. And in my tattoo, there is clearly a symmetry error on the right side. Basically now I have to go to my local tattoo artist and pay for the tattoo again so she can fix it. This is my fourth tattoo and I've never had these issues. I never leave bad reviews. But I'm hoping to save someone the disappointment of a poorly colored tattoo.

I can't say anything about the work done there. But I can say I spent 2 weeks trying to set up an appointment/consultation and only got a run around. On the phone they said to use email. They only answered the email once over two weeks with general info and no appointment time. No further response from them after continuing to attempt to set up time. I guess they don't want the income and that's why people go to MTL or Boston.
